    Si es cierto que hay huecos argumentales y cosas sin sentido dentro de la historia creo que naughty dog hizo un excelente trabajo.
    No merecen el hate que muchos usuarios le están dando. En fin el juego me encantó.

    Puede que mi opinión sea poco común ya que para mí la jugabilidad y historia del juego es grandiosa,los personajes bien desarrollados,obviamente los acontecimientos entre las primeras horas de juego son algo que no se esperaba ,pero es una historia fuerte en la que naughty dog dejo en claro la cruda realidad que puede pasar.

    This game is lush a beautiful, the new gameplay mechanics are very welcome, and it’s done a great job at being engaging. If you actually love the original you should love this. If you a butt hurt misogynistic homophobe there’s plenty of game for you that are devoid of anything interesting and human.

    A far cry from the first, TLOU Part 2 comes at an inopportune time for Sony with next-gen around the corner. The game is disappointing and weak from both a gameplay and narrative perspective. Coupled with their anti-consumer refund policy, this will be the last of Sony for me for some time.

    Good move Naughty Dog, killing the iconic character of the first one to stage the lgbt community was a shot in the foot, I think there were much better ways for you to make pink money than killing a weightless character in the narrative, he just died and you put a cutscene already passing to Ellie in the cabin.

    Game is so freaking good. Controversial start to the game has left a bad taste in some peoples mouth but its actually a very logical way to drive the game and get the story to go where it is expected, it made my stomach turn upside down but in a more emotional distraught than upset at the writers kind of way that it seems to have made others feel.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The current overwhelming hate towards this game is very ironic as it demonstrates how desperate we need the message of TLOU2 - Don't let your love become a weapon that hurts others and eventually yourself.

    I realized the theme of the game very early on, and can almost predict how the main plot would approach the story. Usually, that means the story is way too predictable and boring. However, TLOU2 managed to keep me invested through its stunning and revolutionary storytelling - to become one of 'Them,' the enemies we swore to destroy. Every soul lost in fights is the protagonist in their own story.

    True peace can not be reached by just talking; that is the reality. However, no justice can be claimed in war, that is also true. The only hope of humans ever finding peace is through communication, empathy and understanding, of course, after having the ability to defend ourselves. All of that requires the ability to THINK intelligently, critically and philosophically. Form your definition of truth, instead of following "others" like a herd of mindless infected zombies.

    How many of us in western society holds negative prejudice against other groups of people we deem "evil"? The Russians? The Chinese? Our Government? Politicians in general? The Rich? Us and Them? ...

    'Judging one's character by the group they belong to.' is the origin of the very injustice we try so hard to eradicate (Racism, Sexism, Superiority in any for). So please, fight your brain's biological urge to form an opinion of others by their grouping, we are better than that!

    P.S. I hope the game can give people the option to play sequences in different orders, like to what Beyond Two Souls did (would make the pacing better)
    P.P.S. I hope the DLC dive deeper into Abby's story, especially with his father

    It's a transcendental game where console users without a game will never taste, I'll cry with emotion asking the game not to end so much the feeling of pleasure that I feel from playing this masterpiece, while they will cry in anger knowing that Mama Sony is for years light ahead and will snatch hundreds of prizes and engage 10 million PS5 in its pre-sale with its consumers waiting for the third game.
    This low score from the userscore is the scum of the angry boxer for the fall of his idol, we know that when players from another level finish the game and give an impartial opinion this score will go up to 9.9, the haters are out of play and quarantined so just like that for them to rejoice for a brief moment.    … Expand

    A gameplay, os gráficos, as expressões desse jogo são fantásticas, e EU, particularmente gostei muito da história, talvez, a única parte é como o Joel morre, achei que poderiam pelo menos ter dado a ele uma morte honrável, mas já era de se esperar que o Joel morresse nesse segundo jogo da franquia.

    It is a masterpiece that I feel most are incapable of appreciating at this time. The only agenda I saw was one of the destructive nature of hate, bigotry, and revenge. Love it or hate it; it is deserving of at least one play through. It’s not the game some wanted but the one we all needed.

And the early trailers already showed it was about revenge. I don't think it deserved to be rated this low. Just because the story doesn't follow your expectations.     The first game may not have aged particularly well in terms of gameplay, but is still a masterpiece in my opinion, due to the outstanding characters, fast pacing and compelling story. While Part 2 improves on the gameplay mechanics in a lot of ways, the story just doesn’t work at all and the game lacks the urgency that made the first one so difficult to put down.

