    Puedo comprender que a mucha gente no le haya gustado la historia, pero no porque sea mala, sino porque no es lo que parecía que iba a ser. Me acuerdo del primer trailer, y el juego no tiene nada que ver con el.
    Aun así, me ha sorprendido, mucho. Creo que es un imprescindible. Si el primer juego está en el top 5 de todos los tiempos para mi, este estaría en el top 20.

Abby's personality may have had a huge influence from joels actions so you have to take that in mind, and you cant just be blindly in love with your main characters of before because these have flaws also, like ellies relentless path of revenge contrary to her desire to have been used for the best for humanity, joel was selfish in a way too, saving a life you care implies sacrificing many others in this case (gray choice of a gray character also), talking about ellie humanity and the struggles of PTSD was great, game also shows the complexity of human minds when taking rash choices as when they decide to let each other live, as they somehow learn the value of life, and try to redeem thwmselves, whicj was the sanest choice imo. my point is the main characters are just as gray as anybody else , not black or white not bad or good, the emotional impact of the final battle beetween them got me greatly, taking that all in mind.… Expand

    I’m going to try and keep this review as objective as possible. I think how people view this game will be very different. I think the first thing to know about this game is that it has the capacity to be great, and to be horrible. I was a huge fan of the first game, and *full disclosure I am also socially leaning conservative based on the current American scale of politics. So I didn’t care for that much of the themes of social justice embedded in the game. To me, these things were easy to look past. All it really is trying to say is to treat people like human beings and that’s a fair thing to ask. I think if you look past the political things, the Last of Us Part II is a hugely emotionally compelling game. If you think about it, a game that generates so much love and hate wouldn’t be at least somewhat interesting if it didn’t have something to love or to hate. The Last of Us Part I left me in tears because of the intricate and masterful presentation of the relationship between Joel and Ellie. Part II to me strives on something different. It thrives on a journey of solace, portrays a path of blindness. If you are confused about that statement, I would compare the journey of this game to the story in Dante’s “The Divine Comedy.” It’s just filled more with emotion. I was forced by the games narrative to do things I didn’t want to do, which worked on me but might not have with others, but is nonetheless a predisposition you must acquire before confronted with the ending. A good video game to me is like a good book. It’s something that strikes a little bit different every time you visit it. It would constantly lure you in short moments of longing and emotions. For this one, it is an overwhelming sense of loneliness. And if you take the time to play the game and look in its details, just as you take the time to look at the language and syntax used in a good book, there are moments of joy, horror, chaos, tranquility for you to enjoy. The Last of Us Part II ended for me the same way a powerful movie did: it made me reflect on the journey and my own life.

    If you ask me why people hate it, it’s because of the plot. There are certain things such as the sequencing of the narrative and plot points people detested, understandably. I would say that to play this game with the right mentality requires you to think outside of the game for a second about why the developers and writers chose that path. I know it’s not your job to do that as a player, but if you do, the reward would be much greater than the anger you might receive when you don’t. There were things in the first game that made me feel uncomfortable too, such as *spoiler the death of Tess *end spoiler. But that was nothing compared to the shock things in this game caused people, and I think for many the shock is just the straw that broke the camels back which is funny because there really wasn’t many straws as far as I could tell due to the high expectations for this game. Perhaps because The Last of Us Part I was such an unexpected masterpiece that without expectations people enjoyed it immensely, but this new game didn’t surpass the expectation set up by the first game by all that much. If you’ve played the first game, then you’d know this already, don’t go into the game with expectations, especially expectations for an happy ending. Ultimately, is the game worth your money. I’d say yes. If you liked it then you’d probably say in hindsight that you’d pay $120 for the game if they set it there. If you didn’t, then at least you’d get a certain satisfaction of complaining about it in the forums. But I’d say if you play it the right way with minimal expectations, you will get a decent amount guaranteed out of it.

    The mentality I referred to can be understood as what George R.R. Martin said in terms of what fantasy has the capacity to do. For those of you who are not GOT fans, don’t worry, this is just a general quote.

    “We read fantasy to find the colors again, I think. To taste strong spices and hear the songs the sirens sang. There is something old and true that speaks to something deep within us, to the child who dreamt that one day he would hunt the forests of the night, and feast beneath the hollow hills, and find a love to last forever something south of Oz and north of Shangri-La.

