    it’s just boring to play this game, the story is stretched and this is the main problem, well, this LGBT propaganda during the apocalypse is out of place at all (calling a person a chauvinist at such a time is like telling a dog that she is a dog), but 5 points for the graphics and stylization of the locations, only because of them I suffered this game until the end

    Absolute masterpiece. TLOU.......PART 2, you're right. Superb storytelling. Photorealism graphic. Immensive dialogues. Same gameplay mechanics.

Druckmann no creo que tuviera en mente una línea argumental sólida para dar continuidad a TLOU, pero sí tenía muy claro hacer puro dogma con las líneas marcadas por Anita Sharkeesian. El "must have" reina por encima de lo que se quiere contar (si existe algo que contar) TLOU2 no quiere ser un en realidad un juego o desarrollar una buena historia, es unaAhora sólo importan las ventas... Y lo hace con la firme convicción de que el jugador no va a darse cuenta de eso y que va a terminar cayendo en su trampa. El "más difícil todavía" a Druckmann se le convirtió en un imposible, literalmente quiso sacarse la chorra con un núcleo nuevo de personajes sin atisbo de carisma, destrozando de manera tendenciosa todas las expectativas creadas a los fans mediante las campañas publicitarias...

    Hay otros estudios que hubiesen incluso matado por contar con una base tan bien construida como franquicia... Bueno, pues Naughty Dog prefiere verla en llamas desde la orilla de una playa...    … Expand

    Huge fan of the first game and now in my second play through of its sequel. It's a more adult story that is crafted beautifully. One of the most beloved characters of this universe is now the playable character and it's searching for it's revenge, but this game doesn't show revenge as it was already showed in millions of other medias, like movies or video games itself.     Однозначно одна из самых лучших игр этого поколения! Таких непередаваемый эмоций от видеоигр я ещё не получал! Обязательно к прохождению! Я не сомневался в качестве графики и гейплея, но такого замечательного сюжета я не ожидал. Не обращайте внимание на плохие оценки, эти люди даже не купили игру.Однозначно одна из самых лучших игр этого поколения! Таких непередаваемый эмоций от видеоигр я ещё не получал!     Nothing else to say other than they blew it, they really did. So disappointing and disrespectful to everything that the first game accomplished. I really hope that everyone who is feeling like me can caste this game aside as the egotistical fantasy of the main developer and maintain the memory of the first game and all the amazing aspects that made it unbelievably good.

    Apart from the incredible design, this was a betrayal not only of the fans, but of the actors and the original developers, many of whom were not apart of this game as a result of internal politics at Naughty Dog. No wonder it was horribly disconnected from the first game. It is not an incredible world that one can be immersed, lost in a riveting story and provoked to think about difficult aspects of human nature. It is rather a failed attempt at shocking the audience while including unnecessary contemporary politics, which are important in their own right, but feel totally out of place in this game.

    It feels like they have tried to maliciously ruin everything good that players hold in memory. This is purposeful but I believe it is not justified and after 7 years, I highly doubt that they made any attempt to get input from the most important people: the hard core fans, high profile streamers and original creators of the game. As stated above, it feels like a betrayal and a fulfillment of an agenda that is disconnected from everything that could have made this game a worthy sequel.    … Expand

    One of the most highly anticipated games ever, and also the biggest disappointment in gaming history. The best thing in the game is the music, graphics and the menu options. Everything else is a complete mess. And forces you to play as a character you hate. Never uninstalled a game so fast in my life!

I find it very very childish to give a game a zero just because some people don't like it. There are threads on reddit and other places only about telling people to review bomb this game with a zero.     The game is about hate and revenge, and everything you do has a consequence. You are going to see that in this game. The way they took this game surprised me, but I actually liked it.
    For me it was fresh and new, seeing things from different views.

    But as Neil Druckmann already said before release. People that loved the first one, may not like part 2, and I guess he was right. This is not a game for everyone, but for the ones it is, it surely is a masterpiece.

    If you just exspect more Joel & Ellie story, do not buy this game. But if you are open minded and want something new compared to the first one, I think you should give it a try. Even if you wait a year or two when its cheaper. It's not the same as watching someone on twitch or youtube. At least not for me..

