    The last of us part 2 is such a dissapointment from the original.. Sure the game has technical achievements and looks stunning but the story is non existent and just plain stupid.

    This game just perfect. History is a roller coaster of emotions, where there is no right side. Everyone is a hero in his own story.

    Hay que ignorar a la gente que por moda y una serie de cuestiones externas al juego en sí lo están tratando de hundir, literalmente como SDLG. El juego está a la altura del primero. En lo técnico y jugable obviamente lo supera (pero esto era más bien una exigencia para la entrega), en lo argumental es cierto que no llega, no solo porque el argumento es más flojo (no así el guión o laHay que ignorar a la gente que por moda y una serie de cuestiones externas al juego en sí lo están tratando de hundir, literalmente como SDLG. En lo técnico y jugable obviamente lo supera (pero esto era más bien una exigencia para la entrega), en lo argumental es cierto que no llega, no solo porque el argumento es más flojo (no así el guión o la dirección que siguen siendo excelentes) aunque en parte también es porque ya se pierde la magia de la primera vez, de llegar de cero al mundo, ventaja que tuvo part I y que dejó la vara muy alta. Lo mejor que se puede hacer es ignorar lo que se anda diciendo y simplemente jugarlo o ver un gameplay si no se quiere o puede gastar el dinero. Este juego vale la pena, no lo dejen pasar por estupideces de internet.… Expand

    It's really hilarious seeing all the fanboys who denied the leaks now upset over the plot.

    Dated gameplay. Ok graphics. Laughable plot.

But good god the story direction, taking a beloved character that was built so well in TLOU1, guarded, necessarily cold but loving, an expert survivor who could pick out an ambush from a mile away - turning him into that? Hes not even the same character. That scene set the tone for the whole game and to make you play as Abby after the fact for a solid portion of the game? Its honestly so dejecting - and not in the way I felt when Lee in the walking dead died or Dom in Gears of War. It was a pointless death forced in the first 2 hours by a character you want us to sympathize with when we have no prior experience with them. It's hard to complete the thought at the moment but its just saddening that a story beloved by so many was used to push an agenda that it now has only hurt.… Expand

    This has become such a meme I just had to play and see for myself if all the hate was true. I played it without all these political agendas or hate and this is a 10/10 for me. The graphics and game play is truly a masterpiece. The story was okay for me. But everything else was masterfully done. While the gameplay was captivating enough for me to finish the game at least once I don't see myself replaying this game just because of the story alone. It was a poorly written mess that left a sour taste in my mouth like no other piece of media before. I will remember this game, not because I enjoyed playing it, but simply because I hated it that much. Don't waste your money on this.… Expand

No amount of lovely graphics, amazing work by the actors, sound design, and user interface improvements can change the fact that many things in this game just do NOT make any sort of sense. (I cannot be appeased by the addition of a dodge and jump mechanic when you brutally murder one of my favorite characters of all time).

    The Last of Us Part II attempted to try and coerce the narrative that Joel's death triggered an intense feeling of vengeance in Ellie and that urge for vengeance resulted in her losing everything and winding up alone (According to her; one of her worst fears).

    Why does the narrative of this game codemn Ellie for wanting to avenge her Father-figure and reward Abby for gaining revenge on her father? Surely, if the main theme of this game is about condemning hate and violence, then why is it that Abby, a character we have literally almost zero history with rewarded with killing Joel and avenging her Father, while Ellie, who has suffered the loss of many friends and the guilt of survival because of her immunity punished for wanting to avenge the only person who was like Father to her?

    What. Was. The. Point?

    It is quite clear that the intent was to make it appear that Ellie loses herself to her vengeance. In many aritcles about the game, the phrase; When You Seek Revenge, Dig Two Graves has been used, but I am quite curious as to why Ellie needed to learn this lesson and Abby was able to succeed in this regard. Why should I care about Abby? They do not even give me time to like her before she callously tortures and kills Joel (effectively robbing another daughter of her father).

    This could theoretically work, but it would take much more gameplay with Abby prior to killing Joel then Naughty Dog decided to do. Killing Joel within the first two hours of an almost thirty hour game is as illogical as some of the characterization and plotlines shown throughout this work. Perhaps it is not the best show, but given the character limit and for the sake of coherency, I wanted to make it rather brief and easy to follow.

