    Graphics are awsome

    Gameplay is like uncharted 4
    The story is good ,not what I expected but it is not something that I hate or dislike I can live with it, they made the story close to real life and what would happen in a real world and it will give you the feel of sadness and hate both wich is opposite of the first game,in general it is a very good game.

    The graphics are the best on playstation by far. The gameplay is incredibly fun. The story about the cycle of revenge is masterfully done. Great game from all angles.

    Play as the one who killed the most liked (and the main) character of the first game? Who was stupid enough to think of this?

    Thanks to my local game store for accepting to take the game back for 50$. This way I am disappointed for a 10$ game, not a 60$ one.    … Expand

    Fun gameplay, great set pieces, graphically beautiful and a story that just does not hold up unfortunately along with the poor pacing bring what could have been a great game down to being just merely ok.

    You can never go wrong with Naughty Dog productions. The game is technically impressive and even tho I prefer the first one, story wise (which is entirely subjective) it's still a great game and one of the best exclusives available on Playstation.

    I bought it out of curiosity due to the bad reviews and hoo boy... What a surprise.

    It felt like I was playing on the PS5, I kept in awe during the full play through mainly because of the graphics and how good the gameplay mechanics were (took me some time to get good at it). I didn't like the ending though, it felt a bit unsatisfying and a little reminiscent of Uncharted 4's one. I    I bought it out of curiosity due to the bad reviews and hoo boy... What a surprise.

    Don't let the negative reviews scare you off, this is nothing short of a cinematic masterpiece captured in a video game. The story is heartbreaking and gut wrenching, and needs to be played to fully experience it. I do get some people's complaints with certain parts, like the pacing and a few other things. Those really didn't bother me. En cuanto a Gameplay el juego es impecable, mejora muchos aspectos del primer juego, los detalles a la hora de los combates, la inteligencia artificial, los nuevos infectados, las nuevas animaciones, gráficos, etc. agregan una profundidad inimaginable al nuevo juego de la serie. El gran problema es la manera que la historia se ejecuto, dejando de fuera los aspectos LGBTQ+ que con eso no hay ninguna queja al respecto, ya que desde el primer juego se sabia que Ellie es lesbiana. El problema es la forma tan forzada que quieren que simpaticemos con Abby; desde el momento en que ella y su grupo de amigos son participes del asesinato de Joel, Abby culmina su venganza, ya que mas adelante en el juego se nos explica el por que de sus acciones, llegando a la conclusión, ella es la que sale ganando, su venganza culminada, escapando a lo que se entiende a una base de las nuevas luciérnagas, con una protegida (Lev) y sin remordimiento alguno, por que a los únicos que les tenia cariño de su grupo de amigos, era a Owen, Manny y Nora y a los demas, una, ni los llegamos a conocer bien y otra a Abby les deba igual, inclusive siendo hasta caprichosa y egoísta con Mel. Abby es el error más grande del juego, un personaje, todo poderoso, poco carismático y lleno de agujeros en su desarrollo como personaje. Los mas afectados son los protagonistas de la historia Ellie y Joel, este último recibiendo una de las muertes más sin sentido y con poco peso en la trama, ya que al último solo fue el detonante de la mitad de la historia, y Ellie pierde todo, se queda sola, Dina la dejo junto con su hijo J.J , Jesse esta muerto, Tommy la dejo, perdio los dedos y ahora no puede tocar la guitarra siendo este el último memento que Joel le dejo. Personalmente lo único rescatable de esta secuela es la parte técnica siendo esta impecable pero sin importancia dentro de un juego donde lo que más importa es su historia.

    With a lot of cut scenes, dialogs, unexpected story events, undesired story events or foreign to gaming agendas. This is still a master piece, a next leap in gaming that will change all other world wide studios’ prospective on how games are made.

    This game is a technical masterpiece! No other game has ever utilized body language and facial expressions so masterfully. These characters feel alive and realistic. The graphics are beautiful, the sound design, gameplay in general was amazing.
    As for story, I think the death early in the game was tough but the goal was always to have Ellie take the lead role. It's a standard trope, sure,    This game is a technical masterpiece!     Ok, this is a painful experience for me. The Last of Us was of the games that made me get PS4 back in the day, but then the spoilers came I clung to a small piece of hope that maybe they weren't accurate but alas I was proven wrong.