Крайне спорное решение убивать главного героя первой части..И вводить главным героем его убийцу, причем такую.. Это вообще почти никому не понравилось. Зачем её так много?! Тем не менее, игра не заслуживает таких низких оценок. Она длинная и насыщенная геймплеем и несмотря на сомнительные решения и все эти левацкие движения рассказывает достаточно интересную и захватывающую историю. Игра не шедевр, но и не провл . Невероятна игра.. Я надеюсь, что они пересмотрят все свои ошибки и сделают следующую игру лучше. Главные минусы: южет Эбби и всяэта пропаганда левая. Naughty Dog, зачем это надо было делать? Но я верю в реабилитацию. И в то, что новая история будет лучше...… Expand

    I’m 37 years old and have been gaming for nearly 30 years, I’ve never been more disappointed in a game. Yes the game is beautiful and gameplay is good, but where this falls flat is the story. From forgettable characters to just down right disrespect to others, it’s just a mess.

    First of all, I would like to say it has been my favourite video game until today. I have finished it this morning. Graphics are incredibly developed to show all the gore acts and landscapes, getting little details inside a semiopened world, perfect for this type of video game where I didn't want a huge map but, at least, a little bigger than the ones used in the last of us 1.

    The different messages used by the director are incredibly polemic and underlined by our today's society unacceptability . We are allways annoyed by any little thing again our point of view and I think this perfect.

    The couple of lesbians, the development of different revenges, friendships, love, lies, growing as human beings, everything showed from a very realistic perspective... One person is not always good but also, he or she is not always bad. That hue of black and white is fantastic, achieved incredible well here.

    Moreover, this video game breaks with the typical formula of having only one group of heros, creating the perspective of the main enemy and I love it. I love it very very very much. Because of that, my favourite character is Abby and not Ellie or other one.

    The story was the last of us and it wasn't Ellie and her daddy.

    I felt really bad the first time I played with Ellie and I saw the death of Joel but, in the end, I understand he was an awful murderer and he deserved to die as he died because of his past actions.

    As I previously said, there aren't a good or bad side and that is incredible.

    You can enter inside a lot of stories, knowing the development of different characters until their deaths. And yeah, it is crazy, everyone dead, but we are in an appocalyptic world and it is almost impossible to live for a long time.

    After the end scene, we will not know if Ellie will live another day or if Abby and Lev will find the fireflights or another violent group. However, that creativity to surprise me and enter inside the feelings of every single character, entering inside the shoes of everyone is brutal for me.

    The playability is increbidly better that it's antecestor. Crawling, with more types of enemys, different types of scenarios adequate to the fight, more difficulty, more objects and weapons, etc.

    Sincerely, I don't understand the amount of bad critics and hatter received by this video game. Of course, this is not the game and the plot that someone will imagine. But that is the point and the beauty of this beast.

    I played the last of us 1 one week before the second one. Because of that, I don't have any type of nostalgya and with that in mind, I mark this video game with a 10 because the first one was a 10 for me and this one is better than the first game without doubt. And why? Because this plot not only touches the story of Joel and Ellie, but that story and other ones like the one of Lev, Abby, the goddes (who I believe she is the mother of Ellie and because of her inmunity she was proclaimed as a god for that community, she is white-skinned and the same colour of hair), wolves mates, lev's family, Isaac, jacksons, etc.

    I want to congratulate nauthydogs for this title and thank them the 35 hours of gameplay in the tough difficulty. I really enjoyed this game and wow, we have to be more humans and this is not a game for ever type of public. Very bloody violent, an adult plot, different from the other ones, without superheros, and with a lot of incredible details and scenes to make you feel the feelings of the characters behind the screen.

    Brutal and Bravo!

    This is a real videogame with all the letters and I will wait for more like this one.

    Great graphics, detailed levels and a great soundtrack. This is where the advantages end. The typical revenge story remains. with one difference, you see it from two different sides. The characters are boring, stereotypical. The plot contains many holes, lack of logic. There is no empathy on the part of the player. The entire potential of the series is destroyed for me.

