The last of us parte II è un opera semplicemente perfetta in ciò che vuole trasmettere, ci riesce alla perfezione, il giocatore proverà prima odio poi comprensione e dopo ancora rimorso per ciò che ellie farà, il gameplay è abbastanza semplice senza comandi particolari ma comunque tutt'altro che facile nei livelli di difficoltà più alti, cosa che comunque consiglio perché arricchisce il gioco in una maniera inaspettata grazie ad un IA superba.
    Ho notato solo che a volte ellie non prende perfettamente con mano gli oggetti ma spesso non ci si fa caso essendo comunque azioni di poco conto, per il resto nessun bug nessun problema di prestazioni anche su PS4 normale a parte il un problema a livello di rumore, insomma alla fine questo gioco potrà non piacere per alcuni fatti e temi trattati ma è impossibile non giudicarlo come uno dei migliori della generazione.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'm starting this review off by saying Part 1 was an absolute masterpiece, and a HUGE act to follow. Naughty Dog gave themselves a very tough job to follow this up 7 years later.

    And yeah don't get me wrong - the catalyst that started the journey for Part 2, left me in total shock and disbelief. So much so I had to ask my partner for an objective opinion that what I saw on screen definitely happened! But that doesn't make it all the more shocking and gut-wrenching, which is exactly what Naughty Dog were going for. It got me emotionally invested in Ellie's quest for vengeance

    The graphics and gameplay are a great improvement from the first game, but the message is clear. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" Look at what happened with Uncharted 4 - the gameplay wasn't too different, but everything from the story to the character development was excellent

    I like all the characters in TLOU2 - they are instantly likeable (or unlikeable as villains!) and they all have some humanity behind them. Even what Abby did, there was an emotional motivation for that happening.

    So this story won't please everyone sure. But if you think of it as a story that has been crafted by the minds of an absolute gem in Part 1, and not the story you had 100% planned in your mind for Part 2, then this is truly an outstanding game that can't be missed    … Expand

But I will say the ending was not what I expected it to be, and it made me not fond of it. Though, I definitely need a Part Three!     The game play was more of the same, but the story was AWEFUL.
    It doesn't work, it throws out what you liked from the first game and changed the story to be about some new "girl" that would sound better as a hypothetical fanfic

    Убили Джоэла и вас это так огорчило!? , так все правильно на то и расчёт мы должны желать мести, и мир жесток и все логично для нас в первой части Джоэл поступил правильно, а для тех кто был по ту сторону баррикад? Все привыкли что есть плохие и хорошие а тут вам показали 2 стороны и выбили всех из калеи. Самым сложным конечно было играть за Эбби(к концу её повествования проникаешься этим персонажем и принимаешь её) , но если бы не было части про Эбби то концовка бы не получилась. В общем получилась цельная игра которая вызывает кучу имоций и пришлось пройти через, отрицание, злость, торг, депрессия, принятие. И то что это вызвало столько эмоций у игроков доказывает что Дракмана гений. А как это сделано каждая мелочь которая показана у Элли дрожащие руки, взгляд, надрыв в голосе, панические атаки пробирает до мурашек. Я так думаю кто не согласен ваша ниша это танки и форт найт. Игра 100 проц только для взрослых тех кто понимает что хэппиэнды в жизни это редкость и за все нужно платить ,и не смотря на зомби и пост апокалипсис самая реалистичная игра.     The game is just perfect, it's wonderful visually and as for the story I don't even have anything to say, it made me question who I am, and for a long time I will still cry remembering. I can't think of any defects, this game really left a mark on me.

    Best game I have ever played and a PERFECT sequel to the first Last of Us. From the environment, animation, writing, acting and action, it is a clear example of what happens when pure talent are met with unlimited funding. "Must play" is an understatement.

    It's sad that people aren't giving this game a chance after reading the spoilers. I know it sounds terrible at first, but it sets up all sorts of emotions later into the game and I love that. I really enjoyed the storyline front to back. Gameplay was as great as the first one. It's definitely worth the $60!