    They can keep their heaven. When I die, I’d sooner go to middle earth.”

    Works of fantasy only works if the reader or player holds nothing back and just go along with the experience. When people approach it with a critic’s eye, they’d lose sight on the magic of fantasy. Go your own path, live your own life, draw your own conclusions.

    Here is one last quote I pulled from “The Divine Comedy.” You’d find it hits a bit differently once you finish your journey the same way I did.

    I did not see any trailer or information before I played this game. My only expectations were the ones I got from playing the first part.

    I believe this game is amazing graphically. I felt like a horrible person playing this game and I think that is the beauty of this game, it made me feel many kinds of ways, including ways I never felt before playing a game.     The story is not what I expected but I went into the ride the creators presented to us and I think it made sense at the end. I wish I had played a different story but that doesn't change that this revenge story was bad, it was really great in my opinion.

    Things that would have made it a 10 for me.

    Maybe changing the pacing. I was too impatient to get to the theatre when I was playing as Abby, which made me enjoying Abbys part a bit less, or not pay so much attention to her point of view because I was more interested in what would happen after.

    The combat system became a bit tedious before the end, I would have been happy with a slightly shorter game.

    I have read some reviews and realized that people are really angry at the misleading trailers of the game. I totally sympathize with those people. I believe is not ethically right to mislead the audience, you either don't present any trailer or present a faithful one. I always stay away from trailers as much as possible, so I cant get angry for that, but please stop this kind of behaviour in the media industry, misleading is not an honest way to subvert expectations.    … Expand

    Tutto ciò che era il primo The Last of us portato all'ennesima potenza sia nel comparto tecnico sia nel comparto narrativo. The last of us parte 2 riesce ad offrire al giocatore un'esperienza avvolta nel dolore e nella voglia di volersi vendicare. Gioco da giocare assolutamente.

Касательно сюжета, то мне в принципе он зашел, над ним можно подумать, но я прекрасно понимаю почему многим он не понравился. Hayatımda ilk kez bir oyunun sonunda ağladım. 2 bin film, yüzlerce oyun ve diziden sonra ana akım bir işin beni artık şaşırtamayacağını düşünürken bu oyun beni hem çok etkiledi hem de şaşırttı. Neresinden başlasam, hangi anını anlatsam bilemiyorum gerçekten.

    Joel'in ölümü hem hikaye unsuru hem de yönetmenlik açısından çok etkileyiciydi. İlk oyunda yönettiğimiz karakterin, ikinci oyunun başında öldürmek çok cesurca. Sırf bu yüzden çok tepki çektiler ama bence yerinde bir karar olmuş. Birbirinin aynısı Hollywood senaryosu yazan korkaklara ders olsun.

    Ellie ile intikam yeminleri edip, duvarları yumrukladıktan sonra oyun bizi açık dünyaya bıraktığında dandik keşif işleriyle uğraşacağız ve odağımız kaybolacak diye korkmuştum ama sadece o bölüme özelmiş. Ellie ilerlerken herkesi tek tek ve acımasızca öldürürken, kendi kişiliği de büyük ölçüde değişti. Ellie o ana kadar yüzlerce kişi öldürmüş olsa da bir cani ya da işkenceci değil, sadece hayatta kalmaya çalışan birisi, en olsa asker. Bu işkenceleri yapmak onu mahvetti ve hamile Mel'i öldürmenin yarattığı şok etkisiyle artık bu işten vazgeçmişti. Bu esnada oyun, o ana kadar öldürme yeminleri ettiğimiz kişinin hikayesini anlatmaya ve onu oynatmaya başladı bize. Sonrasında Ellie tekrar saldırdığında, hem görsel hem de duygusal açıdan bir oyunda oynadığım en etkileyici final dövüşlerinden birisi oldu. Ellie, Abby'yi bıraktığında da oyun beni bu sona ikna etti. Çünkü oyunun süresi bu tarz bir oyuna göre o kadar uzundu ki karakterlerin yorgunluğunu oyuncu olarak biz de hissettik. Zaten bir eserdeki en önemli şey olanlara sizi ikna etmesidir. Ben bu oyundan bu açıdan tümüyle razıyım.

    Karakter animasyonlarının gerçekçiliği, her bir kasın oynamasının görünmesi, yüz mimiklerinin netliği harikaydı. Yakın dövüşün tokluğu devam ediyor. Gizli öldürürken fışkıran kan, boyun kırarken kurbanın direnirkenki yüz ifadesi çok tatmin edici.

