    Incredible graphics, facial expressions and level design but let down by a rubbish story, poor character development and boring, repetitive game play. TLOU had a great story but terrible game play and this isn't much better unfortunately. What a disappointment. It was a real struggle to finish this game as it's very bloated.     First off, the game play was great, visuals,voice acting and world is freaking awesome. If you really enjoyed the first game like I did, DO NOT ruin the story with this trash. The story for the second one is terrible, I'm completely disappointed.

    I liked the visuals but gameplay seemed alot slower than previous game. Also I didnt like how the levels were larger but somehow more linear than the first game

    Best game of all the time... I do not understand at all who puts 0-6 to this masterpiece. Gameplay is incredibly funny and the story for my opinion is more emocional than the first The Last Of Us... and I finish that 7 times. Thank you Naughty Dog for this incredible journey! I can't wait for The Last Of Us Part 3!

    Es un viaje épico, maravilloso y muy intenso, que amplía a la perfección una historia que ya era impecable. Todo crece y se llenan espacios que no sabíamos que existían, agregando matices. Ya no hay buenos y malos o blanco y negro, sino una escala de grises que nos hace comprender, cuestionar y debatir.

I just finished the game and I can say its worth every penny. People are complaining about “hidden agendas” and “poor story telling” when a majority just get pissed off about the leaks they saw without context or within Playing the first 2 hours of the game. Everyone had their dream setting and outcome for this game and for most people this game is different. It personifies the villains. It demonizes heroes. But it does it logically and it is genuinely a great story. Combat is improved. Soundtrack is amazing. Graphics are excellent. My advice is to to buy this game but take time to read the notes in the streets. Look at characters expressions throughout the story. Think about yourself in each characters shoes and it really is a realistic adaptation of this apocalyptic world. I loved every minute of it and I’m happy for it to be a part of my collection.… Expand

Honestly, part 2 gives me great nostalgia of the first game which is why I’m in love and addicted. It almost makes me feel right back in the saddle with gorgeous graphical updates and new explorations that the 1st game can’t give me. Worth the buy. It lost all the charm and the magic. That joy of seeing Ellie and Joel become a family is gone. It's just bitterness and nihilism, it makes you feel gross.     Storyline was terrible and ending was bad although I must say that the gameplay was one of the best I have ever seen and the graphics were amazing. I think I am so disappointed because of the high expectations from the first game and it simply did not meet them. Really annoyed that I have waited since 2013 for this average at best game

The game is graphically beautiful but the story itself has failed entirely to serve as even an adequate follow-up to the beloved game that won our hearts all those years ago. This is a game born of bitterness, and an agenda. The people over at naughty dog hate this game, and they hate you for playing it. I'm all for an emotional gut punch, and it's fine if the blows keep coming, and don't ever stop, sometimes that's life and it can be used to drive a person forward. My disappointment with this game comes in the form of it not showing respect for it's characters, it's story, or it's fans.

    The people over at Naughty Dog were paid to make this, and they just put together this awful game, although they should be proud of the technical side of it. Beyond that though, this is a game with fun gameplay, beautiful graphics, and a terrible story. No one acts how they should, given their backstory, and you don't teach any lessons in this game which is supposed to have a moral. If you really wanted me to realize that revenge is bad, than maybe have a scene where Ellie marches through a graveyard that has pictures and names of the people she's killed, or you know all the dogs she killed. Or maybe put something in place that would allow Ellie to get through the game without killing hundreds. Or perhaps simply make it a choice at the end. write a compelling story for Abby and Ellie, and make me feel for both of their plights and then at the end, I as the player get to decide, do I kill Abby, or do I spare her and be the better person.

    That could have been an awesome story, instead we got this, no payoff, no lesson learned. Just an up front fee of sixty dollars, followed by a golf club to the knees.

    This game is a sad excuse for a sequel and it's a shame that this series is over. I hope they leave the Last of Us alone now. I hope this game get's all the hate it deserves, I hope Naughty Dog loses out on profits, and learns that this isn't the way forward. I know they probably wont, and we'll be seeing a Last of Us part 3 one day, but I have no hope for it, no excitement. I'll stick to the first game which I love so much, and I'll inevitably buy it again for the third time when they decide to remaster it on the next gen consoles. This game will swiftly be forgotten. It'll be in the bargain bin within weeks of it's release. A sad death for what was once something so filled with hope.