La banda sonora del primero nos enamoró a todos, y la de esta parte dos ha pasado totalmente inadvertida, muy floja. Al ser tan largo, llega un momento en que la jugabilidad se hace repetitiva. El resto de cosas son buenas, te meten en una historia agobiantemente buena. El final te deja sin poder pensar en otra cosa durante días, valorando un montón de cosas. No entiendo las notas tan malas. Es evidente que es un buen juego. Te puede gustar más o menos la historia, se podría llevar por otro lado, pero este mundo es así de cruel y lo que ha ocurrido es perfectamente posible. In my opinion the story was great,the environments were great, characters were great, and the gameplay was the best that I have played in years. A lot of people dont like this game because of the way Joel was killed, but in my opinion it made sense and I was not disappointed in the way Joel died. Many people complained that you had to play as Abby and you were forced to sympathise with her in the second half, I loved this part of the game almost more than playing as Ellie. The second half made me go from hating Abby as a character to actually liking her. Her relationship with Lev reminded me a lot of Joel and Ellies relationship in the first game. I have read many other user reviews for this game and many are making the argument that the game has a political agenda when this is not true. People in real life are lesbian so it would make sense that 2 of the many characters in this game are lesbian, some people are transgender in real life so it would make sense for a single character to also be transgender. In this game the number of straight people is greater than the number of gay/transgender people, just like in the real world. I played the first game when it released in 2013 and thought it was amazing. The Last of Us 1 is still my favorite game of all time and I think that it was slightly better than this game but this game is still a 10 for me. After the games story was leaked I thought that the game would be bad just like most people but I held onto hope that it would be good. I preordered the game and it was worth every penny. I made sure to play the full game first and I played new game plus and the game is better each time I played through it. You can say that this games story is not good or that you dont like the characters but please play the game first before leaving a review.… Expand

    There were a lot of great, funny, sad, frustrating, etc. moments in this game which and I think that's what determines a great diversified plot!

    I have to say that many moments in this game makes you angry or sad because it may not turn out the way you want it, but that's life and you also cannot control the plot of a good movie!

    And if you wrote a bad review because u did not like that Ellie is homosexual and something else that I'm not gonna say because of possible spoiler, than you are just a sexist idiot.. These topics are really relevant in real life and I think that it makes the game even a bit more realistic.

    For me definitely a candidate to be the Game of the Year!

    This is definitely a game for grown ups. If you expect a mindless slash and loot until an happy end is not the game for you. This game is dark and gut wrenching and will make you yell at the screen multiple times. Easily the best game on Ps4 and prob best of all time.