Ellie est tous simplement badass. Elle fais des choix a des choix elle a des remort que l'on a avec elle. Naughty Dog a fais un travail de fou pour cette suite. La mort de Joël est un vrais traumatisme pour elle comme pour nous joueur. Enfin bref pour moi le jeu est le jeu de l'année voir de la décennie. They killed Joel and made him and Ellie the partial antagonist of the last game. Then even better, Ellie doesn’t even get revenge. At the end, she let’s Abby go for God knows what. And also, the LGBT agenda is fine by me, but this is not a place it belongs. Something can not have gay people in it, and it not be homophobic. I have met countless gamers online and talked to them about the push of the LGBT and they are hardily disappointed in this game. They are rationally disgusted with the idea that because of this age, everything needs to be gay appropriated. Like I said. Im perfectly fine with gays or trans people being a thing and having rights, but that does not mean you force it down the throats of people awaiting a game that should be Game of the Year.… Expand

    I have played neither tlou 1 or 2, but I have watched playthroughs on youtube. So I has a tlou fan have nothing to speak on the game besides from the story and characters associated with the game.     I think this was the best game I've ever played. The story was stunning and perfectly fit in the universe. The gameplay was as good as the part 1 and the graphics was really breathtaking. I don't understand the hate towards it. You should try this masterpiece

    I personally had a blast playing through this game. It is a much darker and grittier game than the first one. First of all, the graphics and the environments. Wow, just wow. From a technical point of view this game is a marvel. The attention to detail is phenomenal. I was really impressed by city skylines and distant vistas, character movement and the density of the vegetation.

    Second, gameplay-wise it has gotten a lot better. Ellie is extremely agile, and she can now jump, dodge and prone. It makes combat a lot easier. Enemy AI is also a lot better. Enemies work together and make personalized callouts to which you can adapt your own strategy. It's truly impressive.

    And then there is the story. Well, to be quite honest, I just decided to roll with it, and for me it kinda worked. I believe it was actually a pretty decent story. It's just that I didn't quite understand Ellie's careless attitude throughout her journey. Then there's the other point of view in which we play as a new character. At first I hated this new character because of her actions early in the game, but in the end I felt sorry for her. I actually believed her and think that some of her friends didn't deserve what happened to them. Overall it has some really great moments.

    If there's one major critism I have to offer, it would be the pacing. There is a lot, and I do mean a lot, of detouring going on just to prolong the game but in the end the means is the same. Ellie is almost at the hospital.... nope, she slips into the sewer. The new character is on the skybridge, nope, she falls off and now we need to fight through an infected building. These situations happen a bit too often. I think a shorter and more rounded 16-18 hour game would've been better than the 25 hours full of sidetracking. Other than that. This is a solid game and the devs should be proud. Best game ever? No, but definitely not as bad as some people claim it to be. I give it 8/10.    … Expand

    This game is an epic worthy of Homer! The story seamlessly goes from the most beautiful and heart-melting moments to the most harrowing and horrifying scenes only the environment of The Last of Us can present us with. Expect to scream, cry, laugh, rage, hope and change your thoughts about characters throughout this brilliant tale. Don't blindly sit on the hate train, this game deserves an Oscar!

The last of us 2 was such an amazing game the story was really good Neil Druckman said the game was about hate and revenge and he wasn’t lying, you’re just filled with hatred when you see Joel die but that’s Abby’s revenge for her father and Ellie is filled with anger and sadness for the murder of her father figure so she seeks out vengeance not letting anything get in her way trying to find and kill Abby, but Abby finds herself putting her life on the line for 2 former seraphites named Yara and Lev but also getting hunted down by her own faction the WLF, Yara dies leaving Lev without any other family and in Abby’s care and so then Lev is by Abby’s side wherever she goes and her protecting him as if he was family sounds familiar to tlou, but then she finds out all her friends are dead and it was mostly by the hands of Ellie and so they brawl out and having Abby escaping Ellie and leaving her broken and in the epilogue Ellie now has a family with J.J and Dina the baby is named after Joel and jesse, but Ellie still has ptsd and nightmares over Joels murder and one day A handicapped tommy comes and tells Ellie the whereabouts of Abby and Lev but Abby gets kidnapped while trying to look for the rest of the fireflies, and so Ellie looks for Abby and finds her broken and weak tied up to a pillar and forces her to fight by putting her knife to Lev’s throat and they fight it our once again and Ellie almost kills her by drowning her but ultimately gets a flashback of Joel and then Abby bites her 2 fingers off and she lets them go willingly knowing that she can be the better person so Abby leaves and most likely goes looking for the fireflies, and so Ellie goes home finding Dina and J.J gone and tries to play Joels song on the guitar but she’s unable to play with her fingers gone, the only thing that Joel can be remembered from but that’s also taken form her and so she leaves the guitar and walks away but the reason why Ellie was so filled with anger and vengeance is because she was starting to forgive Joel from not saving humanity but never got the chance to forgive him because the next day he was killed by Abby. I honestly say the story was amazing and I give big props to Neil Druckman and his team on this game… Expand

    The real problem of the game is the end, its no sense that Ellie fight with abby without guns and for this decision she loses 2 fingers, the fight is a copy of the final boss of uncharted 4 and the lost legacy where you only have to dodge and press square. I hope the make a DLC that explains what happen next : i want ti now where is dina, where abby goes and where is going Ellie.