    If you are reading this, know that this game will only disappoint you. It's got good gameplay and beautiful graphics, a technical masterpiece, but the story is bad, and it tries to make you feel bad for playing the first game. It's obvious to me that someone high up at Naughty Dog hates this game, and the people who like it, and that person has had plenty of control over it. To whomever leaked the game, thank you for saving so many people their money. I hope future titles from all companies see what happened here and take something from it. You're free to make art, and I'm free to hate it and call it trash. I hope Naughty Dog finds it's true fans, the people they are obviously making this game for. I hope it's everything they wanted. But I wont be buying future Naughty Dog titles. Not when they come out, and not for weeks afterwards. I wont buy another Naughty Dog game until I see from those financially braver than I that it's a good game.

    Oh and one last thing to Naught Dog, I hope all of those reviews you bought were worth the price. Because now you might as well remove the critic score from every site out there. No one will ever trust them again. Good Job.    … Expand

    Looks good it tries to hard to go for SHOCK factor, so much so that you get used to it breaking any tension the game could offer; throw in some boring as bland characters and the complete nonsense the story is plus the dates gameplay and you have the perfect bore-bore cocktail.

    The story is just bad. I don't give 2 balls about Lev or Lara or whatever her name is. I didn't hate playing as Abby as much as I thought I would, but she was still **** boring compared to bae Ellie. In the end, after like 20 hours, we don't even get to murk Abby, we let her go.     Fighting : 8 / 10 ( smooth, it will better if you have more non-kill option like MGSV if you want to tell revenge is bad )

    ( There is many other ways to "Kill Joel", many ways to re-arrange the memory ordering in the game, and many ways to tell the story for Abby so that we can get more interesting on her )

    For the people who love Joel, what will be the feeling that they need to control Abby after Abby kill her like that in the very beginning and Joel is just act like an idiot ( unlike he is much more careful in the last of us 1 ), I think the only feeling is disgusting.

    It can be better if they include Abby in the fake trailer.
    It can be a good game if it is a separate story for Abby.
    It can also be better if the story just starting with Abby and her story, then she find Joel is the one who kill her father.

    And if the directer want to ask question,
    Just let me choose the answer in the ending of the game, but not only showing the animation.

    In conclusion, it can be a Great Game for EVERYONE but they just want to make a Game for SOME PEOPLE only, what a shame. Please don't call it "The Last of us Part II"    … Expand

    Technical wise is perfect, maybe the best of the gen, gameplay is similar to the first one but refined and more polished. It's not the best action game or the best stealth game, but it delivere. It will sell good of course but i hope nd change the way they are working going forward. Oh and btw, games are entertainment, not propaganda, if they start to become that, a new rating system showing it beforehand should be implemented.

Это является огромным минусом, учитывая, что от этих проблем страдала и первая часть. Не хотите менятьНе отталкиваясь от СЖВ повестки, можно с уверенностью сказать, что эта игра совершенно заслуженно получает 510. Почему? Всё просто. Унылый геймплей, как стелс так и исследование локаций, иногда перебивающееся не очень интересными вставками с диалогами персонажей или каких-либо интеракций. Это является огромным минусом, учитывая, что от этих проблем страдала и первая часть. Не хотите менять геймплей и дорабатывать его? Ладно. Главной претензией в сторону игры можно с лёгкостью отнести ту ахинею, что напридумывал Дракман. Сравнивая с первой частью, где сюжет был приятным, линейным приключением с очень неоднозначной концовкой, можно легко понять негодования в сторону второй. Скомканный, до жути медленный и нелепый в своей простоте сюжет делает эту игру невыносимо долгой и безмерно утомительной. Первая половина игры могла запросто закончить игру, не предоставляя игроку "наслаждения" созерцать вторую сторону конфликта, или же, можно было совместить оба повествования. В итоге мы имеем путь в 12-15 часов, а потом примерно такой же путь на те же 12-15 часов. Концовка - просто идиотизм. Если в случае с первой частью можно было довольно долго дискутировать на тему правильности поступка Джоэлла, то вторая часть оставляет после себя послевкусие высказывания капитана очевидности и оставляет игрока неудовлетворённым. Единственное, чем действительно может похвастаться игра - графика. Свистопердящая ПС4 еле справляется с получаемой нагрузкой, местами фризит и гудит как паровоз. В следующий раз, когда вас спросят, почему ПС делает пососалово, приведите им это в пример. Консоль, которая не тянет игры - это мощно)