    -Abby's father, Jerry Anderson, was going to kill a 14 year old girl on the off chance that there could have been a vaccine made. There was no quarantee this would work and if it did, how well would a vaccine be able to be made and circulate throughout the world given its current state 20 years after the initial infection and fall of civilization? Who is to say it would not be hoarded by the powerful and used as leverage.

    And was Ellie even aware that this would result in her death? I feel that's an important factor to make known to a person, especially as a doctor. Most of Ellie's dialogue going towards St. Mary's hospital indicates that she believes she will survive the procedure. Neither Marlene, Joel, or the Doctor allowed Ellie her choice. But we know why Joel did it. He couldn't lose another daughter.

    -How in the world did Abby and her group manage to track down Joel to Wyoming and how did they find out a man named Joel killed her father? Did she brutally torture and kill every poor schlub named Joel until she managed to stumble on the right one because Neil Druckmann decried it so?

    -How did Abby and her group travel from Seattle, Washington to Jackson, Wyoming and not suffer any injuries or deaths in their group to and from their destination? In the previous game, Joel and Ellie just barely made it to Salt Lake City and they both nearly died multiple times, as well as lost Tess, Henry, and Sam during the whole trip.

    -Why the hell would Joel and Tommy (two seasoned survivors trust Abby and her group)? Why give them the location of their settlement? Joel has been established as ruthless and cynical. Yes, it's been four years since the first game, but Joel spent 20 years (five times as long) as doing everythig he could to survive and has been shown to be resourceful and strong.

    -"As a hardened survivalist, Joel displays terrifying intensity, strength, cunning, and fierce fist-fighting prowess; he can perform fatal chokeholds, string combinations of hard punches, and other miscellaneous attacks with little fatigue or hesitance, and he has become adept to the point where he can out-brawl and overwhelm opponents half his age quite quickly. " The Last of Us Wiki. Apparently, the writers forgot this in their haste to put the main character of the previous game down like a dog and shove Abby at us like a replacer.

    I don't like Abby. Nothing will make me like Abby.

    As far as I'm concerned, the only Last of Us game is the first installment and the Left Behind DLC. Naughty Dog, you really screwed the pooch on this one.    … Expand

    The Last of Us part 2 is an amazing game, the combat and the way the weapons feel are superb. Ever bullet or arrow that you receive and dish out has weight. The design and sounds of the infected/zombie like enemies will make your skin crawl. The human enemies are interesting because they all have names. Sometimes it was frustrating when you stealth kill an enemy with a silent range weaponThe Last of Us part 2 is an amazing game, the combat and the way the weapons feel are superb. However that's the only negative thing about the combat in my opinion. My only other nitpick is that their was only one part where you could freely roam a large map. I originally expected several sections like this but another one never came. Obviously the story and acting is amazing. The ending was heavy. This game is a clear 10/10.     Then came the biggest middle finger when Joe, the main character of the first game, gets unceremoniously killed off and turned the game which was known for its story and it’s character development into a revenge story and Joe being relegated to your generic parent who kept secret from his kid and eventually die as a result of the secret. It was the character development between Joe and Ellie that made the first game’s story so interesting yet the game completely throws it away to tell a generic revenge story. Hope those woke points you got to guarantee a good review from critic is worth it because the improved graphic is the only other thing this game has to offer.    … Expand

Хочу начать с того что игра выглядит очень красиво геймплей напоминает 1ую часть (которая намного лучше чем эта а почему расскажу потом) но при этом добавились новые механики например прыжок, ползание и т.д. Поменялся и.и в лучшую сторону(поймёте по мере прохождение если уже прошли 1ую). А теперь хочу сказать про сюжет. Сюжет становится непонятным после финала почему? Сейчас расскажу. Основной сюжет начинается с момента где Джоэла убивает накаченная баба с клюшкой для гольфа и это всё на глазах у Элли. После чего начинается путешествие в котором мы убиваем куча народу чтобы убить убийцу Джоэла. Но в конце битвы Элли решает оставлять в живых Эбби(накаченная баба) и после этого получается что всё время Элли занималась хрен знает чем и что она сделала все жертвы напрасно потому что она цели не добилась но если игра дала выбор оставить в живых эбби или нет это сделала игру намного лучше. Но в конце был намёк на третью часть потому что её подружка Дина оставила её в одиночестве чего Элли боялась больше всего и после этого мы видели сцену где Элли идёт на поиски Дины. Мораль в том что насилие приводит к большему насилию. P.S забыл сказать про флешбеки Элли с Джоэлом и это выглядит прекрасно вот и всё.… Expand

