    You can't buy me.
    This game is a living statement that money doesn’t solve all problems. Graphics? Great.truly impressive. story? Trash. Character development? Trash. Character Relationship development? Trash. Gameplay? Straight out of 2013.
    And honestly.. all these game critics who gave this game 10/10, are shooting themselves in the foot

    Amazing game! Dark, gritty and very realistic. It sets a very high standard in gameplay, story and visuals. It stuck with me, I can't stop thinking and discussing and going over small details that blew me away. A complete masterpiece and a very worthy continuation of Ellie's story.

    Incredible game. The story was hard to accept but once you take the emotion out of it, it’s not hard to see the ambition of Naughty Dog’s gameplay decisions were an incredible risk that payed off. My real rating for the game based on the story and gameplay as Abby would be an 8 but theres a lot of idiots rating this a zero because they haven’t finished the game and came to rate it beforeIncredible game. So here it is, with a better number because I want people to read this... Naughty dog has fallen very low with this one! you can't silence people, we pay for your game and we deserve to have an opinion. What a disgusting company.

    I was truly hoping the leaks were not entirely true, and I was right, they were not even close. It turned out the game is WORST. Yes, the graphics are amazing... yes, the character modeling is breathtaking, the textures, scenarios, and the gameplay are great and fun.. if you dont care about the story then this game might be one of the best yet. But honestly, the last of us has ALWAYS been about the STORY and the CHARACTERS... how they grow together and share a caotic world. Not how they go around murdering each other and changing everything you came to love when playing the first part.

    What they did to them and the story itself is UNFORGIVEABLE.
    Also, most of the last trailers they showed were 100% misleading, showing Joel interacting with Ellie in several occasions, looking older as if it was happening at the time and it was all a LIE. All of the conversations they had were "memories" and "flashbacks". They actually went into the game after it was done and changed Joel's appearance for the trailers to make us believe it was new footage and cinematics of the game, and on the ACTUAL game is different, Joel is young and that is not happening in real time of the game. So dissapointing, you thought no one would notice? Why are you trying to fool your own FANS???

    If you plan to buy this game, wait a couple of months when people actually see it for what it is, and it goes to the ground and they sell it for $9.99. Don't waste $60!!!! and if possible, do not give your money to this disgusting company that only lies and cares about tricking fans into buying something is not even worth it, while striking down honest working youtubers for even mentioning the name of the game, just to try to avoid people from finding out what a bad game this was going to be.

    This is another "cool loking" 3rd person shooter game with a LAME story. nothing more.    … Expand

    I can only assume people who have review bombed and left incredibly low rated reviews are A) XBox fanboys, B) Fans of other titles that they consider to be the greatest game of all time and do not want TLOU getting that kind of recognition again, C) a combination of both. Note, I'm saying the 'incredibly low ratings' - people can dislike and like different things and that is fine, but the 0's - 4's truly have some weird ulterior motive - if you are looking at reviews to help you decidee, then you can rightfully ignore them. I will say this as well about metacritic - how many of these reviews are verified? 4.5 stars currently on the PS store - those will be ratings from verified purchases.

    As for what may be genuine negative reviews... I've seen a few complaints about *spoiler* not enough Joel and Ellie time and the ending because it wasn't a happy fairytale story - I can't help but audibly lol the world the game is set in and even the real world is not some happy fairytale.