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. As to be expected from Naughtydog this game is absolutely gorgeous graphically and environmentally. I wont spend a lot of time talking about this because I dont think anyone could doubt this aspect of a naughty dog game. Although none of this games relationships shine near as bright as Joel and Ellie's in the first one, I find their are just too many positive moments for that alone to ruin the experience. At first I was not excited to play such a large portion of the game as Abby, the absolute unit of an antoganist. After a while of assuming her existence as being pure evil, I began to realize her motivations were just as justified as any of Joel and Ellie's. This game took the conflict you felt when pulling the trigger that killed the doctor in the original game and spread it out through an entire campaign. I think the reason so many negative reviews are coming out is because of an emotional bias to Joel and Ellie and having to truly accept that the strength of their relationship does not truly justify all of their actions. By the end of Abbys portion of the game, i was attatched to the pure badassery of her being but not completely sold on her as person. Although I wasnt sold on her as i person I was sold on her motivation and ready to fight for what she was fighting for. Between scenes of disturbing moral imperative the game slips in flashbacks, that do a wonderful job of bringing you back down to the root of what you are doing and why you are truly doing it. Between each of these cut scenes the game delivers a beautifully refined amount of gameplay. The gameplay itself is beyond enjoyable and is crafted in a way that allows you to create your own experience. Each segment of gameplay felt like a cinematic experience in its own rights. It was a huge improvement from the first game in this regard. Another thing this game did better then the original was create absolutely remarkable, adrenaline inducing expriences both in cutscene and beautifully crafted cinematic gameplay. Not to say the original didnt have these experiences but part 2 just delivered it in a way that truly had my heart racing. Every single time i felt like I might not be able to continue, the game delivered a perfectly timed cut scene and although I never knew what point in time or what character the cut scene was going to bring me to, it always did an amazing job of grounding me and giving me the motivation to keep moving forward. This game is Dark, chaotic, repulsive, beautiful and capsulating. It delivers an experience that rivals the excitement and sentiment of the first one and after finishing my first play through I am ready to jump right in to my second. Dear god where do i begin, im giving the game a 3/10 mainly due to story which may be unfair, i loved the graphics and mechanics and how much more things you could do relative to the first game but the story was harsh, i expected joel to die but that was still a heart breaking moment, Hunting down abby and her group was a given and i enjoyed alot of that part of the story i also loved the relationship between dina and ellie. Now on to my issues, i hate how naughty dog forced us to play as the character who murdered joel that just felt so wrong i wish i could change it and not only that but after the fact we lose so many along the way and ellie still decides to leave what she has and go after abby, to then let her live. The one thing i was gripping on two before falling into the pit of unfair hatred was a lingering hope ellie would go home and be welcomed by jj and dina but for the last time my heart got shattered and we are left with nothing at the end. Also that scene with joel which is obviously only put to make you feel worse as you could tell ellie and joel were just beginning to salvage their relationship when he died. And after this wall of text i feel if you buy the game and are ok with disregarding story then i believe its a very worthwhile buy but if youre a die hard last of us fan, prepare your heart to be shattered 10 times over.… Expand