Например: Пусть Оуэн не просто прятался, но и был бы ранен. Эбби узнала это, взяла аптечку и пошла в океанариум. По дороге её взяли в плен "шрамы" (забрали все припасы, включая аптечку). Потом, та же сцена встречи с Ярой и Левом. Они её спасли. Отбивались от зараженных. Но Эбби бросила их в опасный момент. Пришла к Оуэну. У него ранение в руку. Он говорит, что: "Это ерунда". Секс... Проснулась, почувствовала вину, что бросила детей. Пошла их искать, потому что идти не далеко и не опасно. Нашла. После перепалки с Левом, уговорила их пойти в океанариум. Вернувшись к Оуэну, увидела, что у него воспалилась рана. Решила идти в больницу за аптечкой, чтобы спасти любимого, а не Яру. Идут с Левом в больницу (Лев спасает сестру, а Эбби Оуэна). Во время пути они вынуждены помогать друг другу, чтобы выжить. Лев несколько раз спасает Эбби жизнь, а так же Лев оказывается хорошим «парнем». Возвращаются. Операцию делают и Оуэну и Яре. Яра и Оуэн до этого несколько раз ссорятся, а после операции Оуэн шутит, что они не такие уж разные (Оба теперь без руки). Лев узнает о готовящемся нападении на остров и сбегает, чтобы спасти мать. Яра и Эбби отправляются за ним в погоню. Эбби говорит, что не пойдет на остров и будет ждать в лодке, но приплыв на остров все же идет за Ярой. Находят Лева. Он дома, забился в угол и плачет. Мать повесилась. Оставила записку, что не может вынести позор из-за такой дочери. Лев винит в этом себя. Бегут с острова. Встречают одного "пса". Эбби случайно убивает его, защищая Лева. Это видит Айзек и еще несколько "псов". Стреляют в Яру. Эбби говорит, что она не предавала Айзека и все вышло случайно. Айзек кидает ей нож и говорит, чтобы она доказала свою преданность убив Лева. Когда Тонни уговаривает Элли поехать в Калифорнию и отомстить, Дина возражает, что Эбби их не убила, на что Тонни врет, что это он спугнул её и Лева. И так далее...     I truly did not enjoy this game at all. I don't see how anyone can claim this game improves in gameplay f the original. It has several sections that are just painful and at best it feels mundane. A few times I started thinking about other games like "Hey this is like a Metro game without any of the good fun aspects". At times I could predict the dialogue replies because it was so trite andI truly did not enjoy this game at all. I don't see how anyone can claim this game improves in gameplay f the original. I don't understand why people think there was plot holes everywhere and the backstory for Abby wasn't enough, I felt for her and I understood so much by getting to play as her, at first I wasn't so happy because this girl killed Joel! but in the end I understood why they did it.
    The ending made so much sense, the game took such a crazy turn that I didn't expect at all. but in the end it broke my heart. But i'm so happy I got to play it and feel such strong emotions from a game. It had the same mechanics as the first game which I loved, and the character development from Ellie at the end of the game was outstanding. I was on the edge of my seat playing this game and just wondering how it was going to end. I truly am so satisfied with this game. In my opinion, this game was a masterpiece.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. -I am at a loss with this game. From the written butchering of everything I loved about these characters, to the actual butchering of the characters I loved, to the complete loss of direction story-wise after the first hour of gameplay. What happened in the nearly decade long development of this game? Were all the original writers fired? Or were they overwritten by one man who thought he knew best, leading to a final season Game of Thrones situation that completely erased everything good that came before it.

    -Visually and audibly stunning, but devoid of anything resembling a redeeming quality beyond that. It is not only baffling but cruel to force the player to interact with what was a vibrant world through Abby, a character who's backstory and motivations feel hastily put together 10 minutes before the game was supposed to be presented as complete, after watching her brutally murder the arguably most complex character of the series, who was the main draw for players of the first game.

    -As for the LGBT themes that everyone seems hung up on. As any actual member of the community will tell you, if it's being forced this hard, you're probably faking it for the clout. Anyone with minimal skills of observation could tell that Ellie was likely lesbian from interactions and conversations in the first game, especially after the heavy obviousness that came in the DLC. So to overplay it and make it a constantly recurring theme and focus seems obtuse and forced. A person's sexuality is organic and who they are, not an add on that exists as a parallel to them.

