    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. (In normal circumstances I’d give this game a 9 but the tons of bad reviews given by haters that are based off of spoilers made me give it a 10 to “compensate”)

    Now about the game, as you may now every technical aspect of it is gorgeous and on point. Graphics, mechanics, expressions and so on. The story is dense and complex and although I’m a huge fan of the first game and the characters, Joel’s death felt necessary (yes, I agree that it should’ve been a little less “lazy” about how it happened, but still necessary). The second portion of the game, where you play with Abby made me care a lot about her, despite what she did, and that’s where the game is so genius. I felt horrible fighting against Ellie but I felt even worse fighting against Abby in the ending. I was in pain every time I cut her and by the end of the game I found myself crying just like Ellie cried after sparing abby’s life.

    For me, the main flaw about the game is the over use of violent deaths. Yes, the universe of the is cruel and raw, but the excess of deaths made care less. The scene where Abby found Owen, the love of her, dead should’ve felt so much more emotional for me but it just felt like another one. Having said that, TLOU part 2 doesn’t seem right till you really finish the game. If you choose to play it, make sure to play it till the end cause each second of the story is fundamental to the experience.    … Expand

    The story of this game have forced inclusion, spit on the first game (like they spit on Joel), im ps4 user and i've played this game. I dont regret, but i don play it anymore

    I thought this game was great only minor thing that annoyed me was sometimes during the encounters I felt like I was being made to go guns blazing whereas I prefer to use stealth.

    This is based off a 22 hour playthrough gathering all collectibles, inspecting and reading all collectables. I will be doing a second playthrough to fully upgrade weapons and skills to get platinum trophy. I'm pretty sure there is no game worth a 0 out of 10, some of the reviews are laughable and makes me question if we played the same game. If you think I'm sticking up for Naughty Dog I'm not this is a genuine review, I've paid my money for the game, had I felt I'd been ripped off then I would have given it a bad review regardless of its creator.    … Expand

TLOU2 presents a storyline very different but yet extremely similiar to the first game, the game has gotten alot of hate because of ABBY the person who killed joel (main character in a horrific way, people have the problem of being way too soft, this game is unlike any other game ive ever played, the game has so many emotions entitled to it, the game has become so incredibly realistic not in the graphics, but in character behavior and emotion, it shows the frustration of the characters it shows a type of format wich goes with two sides of two characters, 1 evil, 1 good, but as you go on it shows tje humanity and the similarities between the characters, alot of reviewers and fans wanted a game filled with happiness of where u see joel and ellie roaming the USA in such a progressive and fun chill way, but yet aggressive, in TLOU2 its depressibg, the game shows such great writing that it really shows the lack of quality of games these days, in the entire decade only 4 games have stood out to be the best, TLOU, GOW, RDR2 and TLOU2, this game shows such emotion that its hard to believe that this is a video game, the atmosphere, the graphics
    the infinite ways to approach a situation, the AI is incredibly unpredictable wich gives you this alive type of feeling, the combat is incredibly realistic showing a real punch, not an incredible jab evrey time u press the pucnh button, the blood that comes out of your enemies that u just slaughtered feels like you actually killed someone, the game is so good i felt like i was in the game, i forgot i was even playing sometimes, so many reviewers keep saying this game is good for some people wich it is, for quality reviewist, it dosent feel like a bland game like i anticipated it would be, its incredibly well written, the game shows real and depressing emotions wich ive never seen before ecxept in the first game, there are numerous flaws but they are minor, the jump button had potential, the puzzles werent good but they werent bad either (ropes felt clonky), the gun play was a pretty normal, it was functional, it flet like a teen was holding the gun, some of the time frames werent coordinated and felt very idiotic but they werent terrible, and some of the characters get introduced 5 hours after you kill them with a pipe, wich feels just lazy but not terrible still, they couldve added a special move where u press 4 different buttons one after another to make a cool kick or something like that, the games hate comes from the main character dying and that you have to play as his killer, unlike other people i had an opened mind even though i fell in love with joel in first game ( ive played TLOU1 about 29 times just because it was so good and im already starting a new walkthrough on the 2nd game) people arent very appreciative of abby and dont try to understand why she did it, hopefully more people give it a second try and realise how good it is, and try to enjoy the game from a more easy and open perspective instead of crying because joel died, it feels like alot of the critics didnt even play the game, i can go on and on defending the game while u could just give it a 2nd try like we did with the 1st game, my rating is a 9.3 it dosent deserve the 0.7 because of the easily fixable flaws.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Having completed a full playthrough of the game, I'd advise you not to waste your money. Cringey dialogue, lazy writing, no payoff. There's no silver lining. No levity. The one message the game has is "violence and revenge bad" and it beats you over the head with it repeatedly, like you're a mentally challenged toddler, while pretending to be deep. The game does its very best to make you feel like a piece of **** for doing the things it forces you to do. The sounds people and animals make as you viciously beat, stab, hack, or shoot them are horribly realistic and drawn out. Your enemies' companions and the owners of the dogs you're forced to brutalize cry out in horrified, despairing anguish at their deaths. and in the end, it snatches the only possible motivation any sane person could have had for continuing to play the game after Joel's death out from under you at the very last second and just leaves you feeling disgusted and depressed. Neil Druckmann has beaten this franchise to death with a golf club and spit on its mangled corpse.