    Duele bastante tener que opinar así de un videojuego tan esperado por mí. Una segunda parte por la que suspirabamos todos los fans de la excelente primera aventura que vivimos en el lejano ya 2013. El juego tiene muchísimos aspectos muy buenos e inclusos otros excelentes pero la historia que nos quiere contar y la forma en la que lo hace se debe criticar porque atenta contra lo visto en laDuele bastante tener que opinar así de un videojuego tan esperado por mí. Una segunda parte por la que suspirabamos todos los fans de la excelente primera aventura que vivimos en el lejano ya 2013. El juego tiene muchísimos aspectos muy buenos e inclusos otros excelentes pero la historia que nos quiere contar y la forma en la que lo hace se debe criticar porque atenta contra lo visto en la primera parte y contra los videojuegos en general. Nos encontramos un juego gráficamente espectacular en muchos momentos aunque en algunas zonas se notan las limitaciones de ps4 en algunas texturas. Aun así sin duda uno de los títulos mas potentes gráficamente hablando. Jugablemente es delicioso en muchos momentos aunque la IA sigue siendo mejorable e innova muy poco en mecanicas jugables aunque es muy satisfactorio derrotar a cualquier enemigo. El juego tiene muchos momentos de relleno puro y de tramos que son totalmente insustanciales e ilogicos. La zona de las plantas llenas de infectados del hospital directamente no tiene ningún sentido argumental y otros tramos de la historia se hacen realmente muy pesados. EL juego debería durar 10 horas menos de lo que dura y ser mas directo. Y ahora vamos con el apartado mas pésimo del título y sin duda el mas polémico.
    La historia.
    Aquí nada tiene que ver la raza de alguien o su condición sexual. Esto tiene que ver con la historia que nos quieren contar y de como lo hacen. Fallan estrepitosamente en todo esto.
    Lo primero que chirría con la trama es ver como Joel se fía y salva a una persona como Abby totalmente desconocida y se reúne sin sospechar con un montón de gente que no conoce en medio de un refugio. Es algo que el Joel que recordamos de la primera parte en ningún momento haría. Esto ya es un fallo argumental grave aunque no es el único. Nos quieren obligar en todo momento a que entendamos a Abby y a que le cojamos un cariño que nunca llega. Entiendo su motivación de matar a Joel para obtener su venganza pero lo que no se puede comprender es la manera de hacerlo. Mata a Joel torturándolo en el proceso, sin importarle que Ellie vea la escena sin poder hacer nada. Joel mató a su padre sí pero en ningún momento lo hizo disfrutando ni mucho menos dándole una muerte lenta y dolorosa. Joel hizo lo que hizo para salvar a Ellie, y no habria matado a nadie si le hubiesen dejado llevársela. Abby empieza dandole la peor muerte que se le podia dar a un personaje tan querido como Joel, nos lo arrebatan de una manera infame y queriendo que adoremos y queramos a la culpable. Aparte de todo esto la historia hace aguas en el transcurso de la misma y la resolución final carece de sentido alguno. Nos quieren hacer ver que la venganza no lleva a algun lado y por eso Ellie se arrepiente en el último momento. Pero esto no funciona así. Ellie ha matado a un montón de gente sí pero todos han intentado matarla antes, ella si hubiera podido habría ido a por Abby y de un disparo habria acabado con su venganza. Ellie no es como Abby. Ellie no se venga, solo quiere justicia. Si la historia fuera contada de manera diferente en algunos aspectos y la muerte de Joel fuera distina o simplemente no se hubiera mostrado quizás se habría aceptado mejor a Abby. Nunca lo sabremos.
    Mi nota final es un 5 aunque dan ganas de ponerle menos, es la realidad. Pero debo ser coherente y el juego tiene muchísimos apartados donde es muy bueno e incluso excelente pero la historia en este título es lo más importante y en este caso lo peor que han llevado y ejecutado. Espero que Naughty Dog se reponga de esto y que jamás saquen algo así de nuevo.

    The franchise was always about heartbreaking story and I expected way more from it.
    It feels just OK, like very average Assasin's Creed plot, but it is not The Last of Us and I wish it was as good as the physics, gameplay and visuals. Feels empty and doesn't leave you crying.

Desde el principio, con la muerte de Joel el juego te hace fundirte en uno con Ellie y esa rabia que contiene y su sed de venganza, a partir de su llegada a Seattle comienza una decadencia bastante grande que culmina con un gran desastre al final, cuando por fin tenemos en nuestras manos matar a Abby, el juego decide que no nos da la oportunidad de acabar con su vida.
    Ni una maldita opción de matarla o dejarla vivir, me sentí con rabia de verdad en aquel momento tras perseguir durante todo el juego a la asesina de Joel y no poder acabar con su vida... Un juego de 10 en casi todos los aspectos pero un 0 en la narrativa.    … Expand

    This game is a perfect example of how you should not do sequels to the beloved franchises. It literally forces you to do what you might not want to (the second half of the game). I really tried to enjoy the gameplay and all those small details but I always kept in mind the plot of this game and it ruined everything for me.     I will not hide, I really liked the first part. but the second chapter in this story is something surprisingly shocking. in a good sense of the word. the plot, gray morality, the disclosure of the characters - all on top. Thanks to NaughtyDog for the emotions you experienced.

As a person who has passed the first part three times and just passed the second, I confidently declare that the second part is a spit in the soul of the players. The plot is the biggest problem of the game (after the LGBT agenda). I am sure that each of the players after the end of the first part, I thought a little about the future of the characters, and I **** sure that such a nonsense could not fantasize. I myself cried on the assassination of Joel, damn it, it was the best scene in the game, I felt how animal aggression fills me from the inside out with all this scum, I already craved in the face of Ellie to discourage everyone involved in this. And the problem with the game is that AT THE END THIS DESIRE DOES NOT DEPLETE. Abby and her friends are absolutely disgusting to me, I do not care that her father is an incredibly kind person, because he saved the zebra (and wanted to kill Ellie for the sake of a vaccine, which would not even ask if she agreed).     I'm satisfied. I got a story, a story what the creators wanted to tell me.
    I enjoyed the game. The thrills it got me, the gameplay, visuals and the sounds. It all contributed to have a great experience, to involve me as much as possible to the world. The whole game is well thought out and well made. Lot of detail and work had been put into it, that's sure. The makers deserve applause for it.