Competent visuals and serviceable mechanics are dragged down to dirt by a horribly paced story that's so far up its own rectum you need spelunking tools to get it out. Witness a cavalcade of unrelatable, boring, ugly and amoral characters making the worst decisions possible at every turn,A mediocre Days Gone ripoff from people who mistake making the audience unhappy for good storytelling. Competent visuals and serviceable mechanics are dragged down to dirt by a horribly paced story that's so far up its own rectum you need spelunking tools to get it out. Witness a cavalcade of unrelatable, boring, ugly and amoral characters making the worst decisions possible at every turn, and in the end nothing is resolved, because leaving the player satisified after 20 hours of sloughing through sludge just isn't postmodern and hip enough for Naughty Dog.

    The real tragedy is that the combat segments are totally fine - there's just 30 minutes of unwanted garbage before every combat. This is a game that would be twice as good if it was half as long, and the removed sections should be every section where anyone speaks.    … Expand

We forget that not all stories told to use thru any form of art is meant to be one thing. Sometimes a picture can look of way, but you see something different. So, the story is what kept me in this game. The look is nice. sound is good. Gameplay is I would say its weakness. I never felt like I was fully in control of Ellie. She kind of went left when I went left and when switching to right, she would walk backwards awkwardly. The gun play has not changed much. It’s a bit wonky but it was like that in Last of Us. SPOILER TALK: So, I went into this game with an open mind. I didn’t read any spoilers till after I was done with game. Am I a fan of Abby and the time I spent controlling her? No. I did not. She killed my favorite character in one of the greatest story games I have ever played. Why would I want to control her? Well the story explains it. Joel was not a good guy. He was not the good guy in first Last of us. He did a lot of horrible things before the first game. Did bad things during first Last of Us. And Abby was someone that he wronged. Her hate came from the murder of her father. The man that Joel killed in the surgery room to save Ellie. In our eyes we loved Ellie just as much as he did. We spent a lot of time with them to justify what he did... But. We knew it was wrong what he did. Right before the credits of Last of Us, when the camara zooms in on Ellie. We see her puppy eyes. And all she says is "ok".. We knew everything that just happened was wrong. We felt guilt. We and Joel lied to her. The chance of everything going back to normal was stripped away but a man and a lie. So ... I understand Abby. Her hate she had for Joel. And why she had to kill him. It’s what we felt for her thru Ellie while we spent hours hunting her and her friends. I will not go into any gay or trans or any issues like that because I believe your opinion is your opinion. I had no Issue with any of that. Back to story. I would have preferred to not control Abby. Always be with Ellie. To have the story of Abby and her dad revealed someway different. For Ellie to be like you killed my dad and Abby sees what she has done. That the father was taken from her and her hate and revenge has done the same to someone else. I cried a little when Joel died. I had to stop and gather my thoughts. I was sad, angry and confused. That was good story telling. Going back in time thru Ellie's memories was amazing too. It made me feel the feels lol. To see hear Joel's voice again. To hear him say kiddo. I felt what I believe Ellie felt. Calm. Happy. and once the scene ended. More anger and hate. Now I will not go to into it. I did not like the ending too much. I think going back for Abby. Trying to kill her and then deciding not to. Getting home to see Ellie's life is gone. Dina and everything gone. Missing her fingers so she cannot even play Joel's song to Ellie.... I teared up again. We see a flashback of her last conversation with Joel after the bar fight with Seth. She finally lets out what Joel's lie made her feel. She felt useless. Like her life meant nothing. And they patch things up. Joel saying if he had the chance, he would do everything again made me feel the feels x5. He loved her. She was his kid now. And he would always fight for her. He would beat up a bigot at a bar, or even mow down an entire army of solders to keep her safe. To finish up. I enjoyed the story. It had flaws. It could have been told better. This sadly was not a story about a girl and her dad surviving. It was a story about lose. Hate. Revenge. Losing yourself. Mentally going where you thought you could not. A place you might never escape. Ellie went thru something I am sure Joel went thru with the loss of Sarah. I am an optimistic. When Ellie remembers how she was able to start forgiving Joel. I hope this gave her hope to go find Dina and get her life back. To leave the murder and hate behind. And be the girl in the room full of weed. Being somewhat happy. And having a reason to being alive. So, I am giving this game an 8/10. It made me feel what I did not expect to feel. Thank you… Expand

    I'm one of those crazy people that actually waited until I had played and finished the game to come write a review XD.

