    Juego para hacerte pensar y del cual disfrutas cada minuto, es cierto que hay situaciones que a primera vista pueden parecer forzadas, pero en mi opinión hay que analizar bien la historia y desengranar a cada personaje para comprender mejor cada situación. En mi opinión es una obra de arte que además te aporta una visión diferente y constructiva de las ideologías de género y de laJuego para hacerte pensar y del cual disfrutas cada minuto, es cierto que hay situaciones que a primera vista pueden parecer forzadas, pero en mi opinión hay que analizar bien la historia y desengranar a cada personaje para comprender mejor cada situación. En mi opinión es una obra de arte que además te aporta una visión diferente y constructiva de las ideologías de género y de la diversidad que existe hoy en día en nuestra sociedad y que por desgracia parte de la sociedad no comprende.     While it took me a while to finish it (July 14), I haven't read or watched any reviews and leaked information about the game prior to my first playthrough. Though I watched some trailers.

    Starting with Graphics and Gameplay.
    I can't say much about it but, if Naughty Dog made their best looking game, then this is it.
    Every detail crafted in this game is high quality. The attention to detail for every interaction
    is also marvelous. The animations and motion capture are realistic.

    Music is still a very strong point in this game. It adds to the immersion and emotion of the game.
    Sound effects are also very good, and seemed like true-to-life.

    Can't say much about the story. After watching that most talked about scene, the game became predictable and boring. As you progress, this game is like doing the opposite what made the first game so compelling, so likable with characters who are relatable and interesting that anyone can feel like they're real people.
    Throughout the game, it became unexciting and depressing. Can't say much about how violence was being depicted on this game. There are times that certain points in the game should have been changed, but for the shock factor, it made through the final product.
    This game felt like Naughty Dog's approach about revenge is to disassociate the fans from the first game and forget about it.
    There were also scenes that I think should have been written better to have a better closure to plot points left behind from the first game and some scenes that i felt placed wrongly in the game. Some of these scenes were a flashback, that felt like telling a story too late.

    As I close my experience with the game, it is unfair to not share one part I really liked, and it was the "Birthday Gift" sequence. It reminded me of what TLOU is all about.    … Expand

    Fantastic game, great story and brilliant gameplay. Part 2 know it's best features and highlights them. New enemies are frustrating and vary your approach to the game. Might disagree with the way naughtydog have taken the story, but cannot disagree with the feel of the game.

    One of the best games I’ve ever played! So many people have been so critical but HOW CAN U CRITIQUE SOMETHING SO GOOD???????? the storyline had me feeling all the feels and the gameplay was amazing! I loved watching the story unravel! Can’t wait to play it again!

Joel was killed in the first hours and all this game is about revenge and LGBT. The transgender "boy" absolutely doesn't mean anything for the story and I don't know why Naughty Dogs added it. Tolerance in post-apocalypsis time where anyone can kill you to grab your stuff and food? C'mon… Expand

    Liked most parts of the game, even understood that the death of a specific important character was part of the story line. Was alright with the LGBT path as well.

Some reviews on here and elsewhere are hard on the game for its social justice, LGBTQ themes (again no spoilers from me). Such bad press is unwarranted and unfortunate considering the genuine quality on display by the team at Naughty Dog. I'm pretty sure that some gay/transgender people would survive the apocalypse, and the population left around to deal with the infected would harbour some of the prejudices and presuppositions our society faces today. The game does a good job of demonstrating how existing issues survive the outbreak. Anyways...story is top-notch, and the performance by Ashley Johnson as Ellie is even better than before. TLOU2 will go down as one hell of a final hurrah for the PS4. I do hope there's a Part 3 on PS5, if, however, they can find a story as compelling as Part 2. If not, then Part 2 will be the finale of a terrific, very memorable series.… Expand

    Horrible, just horrible. Had great expectations from Naughty dog after the first game 'The last of us', that game was beautiful while this one in an abomination. I request everyone to not waste their prescious money and time on this game. This one only deserves to be called Worst game of the year.

    This is honestly my favorite game i’ve ever played. The story,Graphics, Gameplay is perfect. Most of the negative reviews on this game are by people who haven’t even played the game or don’t even understand the point of the story. If your contemplating on whether or not to get it i suggest you do.You'll love it.