    -Conversations felt unsettlingly robotic at times, there was no driving force to connect with any new characters, who presented themselves more as paper cutout stand ins rather than new opportunities for connection and emotional exploration.

    -Mechanically it was polished if unimaginative, drawing on expanding the capabilities of the platform on hardware level, and it shows how much focus that drew due to the complete and utter lack of any human connection anywhere in the game.

    -TL;DR This sequel is the runny disappointing sh*t after the best thanksgiving dinner of a first game you've ever had. Even the most highly polished turd is still a pile of sh*t. Flush and forget.    … Expand

    Well Time to finish this mess. well i already finished TLOU2 And i have to say all the bad critics are pure Haters, Homophobes, XBOXSERS, and other community's, The Game is a very good game, GOOD SOUNDTRACK. The History clears the doubts, of the past. Showing it from 2 perspectives. and new enemies, AI intelligence and i finished the first playtrought on Survivor and i explored a lot.Well Time to finish this mess. well i already finished TLOU2 And i have to say all the bad critics are pure Haters, Homophobes, XBOXSERS, and other community's, The Game is a very good game, GOOD SOUNDTRACK. There is lineal encounters, and semi open maps, to give you liberty, and a cool vertigo felling on the highs. the only thing i disliked it was the amount of repeated NPC OF INFECTED,S AND SOLDIERS, THEY HAVE ALL THEIR OWN NAME BUT. A 4 is probably the most accurate rating this game deserves. The good parts:

    -The music is incredible. Their music composer, Gustavo Santaolalla, the same person that made the first game’s music, is a genius. The music is very emotional and aids what’s happening on the screen perfectly. -The sound design is definitely pleasing and not unrealistic in the slightest. Everything, even things you wouldn’t expect to have a sound have one. They’re very crisp and make the game that more enjoyable. Sound is a huge factor in a game, and in this one it’s fantastic.

    -The graphics are nothing short of beautiful. The textures are realistic and very lovely to look at. The look of the characters are the most believable I’ve ever seen. Definitely some of the best, if not THE best graphics right now. -The atmosphere is outstandingly well made. Being in a city, traveling through a forest, being underground, and traversing through abandoned buildings are just a few examples that are authentic to real life. Nothing is worse than not being immersed in a game. This one does it perfectly. -The animations are the best you can find at the moment. It’s incredible how much work was put into perfecting the animations. There can be so many different animations for one action, it feels so nice to play. The way the characters move and overall feel is extremely realistic, I never once doubted it.

    -The level design is easily the best on the market. Every single scene is different. The insides of buildings to the forests are so well detailed, you can tell how much heart and soul they put into it. The variety of structures and areas to explore is outstandingly well crafted. It’s a huge breathe of fresh air and very fun to explore. -The acting is better than most movies. I said it. The actors Naughty Dog hired are extremely talented. Mainly Ashley Johnson, aka Ellie. She needs to be a main character in a movie, c’mon! The game’s cutscenes are honestly like watching a movie too. Their screams, cries, and overall tone of speaking is perfect for what’s happening on the screen. Easily the best acting in a video game to date. -The versatility in the gameplay is fantastic. You can use so many different items at your disposal to utterly destroy your enemies, or sneak right past them as if you were never there. The choice is up to you. You can go prone, cut through tiny sections in the walls, and jump across platforms. It feels very smooth and grounded, and there never once is a dull moment in the middle of battle.

    -The enemies are so well programmed, they feel real. The things they say and how they approach to killing you is great, and very stressful at times! This includes the infected enemies, not just the human ones. -I didn’t encounter one single bug throughout the entirety of the game. Bugs and glitches can really break the immersion in a video game, believe me. Thankfully the testers knew what they were doing and made sure the player never encounters them. Can’t say the same for a lot of other games.

    -This game is 30 hours long. That’s very good for a story driven game.