    Mekan tasarımları, konsept çizimler, bölüm dizaynları yine harika.

    Ses tasarımı en iyisi. Ölürken can çekişen düşmanın feryat figan bağırması, boynundan vurulanın çıkardığı köpürcüklü ses çok tatmin edici.

    Grupta son kalan düşmanın yenildiğinde diz çöküp af dilemesi ama buna rağmen onu vahşice öldürmemiz büyük haz veriyordu.

    Oyunda en etkilendiğim sahnelerden birisi ise Abby ile Lev'in köyünden kaçarken cüsseli bir adamla yaptığımız, onun suratını bıçakla yardığımız ve sonra ağzını yüzünü parçaladığımız yakın dövüş. Her anı muhteşem etkileyiciydi.

    İlk oyundaki büyük eksiklerden birisi olan boss savaşı bu oyunda bir kaç tane var. İki tane Ellie vs Abby savaşı çok iyiydi. Abby ile hastane garajında savaştığımız, bir kaç insanın birleşiminden oluşan boss hem görünüş hem de zorluk açısından büyük keyif veriyordu.

    Abby'nin yükseklik korkusu olmasına rağmen ilaç için gökdelenler arasında geçiş yaptığı sahnenin verdiği his, orada geçen diyaloglar, karaktere daha da bağlanmamıza neden oldu.

    Oyunun bence tek eksisi, uzun oynanış süresinde bir yerden sonra çer çöp toplamak, onlar için her köşe bucağa bakmak sıkıcı bir hale geliyor. Benim bıkkınlığıma, ilk oyunu buna başlamadan 4 gün önce bitirmiş olmam da neden olmuş olabilir.

    Neticede ikonik birçok anı ve oynanıştaki tatmin ediciliği nedeniyle oynadığım en iyi oyun oldu diyebilirim.    … Expand

    I can't say enough positive things about this gaming experience. I avoided the controversy, spoilers, and a lot of attention and just play the game. I fell in love with it, like the first one. If you're playing to experience the first one, then play the first one.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Thanks for the mind-fck, Naughty Dog. I've never played a game that I hated this much. It was like root canal work without anaesthetic; I couldn't bail until it was finished, but hated 90% of the experience. The only good thing about it was that it's over, I've done it, the pain will go away. I'm not a masochist, I didn't need to act through this double guilt trip. The characters made dumb, selfish decisions that not only seemed unrealistic for them especially, but for any drama generally. A "revenge movie" couldn't get away with this crap. ND did achieve one thing; set a bottom line for how evil anti-heroes can get. Other games give players the *option* to maim and kill, like Mass Effect, Metro:Exodus and others. It even adds to the replayability. When the player is forced to butcher fully-developed NPCs (even a freaking dog!) in a way that goes against ones own grain, and that of the character - that's gonna leave a mark. So in the future, if I want to spend my free time feeling miserable about stupid, bad things I did because the game gave no other options, I'll just look for Last of Us 3.… Expand

    I enjoyed the game very much. The story is not particularly complex but it triggers an emotional roller coaster.

    The Abby part felt a little too long in the end, but I didn't find it bad.

    Many new interesting characters for which I am grateful. But I'm even more grateful for our girl Ellie. She is such a strong woman

    Everyone who likes the genre should have played this game at least once.

    Undoubtedly it is a masterpiece of the PS4 generation. It will hit you emotionally and psychologically in such a way a video game has never done before. Excellent story telling, gameplay and graphics which will blow your mind. An extremely brave execution by Neil Druckmann which hits all the nails it should have..

    The Last of Us Part II es un juego maravilloso, es dos veces mejor que el primer juego, con gráficos bien diseñados y con un ambiente tan realista.     I loved this game, the whole experience even though I suffered with some events, I cried and got angry It took me on an incredibly journey. Obviously the technical aspect is mesmerizing but I have never played a game with that strong storytelling. I really was transported to the world of LOUII and looked at that world through different eyes and circumstances. Awesome awesome game!!

    I'll skip over the gameplay/graphics because they're top notch.

    But the story, the themes it plays with, the emotions it triggers... wow, it was exhausting, it was tough, sometimes I didn't even want to do what the game wanted me to. But I understood that I had to go through it.
    This isn't your typical revenge story that required you to get your revenge at the end. This is a story about grief and forgiveness.
    This is a story about how important it is to walk into someone else's shoes.

