Eli broke it.. then Unbroke it.. then broke it again which made the second half pointless aside from a few missing fingers. This doesn’t include the fact that I never enjoyed playing as the person who murdered my favorite character.. Sloppy writing at best.. so yeah.. there’s that.

    Masterpiece in meticulous storytelling and technical achievement. Naughty dog should be so proud of what they have created, I just hope that the world realises it too when everyone starts to finish the game, and sees “Part 2” as a whole

    Excellent game! I love it! Is like next level for storytelling. The ones who didn't like it, maybe they feel better playing something like Valorant or less complex like this.
    Absolutely excellent, they are taking the time is needed to present a character and to narrate the game.
    But what I don't undestand is this, Dead Strading has 7.5 user rating and (I'm not saying is not a grate game)    Excellent game! I love it! Is like next level for storytelling. The ones who didn't like it, maybe they feel better playing something like Valorant or less complex like this.

This game definitely doesn’t deserve this kind of hate. The gameplay is fun and works really well. One small negative point for me are the few customization options of weapons.     I think what is more disgusting is all the paid for reviews by naughty dog to all these companies calling it the best game ever and we need to actually lean on the audience and youtubers etc to provide us an actual real opinion of this game. The game looks great, graphics are solid, but to me that is the bare minimum these days.     So I've been playing now for 12 hours and do not see why these people are talking so much **** Is it because Ellie is gay? Yeah we knew that since the first game. I enjoy the story i genuinely want to know what happens. I like the character interactions. The visuals are amazing I seriously cant find a flaw.     Naughty Dog just nailed it again by making the most visually stunning and immersive game for the playstation. Its hard to believe a 7 year old console still has the power to run such beautiful graphics with state of the earth gameplay. Easily the Game of the Year for me.

It does not add much to the already perfect ending that the first game had. Sufficed to say, the world-building is quite exceptional.     But there's no good reason to buy it for the story, though. You can easily watch playthroughs online and experience the game without having to spend full price for it; because it's something you (might) regret buying. You won't miss out on much. You can definitely save your money for a more worthy contender. Congratulations, Naughty Dog! You made another well-made albeit controversial game.     The technical aspects can be fine but without a compelling story tying it all together it all falls flat. Worth buying only after a huge price drop. The Last Jedi of Us is a disappointing exercise in neglecting your audience wishes

But anyways, I tried to give this game a shot even after the spoilers to see if it was going to be redeemable. Definitely was not redeemable. The entire story revolves around Joel's death and the Ellie's journey for revenge. But the kicker is after Joel is brutally murdered they force you to play as Abby (Joel's killer) in a ploy to make you feel something for her. But Abby isn't even remotely likable in any regard. But can you really like her after you watched her brutally murder Joel? This plot choice alone makes you ponder wtf were they thinking throughout the entire play through. Then the ending is completely unsatisfactory and meaningless. Ellie goes through the entire story trying to enact revenge (even leaving her gf) to go find Abby and it ends up she just lets Abby go. Yup they did that too. Ellie basically murders most of Abby's friends and comrades in Joel's name only to let Abby go.... The tone also shift throughout the story where Ellie and Abby have dialogue where they're trying to talk things out but then suddenly start trying to kill eachother. This game is a mess. Shame on whoever wrote this garbage and ruined a beloved series. Naughty Dog's reputation is going to be severely tarnished after this big miss of a game. Oh and the Gameplay is the exact same as 2013 nothing was changed - the gameplay is some how even less existent than it was in 2013.… Expand

    The worst ending of a game I've ever seen, no payoff at all. This doesn't show what happens with a perpetual cycle of violence, it shows why Anita Sarkeesian shouldn't be too close to game writers.
    Graphics were good though, props to the great team behind them.

The swiftness of transitions, the satisfactory combat and tense and exciting infected was amazing to say the least. Spoiler ahead:

    I loved the difference between Abby and Ellie game-play and how the game was able to set me up and approach situations different with both characters based on how well I knew them and felt while playing as them.

    The only flaw for me was the ending, but it would be unjust of me to lower my rating because of that, because in-spite of that, this game deserves way more that 10/10    … Expand

    I played the first game a lot of times because i couldn't get enough of it and waited all these years to play this. Hope the writers had fun playing golf with the storyline. I strongly recommend saving 60 bucks for ghost of tsushima.