    I made this account solely to tell you how much I despise what was done to this game. This is the first time I've ever bothered to review a game, that's how pissed off this piece of trash made me.

    The Last of Us Part 2 completed. What can I say about this wonderful game ?! I can only applaud Naughty Dog for his impeccable work, what a fantastic story, a mixture of sensations and feelings you feel while playing is indescribable!

    We feel anger and hatred together with Ellie and we understand the reason for her revenge and you also end up having this feeling of revenge, but in each chapter you feel that she ends up being consumed by this revenge and you no longer see the pain and problems it brings to the around you! On the other hand, it's the same thing, especially when you see the other side of the story and, in the end, you realize that all the revenge brought suffering to everyone, but it also frees everyone, I myself was anguished for not wanting to see revenge and hoping the most sensible end.
    It is indescribable what you feel when you play, for me it is an incredible story and I can only praise Naughty Dog for taking the risk and bringing this incredible game to us, it just showed how The Last of Us is my favorite game and certainly this one it's the best game of the year, this generation and my favorite game!

    And really, many people were not prepared for this masterpiece, it is very incredible for certain people, simple!

    I hope Naughty Dog continues to make such brilliant games, it just shows how the company is undoubtedly one of the best and the care it takes with its games!    … Expand

    Deceptive advertising, in the trailers of 2016, other types of events were shown, and the Story looks interesting and good, but in the Final Game it was a tremendous lie, 3 points only for the Gameplay and the Graphic level, but in a game that the main thing was history, I leave a lot to be desired ...

Yes AI is sometimes not so great especially in the stealth phase but nothing terrible and it is still beter than AI in any another game. And music? As in the first game is awesome as well.

    Locations are also well designed, when you decide to explore every corner then you will reveal many little stories in this sad postapocalyptic world. So now I'm getting to the point that despite many happy moments or awesome scenes (which you will not want to leave) this game is in general very sad, very brutal and violent. So if you got problem with a lots of blood, knives in the neck, broken bones, broken necks, killing people/animals/zombies etc. then probably this game isn't for you and you should avoid it at any cost to keep your mental health safe.

    Now about story. I was lucky that I avoided all the spoilers and leaks so I could fully enjoy the story and I must say it was very good story, every chapter was well-placed, every character decision understandable, my emotions were jumping from the absolute happinnes to the absolute saddness. And in the end I only was a little bit disapointed how the story ended but also at the same time I was feeling happy that it ended in that way.

    One note: if you are new to The Last of Us then I really recommend to play the first game before Part II, even if the Part II in the end explains/reminds everything that was in the first game, only in this way you could be fully immersed by the story and fully hit by all the emotions.

    Gameplay is almost identical to Last of Us 1. The only new mechanic is the use of a rope every once in a while, not a game changer. The story is awful. So many holes in the plot. Another failed liberal agenda.

The swiftness of transitions, the satisfactory combat and tense and exciting infected was amazing to say the least. Spoiler ahead:

    I loved the difference between Abby and Ellie game-play and how the game was able to set me up and approach situations different with both characters based on how well I knew them and felt while playing as them.

    The only flaw for me was the ending, but it would be unjust of me to lower my rating because of that, because in-spite of that, this game deserves way more that 10/10    … Expand

    Dark, emotional, raw, stunning, simply beautiful. I feel most of the hate is jumping the gun and unjustified. That or on the defence about gay people being represented in the game, which is just silly.
    The graphics are top notch, stealth is refined, combat mechanics are enjoyable. But the story pulls you in with it's fantastic performance from the voice and mo-cap cast. Loved it.