    As a long time fan of the original, I never thought I’d be so dissatisfied with this game to the point where I feel like it wasn’t worth the money. The story never met the standard that the last game set. Gameplay elements were improved upon, and the game looked great, but the story that I bought this to experience was nowhere to be found. It had a redundant and trope filled story that lacked the originality that I expected. I went in with an open mind despite everyone telling me it was a waste, only for them to be proven right. The people in charge of this story should’ve never touched The Last of Us. I would honestly rather have had no sequel than this blatant disrespect of the original characters. This doesn’t even deserve to be called a sequel. I was literally forced to play as a character that I felt a rich hatred for, and the people she encounters, for what? You could have showed her reasons for going after Joel and ended it there, and pick up with the version of Ellie that you left until the end of the game. Instead, you shove characters that I care nothing for down my throat for at least 10 hours, and throughout the game, most of the characters lack any real development. You even try to pull that “maybe we’re the real monsters?” crap. I see what you tried to do, what you think you succeeded in, but it just resulted in mass disappointment. Don’t look at low reviews and assume it’s just haters, many of us are real fans that hate that we have to review the game like this. We genuinely care, unlike whoever wrote the plot line.     2:The story also undermines what the first game did with its characters just to be subversive
    3:Game also throws lotsa "Why are u so bad?" and other undertones when you kill enemies who attack you while not giving you any choice to not defeat them. This also ties back to Ellie not killing Abby, but being absolutely okay with killing hundreds of other people just to get to Abby
    4:The game's focus is also taken away from zombies, now just going with "The real zombies were the people we made along the **** While it is common to focus in human relationships in zombie apocalypse writing and such, it shouldn't replace the setting itself.
    5:The anal sex scene. It isn't necessarily much of a point against the game, as much as it is against Sony and their laughable censorship rules with other games. "Showing skin is bad unless it is in our cinematic masterpiece where Druckmann's self insert gets to **** Abby"
    6:False advertising with flashbacks and such.
    7:Gameplay hasn't evolved much since the first game that came 7 years ago.
    8:The game is more of a single-viewing experience that doesn't use videogame format to its advantage at all. You can view it from side and not lose much compared to playing it. The interactive and choosing elements are almost non-existent in story, which is quite a problem when the story, voice-acting and graphics are the only things going for it
    9:It kills the last game's main character to be subversive and be shocking.

For about 50% of the game, you play as Abby, this character who, I suppose, we are supposed to connect with & feel sorry for — ya know, after she brutally murders Joel. I understand the story was showing us that there are two sides to everything & that what Joel done in the first game also had consequences for others, but his murder comes after he & Tommy are so kind to help out strangers who are lurking in the mountains? Joel may have warmed up to Ellie & eventually softened, but at his core, he was wary of other people & never let his guard down. So for him to end up in the situation that eventually gets him murdered (30 mins into the game) felt hollow. Which makes his death all the harder to deal with. So, we play as Abby, & for the whole game, I only wanted Ellie to finish her off. Her backstory that was overstuffed with parallels to Ellie & Joel's beautiful journey from TLOU felt like the game was forcing nostalgia & sentimentality down my throat to make me, if not like her, at least empathise with her. I didn't. Some parts with Abby as our playable character were fun, I do enjoy stealth missions, but this was also achieved with Ellie as the primary playable character. I heard the game was roughly 25 hours long, so I had huge expectations for the twists & turns this story was set to take, but in actuality it's the same 12 hour story from 2 different perspectives, the second perspective being one I had no interest in learning about until around 18 total hours in. I ended up somewhat curious about how the Seraphites started & who their prophet was. & I never found out. Maybe I missed something, some optional dialogue or some writings, so I can't completely criticise this chunk of plot amounting to basically nothing. Once Yara & Lev entered the story, I could see the direction we were headed in; a similar one we played before with Joel & Ellie. When we set off as Abby & Lev, it was too blindingly obvious that ND were trying instill a similar warmth in us, one that was cultivated through an entire story of learning about the unlikely pair that is Joel & Ellie. Maybe I would've cared more about Abby & her irritating friends if I had spent a whole game learning about them & being a part of a forming bond, but I wasn't. We are thrown into the lives of these people who we have nothing but disdain for after they kill Joel & expected to end up chummy with them after seeing a few thinly written moments about their friendship circle being loyal to a fault. This critique of Abby's story isn't to say I found Ellie's segment of the game completely without fault, however. I think it's amazing that ND managed to write in a bunch of new characters on the "good" side & yet, somehow, make them all so unlikable. Dina & Jesse, yes, you were poorly written. I have a particular pet peeve with plots, & that's making people pregnant for the sake of making a story more interesting. This game does it not once, but twice! Pregnancy is an easy way to add some difficulty to a story set in the middle of a post-apocalyptic world — & that's exactly why it was added. This peeve of mine is a personal preference of course, however I do find it lazy to throw in pregnancy for some shock factor. I can't sit here & say it was all bad. I cried a lot. Plenty of moments had me in tears. The downside to that, though? They were all Joel related. The museum flashback, his death, his conversation with Ellie at the end, that unfiltered, raw emotion that made me fall in love with the first game was back, if only fleetingly, since Joel exists only in Ellie's memory now. Despite loving these few & far between moments we had with Joel, the writing felt odd. I can't exactly place my finger on it. Joel felt very different & a lot of the scenes felt they were trying too hard to remind us of moments from the first game. Ellie & Tommy quickly became my comfort in this game, as I stumbled around with these unfamiliar & unlikable people, I pined for moments with them. Even when you are playing as Abby & you must rush to cover as Tommy fires a sniper rifle at you, I felt happy in the comfort that someone familiar was nearby. TLDR; if you have a massive attachment to the first game, then this game is not for you. I rate it 3/10. A 3 b/c the game truly is beautiful. The scenery & surroundings are astonishing and it is all so carefully crafted to create a beautifully torn world. A 3 b/c I had some moments of fun, Ellie's chapter in the mall was a defining moment for me, I loved everything about it, sadly those moments did not come often. I spent the whole game waiting for that sweet relief at the end, I wanted Ellie to finish Abby off, since that is what the whole story was about. We had faced countless trials, for nothing. Yes, they had both ruined each other's lives & they were "even" but, I still don't care about Abby.