    As well as complaints about playing as Abby - I must admit, early on, I was really not happy about this, but after completing the game, I think this was brilliant from ND. The world is not black and white, Good and evil, there's different shades of grey. Joel was a bad person after Sarah - that much was made clear by Tommy in the 1st game, Tommy talks about having nightmares from their time together. There was a vaccine that would help heal the world. Joel, although most of us would do the same, if given an in game option to do so may I add, stopped that and saved Ellie! Whilst we love Ellie, it's the selfish and wrong thing to do. He killed innocent people. What we do in the game as Ellie is seek revenge, which is exactly what Abby and her crew did... but instead she let Tommy and Ellie live - Joel kills the surgeon, Abby's Dad and Marlene. The game does a brilliant job of not making that crew come across as just some generic evil bad guys, rather we see them as a part of a community much like Jackson... something else that I thought was good was the crew didn't even know Ellie was after them - they thought she was a Scar/seraphite as that's who they were in conflict with. Abby has some redemption with Yara and Lev and her and Lev's relationship felt some what similar to Joel and Ellie, thrown together through bad circumstances. Before Santa Monica I found myself wanting Ellie to stay at the Farmhouse, although I was happy to get more gameplay, because I knew she may end up alone, which is what she feared most. I think I know Joel would not want her to get revenge, but instead to live happily and peacefully with Dina and JJ.. Ellie however is suffering from PTSD. She cannot stop thinking about Joel.

    One thing I may have changed was perhaps maybe play as Abby more before seeing Joel killed, but at the same time, although the most obvious reason why, it was good to find out along the way.

    I've sadly also heard people are upset that Ellie is gay and Lev is a trans - to those people, grow up.    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II could be a pretty good game, but Naughty Dog didn’t give a damn and trample what the players in the first part loved (you lived and empathized with the main characters), and now you don’t understand why this is happening on the screen. Disappointment, resentment, anger - this is what this game will give you.

    Fantastic game, gameplay is very similar to the first one with the new dodge mechanic making smoother more fun gameplay. Playing Ellie and Abby are both fun, graphics great as usual, violence is top notch, the gore is spot on, the story is great. If you didnt see the sequel turning into a revenge story you are an idiot strong cast with Ellies story getting better and better

    Игра не плоха.А в техническом плане-это лучшая игра поколения.Но вот есть проблемы с сюжетом( ЛГБТ не причем ),геймлэй конечно это вкусовщина,но он мне лично надоел спустя часов 15,не позволяет мне поставить выше оценку

    Amazing and incredible, from the beginning to the end. Game mechanics are the best in its genre, graphics are beyond anything we have seen in the generation, the story has been great, even though I understand there's people who may be pissed off taking into account the risks that ND has taken, but I strongly believe these work great. Everyone must able to play this game!

I was mad at all the people **** on the game because i assumed it was bandwagon against a developer who i truly respect and the first half of this game is amazing. Then you get to the second half with the worst possible story and character you will ever meet.     Это история вызывает у меня такое отвращение, что даже печаль. От бесцеремонной смерти персонажа, которого я полюбил, в первой части. Это так отвратительно даже писать, что я даже не могу, что это заставило меня плакать, как будто на самом деле это заставило меня плакать и злиться. И про что вообще 2 часть ? НИ О ЧЕМ.
    Вы просто играли с моими нервами и слезами. Просто НЕ ДО МЕСТИ. Элли не отомстила смерти Джоэла, Элли потеряла все.... Феминистки, трансгендеры, лгбт-движуха все это высер, который выводит на эмоции.
    Так засрать игру, это надо постараться. Представьте себе, что вы играете более 40 часов геймплея для этой концовки. Ну вот пример Red Dead Redemption 2. Только представьте себе, что Джон Марстон пощадил Мику Белла, а потом пошел домой и стал играть на гитаре....Даже Death Stranding был гораздо лучший конец, чем один из нас часть 2. Даже сериал каратель 1 и 2 сезон финал был шикарный. Во там настоящая месть а не один из нас часть 2.
    Даже God of War III Кратос убивает всех богов на своем пути вплоть до Зевса только для того, чтобы понять, что его месть завершилась разрушением мира.
    А Один из нас 2 Элли убивает всех на своем пути, но не убивает Эбби аххахаахах. Какой позор
    Если кто-то хочет играть в игру, которая делает темное повествование превосходно, я бы рекомендовал Spec Ops: The Line

    И эта игра получила 10/10 ? - А ? Нет ! Еще раз нет !
    Эта игра заслуживает 6/10, потому что да, эта игра выглядит хорошо, играется хорошо, и вы все еще убиваете кучу придурков Эбби. Но как произведение искусства это просто чистый мусор, ужасный сюжет для ужасного конца, Джоэл умер за убийство невинного, но его дочь Сара тоже была невинна.

