    The Last of Us Part II is the best game for PS4 and I dare say the generation. Incredible graphics, excellent gameplay and a fantastic story. What a game! Thanks Naughty Dog for that masterpiece.

    To make the player feels even more connect to Abby and feel good about her, he would need to have a lot of backstory Before Joels death to make it durable and feel both sides Ellie and Abby

    The graphics are one of the best graphics i ever seen in a game even with Base Ps4 10/10

    Gameplay wise is fun and very cinematic making encounters feels not forced and surprising but feels a lot like the first one 7/10

    Exploration and looting feels fun and real 8/10

    But Story wise.....5(10

    It was something very different from the Part 1, but it was unforgettable. It’s adult game with adult screenplay. It’s unique game that I’ve never played before and I’ve never felt such complicated and different emotions to characters. Gameplay 10/10. I can’t even imagine how you guys made it. It’s a giant work and I know that many of you sacrificed a lot to create this masterpiece. ThankIt was something very different from the Part 1, but it was unforgettable.     The story just killed the game for me. The decisions that the main characters make are asinine. The new characters are as bland as a grain of rice on a paper plate in a snowstorm. Just classic morality of "bad things are bad" and a "revenge is bad".

    From my point of view, The last of us 1 was and will continue to be the best game, which best involved us emotionally. When asked about a sequel to the game in 2013, Neil was truthful and said it would be difficult to make a sequel to the story at the height of the first game.     Hooo boy, here we go.

    So this game is fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone who (1) loves great story telling (2) loves great graphics and (3) can deal with zombies and jump scares.

    I don't recommend this game to people who feel emasculated by the fact that the main character in this story is a lesbian—it is a shame that the rage of these people has tanked the user score of this game.

    The moment they killed off Joel it was difficult to go on and then force me to play the game as his killer! My favorite game ruined. I waited all this time for this. I want my money back, which I know will never happen

Story line is weak, N Dog forced to play with ugly trans gender on steroids..okay appearance but she killed beloved character Joel in 1st-2nd hour of gameplay..it was very dumb way.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. (SPOILERS!!!) To be honest... I REALLY love the game... The way they mirror Ellie's story to Abby's and make you feel for both of them... Of course in the beginning when i was playing as Abby in Seattle i didn't like it at all. I was just mad at her for what she did, but playing more and more with her and seeing what gave her that kind of hate, i felt that for her as well... I am not saying i liked her more than Ellie, because Ellie is the character we all know and love. And i totally felt more for her with the things that happened in the beginning of the game with Joel's death of course (which really broke my heart)... But after playing through Ellie's part of the story made it a bit softer with every kill from the people of the group in Jackson, and by the time we were playing as Abby i hated her, but seeing the bigger picture and looking back after finishing the game i see why they both did what they did... So yeah... I LOVE THIS GAME... Everything is just so well crafted from how the story ties in to the game play... Just wow... Good job Naughty Dog!!… Expand

It literally spits in your face with plot twists that make just about no sense to a video game , at least makes no sense in a way that Devs would actually want there plot to be that bad and just have HUGE holes . By the end of Part II, both the player and the characters are in such a low point both physically and emotionally that you come out of the experience wondering what the point of it all was? Unfortunately, The Last of us Part II's response to that question is such an unsatisfactory, weak, and vague answer, that it ultimately leaves a bitter taste in the player's mouth to the whole Last of Us Part II experience.    … Expand

As someone who considers the first game very important and holds it dear to their heart, I had high expectations for this game and if I were to say that the game lived up to them I'd be lying. The Last Of Us 2 has consistent issues with a wishy-washy plot and beating over your head that violence is bad while forcing you to enact the violence. It makes little sense considering the ending of the game but I feel like truthfully the game is good. It has so much potential and improves heavily on the gameplay from the first. Arguably the most stunning game on the PS4, The Last of Us 2 could have had it all. The visuals, the sound design, the performances, everything about it is good with the exception of the wishy-washy plot (and the plot holes that follow) and before anyone goes off to assume I am getting shelled out cash to write nice things about the game let me get it out there that not only has that been debunked like a million times but I'm a broke college student who purchased the game with my own money. Neil Druckmann does not know I exist, nor does he care no one is shoving me in the direction to write position things about the game. It took me thirty hours to play and I played on light if anyone is curious not that it's incredibly important.