    I also had problems with characters. I didn't like them at the time, but that's just life. You can't make everyone happy.
    (And you would not want that anyway. From a creator point of view you want to present your idea as you see fit, not as how others will like it.)

    I also had a character whom I liked and at the end of the story I was pity him for being stuck emotionally. Just like how Joel was stuck with her daughters death. Which is totally okay. But he haven't moved on after 20 years. He got a second chance from life and he took it. It had consequences which he paid for after all. Ellies and Abbys journey also had these consequences, but at the end Ellie made the right decision. She has grown. We get the moral of the story, at a cost.
    Thats why this game is so great. Its cold and warm. It makes you hate or like people in it. Makes you think. Life is just like that. No happy ending, just plain cruel reality.

    I think many of us who played the game liked it after all. It just happened that its unpopular to have a positive opinion about it nowadays and it makes it look like this game is trash.
    It's okay to hate it as well as love it.
    Just don't let others ruin your experience. I believe it's a MUST to play this game.

    I purchased a PS4 solely for this game. I had no prior knowledge or watched/read any spoilers of what events would take place in the game. Within the first hour, well we all know what happens. Instantly after this I lost interest in the game, it felt a grind and frustrating to play. The storyline to me felt forced to sway our opinion on other characters which to me by that point I couldn’tI purchased a PS4 solely for this game.     The story is so mediocre that is not worth of years of waiting. It’s a mistake to select vengeance and forgiveness as the theme from the beginning. Such a great disappointment! When I finished the TLOUS, I feel like to play the game over and over again, when I finished the TLOUS2, I simply turned off my PlayStation.

    Joel's death is necesary to the plot of the game, its something that makes you feel the same as Ellie, the death could be better but his death is represented by the feeling of Abby, if you think Ellie wants the same thing that Abby (revenge).

    The history could be better in so many moments and the characters could be best represented, like Jesse, he was dina ex-boyfriend and the father of the baby and dies in a stupid way, other character like that was Dina, she was so good on the first part of the game but when you discover that shes pregnant she becomes useless but Abby's character makes you hate her so shes a good villian and that makes her the best character of the game, you plays as her and you see other side of Abby, she feels and she is a human not a total b1tch amazing    … Expand

I enjoyed certain aspects of the game but hated that you are forced to play as someone who killed Joel and want to be Joel aka Jessie who I was starting to like. It made me hate her more when she beat Ellie in their first fight against each other. The Siblings scar story was probably the most interesting thing in this game. I feel like the story was trying to combine two different stories to make one game. It would have been better rearranging the story so it didn't feel like it was hopping around everywhere. Overall what's the point of all this sacrifice and body count on both sides to not go three with getting revenge for Joel or Abby getting revenge for her friends dying.… Expand

Flares are so awesome, wow! Also, the water looks good, and when is a storm outside be it in the forest, city or water, man you almost feel the fear of something falling on you. Good job there!

    Story: 1/10 -> never played a game I hated the story so much.

    Put a kid to kill everyone, and I mean everyone. Then people who should be more responsible choose to put themselves in risk for nothing... Then have a kid kill out of ... promise? Is this The Last of Us? Let's kill a bunch of humans, kids, dogs, pregnant women, mothers, fathers, patrol people etc.

    The only things you kill less are zombies and clickers -> you can outrun them so... the same amp to kill women and pregnant kids that are not infected cuz this is the vision of ND.

    The story is poorly driven, you have to make stuff for no f' reason and most times you would say: Joel would not want that, Joel would not do that, WTF Ellie why would you do that, ND why you force me to do that.

    And then the second part comes in and you question is WHAT?
    After you take a pause and maybe get back to the game or sell it ar Micromania (store in France related to games), or just continue because maybe the 5 stars are worth it in the end.