    Disclaimer: I advise anyone who is interested in playing The Last Of Us 2, to consider playing the original game, It will benefit your experience immensely. Furthermore, let us continue.

    Upon downloading The Last Of Us 2, and preparing my PS4 hard drive for a 100GB haul, I couldn't help but notice all the poor user reviews, shortly after the game had released. I thought The Last Of Us 2 was being judged too early or judged wrongfully. I have played the entire campaign, searched for all possible extra dialogue, and cinematic moments. I hereby present you with my review of The Last Of Us 2.

    I will be evaluating the game based on the core elements of a presentation. Beginning with visuals, soundtrack, environmental sounds, minuscule details, gameplay, ending with an emotional reaction.

    Visuals: If we are judging The Last Of Us 2's visual presentation off of the previous entry, the lengths and bounds Naughty Dog stretched this game had my PS4 cranking out heat like an oven. The Last Of Us 2 pushed the PS4 to its absolute limits, given its 30FPS gameplay, even at a 1080P resolution. Furthermore, if we are drawing comparisons between modern triple-A titles, The Last Of Us is up to par with modern titles in terms of visual fidelity. The grand change I noticed was the world's foliage, and lighting system. Naughty Dog truly implemented a realistic lighting tone, with impeccable volumetric lighting, stable darks in lightless areas, and pure god rays to look at, as I was admiring the game's densely forested areas. Gameworld design I personally believe falls into the visual department, as it directly affects the way the player interacts with the environment, however from a gameplay perspective, it is easily as formidable; I will touch on that in the gameplay section. However, the new ways of exploring, and maneuvering about in the game world have kept some core components, yet in addition added new elements of discovery, by borrowing them from other Naughty Dog titles, Uncharted for example.

    Soundtrack: The soundtrack, in my opinion, was one of the main selling points for the original Last Of Us, Naughty Dog kept that in mind. the emotional, yet intense gameworld is invigorating with a complimentary soundtrack to assist in the delivery. Whether a subtly guitar is playing while you stride along an overgrown road, or the mad violin, and deep bass when engaging in a firefight, it captures your attention with ease. I found myself just stopping when traveling across this incredibly dense game world, to a simple look, and listen to what was in front of me.

    Environmental Sounds: I made the executive decision to separate soundtrack with etc sounds present within the game world, and for good reason, I might add. I was playing The Last Of Us 2 on a 75' 1080P TV, with a 5.2 system. The Last Of Us 2 is beautifully optimized for audio density, as holds true with its audio options for a deeper configuration. Furthermore, while traversing within the world, I found myself stopping frequently, to listen around me. Whether it was a bush whistling with the wind, a word building creaking with every step I took, or the horrifying clicking sound from behind, the sounds kept me engaged with what was going on within that time, yet caused me to get lost in my own amusement.

    Minuscule Details: I could see how this point could come off gimmicky, however for players who stop to appreciate the smallest of touches a developer cared enough to implement, this might be for you. I am a sucker for a tiny detail, whether it is how the grass realistically reacts to the wind direction, how Abby's ponytail changes the shoulder it folds over depending on her momentum and direction, or how stagnant puddles of water simulate a real-time reflection, relative to the way the player looks at the puddle; The Last Of Us 2 hands players these small, yet rememberable details in spades.