    The story is amazing. Much like the world, it's sprawling; covering ground and characters from multiple places and times. There are a few moments where it almost crumbles under the weight of its ambition, yet it doesn't. And those moments where you feel that ping of uncertainty or skepticism disappear immediately after you consider the larger context.

    Moment to moment, this game is a whirlwind. Overall, it’s a contemplation into who these characters are, what this game can be, and how this medium fits within the world at large.

    The hate train for this game is unbelievable. I understand how somebody could be annoyed by certain story choices but you can't tell me you played this whole game and would give it a zero. If you have an open mind and play through the story it is engrossing, gameplay is intense, graphics are obviously gorgeous. Maybe a step below the first game in writing but still excellent.

The gameplay becomes repetitive and boring by the halfway point and the story is abysmal, with a legitimately painful intro, second half, and ending. Almost every new character is flat and uninteresting, and when they die, they are never brought up again. Regardless, Part 2 is a chore to go through, and is especially bad since it follows up one of my favorite games of all time. Honestly, the game may have been better-received if it were a stand-alone title. It would still be a bad game, but at least it wouldn't be compared to the masterpiece the first game was (and is).

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I waited until I finished the game to write this. Ignoring all the negative reviews. Upon completion, I was thoroughly disappointed with the experience and left with the thought of "THIS took you guys 7 years?..wtf..."

    *Spoiler warning*
    -The gameplay is the same as the original, which I find somewhat clunky.
    -Characters are awfully shallow.
    -The story has no purpose besides "revenge is bad" and ultimately feels pointless.
    -They had a heavy SJW agenda with this one... I'm all for treating people equally, but Jesus Christ guys I can't even tell if Lev has a gender because of the way you sloppily allude to it!
    -Too much romantic drama that feels forced.
    -Shambler death animations are cringy and weird. (here let me grab you and stare as you die)
    -A ton of plot holes; the whole story wouldn't be possible if Abby didn't have God-tier luck...
    -the best storytelling is in the scenes with Joel and Ellie and they are few and far between.

    They tried the Red Dead method and failed miserably. Why? because they make you play half the game as a character that kills someone you came to know and love. Once that point in the game hit, I didn't even want to play it anymore. As Ellie, I would explore, scavenge up and down, go for 100% completion. Once I got into Abby's shoes, I just wanted the game to be over. The best part of playing as Abby is seeing all the different death scenes.

    This was the first game I pre-ordered and got the special edition of in over 5 years. (facepalm)
    They effectively tarnished the reputation of The Last Of Us with this installment. If you played the first one, save yourself the heartbreak.    … Expand

    Thought the game was brilliant. Story was much bigger than just Joel and Ellie. You got to see and understand new perspectives, and had to learn how to let go of characters you once loved to understand the true concept of the game and I think that was hard for a lot of people to do. Game was raw and brutal, messy, no time to mourn peoples deaths, and I think the creators purposefully madeThought the game was brilliant. Story was much bigger than just Joel and Ellie. You got to see and understand new perspectives, and had to learn how to let go of characters you once loved to understand the true concept of the game and I think that was hard for a lot of people to do. Game was raw and brutal, messy, no time to mourn peoples deaths, and I think the creators purposefully made you detach from certain characters to allow yourself to accept new characters. 10/10.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Last of Us 2 in my opinion is a fantastic game. It has gotten a lot of unnecessary hate because of story events that the majority of people don’t like. People are praising Joel for what he’s done while in reality he’s caused the most deaths by not letting the Fireflies make the cure. His death from the hands of WLF is harsh but justified in their world. We play as Abby and Ellie in the game and people say it does nothing because they don’t like Abby. However, the Abby’s side of the story did so much and put into perspective that both sides of this fight view themselves as the good guys (Ellie trying to avenge Joel’s death and Abby avenging her dads and countless other deaths because of Joel). Also, another complaint that I’ve seen from people is that Abby doesn’t die in the end. However, this ending shows the growth of Ellie the most. While she’s drowning Abby, she flashes back to a scene where Ellie and Joel talking about what happened in the ending of tlou 1. At the end of this scene, Ellie says that she will forgive Joel for what he did and she realizes while drowning Abby that she has to do the same for her. For the gameplay, it’s not as bad as people say it is. The stealth aspect is some of my favorite and gun play feels authentic. Level design does feel off as it blocks you off with small foliage (bushes, branches, etc) but that’s not enough to make me hate the gameplay. Overall, I think the game is fantastic and is receiving a lot of unnecessary hate due to two events that are very good once they’re understood.… Expand

    - Improved on the visceral weighty combat of its predecessor while reducing the frequency of daft puzzle sections. Loved it.