    Gameplay: 9/10 - It's really fun and the animations are top-of-industry. Amazing technical achievement Graphics: 10/10 - Hands down the best looking game of this console generation, and I doubt anything will top it before the new generation of consoles come out Music:    I'm one of those crazy people that actually waited until I had played and finished the game to come write a review XD.

    Pacing: 6/10 - I was not happy with how brutally long some moments were, and it did feel unnecessary many times.
    Story: 8/10 - A believable tale about the consequences of Joel's actions and what PTSD can do to someone. Could have been better, but still great.

    Final score: 8.4/10 - an enjoyable game in almost every aspect.

    Because I believe in justice, to offset all the absoiutely ridiculous 0/10 scores, I will be scoring this a 10/10 here. There is no universe where this game is a 0/10, so we can confidently say those are all nonsense. However, there are arguments to be made that it is a 10/10, so I will once again say, my score is 8.4, but I am putting 10/10 here anyway.    … Expand

    Do NOT bother playing this game. Let “The Last of Us” name stay as a masterpiece in your mind as it is. Whoever wrote this script and whoever gave it a green light doesn’t like Ellie or doesn’t respect Joel at all.

    Overall the game was crafted with an amazing amount of love and passion for game making in general. I did have mixed feelings through out the whole story but the direction was very bold and progressive which I wish more games would be. The toxicity of the gaming community is truly visible just by the user reviews here. Overall I'm happy with how the game was made and I'm glad it exists

There's a lot to like; gorgeous graphics, great set pieces, flawless voice acting and sound design. The game lacks decent writing, has very bland combat and its length is greatly unjustified.     There was no need to force the alphabet agenda on this game. It's distracting and undermines the great work the designers and artists put in to it. Thankfully you can skip the cinematics.

No need to pay attention to LGBT or racial issues. This is just a game, it is what the developer sees it. I was in love in the first part of the game and went through it several times. I haven’t played many games several times. In the second part, I waited for a very long time. I want to note that I did not expect a specific plot. I was just waiting for the sequel. The graphics are superb, especially with good TV. The gameplay is the same as in the first part - it's cool. The plot is good, just good. Nothing supernatural, but not **** as many tutus write. The average percentage completion of 31-35 according to various sources. I don’t think that people who write * game **** * went through it to the end.
    My humble opinion is that the game is worth playing and understanding what is important to you.    … Expand

    The last of us part 1 made me feel like a dad, all protective of Ellie, screaming at the screen when she wonders off... so excited to have jumped back into this world.
    I've always enjoyed the story telling from naughty dog and this is no different, I know there are controversies about this title online but Ellie has always been, at least to me the main driver of this series.     Naughty Dog has done it again, this game makes you do things with characters you DO NOT want to do, I respect that. This game has balls, it is getting unwarranted hate from players who haven't either do not like storytelling where there are consequences to previous actions or don't like video games. I will not spoil this game, please play it and review it FAIRLY, and not with hate glasses on.

Очень бесили сюжетные переходы в центре локации без возможности вернуться и осмотреть, что не успел в локации. Очень понравилась проработка интерьеров, и всяких мелочей типа пачкающегося провода или снега на деревьях, за летящий по ветру пакет отдельный респект. Ну и повесточкуОкей, игра в целом неплохая, даже хорошая. Но есть некоторые странности в балансе на максимальной сложности. Очень бесили сюжетные переходы в центре локации без возможности вернуться и осмотреть, что не успел в локации. Очень понравилась проработка интерьеров, и всяких мелочей типа пачкающегося провода или снега на деревьях, за летящий по ветру пакет отдельный респект. Ну и повесточку отлично отработали, молодцы. Стремные женские персонажи, "шовинистские бары", подмыхи, гееход, странные диалоги. Зачем? Это все реально должно было быть в игре? Пожалуй я больше не буду вам заносить деньги, пусть сжв скам и покупает ваши игры. Игра 8 из 10, минус 4 за повесточку, в итоге 4 из 10.