    Now, with all these pros, how could this game possibly be a 4? Here’s how:

    -The story -The characters and the development of them. How could such a minimal amount of things possibly make this game THAT bad? I ask myself the same thing. How, after all those pros, Naughty Dog managed to mess up the most preordered Ps4 game of all time? It’s simple. A bad story can break a game. A good story can make a game. Unfortunately, this game has a bad story. The entirety of the first game, we’re spent bonding with Joel and Ellie. They are what MADE the first game. The story in the first game is arguably one of the best ever made. In this sequel, their relationship is practically thrown away. The potential this sequel had with such legendary characters like Joel and Ellie could’ve made this game go down in history like the first one, too bad their relationship is not even utilized. Joel is basically a side character in this game. The execution of some scenes were very, very poor and simply mediocre at best. It’s hard to describe the bad parts of this game without spoiling anything, but I’m trying my best. How some characters act is completely and utterly unrealistic to this world and to them, which totally breaks the immersion and your heart at the same time. 40% of 30 hours is the amount of time you’re spent playing someone you absolutely hate. Let’s not forget the ending. The ending is easily the biggest part of a game. If you screw it up, you screw the whole thing up. That’s what they did. It’s so unsatisfying and disappointing, I cried from how much I disliked it. My heart is aching.    … Expand

It goes well till the 2nd half where you take control of another character who is not as interesting as Joel or Ellie. It is interesting to see the world from another point of view but this character comes off shallow as do her companions minus the dog. I love how the world has ended but trans rights need to be talked about. It killed the immersion because it feels forced and not natural. Just like the build of the 2nd character but it is what it is. I like the new infected types but you didn’t fight them enough. With the new more out there types it makes me excited with where they may go with them in the future. Combat felt the exact same as the first minus the dodge. Naughty dog isn’t known for its super deep gameplay but more so about how it brings gameplay and story together. In last of us 2 the story is strong but not the whole time and gameplay hasn’t improved very much. Forcing your political opinions regardless what side of the aisle you are on is something I’m not a fan of. Iv seen this compared to episode 8 of Star Wars and that is a fare assessment. Also the glitches. With all of this I don’t understand all the high scores but there is some good stuff here but we also have equip parts bad so to ke a 5/10 seems fair.… Expand

    I've almost cryed for the frustation on the bad ending, on the disrespect for the characters, ruinning the best story of the past decade.
    Trating Joel like he was a little innocent kid, and killing him in one of the worst deaths ever on any videogame. the story is fuc*ing s**** and isn't TLOU.
    Forzing the player to empatize with Abby and then forcing to kill Ellie, this is not right, and is unnacceptable
    The gameplay was very good anyway, the new mechanics added fine to the game. we got more exploration zones, some kinda very easy puzzles, and big scenaries. However was a little bit repetitive fighting against humans, or undeads, again and again

    Conclusion: Don't waste 60 euros on this, please...

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Escribo este análisis dejando claro que The Last of Us me parece uno de los mejores juegos que he tenido el gusto de disfrutar en toda mi vida, una bestia.

    Ahora bien, no vengo a valorar eso, si no The Last of Us parte 2 o la continuación de historia que posiblemente a MI como jugador no me hacía falta ver, voy a intentar exponer por separado sus partes:

    - Narrativa / Historia: La forma de interconectar las historias que van sucediendo a través del juego me gusta, mucho de hecho, el problema viene en como empieza, con la decisión de Joel en el final del primer juego, no querer sacrificar a Ellie en favor de la humanidad y por supuesto lo que la mayoría de los que han sentido la historia entienden a Joel, no digo que hubiera sido lo correcto, si no si simplemente entedemos su decisión. Por supuesto la cosa comienza con que el personaje ""villano"", Abby, no aparece en el primer juego y SORPRESA, es la hija del cirujano que iba a operar a Ellie, si ya para querer contar una 2º parte necesitas introducir SI O SI un personaje del que no se sabe nada en el 1º juego para que esta continuación tenga sentido (o al menos asi lo creían en Naughty Dog) pues va por mal camino, muy malo.
    Te gusta Joel? Simpatizas con el? Pues cojonudo, le van a estampar la cabeza nada más empezar el juego de forma rastrera y asquerosa mientras a su vez ayudó hacía 10 minutos a la persona que lo mata, a mi esta decisión no me gusta, pero no es el problema, el problema es que como jugador te van a guiar por ese camino desde el principio y no vas a poder decidir nada.
    Diréis, "ostras en el primer juego cuando rescatas a Ellie no lo decides tú", cierto, pero eso pasa al final y donde un personaje que has llevado TODO el juego y lo ha PERDIDO TODO sientes que se merece tomar esa decisión, en cambio aquí aparece alguien queriendo vengarse que no conoces de nada, se venga y tú vas como un loco a querer devolvérsela, pues no también, el juego frenará y frenará hasta que te lleve la inercia más que la propia ira, el motivo? La venganza está mal y pierdes más de lo que ganas, pero es que eso ya lo tienes claro en un principio y que no todos los grupos que salen en el juego son o han sido malos siempre, eso también lo sabemos, lo que no podemos es pretender llevar un objetivo en el juego muy claro todo el rato, y luego ni te den la opción de elegir.
    Da esa sensación de que Ellie merece o una de 2, vivir con la muerte de Joel y llevarlo como pueda, o matar a Abby y de nuevo, vivir con la muerte de Joel y con su venganza, en mi caso lo tengo claro, final cuando vas a la granja por primera vez, y decidir si quedarte o no, o que sencillamente se quede y ya está, pero irse, no consumar su venganza y simplemente volver para ver que ha perdido más todavía, Ellie no merece un final así y Joel no merece un principio de 2º parte así.