    The large open areas    The first game may not have aged particularly well in terms of gameplay, but is still a masterpiece in my opinion, due to the outstanding characters, fast pacing and compelling story. While Part 2 improves on the gameplay mechanics in a lot of ways, the story just doesn’t work at all and the game lacks the urgency that made the first one so difficult to put down.

    The large open areas are technically impressive and detailed but not particularly varied or interesting to explore. Other than some snowy areas at the beginning of the game and some more variety towards the end, the abandoned and overgrown buildings you visit for most of its runtime are all rather repetitive. You often find yourself in areas filled with enemies and a single exit point, which takes a certain amount of time (holding down the triangle button) to open. You need to clear out enough enemies, stealthily or otherwise, in order to open the exit without being interrupted. This same formula is repeated over and over again for the majority of the game. While these sections are less linear than the original, they can also drag on for far too long. The stealth mechanics have been improved upon but are still more frustrating and less refined than those seen in other games, such as Metal Gear Solid V and Horizon Zero Dawn. The AI is just laughable at times, the enemies have inconsistent fields of view and the autosave can be annoying and leave you stuck in some difficult situations. While the game is effective at leaving you with just enough health and ammo, particularly on higher difficulties, this means you end up searching every corner of every room for the same few crafting materials constantly, which becomes tedious.

    The story was the original game’s greatest strength, but is by far my biggest issue with the sequel. The idea that there is good and bad on both sides is an interesting concept but this is incredibly poorly executed. There is an event about two hours in that I won’t spoil, which feels shocking and unearned at that point in the game. Later on, you are supposed to view this event from a different perspective, as well as what happened during the ending of the first game. The writers simply don’t do a good enough job of making the player empathise with the antagonist and the way the messy, non-linear story plays out doesn’t help in this regard. It’s very difficult to side with a character you barely know over beloved characters from the first game, especially when they seem so evil and unlikeable, never really showing any remorse or humanity. Including a few scenes of her playing fetch with her dog just isn’t enough.

    Aside from playing as Ellie in the present day and during some quite enjoyable flashback sequences, you actually play most of the second half of the game as the main antagonist, Abby. Frankly, I didn’t enjoy this at all, I couldn’t relate to the character or forgive her actions and simply didn’t want to play as her. These 10 or so hours were a chore to get through, as it feels like you’re at odds with what the game is making you do. There was one section where I was glad every time the character I was playing as lost, which I’d consider to be a failure from a storytelling perspective. These sections could have been removed entirely as the game suffers from being twice the length of its predecessor, with a much less compelling narrative to distract from the sometimes mediocre gameplay.

    The characters of Ellie, Dina and of course, Joel, were a highlight. They made me want to see the game through to the end, despite how much I disliked the story. I thought Ashley Johnson, Shannon Woodward and Troy Baker did a fantastic job with the material they were given and the music is effective. The game is also incredibly polished with outstanding graphics and attention to detail.

    I truly wanted to love this game and was determined to avoid all the negativity prior to its launch. It was probably my most highly anticipated game of all time, but falls short in so many ways. The story is miserable, poorly structured, has no real resolution and just isn’t as intelligent as it is trying to be. The ending of the first game was morally ambiguous, and I’m sure Joel’s actions would have had consequences, but I’m not convinced exploring these in the way they do here adds much to the series. The hospital sequence was a thrilling finale to what I’d consider to be one of the best stories ever told in a video game and questioning these actions only diminishes this.

    This was overall an incredibly disappointing experience and I’m surprised by some of the decisions Naughty Dog have made here, given their impressive track record over many years. The characters deserved better, especially Joel, and so did the fans.    … Expand

Que al matar a cientos de personas no pasaría nada más, asimismo la historia es igual de real y cruda que en su primera parte, el Gameplay y los gráficos hablan por si solos, y concuerdo en qué el final no puede ser del agrado de todos, pero es lo que en realidad sentirías y pasarías si tú estuvieras en la misma situación, así que sin decir spoilers ni nada más quiero decir que los medios tienen razón al calificar este título como "Masterpiece" ya que se lo merece e incluso me atrevo a decir que es de los mejores exclusivos de todo el catálogo de Sony.… Expand

    Laughing at the internet right now. Brilliant game, story is beautifully well-crafted (sometimes slightly missing the mark, but as a long time fan it still hits the core perfectly) and technologically beautiful

    Story took a hard turn, but was still extremely heartfelt, brutal and hit the chords of the first game in some of my most emotional moments ever on a video game.

