    While this game does receive some valid criticism, over half of all reviews were written within the first 2 days of release. TLOU2 was set up for review bombing by having their script leaked, and it feels many people made up their mind on hating it long before even playing it. Granted, TLOU2 had a lot to live up to after having such a brilliant predecessor, and definitely some story points felt lacklustre, but overall is a solid sequel. And to those saying the game is just trying to push an agenda - surprise! there is gay people in real life, and her sexuality is not shoved down your throat and I applaud naughty dogs representation. Also, it’s a zombie apocalypse, it’s not like she has a lot of choice.… Expand

    the game is quite good, without counting the graphics, the gameplay is very good at all times, the story at the beginning can confuse you but even so it is still a very good elaborated story, and those 23 hours of play, are wonderful the truth is a pity that this is the final chapter, I had my expectations and the game met and improved. I’m proud of this game.

РДР 2- скучнейшая и тягомотнейшая игра, которой все ставят 10/10, а тут стабильное перемешивание стелс моментов, отдыха и перестрелок почему-то вызывают скуку у дебилов. Ооо... Ну и конечно же сюжет! ЛГБТ- тематика, от которой все плевались тут не выпячена ни разу, кроме одного момента в начале. Вам ничего не тыкают в лицо и просто показывают отношения двух девушек. Если убрать поцелуй в начале, то это похоже на очень крепкую дружбу. А сюжетный ход в середине... Да, с геймплейной точки я понимаю недовольство игроков, но с точки зрения сценария и стории всё отлично. Это почти уникальная история. На такое не решался никто и драматургия от этого только выигрывает. Это сложная, тяжёлая, болезненная драма, которую игрок должен прочувствовать и понять каждого персонажа, который фигурирует на главных и второстепенных ролях. Это круто. Это смело и для кого-то спорно, но очень сильно и смело. Ставить за такую продвинутую с точки зрения геймдизайна игру три балла потому, что ты не понимаешь отличную мысль- стыдно.     I don't have words for this game..it's a masterpiece on technical level..a whole new benchmark in gaming..I'm happy that i bought a PS4 instead of Xbox..i can just simply tell..just play this game..it's a whole new experience...this game is totally worth every single penny you have spent on it..or even more than it..Happy Playing this game.

    Absolutely incredible. One of the best games of generation. Story, gameplay, visuals... The only thing I don't like is a generic modern post apocalyptic setting.

GAMEPLAY - TLOU2's gameplay is AMAZING, In every encounter with the Scars, Wolves, or Infected your choices truly matter as your resources are very minimal encouraging players to really play smart. Players who explore are rewarded greatly with pieces of story, or items that come in handy. GRAPHICS - The graphics in this game are probably the best the PlayStation has to offer in terms of realism. STORY - In this game we follow the journey of two different protagonists Abby and Ellie both in their own path of revenge. In the first hour or so of the game we watch as Abby brutally tortures and kills Joel as Ellie watches, and the story seems to have established Abby as the antagonist. The game constantly has you play as Abby in hopes of you sympathizing for her by seeing her side of the story but ultimately fails. The game's final mission has you hunting Abby after receiving a lead that she may be in Santa Barbara, but before she leaves she is given an ultimatum to move on and live with her new life or to dwell in the past, and ends with Ellie's own self-destruction, gaining nothing and losing everything she ever had. OVERALL- This game was heartbreaking to play not because it was bad but because of amazing it could've been and how it played out. And when I finally reached the ending of the game it didn't feel deserved, it didn't feel right. This is my first time writing a review on a game, thank you to anyone who read it!… Expand

Just cause I’m the walking dead Glenn died doesn’t mean I de-nounce the whole series. This score is so low because of review bombing. If it wasn’t spolied I’m sure this wouldn’t have happened.     As a huge fan of the first game I was really looking forward to the follow up. I had my own expectations and predictions for this game and let’s just say it did not follow up on what I had imagined. No doubt the game is beautiful and gameplay is a better version of the first Last of us but the story did not do it for me.     In terms of graphics, this is state of the art. Very beautiful environments and scenarios.
    The gameplay is alright, some things could be improved but overall enjoyable. What really ruins this game, is the story. Never I felt so disconnected from the characters. I played the first last of us recently and I learned to love these characters and their interactions but    Could be a lot better.