    I think that the plot has too many plot holes, it also falters with Ellie's inability to let go and move on with her life even when others do. She does some things that don't ruin her character but are so frustrating to play. Narratively it made sense for Joel to die, I'm sorry to say it because I love Joel but it did. It also makes some sense that his death is sudden and misplaced because we're made to feel Ellie's anger, the restlessness and the need for revenge. How are we supposed to justify her huge revenge rampage if we aren't angry too? Though, I can't say I wouldn't have liked to see a Logan style story for the two of them. The main issue for me with the story is the whole ending and Abby. She's not a terrible character but the issue with her is that she's so incredibly unlikeable because a handful of minutes into knowing her she brutally murders a character we love. She is also a reflection of Joel whether anyone likes it or not, it becomes pretty clear with Lev's storyline with hers but I did not like her until Lev and Yara were shoved into her part of the story. I also think that the game was so heavily misleading in marketing that it comes across as lying to the audience which isn't a great look.

    However, that being said I found the game fast paced and so enjoyable despite the brutal violence and not wanting to play as Abby initially. A few parts of the first game really drag for me, mostly Boston and the first chunk of Pittsburg but there were very few bits of part two where I lacked interest to keep playing. And I need to give the game credit because I did not know where it was going a lot of the time, only to watch the plot unravel as you go through the days in the weird non-linear way they structure it. I wanted to play as Ellie more, only wanted to play as Ellie actually but I came to really enjoy Abby's parts of the game. Especially considering how horror driven it got and had far more infected enemies than human. The Seraphites were also pretty frightening and jarring. I jumped when Ellie got shot with an arrow the first time. There's just so much about this game that's good and the plot holes just weigh it down which sucks so bad because the potential is right there.

    A lot of people though are just taking a piss on the game because Joel dies, Abby has big arms and Ellie is gay which will never cease to be clown behavior to me but that's none of my business I suppose. This is my review and I enjoyed the game, thought it lacked for valid reasons. Keeping the messy plot in mind though I still can't give it a super low rating because there was no part of the game where I thought, I'm miserable and never want to play this again or that I regretted purchasing it because I didn't. The game is sad, it's brutal and becomes a little too much at times. It is not the sequel that Ellie or Joel deserved and I hope they take note that while you don't always have to do what the audience wants, it isn't an excuse for the messy writing. So much of this game was a pleasant surprise, I liked it much more than I thought I would knowing the leaks ahead of release but there is plenty I also don't like. The game isn't simply good or bad, but it also isn't a garbage fire like everyone is making it out to be.

    If you're going to review the game so badly because of an "agenda", either watch a playthrough or play it. The supposed "woke agenda" lot of people are going off about is in no way harmful or being shoved down your damn throat. This is nothing new, Left Behind came out forever ago. Please grow up and go play something else.

    Also Ashley Johnson acted the **** out of this game and I hope she gets some kind of nomination or reward for it because god damn    … Expand

    Их просто море. Окружение – это отдельный рассказчик, с каждой новой игрой разработчики прыгают выше головы.
    + Режиссура.
    Тут дело не в ВАУ моментах, в игре их мало. А постановке кадра, музыки, звукового дизайна, монтажа и общей кинематографичности геймплея и кат-сцен.
    + Сюжет.
    Для меня, он слабее 1-ой части. Но структурно сюжет стал сложнее и неоднозначнее. Он хороший, поставлен прекрасно. Насчёт SJW-повестки. Она проскальзывала в первый 10 минутах игры. 2 минутная кат-сцена. Он лишняя, мне она не понравилась. 2 минуты из 24 часовой игры.
    + Музыка
    Её можно отнести к режиссуре, но музыка в игре играет всегда в тему, она подчёркивает настроение игры в нужные моменты.
    Минусы:
    - Даунгрейд анимации
    Помню я был в шоке от первого показа геймплея. Графика, вроде на том же уровне. Но разница в анимации между тем роликом и релизом видна не вооруженным взглядом.

