    The Last Of Us Part II is an amazing and beautiful journey while deadly as you move on. The story is great, (not perfect), however the gameplay was MUAH. The combat is just GREAT, every time I deal that finishing blow with a baseball bat or pipe I yell. The immersion is just great, the game is awesome. Definitely a GOTY contender and possible winner!     I'm still playing the game and I'm amazed with everything, just like in the first game. The graphics are amazing, the story is incredible and the characters are very remarkable. Idk why all those bad reviews.

    If someone is suddenly interested in the particulars of my perception and subjective assessment: only two days after passing did I understand how much I admire The Last of Us Part II from the first to the last second.     From the beginning to the end this is a fantastic game. The story, the graphic fidelity, sound design, all top notch. Naughty dog has done it again and I cant wait to see where they take the series in the future. People say there is no perfect game. Now there is 11/10

    Great game and definitely a great way to finish the story of the first game but I think they should have thought it through alot more than having to wait till mid way through the game to really understand what they were doing (playing as abbie) felt like a good thing but I felt like this went on for a couple of hours to long and wanted to spend more time in the past or watching Ellie but apart from switching between Ellie and Abbey it's was amazing and worked so well to tell a story from so many different peoples perspectives n    … Expand

    Love it! Amazing graphics, gameplay and the story, wow. I don't think I've ever seen such a complex story before. The end had me crying like a baby... Time for new game+ now I guess. Also big thank you to Naughty Dog for the representation.

I’ve had time to think about #TheLastofUsPartIl and I had seen a few spoilers before jumping into it and while it saddens me to have seen them I wasn’t gonna let it bother me From a visual standpoint this game was nothing story of one of the best games I’ve ever seen, The music might be only 2nd to Red Dead Redemption 2. The music was absolutely incredible and really knew how to hit the mood. From a character standpoint Joel and Ellie were.. well, Joel and Ellie. Dina was a very well put together character and it was a trip watching,
    Tommy go more and more mad as the story went on. Especially near the end, Jesse was a great new character was well to see. There are too many other characters to talk about in a review so I’ll just say. Some of them were hits and some were misses #TheLastofUsPart2 

    Now Onto the story itself... Is the story better then the first game... no... But that’s OK, because overall the story was while flawed at some points. A very enjoyable story for me. I think playing as Abby went a little too long but that’s OK.

    Seeing Ellie develop as a character throughout the second game as well as in the ending, realizing that no matter what she did wouldn’t change what happened or make her a better person showed true character development for her.

    My final thoughts. I really want to give this game a 10/10 But as of this moment I just can’t, maybe after a second Playthru and sitting down on it I can. But the graphics, sound and character were all great and the story was while flawed a good experience Overall. 9.5/10. Since 9.5 is closer to 10 than it is to 9. I’ll give it a 10    … Expand

This is an amazing game, top tier game, is wonderful how you see the characters in differents points of views, it is an amazing way to go depply inside the story lane, the ending is something you think about, is a good ending, a weird one but when you play you need to put on the shoes of the characters, its a good ending on the violence cicle a magnificent game, enviroment and gameplay.

Porém o jeito que mataram personagens queridos como se não fosse nada me desagradou um pouco, mataram o Joel bem no início do jogo e ele era o favorito de muitos. A insaciável busca por vingança, nos mantem tao presos no jogo para poder enfim encerrar com isso, mas quando se chega no final, deixamos abby viver.     I'm not sure if people can't handle a beloved character dying or they never played the first DLC so are homophobically shocked for all the bad reviews flying around. I think this sequel is just as good as the first one, the motion capture acting is even better too. The couple of extra mechanics added are a nice touch without being too drastic of a change from the first.

    Incredibly crafted both in visuals and gameplay, with truthful and beautiful performances, and a storyline that pays off the themes and questions raised by the previous game. It's a game about hate, and whilst it might not be giving you what you want the characters to have, it is a bold vision executed by the creators to give a clear message: hate will destroy you.

    Me gustó muchísimo y actualmente es uno de mis favoritos, hacia tiempo que un juego no me trasmitía tanto al jugarlo y que al terminarlo me dejará una sensación de vacío enorme.
    Aparte de la narrativa, la jugabilidad, físicas y música son increíbles. Es uno de los mejores juegos de la generación, un broche de oro para terminar de cerrar la generación de ps4.
    Lo recomiendo mucho.