    - Visualmente: Una bestialidad, lo mejor que se ha hecho en este apartado (con diferencia) en esta consola negra como el azabache, pasemos a lo siguiente.

    - Banda sonora: No puedo entrar mucho en detalle ya que desconozco bastante del tema, pero tengo que decir que a pesar de intentar introducirla más en este juego, la he notado más potente, más dura de escuchar en el 1º juego, te ponía los pelos de punta lo bien que la cuadraban en esos momentos concretos, en este no he llegado a tener esa sensación.

    - Jugabilidad: Es el mismo The Last of Us de hace 7 años con pequeñas mejoras, pero en esencia lo mismo, en 2013 estaba muy bien, ahora quizás con las 20 pico horas que dura el juego se hace un poco "limitado" debido a que hay MUCHOS más enfrentamientos.

    Conclusión - Merece el logo de obra maestra que estoy viendo por ahí? Ni de lejos, para mi, de 7,5 si le tuviera que poner una nota y no dejo de pensar que si simplemente el juego fuera de Abby, su grupo y las historias que desarrolla con ellos pues el juego me hubiera gustado más porque tienen su propia trama aparte pero da la sensación de que los protagonistas del primero tenían que salir si o si, al menos a mi me ha pasado eso.
    Me parece un mal juego? Para nada, me lo he pasado de carrerilla este fin de semana, lo he gozado y lo volveré a pasar seguro pero esa carga que traía de lo bueno que fue en su momento The Last of Us pues se hace muy pesada de aguantar para esta 2º parte y me apena decirlo.    … Expand

The creator (smash that early life fam) hated how much everyone resonated with the white male father being the hero, so he set out to to destroy everything he made in the first to subvert it. Whereas the "bad guys" were zombies, anarchy, and oppression, now they are order, gender norms, and Joel.. The original was a touching story of a budding father daughter relationship and overcoming PTSD, that was quite literally the only video game that mad me cry. Look even if you're "liberal" understand the overt political and racist message along with a terrible work environment caused multiple people to quit mid development and others to leak the insane details in hopes they would back down.

    I cannot stress this enough the bad guys are evil white Christians, and a transexual Teenager with a golf club, this is one of the most ridiculous presentations of a game ever.    … Expand

    Gran Tec demo increíbles gráficas, gran ambientación, incluso sonido pero pésima historia, y no tiene nada que ver la protagonista no lo LGBT simplemente es un mal guion, deprimente y cansado.

    Espere 7 años para que arruinaran este juego me siento defraudado ,pense que joel iba a morir pasando la mitad del juego y lo terminan matando a las 2 hs del comienzo ,no se merecia este final horrible ,para mi no se tendria que haber hecho la segunda parte

    TLOU2 is a Game with amazing graphics and fun gameplay but with an awfull story,very bad character writing and a non-existing character development and one of the worst ending in the history of gaming.
    Its a shame that ND realy published this game as an Sequel of TLOU and made the year 2020 even worse for me.Should be called ,,The Last Game of Us“!