    una obra maestra, un juego que a ratos te hace sentir incomodo y otras veces te hace sentir la persona mas feliz del mundo,un juego que te lleva al limite y te hace ver la crueldad humana, excelentes graficos y una narrativa a la altura de las mejores peliculas, algunas veces puede ser algo lento, pero sin duda lo compensa con grandes escenas, un imprescindible al que tiene que jugar todasuna obra maestra, un juego que a ratos te hace sentir incomodo y otras veces te hace sentir la persona mas feliz del mundo,un juego que te lleva al limite y te hace ver la crueldad humana, excelentes graficos y una narrativa a la altura de las mejores peliculas, algunas veces puede ser algo lento, pero sin duda lo compensa con grandes escenas, un imprescindible al que tiene que jugar todas las persona, que no os engañen las notas negativas por la guerra de consolas, es un autentico juegazo… Expand

    A bit darker than the first game. Really heavy stuff but one of the best games I have ever played. Most movies and games get a sequel because the creators know the fans want more. Naughty dog had more to say and it's definitely worth your time.

The way the narrative rises and falls in a cyclical motion mirroring the cycles of hate and more importantly forgiveness present with its characters. I can understand why some people may not enjoy this game the entire way through, but personally i don't think that's the point.

I can understand why some people may not enjoy this game the entire way through, but personally i don't think that's the point.

    You are supposed to hate certain characters and certain moments and the beauty of the game is that it tests your ability to forgive in those situations. The game itself is almost a social experiment, testing how far you would go and wether or not you can learn to empathize with others despite possible wrongdoings.

    Not to mention this game's combat mechanics are top notch, and the graphics may be the best I've seen to date. Every character here feels realized wether they spend much time with you or not. The level designs are varied and interesting, and the new weapon customizations are awesome.

    If you have been paying attention to these scores for users they have gone up from a 3 to a 5 now that more people have actually beaten the game and seen the story play out. It's not an easy game to get through, it's emotionally draining at times. But for those who can handle the intense violence and complex themes the world of The Last of Us has to offer, this game is a MUST play. Game of the year 2020 right here.    … Expand

    Well, I don't know why so many people over here crying about the plot, it's great - maybe little cheese at times. But game is a master peace and not many developers do this says what NaughtyDog can. Every game is always a huge step forward. Not another : Assassin, Call of duty , gears gears , halo etc.
    Graphics / gameplay / story is great

I finished the Game over the weekend. Overall objectively, i will give it 8.5, its a well crafted technically magnificent looking game. I played as Abby at first didn’t like it at all, but the boss battle she had in the hospital was awesome. I hated fighting Ellie, still can’t believe Joel is dead.     Naughty Dog took a risk with some parts of the story which is why people 'hate' the game. Graphically the game is fabulous. Face mimics are out of this world, literally the best face animations I have seen in the video game. Regarding the plot, it is twisted and I understand why people don't like it so much, however this is not a reason to give this game 2/10.

    I have ACTUALLY played this game now for two days @around 11 hours in. This game is fantastic. The story genuinley made me gasp out loud and made me so determined to resolve it the way I hope it's resolved.