    Знайте...Я 2 часть ждал максимум на подобии Война миров Z с концовкой тоже. Итоги 2 часть про недо-месть и насилие.....Это просто ни о чём...

You don't introduce a new character, let her get saved by Joel, who is well established and one of the two most beloved characters, then let the new character murder him in the most horrific way possible. And as if that wasn't already enough, you make me play as her, to then try and kill the the other established and most beloved character.

    My only sliver of hope was that Ellie makes it back home and atleast lives happily ever after with Dina and JJ, but naaah, you had to take that from her, too.
    Then to throw ghostpeppers on the wounds you already just threw salt on, you render her unable to play the song that Joel made for her and show us how she goes into the woods before rolling the credits, like she's about to off herself.

    I will never ever again buy a game that Neil Druckman had anything to do with. Dude is f'd up in his head...

    I wish I could forget this game and just have the ending of the first one in mind.

    I have never wanted to get my money back as badly as with this game. Because even though there were games from EA and Ubisoft, that made me feel robbed, they never emotionally scared me like the piece of garbage that is The Last of Us 2!    … Expand

I don´t care about any of the new characters and none of them even come close to Joel and Ellie from the first part.
    The game looks amazing and the gameplay is actually very fun. I enjoyed exploring the vast areas of the game, collecting resources, crafting and modding my weapons. The changes to the combat system are minor but sensible. The battles are tense, action packed and brutal.
    The Last of Us Part II is not a bad game. I enjoyed playing it and even though the story, the supposed heart and soul of the game, was a sad caricature of the original, I still finished it within a few days and couldn´t lay off the controller. So I can´t honestly rate this game too badly.

    If you´re new to the series or don´t really care about it you´re going to have a good time with it, just wait until it´s on sale. But if you´re like me and you love the first game, Part II will leave you with an overwhelming feeling of disappointment.

Do I wish the story had been told differently? For some parts, yes. Joel is, and will always be, my favourite to control.

    Playing as Abby allowed us to get another POV, which was needed. We saw the reason they acted as they did, and their motivation. It gave depth to what could have been a one dimensional villain.

    Abby got her revenge, showed no remorse for her murders, then got to sail off into the sunset and start a new better life after killing Joel and a bunch of her own people.

    Ellie had absolutely nothing to do with the decisions Joel made killing fireflies, she's just trying to give justice to Abby from her POV. Ellie showed remorse and was traumatized by her actions. Yet in the end it's Ellie who loses everything.

The first game was an example of how game making of a single player should be done to really captivate the audience. This has now been followed up with another rollercoaster ride of emotion and enjoyment.
    As previously mentioned, the first game was an absolute masterpiece so as with any masterpiece you don't mess around with it. Naughty Dog have picked up where they left off and made small enhancements along the way. The fighting mechanics are now more agile and has you less worried about having your face ripped apart. The stealth aspects have been worked on to allow you to conserve your ammo but still eliminate the enemy effectively. This is not an open world game but you can still roam relatively freely to explore and scavenge supplies.
    The whole point of a game is to provide entertainment and enjoyment to the player. The Last of Us 2 does exactly that and takes you on another epic journey. The negative reviews are an insult to those that have created something very special.    … Expand

    Lastima que echaron a perder a uno de los personajes más queridos de esta forma. El final no me gustó, se sabe que la venganza trae más venganza pero Ellie recorrió tanto para vengarse y al final no lo hace? Ok, tiene sus razones para cambiar su forma de pensar, o simplemente no hubiera ido al final a pelearse con ella para que la deje suelta. Y por sus malas acciones llegó a perder a Dina, que en vez de quedarse con ella se fue a lo difícil. El juego, en sentido de gráficos, detalles, animaciones está excelente y me encanta el trabajo que hizo Naughty Dog, lo único que falló fue en su historia. Last of us 2 has great new game mechanics that make fighting enemies much more fun and unique and the play style mirrors that of the first last of us. However the story is DOG **** and no matter how much i enjoyed the gameplay,mechanics,graphics it does not do justice for how poorly this story was put together. 7 years too see joel killed off in the first hour or so and not even a meaningful death that's what hurts the most.