Everything the old characters do seems out of character and unjustifiable, it ruined the whole immersion for me. I can't relate to the new characters at all, their reasons seem so unjustifiable and out of place. It's everything so unappealing that I found myself skipping areas and forcing myself through the game just to get to the ending.
    The ending could be worse but could be a lot better as well - just takes the meaning of the whole character development until that point.
    The main characters very badly written - Ellie is a shadow of what it used to be and Abby couldn't be more unappealing and predictable.
    The whole writing of this game is bad, there's a lot of scenes for shock value, plot armour, pacing issues and most of the story is flashbacks inside flashbacks inside flashbacks.
    The most enjoyable story moments for me was the interactions of young Ellie and Joel, which was made the first game great...
    I think the game could be a lot better if the line of the event were laid out differently - this would allow for more connection with the characters and now what drives them.
    I will not play this game again and I wish I never played it in the first place, I fell like this entry takes a bit of quality to the franchise.    … Expand

    I have thoroughly enjoyed the journey this game took me on. I was lucky enough to have avoided most spoilers before playing. Naughty Dog, once again, proves why they are among the best story tellers in the business.

    An emotional story filled with brutal moments, heartfelt and well developed characters that hooked me up since the start! Worthy successor of the first game! The game mechanics are very enjoyable and fun, you either go stealthy or guns blazing or both! The game didn't slow down for me too much! Is it a 10/10 I don't think so! That's why I'm giving it a 8/10.

Well within 10 minutes of playing I knew I had made the right choice, I didn't watch any of the leaks, despite having some spoilers posted on every social media platform, I unfortunately saw a few. The way the story unfolded in    Loved every moment of this game!

The way the story unfolded in this game was absolutely masterful! I had so much anger at the start of the game, then it went through and tugged at every other emotion. I can honestly say that very few games can come close to what Naughty Dog have done. As always, the music was beautifully done and the graphics are unparalleled.

    Do yourself a major favour, stop listening to the people who haven't played it, and start listening to those who have. This game is a definite candidate for game of the year, and it is very deserving of that title.

Yea there’s some story elements I didn’t agree with but it’s also a great story if that makes sense. Gameplay and graphics are next level and the characters are great as well, the music is beautiful throughout the game. Hopefully the franchise continues withThis game is absolutely a masterpiece.     Le pongo un cinco porque el juego ha conseguido, como el primero, que me vicie de forma insana a un juego. Es bastante adicitivo pese a que su historia es una puta mierda, el guardado manual no sirve para nada, los NPC son casi todos un estorbo y poner cajones vacios rodeado de cajones que no se pueden abrir .

    Impossible to put a number on this game. I just want to counter this silly review-bombing event with my score. But I truly believe that this game does outstanding things. It may not succeed in every attempt at creating empathy for some of the characters and actions (more to digest in a dlc maybe?) but it does make you feel something rarely felt in other games.     Jesse: un personaje del que sabemos muy poco y que tenía la oportunidad de convertirse en un muy buen coprotagonista. Lo usaron para embarazar a Dina y se deshicieron de él.
    Dina: un personaje vacío, aburrido y sin desarrollo. Fue un obstáculo durante todo el juego, el peor personaje para reemplazar a Joel.
    Tommy: era el mejor para reemplazar a Joel, era hábil y el público lo quería. Lo terminaron dejando casi tuerto y rengo, desperdiciando casi todo el personaje. Lo mejor que se puede hacer ahora es sacar un DLC explicando su pasado.
    Ellie: sin Joel no es nada, incluso la llegué a odiar durante el transcurso del juego. Sus expresiones faciales son horribles, Druckmann sí que se esforzó para hacer personajes feos. Como dijo Tommy, una vez que ella tiene su vida resuelta se olvida completamente de Joel y decide no matar a Abby, aunque eso signifique haber matado a cientos de personas y haber arruinado su vida por nada.
    Joel: el personaje más querido y asesinado a los 30 minutos del juego. Parece que los guionistas se olvidaron del comportamiento de Joel en el primer juego, haciendo que se vea como un padre adoptivo autista y llegue a confiar en cualquier extraño que se encuentre.
    Abby: el juego trata de hacer que simpatices con ella haciendo que la controles durante la mitad del juego, pero no funciona ya que MATÓ AL PERSONAJE MÁS QUERIDO.