    - Second best looking game this console generation - right behind Horizon Zero Dawn.

    - The game tells a message instead of a story. Heartbreaking is the word- in a multitude of ways.

The entire course of the game, I felt very disturbed. The game is dark, more so than the first. Do not get me wrong, I do not mind if games are dark if they're pulled off well, but this game was not. I can't describe it without getting into spoiler territory, but the story to this game actually made me feel really depressed. The pacing of the story was weird, and the plot twists were executed very poorly. I felt like the gameplay and upgrading was superior to the first one, but it got repetitive. The amount of times I felt like I needed to be stealthy got very old. Enemy A.I. felt very inconsistent, and stealth encounters were at times very easy, and other times, weirdly hard. Many of the characters from the original game were ruined for me, and I was not a fan of many of the new characters.

    For some positives, I will say that visuals are breathtaking. Some of the best I have ever seen in a video game, actually. There was also one level in the game that was open world-ish, and I wish there would have been more sections like this, because it was done very well. The voice-acting also felt professional and very well done.

    Overall, as a video game, this game is pretty good. I was able to finish it, and as somebody who has a huge backlog of games I've started, but never finished, that's an impressive feat for a 20 hour game. However, as a sequel to the one of the most beloved games I've ever played, I was very disappointed with the direction Naughty Dog chose to go for this game. If you are a fan of the original Last of Us, approach this game with caution. I would recommend at least one playthrough, but do not go in expecting this game to be like the first, because it's not.    … Expand

    Yes the graphics are superb, but for me replayability and fun gameplay are a must. This doesn’t have that for me. On top of this, the story is awful and it seems decisions were made to make it into a really depressing, ‘thought provoking’, ‘study’ of ‘humankind’. Well, I didn’t learn anything I didn’t already know and got bored doing it.

I was kind of excited that there was a 4-year time skip because it was like Ellie and Joel were starting a new adventure, but my expectations faded very quickly when the game started with Ellie and Dina. After a while playing as Ellie and Dina this felt more like a love story. Then Joel died in arguably the worst way possible and it felt more and more like a poor death the more as the story went on. It's just so sad because I had a great experience with The Last of Us 1 and I had such high expectations for this game and it just had such a sh*tty story. They also added this new character, Abby, who I'm sure everyone wanted to kill at the end but then Ellie spares her. After everything that Ellie was through all for nothing and the ending was just so sad to with Ellie's family leaving her, I'm also sure that Ellie losing her fingers and not being able to play the guitar is a metaphor for how she lost everything. I'm guessing that she went to see Tommy after the credits rolled, so I'm hoping that a DLC will come out and redeem something from this game. Gameplay-wise this game does very well. The rope physics was really fun to play around with and the gore and guns were both very well made. After all, I wish that the ending wasn't so open-ended.… Expand

Крайне рекомендую пройти ремастер первой части перед второй частью, иначе вы абсолютно нечего не поймёте в этой игре. Так же все спойлеры которые были в сети, оказались фейком, сюжет развивается совершенно по другому, так что кто начитался, не переживайте, всё враньё и обман. Теперь по поводу ЛГБТ и Феминизма, это присутствует, но, только в начале, когда Элли называет Сета шовинистом, за то что он её назвал не хорошем словом потому что она поцеловалась с Диной при всех на вчерашней пьянке в баре, а Джоэл его за это толкнул. Чуть позже Элли с Диной находят заброшенный подвал своего умершего друга-наркомана Юджина, в нём он выращивал "Травку", после не долгого обследования данного помещения они находят банку с "Косяками" (Косяк — жаргонное название папиросы с марихуаной), во время употребления данного вида наркотических изделий, Дина задаёт вопрос Элли:-"По десятибалльной шкале... где один-полный отстоище, а десять-верх блаженства... как бы ты оценила тот наш поцелуй?" После чего Дина говорит:-"По-моему, шесть." Потом Дина сообщает что:-"Шестёрка меня не устроит", и происходит ещё один поцелуй между ними. Больше за всю игру не ЛГБТ, не Феминизма не будет, так что кто очень переживал, не бойтесь, спойлер оказался не правдой что весь сюжет якобы про это.