    SPOILERS AHEAD!

    The developers did an amazing job at making us feel enraged at Abby for what she did to Joel. We weren't just playing Ellie, we were Ellie, we understood her motivations and goals and we were up for it. But slowly we started seeing the cracks in her. The increasing violence to reach her goal, to kill the woman who killed Joel. And she sees it too but waves it all away because killing Abby is all that matters. And we do the same, we question sometimes her actions but we push through. We wave away Dina's concerns so we can head off early to get to Nora. We're so blinded by our thirst for revenge that nothing else matters.
    And then we kill a pregnant woman, we get everyone back and we realize that maybe, maybe it's time to put an end to this.

    Enter Abby.

    I'll be honest, the first hours playing Abby I was mad, like, why am I playing the antagonist here?!
    Why should I care about her?!

    But then her story unfolds, we see a teenager who's lost her father and is struck with grief for years, and won't ever let go. Even straining her relationship with her friends. Pushing away Owen. She's not realising it yet but she's starting to lose herself. But regardless, revenge is all that matters to her. So she tracks Joel and gets her revenge. And believe me, that thirst will have you do the most despicable things.

    So we play her for the most of the second half of the game. We see her brash/arrogant attitude take a hit when she's being questioned in her belief in the WLF. When the story forces her to care for someone other than herself, for Lev and Yara.
    And this awakens something in her, since her dad's passing, while she had friends, she was ultimately a loner. Lev and Yara showed her another part of her that she forgot was there. She realises that, even says it at one point that she's doing it for herself. She realizes that she has to save herself.
    And she had to walk into someone else's shoes (Lev and Yara's) to get to that conclusion.
    This culminates with the WLF attack on the Seraphites, 2 groups so hellbent on revenge and destruction, they self-destruct, leaving nothing but ashes behind them.
    They forgot their humanity and all that mattered was making the other pay.

    Abby wasn't about that anymore, she wanted out, she wanted to care for herself and others, something she hadn't done since her dad's passing.

    And then she goes back to the Aquarium and revenge takes over again. She wants blood. She gets Jesse's, nearly gets Tommy's and if it wasn't for Lev, she would've had Dina's.
    In that scene, Lev is Abby's anchor to her humane side, he pulls her back before she crosses that line.
    In her quest for revenge against Joel, she's lost everything and everyone, except for Lev. When her eyes open to that, she finally calls it quits, she breaks her cycle of revenge, of destruction. She's ready to rebuild herself by helping provide a brighter future to Lev.

    Ellie on the other hand, she hasn't come to terms, because for her it wasn't all about avenging Joel, but about mending her relationship with him. They had started to mend things out when Abby pulled the rug from under them. Ellie hadn't forgiven Joel for not letting her life mean something and save the world. But she wanted to try.

    That thought is still in her head months later, even as DIna and her have a restful farmlife. But the thought is clinging to her brain like the fungus. It won't let go unless she does something.

    And that something leads her into her revenge path again, she doesn't want to do it but she has to. This is a brilliant representation of mental illness, of ptsd. It's not about the wants but about the urges, the itch that needs scratching. And this is one Ellie can't stand anymore.

    She goes out to enact revenge on Abby.

    When she finds her, Abby is a shell of her old self because of slavery. Ellie is almost hesitant but she has to do it, she doesn't say "want", but "have to". It's an urge.
    She almost kills Abby, but in that moment, a flash of Joel goes through her mind. She finally realises that killing her won't bring her peace. If anything, it'll make her feel more miserable.
    No, her salvation will come from somewhere different.

    She lets Abby go, and by doing so, she forgives Joel for what he had done in Part I.
    She's lost a lot but kept what remained of her humanity. Enough to rebuild what had been lost.
    That's why I'm looking forward to Part III...    … Expand

    This game is an absolute masterpiece 7 years in the waiting well worth it. This games story is something different and unique and really realistic and true to characters. Its an emotional experience and really dark at times. With some minor flaws of pacing like half way through the game it throws you back ain the beginning with another character to show their point of view.

    The Last of Us Part II is a worthy sequel. The gameplay was tightened up and improved, but the core remained the same. The graphics are good, but not great. The story is great, but Abby's campaign is not great. I remember the ending of the game, the message of the game is ambiguous. The game retains the thesis of the first part about the meaning of life and the struggle for it.

