    Just ignore all these negative reviews of people who didnt play the game, this game is an absolute masterpiece.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. "When we have we don't appreciate, when we lose, we take revenge." It is with these words that I would characterize The Last of Us Part II.
    At first I hated the game and the story, but after thinking about what I saw, I changed my mind and consider the story of this game, if not great then definitely cool and important for the industry.
    Abby's character loses his father and the decision is revenge. She does it viciously, killing Joel in front of Ellie. The consequences are obvious - Ellie takes revenge for Joel and almost completes what she should, but STOP .. what should? Revenge?
    In this cycle of revenges, we understand one SIMPLEST thing - revenge does not lead to anything good, it will not become easier for anyone, it won't bring people back and etc. We are convinced of this both from the side of Abby, who losed all her friends and everything as result of revenge and from the side of Ellie too, who losed her friend Jesse, almost losed Dina (pregnant!) and Tommy.
    That's why revenge does not lead to good, and if players understands it then it will be the best experience from this game, and if not they will simply obscure it and will not understand the message of the authors.
    About the moment (actually a couple of moments) where Ellie were angry to Joel for pulling her out at the end of the first part. These words describe this in full - "When we have we don't appreciate, when we lose, we take revenge."

    Drackman clearly took the BRAVEST move, turning the story around the way it was done and madmen like him are the engines of the industry, not otherwise.    … Expand

Me parece un juego con gran jugabilidad y gráficos, y aunque se quejen de la historia esta busca ser realista no una historia bonita, Joel tenía más que merecida la muerte ya que mato gente por su egoísmo antes que el bien común, aparte un ejemplo de que la muerte es muy natural en este juego es cuando matas a un enemigo, sus compañeros gritan, se enojan porque murió un amigo y un aliado, por lo cual buscan venganza. Los personajes de Ellie y Joel son despreciables ya que matan por su bien pero es así en ese mundo, la única forma de sobrevivir es matando, aunque digan que la muerte de Joel “no es lo que se merecía”, entonces que se merecía morir típica escena épica salvando a Ellie, no, claro que no ya que como cualquier personaje en el juego mato, robo, etc. Me pareció mucho matar a Joel así ya que es una persona ni buena ni mala, solo una persona pudo haber muerto de cualquier forma y estaría bien, por eso nos ponen en perspectiva de Abby para ver qué en ese mundo no solo hay 2 personajes o 3 o 10, sino qué hay miles y en cualquier momento pueden morir, que en cualquier momento van a dejar de seguir sus principios y van a empezar a matar, por eso este juego se me hace más realista, ya que trata temas como la venganza, que lo hace muy bien ya que todo empezó porque Joel mato a esas luciérnagas por su propio bien sin pensar en los demás, y por eso lo matan, y porque matan a Joel Ellie busca matar a los que lo mataron, exactamente eso pasaría si esta situación fuera real, el final también es bueno, aunque digan que es una mierda, ya que Ellie sabe que si mata a Abby, el niño que tenia Abby buscaría venganza, por eso el juego es bueno. La gente que no le gusto es por 2 razones, una es porque ven a Joel como un héroe un salvador y a Ellie como su compañera que siempre hacen lo correcto, pero eso no es cierto, Joel tenía más que merecida la muerte como al igual que cualquier personaje en esta saga ya que no hay buenos personajes o malos personajes, solo personajes.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. People that bash on this game bc of ONE specific scene, cry harder. You didn't get the message. We feel every kind of emotion, practically what Ellie feels too, after someone's death. Hate, anger, sadness etc. And our first thought is so kill every one of them (same thought Ellie has). But in the middle of the game we get to play as Abby and experience her side, her story. I know it takes some time to get over the fact that you're playing her but give it a chance - that's what my friend told me and I'm glad I did.. After killing Abby countless times the moment I got to play her. As the story continues and we get to know more of her, the fact, she's just trying to survives in this messed up world like Joel & Ellie. Ellie and Abby both are blinded by anger, same with the player but as the story continues we get a more cleared view of the whole situation. We turn from the monster that wants to kill every single one of them to a more moral person. And it starts to make you think if killing all those people was correct.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. “The last of us part I” is only considered a powerful story because it’s bold ending. The story without it is simple, linear and I it is quite standard. Of course it has good pace and amazing performances from all the cast, but it’s filed with a very old Hollywood cliche: “traumatized grumpy middle age man gets soft after is forced to deal with a teenage rebel”. The game world is vast in possibilites and Part II takes advantage of them, filling the not so linear story with a interesting background: the Seraphites reminds me of “The Handmaid’s Tale” world where religion is used as a pillar stone to manipulate and control people in a world of crisis. The WLF plot line demonstrates how a prominent society can be subdued to a twisted leader. But this informations of the world can only be enjoyed as long as you explore every corner of the game. And I was thrilled when the story took us to the Seraphite Island.

    Since I despised Joel’s decision to lie in the ending of the first game, his fate in Part II is not revolting to my eyes, and it reminded me of choice/consequence like Robb Stark and The Red Wedding. Where a choice based on a noble sentiment such as love, can cause damage to others as a whole.