    Good graphics. Good voice acting. But the story really ruins this game. It tarnished my memories of the first one. Plus they deceived fans in the trailers. If I can't enjoy the story I can't enjoy the positives of this game. I was so excited for this game. Now I'm sad I played it. I regret it. Not even about the money at this point.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This review is going to be separated into two parts, the first being my own personal opinion to the game and the second part my reaction and thoughts to what people have been saying about the game.
    I am far from completing this game hence why i have given it an 8. So far impressed is not even the word i would use to describe this game, it exceeded graphical expectations that i did not know could be maintained on a console of this generation and its character development was fantastic with how quickly I fell in love with new characters such as Jesse and even more with old characters such as Maria in the short amount of time i saw her. Managing to avoid the leaks Joel’s death was a complete shock to the system that made me feel the same amount of anger that Ellie did, after spending the whole of the first game becoming the character that you play, as well as Dina’s pregnancy reveal throwing a whole other obstacle into the revenge story. Going into the game i had high hopes, however as time drew closer to the release i became concerned that we would have a repeat layout of the first game being, we have a story that surrounds Ellie’s immunity to the fungal virus and we have to go on a country wide quest to find someone who can help, or something along those lines. Although, I was pleasantly surprised that instead of forcing me though a few states that were full of clickers, runners and bloaters we went straight to Seattle and the game takes place here for it’s majority. When it comes to runners and clickers the new types of “zombies” were very refreshing and added a whole other layer of strategy to the game, similarly had felt the same excitement for areas where you’re opposition was both living and “dead”. So overall, this game has been a fantastic experience so far and it’s inclusion of LGBT expression from Dina and Ellie, to a pride filled book store in the first day of Seattle has been especially refreshing as it is not shoving it down your throat it is making them seem like a real couple no matter the gender they act as anyone else would, as well as discrete mentions of religion and other less talked about topics in video games.
    A key issue that i have had with the negative reviews of this game is people who have put a review out on the day that they received this game saying they hated it from beginning to end, this game, if played through with proper exploration and is not rushed through is around 30 hours of gameplay, that tells me that the people who have written reviews for this game on the day of release have not taken time to appreciate this game and have missed heartwarming parts of the story that develop the characters a little more, such as Ellie’s cover of Take On Me in the music shop and Ellie and Dina’s conversation of growing old and living life to the fullest in a farmhouse with pets. A game like this is not to be rushed otherwise key points that helped to develop these so called ‘bland’ characters will be missed and will cause you to think this. Also many people seem to have an issue of its portrayal of a lesbian couple and well if you are so disgusted at the sight of two women who are in love kissing on camera then you are growing up in the wrong era because this kind of development in gaming should have happened long before now. Thirdly, many people disliked the game before even properly starting it after 3 hours in and Joel’s death happens people were furious with ‘trashy writing’ and a ‘rushed narrative’ however you have to looked at what Naughty Dog wanted for this game. They wanted a revenge story that the player could relate to so killing off Dina would feel underwhelming and you would not be able to sympathise with Ellie as well as copying the recipe from the first one that worked so well which was killing off Sarah I the first 20-30 minutes, or alternatively if they would have killed Joel off say 10 hours into the game it would have felt dragged out for me. Something i have noticed a lot of people mention is how it is uncharacteristic of Joel to trust someone as quickly as he did with Abby however, look at what we know, he as lived in a perfectly secure and welcoming civilisation wth Maria and Tommy, over those 4 years he has had to worry about outside threats less and less and has begun to see the good in people, therefore he is likely to have gone very soft over these many years, another way to look at it is that he had no other options at the time, they were being chased by a horde and was told of a secure location that according to his response to it, he knew and had likely been to before, so considering his options his judgement was possibly clouded. Overall, I think there is unnecessary backlash, however this has allowed me to appreciate the game even more and look at it from different perspectives    … Expand

Ему тут уже за 60 лет, разработчики дали возможность запомнить его таким, каким мы его полюбили. А не 90летним маразматиком. Не стоит забывать, что это вымышленный мир, жестокий, несправедливый постапокалиптический мир. Ребятки девелоперы разорвали устоявшийся шаблон, умертвив ГЕРОЯ без почестей и без грустной музычки, как все привыкли. А наоборот, еб**ь еще как брутально.     I think if many additions that many people dislike were taken out, it would be a lesser game. They are vital to the story being as good and impactful as it was, and allowed for the gameplay to be deeper and more unique compared to the previous game.