    Historia: es simplemente asquerosa, tiran a la basura el comportamiento predeterminado de los personajes del primer juego y reemplazan a Joel con personajes aburridos y/o que terminan muriendo.
    Durante el trayecto que hace Ellie y Dina tratan de desarrollar la relación entre ellas como hicieron en el primer juego con la relación entre Ellie y Joel, pero acá simplemente no funciona debido a que las situaciones son muy distintas. Al comienzo de la primer entrega, Joel veía a Ellie como un producto más que tenía que entregar, pero a medida que avanza el tiempo su relación llega a un punto en el que Joel arriesga el destino de la humanidad para salvar la vida de Ellie. En la segunda entrega Dina y Ellie eran amigas desde hace años, por lo que las cosas que se pueden contar la una a la otra son muy pocas, haciendo que nos enteremos muy poco de sus vidas y que el desarrollo de Dina como personaje sea bastante limitado.
    Los personajes deberían haber muerto varias veces... y no, no estoy contando las caídas y esas cosas, sino los combates. En el anteúltimo combate con Abby todos menos Ellie deberían haber muerto, Dina tenía una flecha atravesándole el pulmón y Tommy tenía un balazo en la cabeza, lo normal es que hubieran muerto desangrados debido a la incapacidad de Ellie de salvarlos ya que tenía un brazo quebrado y estaba en medio de una zona de guerra. Además, no tiene sentido que Abby les haya perdonado la vida después de que mataran a todos sus amigos. Ellie debería haber muerto después de que una rama le perforara el estómago y le hayan arrancado los dedos, pero no solo no murió desangrada y viajó durante horas a su casa, sino que incluso logró matar a decenas de guardias y derrotar a Abby. Como dije antes, a pesar de que haya arruinado su vida para buscar a Abby y que haya matado a 300 personas para vengar a Joe, decidió no matarla. La verdad es que esto lo comprendo, cuando se filtró la historia los guionistas tuvieron que posponer la salida del juego para desarrollar este final improvisado ya que a la gente no le gustó enterarse que Ellie iba a ser el jefe final.
    Sinceramente creo que los guionistas no sabían cómo mostrarnos cómo era la vida de Joel y Ellie después de la primera entrega (lo que todos queríamos), entonces decidieron contarlo con flashbacks (la mejor parte del juego) y usar todo el resto de la historia como relleno para no presentar un juego con una duración de 1 hora. Es decepcionante la falta de imaginación de los guionistas.

    This game is a masterpiece. I like that the game has new open World parts and is so big. The Gameplay is so smooth. I saw some Bugs but they are not the big Deal. If you like survival + Zombies and a good story than fcking play the last of us 1 + 2.