    Well, surprise surprise, ND decided to use bad publicity, as publicity. So no... the end of Part 2 is just sad... very sad. Ellie became a character that should just die and be at peace. Just like Joel. No more suffering, no more innocent people to die because of her.
    And the other characters -> instead of searching for the rainbows, make the rainbow...

    Remember hot the Hobbit was a very bad movie compared to The Lord of the Rings?
    Remember how the movie feels too long or too much?

    This is part 2, also too long, also done by the same team, also disappointing.
    But unlike the hobbit, this one costs 59,99 euro and you are forced to play like you don't want to, make choices that you, or the Ellie from part 1 would not make.

I would say that only a good game makes you feel that way, haha.

    The environment and combat/stealth system is actually awesome. I played on hard for my first play through and enjoyed playing conservatively when it came to encounters. Getting to explore/scavenge between fights was one of my favorite things to do. I loved reading notes left behind by others. Though that’s true from the first game as well.

    I also loved that the Infected played a bigger part even though they weren’t the main focus of the game. Their AI systems definitely got a much needed rework compared to the last game and they were more fun to go up against! Don’t let the negativity stop you from experiencing this awesome story!    … Expand

Its about how we think the same act of violence is acceptable for one person but not for another. Its about how we fight against each other , and make enemies out of people who are different. It’s about how everyone has a monster inside, and what it will take for it to come out. It’s about how life can break people. It’s about how revenge and vengeance kill the person seeking it more than the one they are seeking. It’s about how **** unfair life is. It’s about life itself...and finding a meaning for living. This isn’t a pleasant game to play, but it’s **** incredible. It makes you feel really uncomfortable. It makes you hate what you’re doing and who you’re controlling. It makes you question things you’d never thought about. It makes you hate people you thought you loved, and feel faint pangs of sympathy for those who you thought you hated, but still hate them. The ending is all kinds of frustrating. There’s no closure. But again, it’s real life. It’s a question of life purpose, the purpose of revenge vs forgiveness, and the toll seeking revenge takes on a person and their own life. Losing everything and gaining nothing in the end. It’s **** sad but real. It’s not nice. It’s a story about humans, and the darkness and light in us all. Honestly, If you don’t feel all those things, you’re looking at it in the wrong way. It was never supposed to be a happy ending. If you’re looking for one, don’t expect it with this. PS: it’s full of all the cool stuff from the first part that we all loved: fighting infected (with new additions that are really challenging), fighting enemies with incredibly realistic gameplay, new weapons, prone position for stealth missions, sniffer dogs & fight scenes so intense you hold your breath. The cinematic features & graphics are out of this world, and the ‘agenda’ (aka Ellie being gay & Lev being trans) has no real relevance to the story but is just a part of the characters’ stories and **** brilliant. And despite everything they do, Ellie and Joel remain my two favourite game characters to ever exist.    … Expand

    It makes the characters that came out in the previous game bad, and injects disgusting characters into the users.

    Visually, the game is fantastic - though I think perhaps a bit too good, as my PS4 sounded like a Jet taking off almost from start to finish. Sound design is good too, can't really dispute it on an artistic level.

    But, the uh.. Story.. Well-.. Ahem.. That's where it all goes to **** I feel far too many of the characters are either forgotten about, or just simply not developed enough. Some people die and you just - never hear about them again, despite the fact they clearly have some sort of significant relationship with surviving characters. The way the whole story is organised leaves you dissatisfied and for a game that relies so heavily on the story.. It's just not good enough. There's flashbacks within flashbacks, ham-fisted moral messages, that aren't subtle or intelligently done - like I've genuinely seen episodes of spongebob with more depth and subtlety. And I just genuinely cannot recommend this game. Unless of course, you've never played TLOU I. And even then, it's-.. Not great, and I'd wait for a serious, serious discount.    … Expand

I really don't know why people are hating this game so much. it's no the best game of course, it's not a masterpiece too but is a solid, fun game to play. Yes, sometimes the story it's weird or silly but that doesn't mean that the game is a 4.7 like currently is, it's not a 10 also but maybe a 7 or 8, yes, the game play is same as the first one with some improvements, not a game is perfect. But is fun man. A lot of games would love to have the graphics and the mechanics I mean for a PS4 to run it like it does it's pretty freaking awesome.
    The story is not the best but is not as awful as everyone is talking about. Yes, the ending is not as good I would like to be it could ended up when Ellie and Dina are in the farm and that's it.