    The controls are a little tough to start out with but most are exactly the same as the first game. I have not played a game for some many consistent hours in a long, long time. The game is good over all, I have actually really enjoyed it, and the parts people are pissed about really isn’t that bad. Una de las razones comprensibles por la que muchos odiaron este juego, es la muerte de Joel, además de una forma brutal y sádica, lo cuál causa un impacto muy fuerte para los fans del primer juego desde los primeros minutos, pero conforme la historia avanza, todos los cabos van siendo amarrados. El argumento para desarrollar la historia me parece interesante y lógica, a pesar de que muchos se han quejado también de eso. Abby fue lo más destacado, al principio nos hacen odiarla, pero después logran hacernos ver su lado humano y sus motivaciones, logrando una empatía con el jugador. Un giro brillante es el enfrentamiento contra Ellie mientras controlamos a Abby, realmente es un momento que me dio mucha emoción y me hizo ver a Ellie como la mala del cuento. Otro momento memorable es el flashback de Ellie y Joel visitando el museo, sin duda uno de los momentos más bellos del juego, no hace falta decir que cuando Joel y Ellie aparecen juntos, es cuando surge la magia que nos enamoró desde el primer juego. El gameplay es mucho más dinámico que el de la primera parte, sin hacer grandes cambios en sus mecánicas y puliendo algunos detalles lograron darle más dinamismo al combate. El apartado técnico es sin duda lo mas destacado, desde los gráficos, los detalles faciales, las atmósferas, los ambientes, el diseño de escenarios, el soundtrack, etc. Los únicos defectos que encontraría en el juego, es que a veces se vuelve demasiado largo y repetitivo, quizás debieron haber recortado unas 5 horas para hacerlo más fluido. Después de algunas horas comienza a volverse tedioso, sobre todo llegando a la parte de Abby. En muchos puntos se corta el ritmo del juego debido a como está estructurada la narrativa, incluyendo tantos flashbacks y cambios de personajes. El gameplay también se ve afectado debido al guión que se va alargando de más y a estar explorando los entornos tan extensos para buscar recursos. El embarazo de Dina y el posterior bebé, me parecen un sinsentido en la historia y algo forzado para darle más emotividad, la inclusión de Abby es buena, pero creo que con unos cuantos flashbacks pudieron haber dado sentido a sus motivaciones y no alargar tanto su parte jugable, en fin, este juego nunca superará al primero, pero es una digna secuela (con defectos) y sin duda uno de los mejores de esta generación.     it's a horrible sequel that completely destroys the characters and all the build-up from the first game. It doesn't matter how good the graphics, gameplay, music and all the other technical aspects are, when the story is so unbelievable, unimmersive and riddled with inconsistencies and plot holes. A wise person once said that a good story can save bad art, but good art can't save a bad story. And that should really be the slogan for TLOU2.

    It's a Naughty Dog game, and although 70% of its staff has left including the incredibly talented Amy Hennig and Bruce Straley, you can pretty much expect it to LOOK like a masterpiece. And it does. However, take any 10 minute clip from any part of the game and I'll show you 2 plot holes, 4 inconsistencies and overall just lazy and sloppy writing.

    Nearly every single piece of dialogue made me think "well, that's dumb" and nearly every action sequence was riddled with plot armor and just straight up stupidity. For instance when Ellie and another person drives their car into the water and instead of just swimming right out through the gaping hole where her car door used to be, it was ripped off earlier, they struggle to get through the driver's side window. What the hell? How was this not pointed out by ANYONE? There are so many stupid details and it just completely breaks any sort of credibility or depth this game has, if it even has any.

    I praised the first game so much that people started getting sick of me talking about it. The first game made me interested in art and writing, it was an experience I'll never forget. Like when you watch your favorite movie, listen to your favorite song or read your favorite book. it leaves a mark. That game affected me in a way that very few other media has ever done. Which is why this sequel was such a punch in the gut, and it didn't help that we waited 7 years for it.

    And I don't care that there are gay or trans characters in the game. I really couldn't give any less sh*ts. Though, as a bi woman who advocate for trans rights, I can clearly see that most of it is being used as a shield so people will look like bigots once they criticize anything about the game. I also find it very suspicious how even Neil Druckmann said that some of the game testers said they hated the game and that he was prepared for people hating it, and then nearly EVERY "professional" game critic out there gave it a 10/10, which is an INSULT to any video game ever who truly lived up to that score and earned it. It is NOT a 10/10, it is NOT a 0/10. I'd love to give the development team a completely different score; the people who made the animations, the sound, music, the graphics, the combat, the accessibility system - everything was completely awesome, an easy 9-10/10.