    Ellie felt way more interesting as a character in Part I than Joel; and her shift in personality in Part II is believable after all the trauma and lies she suffered through all her life. Abby’s storyline is well constructed when dealing on the consequences after Joel’s murder and her motivations runs in opposite direction as Ellie’s, until of course the point she is forced to review it.

    In the end, when both Ellie and Abby decide not to kill each other (yes, Abby could easily attack Ellie from behind while she was crying) we understand the unbalanced weight of vengeance versus forgiveness, and the incredible loss faced by both of them while choosing to learn this balance it in the most brutal way.    … Expand

    The last of us 2 is a perfect game, with flawless mechanics, flawless graphics, flawless gameplay, and story that goes very well with shocking moments and stable duration.

    You may have themes of some distaste with in-game policies but you can enjoy it with no problem even with these details present.
    I must congratulate naugthy dog ​​for making such a good game, definitely a great game.

    I was actually kind of afraid that I might not like it due to discovering the leaks... But man, I trusted ND and they delivered!
    The environments are lush and beautiful, the animations are top notch and the atmosphere is on point. For those who haven't played it yet, I highly suggest you do. You'll either love it or hate it.

    Хоть в этой игре есть фиминистический позыв, ЛГБТ, но само впечатление от игры никак не изменилось. Это классная, атмосферная игра. С классным сюжетом, геймплеем, графикой. Эта игра может сделать так, чтобы тебе в один момент стало грустно, а в другой весело. Есть минусы в русской озвучки, но это совсем пустяки. But you must understand that a story doesn't belong to you. Naughty Dog has crafted a challenging story with brutal but honest ideas at play.     I think that is a great game, mabye is not the best game of the year but i think is a game very cool about grafics, soundtrack, gameplay, mechanics.
    The story that they want tell us is no mabye the best story to tell but it have so much things that we don't know about what happened 5 year ago the last of us part l.
    4me is a game of 10 other games have the same 4 only nothing.

    Absolute masterpiece, the storytelling is breathtaking. Graphics, gameplay, acting, everything is superb. Best game of this console generation and second best game of all time, as Part I is the best. Thank you Naughty Dog :)

    Играл и в первую и в вторую часть. Сюжет очень крутой, геймплей нормальный, а графика как для PS 4 вообще огонь, в некоторых кат -ценах, можно без проблем попытать с реальностью. Рекомендую каждому и не понимаю почему остальные ставят плохие оценки. Они скорее все даже не поиграли, или играли очень мало.Играл и в первую и в вторую часть. Hard to believe that they even played the game. Most probably saw their favorite YouTuber talk about leaks and decided that it sucks.     I am highly enjoying this game. I understand why people are unhappy the way naughty dog chose to take the story. But this game is something that has never been done in story telling. And let's not forget how good it looks and runs on a regular ps4.     Gran juego, su jugabilidad es perfecta e innovadora con muy buenos gráficos y una dificultad ajustable sin afectar los trofeos, aunque en lo personal su dificultad normal es muy muy fácil. Es apto para cualquier jugador debido a la cantidad de ajustes para personas ciegas, daltónicas, etc.

    Es un título que se debe jugar con la mente abierta ya que su protagonista es homosexual (aunque esto se deja claro en su primera entrega y aún más en su dlc Left Behind) y se presenta un personaje trans (claramente esto no tiene por qué afectar negativamente la historia pero en su tiempo mucha gente estaba enojada por este tipo de personajes) y también hay que ser maduros ya que personajes importantes mueren poniéndonos en la piel del asesino (otra cosa que ah sido muy criticada). Hay que tener en cuenta que es un mundo post apocalíptico dónde hay que tener mucha "suerte" para mantenerse con vida, por lo que es normal que muchos personajes mueran repentinamente. Cómo dice Joel: solo hemos tenido suerte y en algún momento se va a acabar.
    Es un juego mas que recomendable y extenso, siendo el doble de largo que el primero.

    O jogo não peca em questão de gráficos e jogabilidade que é parecida com o primeiro com novas adições. A história tem uma grande base nos sentimentos humanos e em como uma história pode ter 2 lados diferentes, fazendo não haver heróis ou vilões no mundo de TLoU e com um ótimo desenvolvimento dos personagens. Simplesmente magnífico.

    No me gusta la versión utilizada en este juego del doctor octopus, yo me habría basado en la de alfred molina, además, el personaje está demasiado caricaturizado y a estas alturas el personaje tiene algo más de profundidad por lo menos en los comics, así que sugeriría un cambio de rumbo en lo que respecta al villano por parte de Insmoniac.

Графика, дизайн локаций, музыкальное сопровождение, саундтрек, звуки стрельбы - все выполнено неприлично великолепно. Это поистине уникальный проект, созданный кровью и потом сотен человек. Очень жалко, что такой титанический труд засрали аутисты , даже не игравшие в игру. Обожаю Naughty Dog, обожаю Sony.     I honestly don't understand the hate for this game? I mean...besides the crybaby straight males who are mad that Ellie isn't mackin on chicks and instead has a complicated lesbian relationship. The game is bleak. It's the zombie apocalypse after all. Of course stuff is going to hit the fan. Y'all just get with the times please.