Some reviews I’ve seen have been pathetic. A 0 for Joel dying, a 0 for Ellie being gay and saying it it doesn’t belong in the game ? Pretty strange considering it was made clear within the first game that she was gay. Joel dying in the game made the whole story actually important. It wasn’t a disregard for a beloved character as people claim. Joel died because of his actions within the hospital in the first game and saying that it was pointless people just clearly don’t understand the story. This game shows how bad the fan base for the last of us actually is. This game is phenomenal but because the so called “fans” are annoyed at the tiny little things in the game then give it a 0 rating. How about give reviews properly so the company can improve upon. This game story “isn’t all over the place” as people are saying, it makes sense. There are flashbacks through the game showing interactions between Ellie and Joel in the 4 year gap and at the half way point then switch over to Abby made complete sense, it makes you see the different side to her and why she hunted down Joel. Let talk about the ending. The ending was great and made complete sense l. Ellie obviously realised if she ends up killing Abby then the cycle will just start again. Abby killed Joel for killing her farther for Ellie to kill Abby for killing Joel would make her no better than Abby. Lev, was sat in the boat watching this happen helplessly much like how Ellie watched the Joel death. By Ellie letting Abby go this breaks the vicious cycle and for me I thought it was a brilliant end to a brilliant story. People need to get over the little things in this game that they’re giving 0 ratings for and play the game. Maybe they’ll actually enjoy it and The Last of Us 2 May get the reviews it deserves.… Expand

    At first I was worried about the quality of the game and story after such outcry. I finished playing today and couldn’t get it out of my head. Not only it’s my new favorite game, it’s probably the best movie of the year so far!! I got all the feels... never though I’d feel like crying with a game but wow, it’s truly intense.     Вся игра подводит нас к финальной сцене когда Элли в последний раз говорит с Джоэлом.
    Разговор с трудом дается и ей и ему. И в процессе разговора, не смотря на свою обиду и злость, Элли осознает, что Джоэл искренне любит ее не смотря ни на что, и что он не сожалеет о совершенном когда-то в прошлом поступке и готов повторить его снова.
    Играет перебор из композиции "Unbroken". Элли прощается с Джоэлом.
    Джоэл отвечает ей, но не поворачивает головы в ее сторону не потому что он обижен на Элли , а потому что у него слезы благодарности в глазах и он по мужски некомфортно чувствует себя и не хочет чтобы Элли увидела их.
    "The last of us" это игра о всеослепляющей мести, но эта история об умении прощать. Прощать близких нам людей, прощать врагов, прощать самих себя.
    Скажу только одно, 10 из 10 и никто меня не переубедит.
    PS: Тех, кому игра не понравилась я не могу понять, но постараюсь ))    … Expand

They failed to understand players, even their former work. The last thing they can do is just delete bad comments, and mock users. Just save your money for ghost or cyberpunk... If you want to buy this garbage and to fund ******dog for TLOU3, which obviously will be another trash, then buy/play it. That is the way of ruining a game industry.… Expand

    The gameplay and combat, while keeping true to the style of the previous game, has been vastly improved, and shows the contrast between Joel’s old and strong style, and Ellie’s young and agile one.     Naughty Dog has delivered their staple stellar storytelling yet again, in the best and most harrowing way possible. I cried, I laughed, I got mad, and I felt pain with Ellie and all the other charac ters. With such dark themes, I expect it to be a divisive one, in a good way. It will inspire philosophical debate and conversation on how fragile humanity truly is.

    The technical side is absolute perfection. Not a single glitch was noticed, it ran on a stable 30fps, and it just looks oh so gorgeous. It’s amazing what they did with a 7 year old piece of hardware. Up there with Red Dead Redemption 2 and Uncharted 4 as the best looking games ever, maybe even having a slight, yet noticeable, edge.

    This is a strong contender for GOTY, and a strong early contender for Game of The Decade.    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