    But sadly, I don't play video games just for the graphics or the sound. Some of the best games ever created were amazing because of its incredible story, characters, deep lore, world design etc... The graphics and sound are just a wonderful bonus, but you cannot base your entire game upon it. Therefore, because it is a story driven game, I'm going to let the awful story overshadow everything I liked about the technical aspects of the game and give it a 4/10 overall. If it was a standalone with completely new characters whom I hadn't previously been so invested in and cared for so much, maybe I'd go up to a 5 or 6/10, but this is the highly anticipated sequel of one of the most beloved video games in history, which is why the fall is so much longer and harder.

    I would not advise ANYONE to pay for this game, at least not at full price. Watch it on Youtube, you'll be saving yourself a lot of money, because it's just not worth it.

Oh yeah and Abby part of the game for me was the most interesting part but not because of Abby even though I kinda liked her in the end. Scars was the most interesting parts of the game. Gameplay is intensive af and I love it. So satisfying weapons and I love gore in games. I'm not good at writing reviews, so I'm little all over the place but I still think people should play this before passing judgement. Joel's death, is handled immensely well, it is a fitting end for a man who killed maybe hundreds of people remorselessly through his lifetime. The semi strained relationship between Ellie and Joel also feels appropriate with her knowing that he lied to her about the fireflies. It makes sense that she not trust him 100%. I don't want to be one of these review trolls (clearly most of these negative reviews are fake), but did want to make it known that this game is a colossal disappointment. Everyone here is saying how they liked the graphics and voice acting but didn't like the story, which I agree with. But there are some other things that I really do not like:

    - The gameplay itself is boring and monotonous. Although the combat, crafting, stealth etc. are almost exactly the same as the first game, I think the pacing is bad here. The gameplay sections are really long (especially Seattle in the beginning), where getting from point A to B (whether it's traversal, exploration, clicker or combat encounters) takes a really long time. I found the pacing to be perfect in the first game. Usually a longer game is better, but I don't think that really worked here

    - On plot, I really do not like how you play in a flashback for almost the entire second half of the game. I have bias because I am not a huge fan of using flashbacks in fiction in general, but really, half of the game?!? It would be one thing if Abby's story was compelling and the gameplay was fun, but it wasn't. I think it was more just Druckmann's way of trying to have you sympathize with Abby and what she has been through so that you feel bad.

    I do think that the Abby hate has gone too far, she did spare Ellie twice. But, I also do not think that it is possible to sympathize with a person who slowly beats someone to death with a golf club.

    So yeah, I think this game sucks, even standalone, and if you compare to the first game, real bad. Way more boring and monotonous gameplay, and a story that tries to be edgy and revolutionary in games, but really is a waste of time. Most disappointing game of 2020.    … Expand

I feel neil had a different story planned but allowed a Hollywood writer (Halley Gross) come in a muck it all up and change everything! I believe the story was originally going to be tommy that died and not joel. I say this because in the trailer joel meets up with ellie not Jesse and it seems joel and ellie would of went after Tommy's killers and that, in my opinion, would have been a better story. The writing isn't like Neil's writing in this game and it was all over the place which isn't how neil writes at all. Seems awful funny that neil has always written great storys and now all of a sudden halley was involved in writing the story and its complete garbage. I feel neil has sold his soul to Hollywood and now his writing will be generic trash because he won't have the freedom to do what he wants and will have to listen to corporate Hollywood. I hope these bad scores (mostly from the writing) wakes neil up and allows him to get back to what he does best! If there is a third one, please dont screw it up as well!… Expand