    I managed to avoid the spoilers heading into this game, looking forward to what ND were planning for Joel and Ellie. To say I feel cheated is an understatement.

One surprise though is that large parts of game are rather dull and there's a feel that the game has been padded out to make it longer.
    However....the story. It's terrible. The game basically tries to deconstruct everything about the first game which was so beloved without any redeeming positives, characters now make completely uncharacteristic decisions just to facilitate certain plot points and the plot itself has large holes in it. Its misery is relentless and the players are constantly forced to make decisions they don't want to only then for the game to make them feel guilty.
    I feel like I've spent £50 on a game for it to spend hours telling me off. The game apparently is about hate, the only hate I see is ND towards its own fanbase.    … Expand

I have no idea why they fired their old writer this game is so disrespectful to the first game by killing off Joel 2 hours in and you only get a couple scenes with him and Ellie before his death such a beloved character done so dirty. It’s too bad that great game designers have to have their work step on by Neil and his writers for making this stupid story that makes you uninterested and disappointed throughout the game.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The last of us parte 2 è il sequel che volevo. Tralasciando la qualità della storia che ovviamente si basa su un giudizio soggettivo, anche se io l'ho apprezzata molto.
    L'unica cosa cose che non mi ha convinto per quanto riguarda la narrazione è l'escamotage narrativo utilizzato da naughty dog per rendere lo scontro finale tra abby e Ellie alla pari, ovvero quello di far rapire abby dalle serpi.
    Riguardo al gameplay possiamo dire che c'è stato un sufficente rinnovamento. Giusto quel che basta per essere soddisfatti. Credo che basti questo per renderlo uno dei migliori e più divertenti gameplay che abbia mai provato, anche grazie all'ottima IA.
    Vogliamo poi parlare del comparto tecnico?
    Qui naughty dog si è superata, anche se ovviamente non essendo un open world è più semplice realizzare delle animazioni facciali così tanto elaborate e realistiche e un mondo di gioco così bello e affascinante.
    Uno dei principali problemi che non fa secondo me raggiungere l'eccellenza a tlou 2 sono i bug. Potrebbe tranquillamente essere un caso ma devo dire che i bug, almeno nella mia run, sono stati parecchi. C'è da dire però che i bug non sono quasi mai invalidanti, anzi spesso fanno più un gioco è serio e profondo, più quando accadono dei bug risultano divertenti. Ultima cosa: credo che assegnare uno 0, un 1 o un 2 sia assolutamente scandaloso. In più le critiche riguardavano tutte la trama, ma se si giudica un gioco in modo oggettivo non si può da fan di Joel del primo capitolo essere indignati per la sua morte e assegnare uno zero, solo perché la trama vi ha fatto schifo.
    In conclusione:
    Gioco maestoso, incredibilmente avvincente, divertente, profondo.
    Contro:
    Gameplay poco rinnovato

    The story line reminds me a lot of the Pain arc in Naruto Shippuden except it's much darker. The thing I didn't like about this story was the pacing where I felt it was a bit messy especially on Abby's side, too dragging and boring for most of the time. Gameplay, combat, graphics and music are really good and I have no complaints at all. Ok game some character motivesions espesialy at the end does not seam right i think the main reason people dislike the game is because joel dies so early.i personaly also dislike the fact that joes dies so early but after some time and espesialy when the game lets you play as abby and discover her pas i learned what the game is about it about the a revenge story and how far you are willing to go to avenge for the ones you love and the consequesties if you do so. I think its a cool new story consept that after ending the game made me think about it a lot.so yeah i like the story.so story aside the game had the most stunning graphics of the ganerasion they are even beter that RDR2 graphics.also it had ok gameplay… Expand

Не скажу, что игра идеальная и что всё в ней мне понравилось. Но всё это связано с сюжетом. Так как изначально занял сторону и когда мне стали показывать, то что я не хотел видеть и делать это немного не понравилось.     the best sequel to the franchise.. A must play.. a must have. You will enjoy every cut scene every dialog you will laugh cry and be mad.     It was a smart play all around.The landscapes passed during the game show the ruins of a technically-advanced civilization, and a world where the oceans have dried up, leaving massive ships scuttled on dry beds and bouts of extremely hazardous weather.