    Naughty Dog took everything that was beloved about the 1st game and threw it all away. The father-daughter hard-earned relationship built up between Joel and Ellie? Gone. The caring, "I would do anything to save you (Ellie)", love that Joel had to protect Ellie? Gone.

    Joel *is* one of the main characters of The Last of Us (and my favorite) and ND kills him off in a lazy cutscene that is so ridiculous and unbelievable you wonder how lazy Neil Druckmann got. Joel (and Ellie) have taken down hundreds of Infected and encountered disturbed Humans (like the Cannibals) in Part 1. Joel and Tommy (his brother) have seen all manner of corrupted people, so there's ZERO chance Joel would just roll into the WLF facility, unguarded and let himself get captured (and then killed in a cutscene). Awful.

    The worst part is that he dies by the hand of basically the child of a random NPC you kill in Part 1. Just a grunt. But they try and make Abby's story "meaningful", except NO ONE asked or cared about wanting to play the daughter of a random Firefly NPC. Abby's story and the WLF's feels like filler / junk, and you're *forced* to spend hours (a good 40% of the game?) playing this terrible side character.

    Then you're forced as the player to try and fight and kill Ellie (the other main character), as Abby. WTH?! Sure it sounds "novel" but as a player and longtime fan of Part 1, disregarding your main 2 characters Joel and Ellie, and trying to play through this game as Abby (part of the enemies in this universe) is disappointing and I hated every second of it.

    Again, *no one* wanted this.

    And in the end, this was just a story about Hate, Anger and Revenge. And when it failed, try revenge again, and again, and again.

    The Last of Us Part 2 has no soul, no heart. Beautiful and brutal, but a terrible story and disappointing character development for the main characters that everyone cared about in part 1. Avoid at all costs.    … Expand

    Não tenho palavras pra descrever o que eu senti com este jogo! Ele fala muito sobre o que acontece no interior das pessoas, o que exige que a gente reflita muito além do enredo.

    I just make it simple Here. The best Story and deepest characters ever created in an Franchise only existing of two Games. Will Always stay in my memory. 12/10

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is a masterpiece. Gives you an story of revenge that makes you uncomfortable, in pain, angry and sad. I understand why some people hates it. This game has a complex group of emotions that is difficult to understand for some people. In my opinion story has no flaws but some people seems to not understand Ellie's motivations to have her revenge. More than loosing Joel she is angry with herself for not forgive him. That's why her only way to forgive herself is accomplishing the revenge and kill Abby. The only part that is harder to understand is why she didn't kill Abby at the end. I know Joel wouldn't like this Ellie but I think something Lev related would be a better way to go throw this path.… Expand

    This is the greatest game of this generation. The backlash it's getting is ridiculous and the reason why we can't have nice things. I hope Naughty Dog and other devs will keep making incredible stories like the last of us 2. Games that make us feel alive.

    One of the best games I have ever played that takes cinema as it's biggest influence. Is it a game? Is it a movie? Who the **** knows but I aimed guns and fired them, ducked and dodged and crawled and pummeled attack dogs heads in and burned them to death with Molotov's and climbed skyscrapers and died over and over and enjoyed the hell out of it.     Le doy un 7 ya que la trama es buena , yo si logre empatizar con los dos personajes aunque aveces estos toman decisiones absurdas este este juego es completamente diferente al primero y me parece bueno este giro argumental

    Well, from a technical point of view, this game Is awesome. Stunning graphics, amazing sound. From a Narrative perspective, wow, this is a strong emotional game but in gameplay, I didn't find anything new. After a few hours playing I was moving forward only because of the story because I found a perfect recipe to finish my enemies.

    I don’t get all the hate for this game. I just got around to finishing it. And I have to say that I really enjoyed it! It did not hit me as hard as the first game. But it still was a great game. Nice story that makes you do hate certain characters at times(but in a way I am ok with), good game play IMO, awesome graphics for a ps4, superb acting and all that.

    I'm not gonna sit here and have people tell this game is good because I'm **** if I don't think that. Even a bad movie or game can have elements of enjoyment, this is lowlife trash. Avoid.

    Really enjoyed this game.
    Bit linear but story was really interesting.
    Upgrading the guns was fun, characters were mature and awesome.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