To co se stalo s joelem po dvou hodinách hry mě sice šokovalo, ale neodradilo od hraní. Naopak mě fakt zajímalo jak se to bude vyvíjet. Pomalejší rozjezd hry za Ellie a první den v Seattlu jsem uvítal. Mrzelo mě že už nebylo více takových lokací s minimapou a otazníky cejtil jsem se chvíli jako v zaklínači. Každým dnem gradovala skvělá atomosféra. Zdlouhavý looting mi dlouhou dobu vůbec nevadil jsem typ hráče který opravdu do detailu prochází lokace nasává atmosféru a všímá si maličkostí. Zlom u mě nastal v polovině hry kdy jsem se dozvěděl že si za ellie nějakých deset hodin nezahraju. Najednou jsem hrál za holku která vypadá jako almara byla mi nesympatická už v první hodině kdy ani nevíte co provede a hra vám deset hodin cpe do chřtánu jak je to vlastně skvělá holka. Najednou přišlo znechucení lokace jsem probíhal mnohem rychleji gameplay byl sice za Abby akčnější a měli jste i nový arzenál zbraní, ale já si to prostě nemohl užít tak jako kdybych hrál za ellie nebo Joela nebo kohokoliv jiného kdo nerozbil oblíbený postavě hlavu golfovou holí. Příběh Abby mě proste nepřirostl k srdci neprobudila ve mě špetku empatie jen jsem chtěl mít tuhle pasáž za sebou. Až do epilogu. Jakmile Abby podruhé nechá ellie žít stoupne u mě. Najednou mi za ní v epilogu nebylo za těžko hrát. Náplast přišla v posledních dvou hodinách za Ellie které jsem si opravdu užil. Potom přišel samotný konec ze kterého jsem nemohl ani usnout. Ellie má oblíbená postava přijde o všechno o kamarády Joela asi i o Dinu jen kvůli tomu aby dokončila co začala. Když k tomu má dojít nakonec ji nechá jít. Takže nemá rodinu, pomstu a aby toho nebylo málo což mě nasralo asi úplně nejvíc nemá dva prsty a nemůže už hrát na kytaru. Alespoň už ne tak dobře. To mě jako kytaristu zasáhlo. Na Ellie jsem nejvíc miloval to že umí hrát na kytaru. Ani tohle na konec nedopadlo a já byl fakt zdrcenej a nasranej. Nakonec musím hru zhodnotit kladně protože mě celou dobu bavila i když bych si přál aby byl jiný konec a nemusel jsem hrát za tu mužatku.… Expand

    No one wants a woke game; this is like an expansion for the first game, as the gameplay is exactly the same; the only thing that changes is the story about the protagonist trying to kill the other protagonist during the entire game... until she decides not to kill her at the last second...

I didn't buy the excuse that the franchise is about Ellie and Joel. The first game story was fantastic! Why mess it up soooo bad!? The gameplay was fun (minus Abby parts because I didn't felt any satisfaction playing as her) but the story has dropped my score. If they make a third game, I will not bet my chips.… Expand

    Just finished it and this is first metacritic game review in my life. I understand why people are mad, but to me, this was one of the best game experience in my life. Could be only me, but I thought it was better than the first one. However, I have to admit that it was emotionally very challenging to play this game through.

Un comparto tecnico per il game play che mostra la il lavoro svolto dal tema nel corso di questi anni sul precedente capitolo e sugli uncharted, sebbene non sia privo di sbavature e a volte risulta noioso e ridondante.     É incrível 10/10 me vez sentir angustia, raiva, tristeza e felicidade, me fez chorar igual uma desgraçada. A historia é horrivelmente pesada e incrivelmente bem escrita.

    Good game. The graphics are insanely good and the characters are good and likeable. The story is a bit hit and miss and sometimes the choices the characters make don't make a lot of sense. The pacing is dreadfull in my opinion mostly because the story grinds to a hold about halfway through which is probably the point but i didn't care for it. This game doesn't deserve less than a 5 and anyone who is doing so without explaining in great detail about why is not a real fan of the last of us. Most of these reviews were put up before anyone could have finished the game. The plot ties together nicely during the end. I understand the game is a bit of a grind but it's got great action. Great environments. Stunning scenery. Ok writing, not great, but not trash. People giving the game a 0/10 should be ashamed to call themselves fans, This game ties in a lot with the first one and offers a lot of closure. The worst part about the writing is how obsolete most of the characters become other than Dina and abby. (and even Dina is pretty obsolete ) The game doesn't handle pacing well, but if you enjoy the pace then it's great. The unique enemy fights are a treat as I found myself freaked out more than once, especially when that blob thing in the hospital attacked us.

    I am mildly dissapointed in the easter eggs. Abby only finds coins mainly and for the majority of the game there is a bunch of letters left from people who have died or relocated. Not many of them were a good read, mostly I was looking for safe codes, but a few were actually nice to read. Ellie's collectibles come in the form of trading cards, which is okay, but I don't really understand them. I much preferred the original collecting of comic books as those were more in my interests. Perhaps Ellie could have collected video game discs? Or old boxes for video games.