Amazing game, amazing music and amazing visuals but has some issues in the story but not as bad as people make out. But, if you scratch under the surface of the story these issues become apparent, and some forced narrative is present. Compared to Last Of Us Part 1 its a 5 out of 10 but that was a hard act to follow no matter what, they did the best they could to make it unique but follow on.
    This is a really fun game (if you liked the first one) with a good story but one that is far over-shadowed by the first games story.
    I was gripped from moment one and was hooked until the end (even the second section which annoyed me at first grew on me), I was excited, annoyed, frustrated and happy. A game that can push such emotions on you is a good game and sometimes some of the questionable things characters do I think is done on purpose as they are meant to be humans with flaws that make mistakes and have internal thoughts we are no privy to.
    Just to put out there it feels more like playing a movie than the first with less player in-put but that is not a issue. I can see why this is not everyone's cup of tea.
    If you loved the first game you will enjoy this game even if its not as well written as the first. If you disliked or were unsure or just jumped on the hype train about the first you will leave this game feeling the same if not a little worse. Its not as bad as the salty reviews make out at very worse its a 6/10 at best pushing a 8.5/10. It has a good story and could of been a 9-9.5/10 if the pieces were placed in different orders(play it and you will understand what I mean. It could have worked a lot better, this is my main issue with the game.
    Note: Play on hard don't go in on easy or middle-ground this game is meant to be played on hard for best experience.    … Expand

    The story is good. It's not as good as the last game, but I enjoyed it. It's a tragedy. You're not supposed to feel satisfied about what the characters do or get. This game is designed to make you feel bad. If you don't like that, the this game is not for you.

    The puzzles have been expanded upon briefly. There are points where you have to enter specific combinations that you'll either find written down, or with scattered clues.

When I first started part two I knew I was in for one hell of an emotional rollercoaster ride, given the first one made me feel so much for the characters we grew to love. But I also went in with an open mind because we were playing from another protagonist's perspective, meaning we had to experience new hardships and thoughts. And I believe that naughty dog has done a very good job with this game, giving us the chance not only to look at the series of events from Ellie's point of view but as well as our antagonist Abby as well. The combat is very smooth in this game, every zombie attack feels real, every gunfight makes you nervous. The graphics were out of this world from the blood, sweat, and tears. To the environment, we encountered throughout the game. The small things in this game such as playing guitar or experiencing a flashback make you sympathize with the characters and long for simpler times. I'd rate this game a 9.5/10… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I spent 25 hours to finish the story and during I had mixed feelings. First the game get's you to hate that Abby woman from the depths of your soul and all of a sudden you have to play her story? I mean, what the hell, I don't wanna know her f***ing backstory I just wanna see the b***h bleed. So during the Abby part of the Story, which is the complete second half, I was constantly annoyed but hey, for the sake of the story I took it and continued. I have to say, I still hate her guts and wanna see her dead but in some ways I can understand her. She is on her own path of revenge, just like Ellie and I guess, that's what Naughty Dog's intentions were. To create an antagonist who is pretty similar to the protagonist but the way the story develops Abby is the bad and Ellie the good one. I'm disappointed that Ellie didn't finish her job in the end and practically lost everything. But not every game can have a happy end.
    On Ellie's part of the story I was super excited and it held up to it's promises. The movement of Ellie in comparison to Joel is better, the gameplay got a lot smother, I love the new skill tree, the fact, that Ellie has a knife made it way easier to move around infected and kill them where Abby on the other hand had to craft them. Totally legit, as a soldier to not have a knife on you, right *insert sarcasm here*
    I was impressed by the A.I. this time. Not the usual stupid moving patterns. The NPCs move like they're really on the look out, they turn their heads and realize when you're in their sight of view. It makes things way more tactic to move around them. But the infected are still pretty easy to trick and run around, even if they see you. You just circle around the room and use some throwables to kill them. Only the Rat King was really a challenge to defeat because of the dark and cramped environment of the hospital.
    The story itself blew me away. I had everything I expected...and more. So many emotions, especially when Joel died. I cried but on the other side I was so furious. I was driven by my own seeking for revenge.
    The graphics is really something. We don't need to discuss this, it's just mind blowing. During the game I made so many screenshots like in no other game ever. We have such a beautiful design and artwork in this game.