    All in all, while the story may be different, it's amazing and just as good as the first (if not better). And the gameplay is incredibly fun and expands well on the groundwork laid in The Last of Us.

    Its exhausting to play, because you put so much mental and emotional energy into each story and combat sequence, but you cant put the game down. It is an enthralling, incredible experience and work of art, and one of the best games ever made.    … Expand

Pou rmoi c'est l'une de mes meilleurs expériences jeux vidéos avec Witcher 3 . Je ne sais pas comment Naughty Dog est arrivé à une tel résultat mais je pense que ce sont des magiciens. I think the real problem of TLOU 2 is how they adapt the story to the game. If you play the first 10 hours, you have a masterpiece in your hand. However, second part of the game is too linear and the story loses its strength. I good and serious idea becomes cringey as they force you to play so long with the antagonist. But, I have to say that many attitudes of Ellie are not good either. If this game had choices in the critical moments, it would correct some of its problems. I have issues with the AI, because the same behaviour start to make me bored in the second part. This game would be perfect with 12-14 hours, instead of 20+. When you're putting the player in a constant bad trip, you should make the game shorter, or it will lose the purpose. The last third of the game became just a torture. I gave 7 out 10, because the graphic is gorgeous, the first 10 hours is really good, and the idea of the story was great. The first huge mistake was to let Joel falls so easy in a trap, they could work better in this part, then execute the golf scene as the same it is. Abby part is totally desnecessary, just ruined my experience, could be a 10-15 min of cutscene, instead of many hours of linear gameplay.… Expand

    -Great graphics.
    -Great Gameplay, much like the last game.
    -Music is good.

    Cons:
    -The story is awful! The story is forced and contorted in a way that makes it incompatible with the first game.

    -Character characteristics have devolved into personalities unlike the last game. It's almost like writers didn't even play the last game.

    -They kill the most loved main character near the beginning and in the most ridiculous and uncharacteristic way.

    -Inflrmation given from articles and interviews prior to release completely lied about the contents of the game, probably because the writer knew there would be push back.

    -You have to kill dogs. They even go as far as letting you play with the dog (as another character)before they make you kill it while playing as Ellie.

    -At times, it seems like they are trying to make you dislike Ellie, and make you like this added charater even though she kills Joel.

    I can't give the game a zero because there are elements of the game that are awesome. But I have to rate it with a one, because I waited 7 years for a game with a story that is unrecognizable from the last. Truly dark story with a lot moments to think about. All you maggots who didn’t like it can go play another Assassin Creed “story” or whatever. No one in game industry ever did something tiny close as these people in Naughty Dog. Compare this game to Game of Thrones, where all your favorite characters die in a blink of an eye. You can see what hard work, dedication and a toxic work environment by a triple A developer can produce. Having said that, the overall narrative and deceptive marketing truly negates the potential of this “masterpiece.” This really could of been something special. The sloppy writing, forced plot devices and contradictory character interactions spoiled the entire experience for me. It’s fine if you wanted to shock the audience, but instead this game pulls predictable “violence begets violence” themes with no resolution in the end. Ancillary characters died at the drop of a hat, while main characters only suffer emotional scaring. There is no real lesson here besides “don’t start something you can’t finish” and that unfinished business is the game’s own story quality. Hopefully this will be a lesson as to what really is important to storytelling and what lying to a loyal consumer base gets you.… Expand

    This game is an absolute **** show of a convoluted mess. Plot hole after plot hole, with no choices to be made that gives a cathartic release. It actually punishes the player for playing.

I feel many are hung up on Joel's demise and while that scene was tragic, and could've been handled better, all of the other aspects of the game were flawless. I personally love the dynamics of combat, and (while playing on hard) found survival to be a great challenge. I'm well aware that the ending is very debatable, I found TLOU2 to slightly edge out it's predecessor just because of the content and length of story.     they didn't take time to make a good story, i won't take time to write a good review. The score is purely for their Graphics, Music (which feels like a toned down version of the first one) and level design, all the rest is just pure deception. Imma head back to a good Sequel. RDR2.

    The gameplay mechanics are still fun, outstanding graphics, good soundtrack. I do agree that the story is not un par with part 1. Think the flashback scenes should have been done as chapter 1 and 2 before the first 2 hours of the game. 8/10