None of the characters are interesting or matter, and the moment they start to matter, they're killed. Not worth anyones time or effort. After the amazing TLOU we get something that technically amazing - graphics and gameplay (although very samey and more noticeable on 2nd play through) but the Story is the biggest let down. Pacing and shock surprises (which are cheap and easy). Dialogue is poor and story writing is garbage and very underwhelming and generic. I can play TLOUWhat can I say that has not already been said.     Many people dislike the fact that Joel dies and the way he does. Of course I do, too. But if you were expecting a fairytale where everyone lives happily ever after, then you didn't even understand the ending of the first game.

    I think the main point people who dislike the game are missing is the parallel between Joel and Ellie's story and Abby's story.
    Don't get me wrong, I HATED Abby, but at least I understand the motives behind her actions. I think the game makes a great job putting things into perspective. She isn't just a mindless evil villain, who enjoys killing. She is also a daughter, a friend, a PERSON.
    Imagine she, her friends and her father were the protagonists of the first game. Then we would be rooting for them instead.
    It seems that people missed the similarities between Abby/Lev and Joel/Ellie, too... but I want to keep this review short, so find them yourself ;)

    Speaking of Joel and Ellie, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect way to develop their relationship after the ending of the first game. Those flashback-scenes are truly amazingly crafted tear-jerkers: beautiful, heartwarming and bittersweet.

    To sum things up and make a point, you should be open minded when playing this game. Don't expect some cliché narrative. Be prepared for some major twists and try to understand them.
    This game is truly an emotional roller coaster.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I grew to love Abbey immensely, I really enjoyed playing as her, I felt her love for her Dad and Owen. I loved her strength.

    It was brutal playing as Ellie in that fight on the beach. I kept just backing away, as I felt that Ellie should realise that they both have lost people that they love, that they are both the same inside, and that all this retaliation is pointless. I guess she did in the end but it should have been before that fight when they were both on their knees. I know Ellie wants that final revenge that Abbey got with Joel, but Ellie forgave Joel (or at least tried to understand him) for stopping the Fireflies from killing her, did Ellie finally also resonate with Abbey's hurt, when it was almost too late? It's all so tough and heartbreaking for them all. I now want to follow Abbey and Lev after they leave on the boat. I'm sad that Abbey can't go and visit Owen in the Aquarium.    … Expand

    Personally, I think the game is a tense ride all the way through, and it had my insides all twisted up, but I really liked that, actually. It is an unforgiving and cathartic emotional experience, and I quite loved it. I am gearing up to play it again when my emotional reserves fill again. This game gave me closure the firsg one didn't, and I loved its ultimately hopeful ending.

Story was incredible, heartbreaking, hard to swallow in some moments. Was really hard to keep going at some points as it's very gritty. But I'm glad I did. I've played a further 3 times now and it still doesn't cease to amaze me. My game ofincredible. The acting is nuanced and realistic, and sound effects sound natural. Story is very interesting and emotional, with lots of unique characters that experience various hardships and traumatic experiences, and characters motivations aren't just black and white.     awesome, definitly a master piece, great work neil druckman and the all naughty dog studio, i give a 10 because the game needs support because of the review bombing , so 9.5 would be a great mark as same as god of war, red dead 2 or the witcher 3 for me.

    Naughty Dog did a great job with this game and I really cannot understand all the hate of the community! Even if I would not have written the story in that way, the story telling is just phenomenal! I can't wait to it again!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I would give this game an 8 out of 10. My reason behind this is that the gameplay was outstanding. The soundtrack was outstanding. The story not so much. First, I think that the way Joel died was not an honorable death for a character we were all so attached to. He deserved to die of old age or a natural cause rather than being beaten to death. Second, Abby. I find the idea for being able to play as the antagonist interesting but not a lot of people dig playing as the character who murdered a character we loved. When playing as her I felt that maybe it was only there to prolong game time. I think maybe little cutscenes from time to time would have been better. Third, the ending. Personally I was okay with Ellie not killing Abby. Only because it was supposed to show that Ellie still had a good side to her. The part of her she had when Joel was around. Although it did make me feel like that last few hours of the game were pointless. I think they should have just ended it at the point where Ellie had a home and family. I also hated the fact that when she returned home, everything and everyone she loved left her. Anyways that was my opinion on the game.… Expand

    Don't play this game, just be happy with the ending of "The Last of Us 1" this game ruins the first one. The story is awful, it takes forever to get to the point and when it finally does it blows right past it, the motivations at the end of the game make no sense. The story is shallow, it's basically John Wick hunts down John Wick. all the character are unlikable and moody

    Graphics are awesome but as a narrative game it failed in everyway and gameplay wlkese all characters feel the same and plays the same as the first one, except 1 or 2 new gimmiks... It feels like a gamble the devs took and they lost.