    Gameplay: Ah, gameplay. This is where Naughty Dog was wise with their executive decision about combat. Some sequel games attempt to alleviate the monotony of past games with all new combat, completely doing a 180 on past players. The Last Of Us 2 retains the prior games combat style, yet subtly implements new areas that feel organic, and natural to how Ellie would traverse an environment. The addition of new weapons, crafting recipes, upgrade paths, and foes to face; The Last Of Us 2 is a better version of the previous game Naughty Dog provided us.

    Emotional Reaction: This section will purely be my personal reaction to The Last Of Us 2 as a whole. To, attempt to summarize my emotions towards this game, I can not put it in few words, or words at all for that matter. Ones who had the privilege of playing the first game, we all remember how emotionally attached we were to Joel, and Ellie on their journey to save the lives of all. Naughty Dog left an impact on the world with their masterpiece of a game.    … Expand

    Don't spend your money on this. Play again TLOU1 and pray that this thing isn't canon.

    Easily the best game I've ever played. The human encounters are phenomenal. There are times when it feels as if you're playing against real people.

    I have read some of the reviews posted on this site before writing this and can see some valid points from some people. Getting obvious points out of the way, the game looks incredible.     I have read some of the reviews posted on this site before writing this and can see some valid points from some people. Getting obvious points out of the way, the game looks incredible. Particularly the emotions on the characters faces, it is clear that some effort went into this and It pays dividends. I have read some reviews that give the game a score of zero, based purely on the fact that Ellie is gay, and that Naughty dog is pushing some sort of SJW agenda on us. Personally I feel that these reviews should be disqualified immediately because of pure bigotry. Ellie's sexuality makes complete sense with her 'tom-boy' character and I don’t feel it is a stretch to say that she is gay.

    The main attraction with the game is the story. It initially comes off as a standard revenge tale but quickly establishes itself as a study on what revenge does to a person and the people around you. I have to say, this is probably the most violent game I have ever played. I have played games with more blood and guts, but the realism of the violence in this game is really confronting. I do however feel that this lends itself to the theme of violence and revenge in establishing the tone. My only real complaint with the game’s story is its length. This is a long game and towards the last third of the game, I was keen to just see the rest of the story and not keep doing the sneaking and stabbing that is basically the only way to play the game on higher difficulties. Despite this complaint, if you cut out any significant part of the story, it would lose its emotional gravity.

    The game plays much like the 1st, this is really obvious if you just finished playing the 1st in anticipation of this game. What is great is that it maintains the gut-wrenching tension of the first game. There are probably half a dozen times I remember my heart absolutely racing with dread and the feeling like I was being hunted and only just surviving. The rest of the game is very repetitive by the last third of the game, you could make the argument that this was intentional by Naughty Dog to add to the game’s themes, but from a gameplay perspective, the game lost its novelty by the last quarter of the story.

    I do feel that the game is still very solid. There is criticism of the games ending feeling pointless and that all the violence and killing was, in the end, pointless and destructive for nothing. I think this was exactly the effect the developers were after. For me, the story ends in a manner that drives home the point of the game and leaves its characters in a place where no sequel is required. Despite my criticism of the game, the overall story makes up for its shortcomings. It, by all means, should be experienced and enjoyed.    … Expand

    I am very disappointed.
    Yes graphics are nice, handling is sometimes so-so (esp. annoying in combat which the game can only present) but the story fall flat soon and by then the repetitive gameplay kicks in. It becomes boring and I had to leave the game many times for that. Played TLOU1 and thus loved to see Ellie and Joel in beginning but besides that it is just too bad. Never really    I am very disappointed.

    After the likes of Bethesda and EA it's official: AAA industry is dying. Corporate America is killing the gaming genre. And like in Bethesda ego's lie to the player base in order to sell **** No laws to protect me from that and/or to correct a sickening industry, which laws tend to do if they are present.
    Let's see what the Poles will do in November.... because America is in a real BIG crisis !!!

    We saw the moment when a masterpiece was turned into trash.
    It's nice to see the voices of the vulnerable reflected in the plot, but it's not something that should be done by destroying the plot.
    Seven years of expectations have been dashed.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