    Es un juego largo y se agredece ya que los juegos de hoy dia no dan tanto tiempo de juego, por otra parte el juego es muy lento y esta lleno de cinematicas menos algunos momentos puntuales de accion la cual son muy escasos. Tambien he observado que depende en que zona estes la calidad del juego va cambiando.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First thing first, the team that took care of the graphics is really talented and deserves more than this trash game, amazing stuff, shadows are perfect, lights are perfect, everything looks amazing, 1 point for that.

    Now to the grim part, don't even know where to begin, from the very start we see Ellie be an absolute **** to everyone, doesn't even feel like herself for most of the game, she felt human in the first game, now she's basically a cold blooded killer without emotions, arguably one of the best things of tlou1, the relationship between Joel and Ellie is completely gone, our beloved director spat on it just like he spat on Joel's dead body in his tasteless and **** cameo.

    Joel gets killed like a rabid dog within 2 hours into the game in front of tommy and Ellie, she shows emotions for about 5 seconds and then goes back to her emotionless state unless some flashback or ptsd is needed for the plot, in general everyone gets over terrible things super quick, just the time for the cutscene to end and its all good.

    After Joel dies, Ellie goes on a quest for revenge, the user can expect many hours of endless walking simulator and scavenging, absolutely no new mechanics in the game, some animations and minigames are exactly the same from the first game (death by clickers and generators for example)

    After the walking simulator part is done we see Ellie's actual original intent start to happen in the game, she kills many of Abby's friends in the process without thinking twice, she even gives the same treatment that was given to Joel to Nora, just with a lead pipe instead of a golf club. Around the same time we also discover that Dina, character that lacks of any background story or depth except having kissed Ellie while drunk, is pregnant and followed Ellie even though she knew she was, yeah yeah strong woman, really woke, right? no, just stupid, you'll lose your kid, putting another life in danger but its a game, whatever,

    We finally get to what seems to be the end, Abby finds them, kills Jesse in a second and then threatens to kill tommy, screen goes black and we switch to Abby's point of view of the last 2 days.

    For the entire time the game tries to make you feel bad about Abby, showing how good of a person she is even playing with dogs am i right? no, no one cares about her, never seen her before and doesn't have any background, all the player knows is that she tortured and killed Joel, no matter how hard they try, most people will hate Abby endlessly, I know I did and I also hated every second played as her, we get through some "side quest" shoved into the game to make it 2 hours longer about Abby, ruthless killer of scars, torturer of Joel, having a random change of heart and saving 2 scars and that's all.

    Back to the theater, finally i thought i'd get to play as ellie and.... nope, you must play as Abby, chase ellie and go in for the kill, tommy gets shot in the back of the head by Abby, somehow survives, Dina gets her face smashed on the ground by Abby and is about to get her throat slit when the scar kid Abby saved calls her name and everything is good, Abby leaves ellie, tommy and Dina alive, gotta make this game a bit longer am i right?.

    Speed through some happy family scene, bla bla bla no one cares and we get to the last part, the biggest let down in the game, tommy visits Ellie and tells her where Abby is, after a bit of indecision she pursues her, after months and months we finally get to the final showdown and... ellie doesn't complete her revenge, apparently, joel, the man who ruthlessly murdered an entire hospital and killed his friend or whatever she was in the first game, marlene, to prevent ellie from being in danger wouldn't have wanted Ellie to finish off Abby.

    the whole story doesn't deserve a single point and it also feels like political agenda, its clearly noticeable how the only white straight characters are there because they were in the story already, everyone else is either non white, gay/a lesbian/trans or both, i don't have anything against those categories but its it feels very unlikely that minorities would become majorities after the apocalypse...

    Conclusion: don't waste your time and money on this game, it's a total let down, druckmann just followed his own agenda and didn't care at all about the story or the fans, hopefully this is a wake up call for people about naughty dog.    … Expand

    Eu realmente não sei pq estão detonando esse jogo ele é literalmente oq vc viu nós trailers oq foi falado que ia ser literalmente tudo que eles falaram tá aqui e tudo é fantástico é uma história de vingança simples mas bem feita,e o gameplay é uma evolução do primeiro de muitas formas diferentes.