Real people make bad choices, good and bad are not universal and depend on the angle. I enjoyed every bit including the ending.     The first game is probably my favourite game of all time and this is coming from a PC gamer. The story of the first brings out the emotions that i thought i never had inside of me. The second came and I stayed away from all the leaks and news so that I can go in with a fresh set of mind and within the first hour of playing, i wish i had just look at the leaks in the first place. There are good things in this game: music is good, sound is better than the first, graphic and environment is breathtaking... But that is what you would expect after 7 years of development, , gameplay is fine, not terrible but not amazing neither, dialogue is poorly written, almost every interactions between characters are corny and cringe, but the core of the problem of this game is the story. There are three major things that ruin the game: Joel's death, Abby and the ending. First of all, I don't mind killing an important character like Joel, but the way that the developers did it was purely for shock value and after playing through the whole game and reach the ending, makes you realized that Joel's death is extremely pointless. Next is the elephant in the room, Abby. No, its not about how she look, is how she was written and introduced. We know nothing about this woman before and when we play as her and after finishing her playthrough we still know nothing about her. She was introduced and 20 minutes later, she killed the most important character of the franchise, and it does not help when straight after she killed the characters you love does you get to know about her justification and why she is doing the thing she is doing. Also her justification is pure cliche and it is clear as daylight that the devs tried so hard to make us like Abby by degrading Ellie. There is so much thing wrong with Abby that you can goes on for days discussing it. Finally is the ending. The devs tries to tell us that killing and revenging is bad, Ellie is a terrible person and Abby deserve to live. Then explain the hundreds of people that they both killed just to get to that point and I just can't understand the thinking process of degrading Ellie like that. She does nothing wrong to deserve any of this Abby and in the end she has to live with her fear. The story is a shotgun blast to the knee and a golf club to the head to any people who is passionate about the first game. This is already a terrible year and somehow Naughty Dogs made it worse by lying to us and mistreating us multiple times just to cover up their own mistakes. The slow paced start of the game works well, and getting a glimpse of the life Ellie and Joel have had over the last five years in Jackson is great. When the game gets really going you see all the different game mechanics work together well, and the emotional beats of the story work really well.

    Ashley Johnson delivers again with her portrayal of Ellie, giving a nuanced, emotional, and layered performance throughout the game which really makes you connect with the character. The story works well on the whole, hitting plenty of emotional beats and memorable moments, with only a minor criticism relating to the mid game perspective shift. The Abby character, well played by Laura Bailey, works well enough, but the real strength of the game for me is the journey Ellie goes on in her quest for revenge. The other new characters of Dina and Jesse work really well, and are great additions to the series, and their interactions with Ellie give you a new perspective on Ellie, Lev though feels more of a narrative device to show you Abbys redemptive side. The cutscenes are all expertly done, and the last scene of Ellie and Joel being one that will live long in my memory.

    On the technical side of things this game is amazing. The graphics are the best on the system, with realistic character models and environments, and the animation is top drawer. The game environments and level design are some of the, if not the best when it comes to this type of game. The sound design and soundtrack is also another strength the game has, evoking emotional responses throughout the game. The gameplay and game mechanics are some of the best in a third person action adventure, with everything feeling intuitive, and the various weapons all feel great to use against the enemies. Improvements in npc AI also is a welcome addition, offering more challenging gameplay.

    In closing I’d just say this is a great game worthy of the praise it has had, and though the death of Joel early on is a bone of contention for many who love that character, it is the driving force behind the game and why it’s easy to see Ellie’s motivations. At the games end I was left emotionally shattered by the trials and trauma Ellie had gone through, and was left hoping she was heading back to Jackson after leaving the abandoned farm.    … Expand

    Wow, well what can I say about this game. This game is intense, it is infuriating, it is ingenious, it is immoral, it is incredible. There's a lot of words there beginning with I. I did that, as I see a lot of negative reviews using I. "I wouldn't of done that". "I don't agree with that" etc. Now, I'm not discounting ALL the negative reviews, people are entitled to their opinions. However when you give a game a 5 out of 10 (hell less than a 7), because you say it's not what "you would have done". Sorry my dudes, but the game isn't about you.