    The game is simply incredible, incredible story, with new characters very well made, and old characters very well worked out, besides having good motivations for each character, the gameplay is very well done and realistic. The game is a roller coaster of emotions and besides being heavy it is exciting and nobody would be prepared for this experience.

When I played as the main antagonist it just didn't feel right I guess you could say and the message just didn't sit well. Abby was kind of contradicting herself at points also. Overall just graphics were amazing and so was the gameplay had a lot of fun playing through it. Now the ending was I have no idea just so many questions and the fact that Ellie lost so many things close to her and everyone basically loses. I get the message you could say that life isn't fair nothing goes as planned but I thought it could of been planned a lot better. Plus all the questions I had where are Dina and JJ? Is Ellie going back to Jackson? Are they still together? Will Ellie still have nightmares? I just hope that this isn't the end of our journey with Ellie and I hope they can make another game of this awesome franchise and they use this as a learning experience and improved.… Expand

I had a small piece of hope that it would be at least somewhat good as I already expected Joel would probably die in the squeal just not in the way the leaks showed. At the end of the game, I agree with Ellies's decision to still go after Abby cause 'it can't all be for nothing'. It does not make sense that she would almost just let Abby go, she had just killed a man to get information on where Abby is. The ending is inconsistent with Ellie's character, as the entire game she has been killing people to try and get to Abby, and it is stupid she did not just shoot her in the head. Ellie's ending is bad and she does not even get revenge if she had just killed her straight away all that would be different is she would still have 10 fingers. A waste of £160. Collapse… Expand

The new characters just are not interesting, nor they work on them and instead try to get sympathy by cheap methods (pregnancy, being cute), but they are still just generic npcs with almost not known backstory. Then you also have all the incoherences and nonsense.

    Story (no spoilers):
    The big issue people are having with the game is the story. I enjoyed the story a lot. I understand why Abby was so mad and I understood why Joel was so trusting. I understand why Ellie was so stubborn and why the ending was the way it was. Honestly I thought the ending was way to long until the actual very end when I finally understood why naughty dog drew it out. The game left me laughing, yelling, screaming, swearing (with OH $#!T Moments). I ran through the game in three days and I'm definitely going to play it again once a patch comes out for the new console.

    My reasons for why it got an 8 and not 10:
    1) Almost all the missions are pretty similar. Go from point A to point B and kill hunters/zombies on the way. I would have really liked the game to change up some of the missions. Having every mission feel the same left me feeling fatigued at times.
    2) Partner AI. There were many times during my play through when whoever I was with on a mission would either completely block me from evading an enemy, or just downright be visible while I'm sneaking. The second issue doesn't actually effect game play but it does pull me out of the immersion a little considering I'm prone in the grass next to a hunter and my partner is crouched just chilling in the open.
    3) Looting. There is so much looting you have to do if you play the game on moderate difficulty or harder. Basically a 3rd of the game is opening drawers. some times I just wanna blast through enemies. I think a solve to this problem would be cheats for once you beat the game so you can replay a mission fully stacked with unlimited ammo.. That sounds really fun.

    Summary:
    All in all I loved the game and was thoroughly impressed. They brought next gen to current consoles and I think they deserve props for that. The story of revenge claws its way through the game and makes you feel empathetic for both leading characters.    … Expand

You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.

    If you loved the original for its great characters and well-paced story – stay away from this game. However, if you’re aching to sink into the depths of depression, or just want to cut some throats and burn some zombies – Part II will deliver. [Issue#247, p.72]