    Now for some other things people criticize. The violence being one part that's massively discussed about The Last of Us Part 2. Sure, there is a whole lot of violence but in a post apocalyptic world where monsters and men try to overpower each other and humans don't work together but also fight each other, there's a lot of space for violence. And with all the hatred and feeling of needed revenge it's not too much in my opinion.
    The relationship between Ellie and Dina. Why on earth are people complaining here? We live in 2020 and being gay is nothing to be ashamed of anymore. But still there are these homophobes who cry about every little thing between two people of the same gender. Grow up people!

    All in all I had a lot of fun, even with the Abby part of the story (still hate her though)    … Expand

I admit I was a little skeptical when a second chapter was announced, considering the last of us finished with part one. Starting to play it I changed my mind from the first minutes. Neil Druckman and Halley Gross were able to give us a following worthy of his name. A truly wonderful writing job. The game has been highly criticized even before its release, believing some facts of history wrong etc. I am referring to all those who say that history sucks. If things don't go the way we want it doesn't mean it's wrong or sucks. The last of us part 2 is an experience that must be absolutely lived. I would also like to congratulate Anthony Newman and Kurt Margenau for the direction of the game and to the whole Naughtydog team and family. Thanks go to the sound design department for all the incredible sound effects and finally to Gustavo Santaolalla for the incredible soundtrack and to Mac Quayle for all the other compositions. That's insane for a singleplayer game. Not only was it packed with content, it wasn't filled with something people are considering un-enjoyable. The issue here is people are reviewing a single character you really wanted to play as and it didn't happen. That doesn't make a game terrible. Is that so hard to understand? This game had everything that makes a game amazing. Good graphics and animations, no bugs, good characters, good story, and good content. Yeah I said good story. It was a good story. I played the game. It wasn't remotely equivalent to what some people are saying: "It's like GOT S8, or Star Wars" no it's not. Not at all. Game of Thrones had a fundamental issue. It developed characters through 8 seasons and threw out all of the character arcs. That didn't happen here. Characters did something bad and there were consequences. It didn't JUMP at us.     While the gameplay is not special but ok I feel like the story really hurts this game, I was hoping the leaks weren't true but unfortunately they were, they lie in the trailer about Joel's involvement in the game, and ending is vary anti-climatic and will leave you scratching your head wondering "Why?", it felt like a chore to finish this game.

Not to mention some of them are just plain homophobic. Gameplay is solid with some of the most enthralling sequences in recent memory. Yes, the game does make a questionable decision in terms of story structure, with about 8-10 hours from the perspective of Abby, the main antagonist. It seems like the game wants you to care for her, but I never really did and found myself just wanted to play as Ellie again. Still, her section of the game is filled with some of the more memorable moments. I just wish I could live those with Ellie and not some random character I already hate 2 hours into the game.… Expand

    The graphics, world and gameplay were absolutely great. I remember playing TLOU1 for like third time just to watch the sights and postapocalyptic world. This time it's no different. The graphic artists did their magic and it's state-of-an-art.

    So now I can drop the bomb.

    The Last od Us is a story-driven game. There are no choices. There are no decisions to be made - and that's ok, as long as the story is good. This time - the writing was so bad that it did butcher the legacy of the first the Last of Us. Uterly-butchered-the-legacy. And they said that ideas cannot die.

    I won't be posting any spoilers not to spoil the fun(because You can still have some fun playing this game) for some people but the story is rubbish.

    Important moments being marginalized, some retrospectives, main characters we used to bond with senselessly slaughtered - without any backstory and understanding to it - and main antagonist being invisible till the very end. The story development is more like roaming the pseudoopenworld and... exploring. Because that's what drove me in that game. Exploring. Not story. There are no society issues pictured like in the first part. Nothing really shocking (yeah, they removed most of the brutality of the postapocalytptic world from the game), trailers were lies and... the story is just one huge plothole being kept with some very thin strings.

    Sorry Naughty Dog. I'm disappointed to an extent I can't even describe.

    Story-wise, I've heard a lot of criticism, but I have to be honest: this is a game that stands for realism. It is not a fairytale, this is a gruesome post apocalyptical world. People die, at random moments, all the time. I've often hated how you already know from the beginning which character is going to die because of the way he's profiled and positioned when introduced. This is a game that surprises you, it's pessimistic, it's sad, it's real: I love it. Haters will hate because they hate change, because they're conservative, because they want to feel good. But go play a Nintendo game then. In every sense of the word, this is a masterpiece.
    10/10 even seems undeserving. 20/10. 100/10. YES!    … Expand