    An example of this that I'll give, and I won't refer to them by name. This reviewer said things like, they wouldn't have done that. They didn't understand or couldn't relate to, how the main character would do what they did, because of what happens to them. That they didn't like how part 2, forced them to play as if they killed a certain character at the end of part 1, and they're adamant they didn't. Things like that last part, are what you need to keep an eye out for. You have to kill that character at the end of part one, it's not a choice, part 1 forces you to do that. You can't complete the game if you don't. So straight away, you know this reviewer is full of it. Then the fact that they can't separate what they would do irl, from what a character would do in a video game. So to them, the narrative of the game is a mess, that doesn't make sense, so they give it a 5. You can't do that.

    To me, the story of the last of us, is about the characters in the game, what decisions they would make, faults and all. Ultimately, it's about the story Naughty Dog wanted to tell, we're just along for the ride. Most of these negative reviews are attention seeking trolls, and review bombers, but not all.


    The last of us part 2, took everything that was groundbreaking with the first game, and cranked it up. This game is one of the most technologically impressive games of the generation. It's level, sound and environmental design is exceptional, it's **** beautiful, to put it simply. Combat is fluid, and probably the best I've played this gen. Every encounter is harrowing. Each kill is brutal, and the fact that every enemy has a name, which the other npcs will call out when finding their body, just adds to horror. I won't even touch on the feels about the dogs. [Insert sad face]

    The story, however divisive, is one of the best I've ever experienced. That being said, when I think about the story. Sometimes I loved it, and at times, I straight up hated it. Which just made me love it more, because it provoked such an emotional response from me. That's the point. They perfectly crafted the game to do that. They want you to feel every moment, love and hate. That's what makes some of the story beats hit so hard, and gameplay choices make sense, once you've completed the game.

    That's the biggest thing. PLEASE complete the game, then make your decision. Multiple times even. You can't take the leaks at face value. Some are true, some are just straight out lies, but all are taken out of context. Once you've played through the game, with all the facts, what Naughty Dog did with the story, makes perfect sense. You can see everyone's side of the story, you can understand everyone's motivations, and why they do what they do, or don't in some cases.    … Expand

But if I had two choose. Part 2 was way better.. the battles. The people. Abby. Play the game first before u judge. Great game. And I hope a part 3 comes out.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I honestly don’t get the negativity behind this game, I’ve just finished playing and honestly, I cried many manly tears. When Joel died the way he did I was angry, sad and just confused, I didn’t know how to react and seeing Ellie just as this broken girl trying to grieve the passing of the only father figure she had in her life was truly heartbreaking to watch and play through.

    The character development in this game is amazing because I went from hating Abby and the rest of the members of the knockoff Fireflies to actually liking them and hating the fact that they died, it’s safe to say playing this game is probably what it feels to have Bipolar, one minute I’m sad, one minute I’m happy and the next I’m pissed off by something that’s happened.

    I almost lobbed my controller when Abby shot Tommy, I honestly thought she killed him, and I wasn’t ready for that to happen, not quite yet anyways.

    I want to talk about the ending as that’s where people seem to be annoyed about the most which honestly I can kind of understand but the way I look at it is this, Ellie has lost everything, she has lost friends, she has lost her family, she has lost everything and now she is alone, I feel like she realised that she related to Abby at that moment when she was drowning her at sea and it was at that point Ellie simply, gave up. She saw that she would be no better than Abby in that situation, and I honestly love that ending, I would love to be able to play as Abby again if there is a third game which I honestly hope that’s there is. They left the game on a (somewhat) cliffhanger, Ellie arrives back home to find out that Dina has up and left with little baby JJ. I want to know what happens next and I hope I don’t have to wait 7 years to find out!    … Expand

    The experience sadly feels akin to drinking bile from pretty porcelain... Hard to stomach the beauty.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.

    If you loved the original for its great characters and well-paced story – stay away from this game. However, if you’re aching to sink into the depths of depression, or just want to cut some throats and burn some zombies – Part II will deliver. [Issue#247, p.72]