Niestety fabuła reży i kwiczy śmielć Joela po trochę ponad 2 godzinach gry to kpina, Abby nie miała prawa zabijać Joela w ten sposób on nie torturował jej ojca przed śmielcią a ona sama wiedziała dlaczego zginął. A już zakączenia to istna paranoja mogli zakończyć na tym rozdziale gdzie ellie mieszka że swoją dziewczyną i wychowują razem dziecko wontek tropików według mnie był zbędny.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I finished the game yesterday and had been waiting in anticipation for this game for months. The hype was real. Naughty Dog has the reputation of making magic with video games and I'd hoped that TLOU2 would be a masterpiece too. The game starts off slow with rustic guitar piece all familiarising you with the setting that this is based in. Humanity has survived and they have build settlements with electricity and other niceties, life seems to go on within such settlements oblivious to the ongoings of the outer world. Jackson is one such community. Joel and Ellie live here with other support cast (Tommy, Dina and Jesse). They are estranged owing to what happened in the first part. Yet they have some fondness for each other. Joel is killed off almost immediately by Abby in spite of the fact that he just saved her (Motive : Abby's father was killed by Joel while trying to rescue Ellie from the hospital). Yet I'd have preferred some empathy for a man that just saved her life. Also it was anti climactic to see Joel being so naive and walk into a trap. This sets Ellie on crazy revenge path. They (Ellie, her girlfriend Dina, Tommy and Jesse) go to Seattle separately and start knocking WLF numbers down. WLF is the group that Abby is part of. They kill of Abby's friends and this ticks Abby off and she kills few of Ellie's and just about the time she is to kill Ellie (15 hours into the game), we are set onto Abby's flash back (Frustrating). The game now forces us to relive what Abby was doing for three days when Ellie was killing her friends.This is a solid ten hour nightmare with a person that you have been bought to hate. Extremely inconsequential stuff with random NPC's added (Lev and Yara), you do fetch quests for them, forge relationship with Owen (Teenage sweetheart who is married) and manage to survive while being an outcast from WLF. Also by the end of ten hours you don't start empathizing with Abby but are rather focused on getting over the tedium and completing the game. The gameplay mechanics while upgraded (jump, prone, rope usage etc.) are nothing to write home about and the shooting is exactly the way it was - clunky. The animations are fabulous and so is the art direction, the game looks like every last ounce of PS4 Pro's graphical prowess has been extracted There are wide open spaces which are awe inspiring and beautiful. You'd be able to visualise the nature in all its glory. However every destination needs you to enter a dingy dark building filled with infected, use the environment in some twisted way or fight random group of enemies. I used to dread when the game required me to go somewhere which was more than two blocks away. The stealth works just till it doesn't and the enemy AI is laughable. Now since you have put 20 odd hours (10 of them as Abby), you really need a fantastic climax to make it worth it. But to our dismay once we are bought back to present in the theater, nothing of that sort happens and an ancillary character Lev belonging to SCARS (WLF's nemesis) clan (had saved Abby's life) requests Abby to not kill Dina & Ellie and Abby agrees. Next off we are shown that Ellie and Dina are living the perfect farm life with Dina's son keeping them company (The game doesn't end here too).Tommy who miraculously survived getting shot, stirs the hornets nest by stating that he knows where Abby is. This sets off Ellie on one another mission (Noooooo). The game by this point feels drab and dragged by 10 hours. Ellie rescues Abby only to state that she can't let her go and they fight and finally when Ellie has the upper hand she decides to forgive Abby and move on. Now if this is what she had to do why did she make us go through the pain of playing for twenty five hours while convincing us that she'd kill every one of them. Where this morality came from at the most inopportune moment. The game has no real story arc and you'll not connect with any of the characters including Ellie. The game tries too hard to please everyone and also be a maverick/trend setter but forgets the core which got us to love part 1 ; that is story telling and relatable characters, everything else is just a fancy garnish.… Expand

    Graphic, Sountrack is really good.
    Gameplay and Enemy Ai improve so much from Part 1
    Explore is fun and meaning in both way

    Un estilo diferente ambientado en la vida real, la gente evolucionando y a la vez sufriendo por un apocalipsis, en tu caso que harías si estuvieras en ese mundo con tus familiares, el hecho de la critica negativa es porque no aceptan los diferentes cambios que se hicieron porque no aceptan esa "realidad"

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Refined melee combat, very satisfying visuals and sound. A lot to be desired story wise. Takes about 2-3 hours to get interesting as expected. Was really enjoying the story until 13-14 hour mark. Then I found myself rushing through the game. Missed a lot of resources that really hurt me later on. The ending was quite terrible, very disappointed there.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