    Last of Us Part 2 is simply a masterpiece - this is undoubtedly Naughty Dog's magnum opus thus far. Dramatically improves on the original game's gameplay and tells and personal, heartfelt story. Contrary to bigoted claims of "SJW **** and "pandering", one of the relationships at the core of the game feels entirely natural and beautiful. Refreshingly willing to take risks, this game is phenomenal

    Overall I loved the game. A lot of people are showing hate to this game simply because they feel way too attached to characters from the first game. Especially considering that the game is set in a post apocalyptic world where people die at any moment in the most unexpected ways.     Después de varias horas, varios días, logré terminar un juego que esperé años y generó expectativas altísimas, no tan solo para mí, sino que, más bien, para todos. Hoy, puedo decir orgullosa y feliz, dentro de lo rota que estoy, que estoy satisfecha con el resultado, con la historia y gran trabajo que nos entregaron, que, a mi parecer, perfectamente se podría calificar como obra maestra.Después de varias horas, varios días, logré terminar un juego que esperé años y generó expectativas altísimas, no tan solo para mí, sino que, más bien, para todos. Hoy, puedo decir orgullosa y feliz, dentro de lo rota que estoy, que estoy satisfecha con el resultado, con la historia y gran trabajo que nos entregaron, que, a mi parecer, perfectamente se podría calificar como obra maestra. He leído atenta todas las críticas que surgieron desde las primeras horas del juego y, claramente los personajes y la historia, el final por supuesto, es lo más odiado. Creo que cuando te tomas el tiempo de realmente jugar The Last of Us II, y hago hincapié en el hecho de tomarse el tiempo para hacerlo, porque la experiencia y todo el juego en sí está diseñado para que te sumerjas en el mundo de los personajes, para que los comprendas, para que pienses en sus motivaciones y acciones, se te hace imposible el hecho de no poder quedar destrozado con el final, no en el mal sentido, sino que, terminas cuestionando todo, tratando de comprender todo, emocionado probablemente hasta las lágrimas. En síntesis, en mi opinión, la historia fue bestial, consecuente, porque después de todo, nosotros y nuestras motivaciones suelen ser inconsecuentes, y creo que, aquí es donde se marca una brecha gigante con la primera entrega, donde teníamos una historia que si, nos tocaba, pero por la singuralidad de la situación, porque eran cosas que tan solo le estaban pasando a los protagonistas, y creo que, el cambio que se produjo en el enfoque de la segunda es lo que me pareció tan doloroso, tan conmovedor, porque nos enfrenta a sentimientos con los que nos podemos identificar, amplificando el sentimiento de inmersión. En cuanto a toda la mecánica tras el juego, se mantiene la esencia absoluta de The Last of Us, la supervivencia, la escasez de recursos, el temor por ser detectado, todo, pero, con características mejoradas, a gran detalle y que resultan brutales para toda la experiencia. Juro que enfrentarse a alguien en combate cuerpo a cuerpo es una experiencia que te deja los pelos de punta. Aún así, mantiene ciertas carencias que vienen desde el primer TLOU, como por ejemplo, lo poco realista del uso de suplementos para adquirir ciertas habilidades, pero, fuera de eso, el avance es maravilloso,es arte puro. Mi nominado al GOTY sin duda, 9.5/10, solo por unas pocas faltas técnicas.… Expand

La muerte de joel indigna, infumable, como mierda confia en alguien asi de facil, mas con todo lo q a vivido. Y ese final de mierda. Dios mio q final mas mierda. La historia sola esta bien, pero cuando la pones en el universo de tlou, no queda bien. Si ND queria hacer un juego con un mensaje politico tan fuerte como lo intentsron con tlou2, hubieran creado otro juego, y asi no hechan a perder un juego tan perfecto como el 1. El 7 es porque a pesar de todo, el juego logra su principal cometido, el cual es hacerte sentir triste, impacyado, q te den ganas de vengarte, hacerte enojar. Pero lamentablemente, ese sentimiento que tan bien lograron transmitir, se ve opacado por la cagada de desarrollo de historoa q hicieron.     I was deeply bound with the characters in the first game. Absolutely loved it.
    First part of the game - beautiful and stunning. But second - is too much for me. I simply couldn't handle the soulless second half of the game.
    9 as a game
    0 as storytelling.
    Overall 5 is all i can give. Im so sad, almost feel pain for the game.