    Playing as abby at the start was pretty meh, but her character really does improve and develop to the point where I found myself supporting her. Not to say she's ok, she's a monster like Ellie.

    Wow, just wow.. it's really very good. Amazing story, breathtaking graphics, incredible facial expressions and impeccable acting. This is a mark to game industry, i hope get more incredible games like this one in the years to come.

    The game is too long, part with Abby could be easily reduced. The plot is just a failure he lacks integrity.
    Cheap reception with violence does not catch, too trite.
    From a beautiful first part to a terrible second, what a disappointment ...
    The technical part is good especially the graphics.

The game is violent, like gorefest for no reason, tries really hard to make you want revenge and then show you as bad and Abby as good, you then play the other half of the game playing Abby, and it's shows how much of a good person she is compared to Joel.

    The game is painful to play, there is no pay off, the game literally spits you on the face, have no respect for the character that you love.

    Apparently, Neil Druckman saw a video when he was younger where he saw a man get beaten. He got mad, disgusted and wanted to destroy the people that, he wanted REVENGE, after the first game he thought that he could make other people feel like that about Abby and then prove them that the bad one was you all along and that the revenge gets you nowhere.

    But what Neil didn't saw coming I guess is that most of the people did not care if we were bad or not, we just cared about the characters that we loved, so the ending sounds and look cheap when you only wants to kill her. Other like me just lost all interest after seeing Joel getting destroyed (I finished it but did not care about anything after that).

    The game and the message just do not work.

    But one of the biggest problems is that all the problems and questions set by the first game about the world, characters, city, sickness, the cure... Just got ignored. After playing the last of us 2 for 20h the world and stories and everything around didn't move. It's just some drama about some people and all the important question are just ignored.    … Expand

    The excessively long story is clearly a platform for left-wing political ideologies, while key characters from the first game are abruptly and rudely killed off.

    Given the allegations of worker abuse at Naughty Dog and the lead developer’s affiliation to chauvinistic feminist journalists, this game should not be supported in any way.

    (TLOU1 was amazing though, go play that again instead!)

    The game was incredibly good, but I have mixed feelings, feelings of emptiness, feelings of anger, but I understand why it happened, why it had to be that way. I think everyone should play it.

    I give the rating 10/10 because the game has flies but it's still worth the story.

    Esse game te faz se sentir na pele da Ellie, poucos jogos mexem com as emoções dessa maneira, a história é perfeita, os gráficos MUITO bons. Precisávamos de uma protagonista forte, LÉSBICA e ainda por cima não sexualizada, pra mostrar que até no apocalipse existem pessoas como nós. Obrigada Naughty Dog por tudo!

Bad pacing, loss of focus, takes a massive turd on the first game. And throws in some cliche trops like the museum and the wounded animal bits to make up for the bad writing. Reminds me of spiderman 3, except it's worse because it's following The Last of Us. Disappointing.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Playing this game I had high expectations, and despite what the vast majority of user scores will tell you, it was succeeded. This game is all about death, hatred, and above all revenge, and it has a lot to say about these themes.

    Watching Ellie on her never-ending pursuit to avenge Joel and the things she did in order to achieve this, it was to put it simply brutal. Around the halfway point, when Ellie killed Nora who was just trying to protect her friend, I found myself unclear of what side I should be on if any. As for the ending, where Ellie decides to spare Abby even after everything, as much as people say it's anticlimactic, I understood why, and I felt an immense amount of sympathy and love for her as I watched her cry blood-soaked in the ocean.

    In a world where society has little to no traces of civilization left, one can either submit to hatred and violence, or fight it. In this story, we watch Ellie submitting to her anger again and again and again, and seeing her eventually show humanity to Abby who despite the horrific things she did is just trying to save her colleague. It was immensely emotional, but also immensely cathartic. The ending doesn't show what happens to Ellie after, but its an unsaid understanding that the rest of her life will be focused on redemption and acceptance.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