    It is genuinely one of the biggest letdowns I have ever seen. The gameplay hasn't been massively improved upon from any other Naughty Dog game. The most monumental thing they added was the ability to crawl. This in and of itself is a letdown to me, but what really got me was the story.
    This game has genuinely some of the worst writing I have ever seen. The dialogue is so unrealistic and forced, and the way the story is paced is terrible. The game is needlessly trying to be dark, to the point that it's overdone and everything that happens ends up being completely unimpactful in the end. Everything we loved about the first game is completely gone. The realistic and enjoyable dialogue between characters? Gone. The evolution of Joel and Ellie's relationship throughout the first game is completely thrown away with this game. We are taught to feel bad for the person who killed Joel, but we aren't given enough time to even consider sympathizing with Abby for what she did.
    We got a whole game with Joel, where we learned to love him, for his flaws, and for what he was great at. How can you expect us to be ok with playing as the character that murdered Joel when you only really give us a short sequence to understand her motive?
    Not to mention, the said motive is so unbelievably forced. Sure, it shows consequences for Joel's actions of the first game, but we already got that in this game with Ellie's discovery of what truly happened at the end of TLOU1.
    With that relationship gone, you'd imagine this game would at least try to add something to it that can fix this gap. But no. All the previous and even new characters in this game just feel empty. Joel's death was unbelievably rushed. Joel from TLOU1 would not be stupid enough to walk into this trap. They remind me of robots. I didn't feel bad when anyone died (other than Joel), except for maybe- and this is a big maybe- Jesse. That was it. It was completely inconsequential that any of them died in the first place because none of them had a major impact on the story to begin with.
    Ellie's guilt and remorse after killing any main character also made no sense. Why not feel bad when you murder any other innocent people? Do they only count as lives when they show up in cutscenes? And even then, why go through the effort of killing all of them just to have your goal in your hands and let it go?
    I guess this was their attempt at a curveball of sorts, like they did with the ending of the first game, except it just doesn't work in this situation. The game got predictable after a while. But this was not the right move to add a sense of unpredictability. This was just terrible.
    The predictability of this story was not redeemable by character growth like the first one was. This game was just lackluster in every way possible when it came to the story. The only redeemable qualities are the gameplay and sound design. They took everything good from the first game, threw it in the trash, caught it on fire, spit on it, and threw it in a grave.

    that is my literal expression while playing this game. It looks amazing! Dont get me wrong but wow is the story terrible. They have completely undone anything great with the first game. Just finished the game a couple minutes ago and all i can think is, meh. 4 out of 10 only for graphics sake, but please fire N.D.

    Not only did we all knew from the trailer that the Part 2 will be about Ellie's revenge but also you all wanted to play again as Joel? Just let the old man die already and be with his daughter... Listen, Do Not listen to these people, a LOT of them haven't even played the game, but they are so miserable with their lives, that they spend their days trashing things they haven't even tried, and the others went in with a negative opinion due to spoilers.. Douchebags... I will admit, that I didn't like the one major thing that happened, it really bummed me out, BUT these games are amazing, and I literally had more emotional attachment, and feeling during the first six hours of this game, than 100 other games I've played(If EVER at all).. The gameplay is great, they fixed a bunch of the little issues I had with the game, and it plays MUCH smoother, the combat is fantastic, and I CAN'T wait to play it again (Definitely need some sleep first though lol). One scene, does Not make a game bad, and just because YOU wouldn't have gone that direction, doesn't mean it's bad, when you make games, you get to decide what happens, until then, shut your mouths, or go Blog to other miserable People like yourself.. This game tells a heartfelt, incredible story, and there are very few games like it as far as emotional weight.. Again, maybe I wish one thing went another way, but guess what, this is the APOCALYPSE, People die, bad things HAPPEN, if you want the fairy tale ending, go watch Disney movies… Expand

    Cara, o jogo é incrível. Os gráficos são de outro mundo, a história então nem se fala. Não tem um momento que fica chato. É um dos únicos Jogos que permite os jogadores se conectarem com a história. Achei incrível, o primeiro foi fantástico mas o segundo é outro nível!! É um jogo fantástico cara, recomendo muito. Vale muito a pena.

    You can pretty much ignore any rating below 5. Its mostly butthurt people that wanted a Last of us remastered remastered. I'm only about 3 hours in and I'm loving it. Such an emotional roller coaster. Makes you want to keep playing

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