    Finished the game Sunday morning and had to collect all my thoughts, it does tell a cohesive and great story. Phenomenal game all around, people are review bombing this game due to their insecurities in addition to not owning the game and that is okay since it'll win GOTY and be talked about for years with it setting the new standard for story telling.

    A masterpiece. You might think you know with all the leaks but you actually don’t. Even better than the first one, Naughty Dogs did a wonderful job. I have so much to say but I don’t have the words to express how I feel about this game. Life-changing, periodt.

The story was fantastic, but there were problems.First problem wasnt HOW Joels death was executed, it was way too early.I have a explanation why they trusted them, simply because they didnt know they were there.They saved Abby, Tommy said their names, which is logical, she was alone and they thought she was scared, so she knew that was the Joel that killed her father, said that her friends are in a cabin north from there.I mean, they had no choice, either go with her or get infected there.Second problem was the Seraphites and WLF.Fireflies were a much better written and explained organisation.Lets see, at the beginning of the first TLOU, Sarah died and then the intro sequence rolls up.The guy on the radio or whatever talks something about Los Angeles being the latest city placed under martial law, then they mention the execution of six more alleged Fireflies.They we can hear Marlene or someone else talking about looking for the light and believing in them, the Fireflies.We questioned ourselves who are they...Throghout the game we didnt meet them much, but they well better explained.Marlene, ending, beginning, iconic firefly logo.Then the DLC happened.Then we look in Seraphites, they were beatifully presented in the 2017 trailer, while they were hanging Abby, but throghout the game we only shoot with them and find a few artifacts and then we see their village.Not really much, but still not very bad.WLF on the other hand, we can read a lot of letter from or to Isaac, but we only see him twice.We see they are a big organisation, but they dont really have a goal.They want to have that territory for themselves and thats it.Fireflies wanted that too, but they wanted to make the cure, even tho it was not really possible.Both are terrorist organisations.I dont see WLF or Seraphites as a bad writing, only i see a little more potential.I really liked the ending, i didnt even want to kill Abby, i hated her guts in the beginning, and at the middle of the game, but i went in the game with a neutral opinion, as i saw all the leaks a month before.I still hated her friends, only not Owen.He didnt even want to kill Joel, and he was the reason Tommy and Ellie didnt get killed at the beginning.There were some good moments just like in TLOU1, Ellie playing the guitar to Dina, before the ending at the farm, the beginning while they smoke weed and a few others, i cant remember at the moment.As of SJW or LGBT agenda, i honestly didnt saw it much.Isaac was a black guy, but he wanted to kill Lev, a child, so clearly an indication there isnt much SJW in that matter, women died in the game, males died.Only LGBT agenda i can see is the Lev thing, and it wasnt really pressured and shoved down our throats.The other is Dina and Ellie, but it also wasnt shoved down our throats, they kissed twice in the game and thats it.As for the ending, its iconic.Abby is a reflection of Ellie, both are blinded by revenge.Joel killed her father (with a good reason in my opinion, but thats up to the player, if the vaccine really worked then it wasnt, its a matter of opinion), Abby tracked down Joel in 4 years time, and killed him, by luck, he still saved her life, but she was blinded by revenge.Ellie saw her father figure die, so she went on revenge, killed all her friends, and Tommy killed Manny, but still, they didnt felt different, it didnt bring back Joel.At the end, Ellie finds Abby helpless and cuts her down.Abby doesnt try to fight, she cuts Lev down.She brings Lev to the boat, everyone around them is empty, only water as a representation of void, they have nothing to fight for, both have lost almost everything.In Uncharted 4 ending, Rafe and Nate are fighting around the treasure, they found it, but they are not fighting for the treasure, Nate is fighting to save his brother, Rafe is fighting to show that he is better than them.So Ellie starts fighting with Abby, stabs her twice.At the end, she starts drowning her, and she saw Joel in her mind.Most of people are hating this ending, but she didnt spare Abby because she thinks it was right to kill Joel, but she saw herself in Lev and Abby was Joel.If she kills Abby, Lev might come for revenge 10 years later, so she has three choices.1. Spare Abby 2.Kill Abby and kill Lev out of fear of possible vengeance 3.Kill only Abby and live in fear that Lev might come and kill her.Ellie broke the cycle, with consequences.This game wasnt a masterpiece, but it was very close to a masterpiece.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