    The game itself is gorgeous. The story isn't that bad either - mediocre at best, but not bad. But the story telling itself, the spacing, the introduction of the characters is so incredibly HORRIBLE!
    This could've been a masterpiece if made differently. Let's just ignore all the plot holes and weird out of character moments and focus on the plot.
    First impressions are important. Now, what kind of first impression is "look at this new character, she acts like an **** and kills Joel at the start of the game, whoops. Anyway, you are supposed to like her and play as her in the second half!" Just awesome. Now imagine a game where the first half introduces you to all the new characters, to Abby, to the dynamic between Joel and Ellie, and you enjoy it very much. You can sympathize with everyone and you are very curious what would happen because the game is gorgeous and full of emotion and conflict. And then the thing happens - Abby kills Joel, and the player is already fond of Abby and feels very conflicted about the whole situation.
    Maybe it's just me, but this way it could've been more bearable.
    But no, the character writing and the story telling was horrendous. The time skips and flashbacks were very random and out of place and "too late". I basically hated almost everyone and didn't feel a thing during their very dramatic death. I despise Abby and her friends.

Never mind the SJW Abby who is built with the face of a 9 yr old in a 35 yr old mans body, the plot was garbage. Killing off the main character (Joel) in a way that doesn't fit his character, then playing as his killer is stupidity at its finest. The 1st game was great, it built up Ellie and Joel into two amazing gaming characters. The sequel then comes in and takes a dump on the 1st game, by taking Ellie and making her into something she isnt then taking Joel and killing him in the worst way possible. Idk if know where to begin with the ending, i mean wtf is that? Abby kills Joel, then Ellie decides to let her live? Why? There is no good reason.

    In short this game reminds me of what D&D did to the last season of Game of Thrones, except this was much worse. Side note i am glad i saw the leaks that spared me $60 f=of this crap.    … Expand

I have played this game from beginning to end and it left me disappointed and frustrated at the games marketing and the story it tell's as the game's marketing Joel in parts of the game where he is not in and killed his character of in an odd shock value way that could have been done better and then the games ending which leaves the game at an unsatisfied conclusion of Ellie's story. and leaves you wondering why the game was even made as it goes nowhere and it oddly reminds me of the new star wars movies and game of thrones season 8 which is not a flattering comparisons. inclusions this game would not be worth the effort or time you put into i suggest a different title from Sony which will be fun and well written.… Expand

    A terrible way to handle a sequel poor history and character development. Forced SJW/LGTB character insertion/development, it felt like a bad Netflix adaptation. Graphics and textures were nice. Controls felt off, bad QA the game had several bugs.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The mechanics, graphics, and animations of this game are actually phenomenal but what really makes this game bad is the story. There are multiple times were times where the characters try to set a theme for the game but the amount inconsistencies this game has in its dialogue, character actions and motivations make it hard for me to take this seriously. It feels like aspects of the plot were shoved in just to have something happen and not having smooth transitions or deep and complex motivations for the characters to discuss and act upon. I think if they changed the chronological order of the events of the game it would have been a better game. The game tries to use Joel as premiere shock value to just pull players into the story but it does the opposite. If they started with the motivations of Abby and her situation with everything that has been going on, the death of Joel would be in a grey area questioning whether or not Joel made the right choice with everything he has done and the people he has hurt; instead, they made the fanbase of the prior game immensely upset at the useless death of the beloved death of Joel. The flashback scenes with Joel should have been the game and the death of him at the hands of Abby at the end so the fanbase could at least have one last adventure with the duo. Overall, good mechanics good graphics but wheres the story at. This is definitely not the worst game of the year, but it is the most disappointing.… Expand

People need to understand that fairy tale situations and endings don't happen in a post apocalyptic world thats overrun with multiple forms of infected running around and relentless factions. Naughty Dog took some serious risks with the story narrative and I personally feel they did an incredible job. People will get killed off… Expand

    I just got the platinum trophy for this game i loved everything about it the story graphics gameplay are phenomenal i love the story told by the artifacts hidden throughout the game and my favourite character is Abby cant wait for whats next in the franchise

Es ist einfach um es klar zu sagen Perfekt und das einzigste was mich stört ist das man Abby in einem Teil des Spiels finde ich zu lange spielen muss und ihre Story mag ich auch gar nicht. Ich fände es mehr interessant was über andere Charaktere erzählt zu bekommen. Aber so oder so die Story ist eine 10 von 10 und die Umsetzung ebenso.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