    Вот смотрю я на инфополе вокруг обычных игроков и поражаюсь глупости, ненависти и дезинформации. Это троллинг, постирония или искренняя ненависть? Мне всё равно. Когда Даниэля Вавру с его Kingdome Come обвиняли в расизме радикальные бойцы за соц. справедливость, я был на его стороне, когда Days Gone ругали за наличие «типичного белого персонажа», я был на стороне разработчиков, когда Ubisoft и EA пихают SJW – мусор только ради пиара. Где представители меньшинств были просто так. Они были болванками без какой-либо проработки. Но тут мы получили дорогую, качественную, ЛИНЕЙНУЮ AAA –игру, которая не боится расссказать серьёзную, жесткую и интересно структурированную историю. Её закидывают гнилыми помидорами незаслуженно. В игре нет микротранзацкий, багов, гринда. Люди, вы в своём уме? Вы сейчас ни чем не лучше SJW – скама. Если для вас так важна ориентация, то не слушайте музыку Элтона Джона и не смотрите фильмы с участием
    Иэна Маккеллена. ведь они геи. Ведь на проработку и качество исполнения персонажей вам плевать. Я могу понять тех, кому игра не понравилась по разным вещам. Это нормально. Мне не нравится Mass Effect, God of War 3, Shadow of the Colossus, но мне хватает ума не лить необоснованный поток помоев в сторону игры.     Gameplay is intense and it's probably the most beautiful game I've seen. Also the technical mastery that naughty dog shows with how well optimized the game was for my standard PS4 is truly amazing. They avoided the jet engine sound of the original on PS3. However the story is monotonous and lacks enough focus to truly inspire any real emotion from you as a play, unlike the first game. It reeks of a creator who believes their creative vision could have no faults. It's basically George Lucas with the prequels again. The game bandies around interesting ideas but it never truly commits to then and every time I began to feel something for the story, the game would cut to another character and completely take me out of the emotional and thought provoked place. If this were a game franchise less known for story, I could see it gaining the acclaim that games such as MGSV have even with their weakened emphasis on story. This franchise however, is completely reliant on the story and it's emotional effect on you as a player and fails to commit to the ideas it brings up enough to provide a troluly thought provoking experience. Disappointed to say the least, I hate that this game felt like a slog but it did and I can't lie. 4/10.

Toutes les personnes qui sont énervés pour la mort de Joël, qu'il n'a pas eu une mort "mémorable", on est dans un monde apocalyptique plein de monde meurt de la même manière que celle de Joël.
    Et si vous pensez que Abby est la méchante et que c'est n'importe quoi qu'il nous la font jouer, vous avez rater tout le sense du jeu, il n'y a pas de méchants ou de héros.
    Ellie et Abby font exactement la même chose, vous ne pouvez pas dire que Abby est pire que ellie ou inversement.     TLOU2 it's entirely an artwork. The history and gameplay goes more deep than a regular story, you contact with the characters, the environment, and the gameplay. Few videogames (not to say if this is the only one) can make you emotionally and physically connect along the whole gameplay. Really an artwork! 10/10.

    My personal disappointment of this year. Really love the first part and used to play it for a while. Now this seems like a looooong movie with some interactions. The first 2 hours are really boring and slow, ordinary explorations and a few “zombies”. They really tried to dramatize the story but now it looks like a psychological thriller. Don’t recommend to anybody.

Ich verstehe das viele Fans diesen Umschwung in der Story scheiße finden aber ich bin ganz ehrlich dieses Spiel hat mich wie auch der Vorgänger durch so viele Gefühle fahren lassen das ich finde das es diese Wertung nicht verdient hat und vorallendingen auch die Entwickler nicht das sie jetzt sieben Jahre mit und an diesem Blockbuster gearbeitet haben und ich finde das es wirklich ein Meisterwerk des Technischen und des Spielerischen geworden ist. Ich würde mich wirklich freuen wenn das Rating nochmal hochgeht das ich auch nicht verstehen kann wie die Wertung so sein kann obwohl nur 6%aller Spieler weltweit die Trophäe für das durchspielen erhalten haben und ich hoffe das die Leute die es noch durchspielen ihm eine bessere Wertung geben.     The game looks amazing and the mechanics are unreal but it's all for nothing cuz the story has to be one of the worst in gaming. The game is slow and makes no frickin sense. It takes a big ol poop on the game before that was so amazingly put together. It's so frustrating that we had to wait 7 years for this hot pile of garbage.

Love how it looks, but the clunky game play and poor Narrative of story is just a major letdown, killing off main characters who are loved and drove the story to a point has been done in the past and it has been done right many times, this game didn't do a great job with the same, I get all the hate around that but the actual dislike for the game itself stems from how the plot fails to wrap up the story in the way it should have, justifying the route they decided to go with it, if there is a 3rd installment and they can redeem themselves from the half baked writing this time around. But for now I'll not be going beyond the demo and play through's.

    Bad on the studio going rogue on the dev's and artists and forcing them through crunches by underpaying or straight up denying pay and firing off staff to keep the others in check.    … Expand
