This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Was okay with 16 hours of playing as Ellie and went along with the story that started to make sense within the last 5 hours and leaving you with a suspense scene, the game then interrupts the whole flow of the story and forces you to play as Abby. Okay sure I'll go along with it, after 2 hours of playing Abbys part I realised how repetitive and unrewarding the looting is.

Playing as Ellie and unlocking most her skills tree was fine but to expect me to play a new character and having to start over with a new skill tree and having scavenge all over again to upgrade my weapons and skill is just painfully tedious and repetitive. I have been playing on hard so the ammo are scaled to 1-2 per find and scrap parts are as low as 2-10 (excluding safe openings).

    So...
    A) The game stops you at 16 hours and leave you with a suspense scene, then expects you to play as another character you clearly know you don't like.
    B) You start from the very beginning after the "drastic" event that happened as the new character, which made that "drastic" decision.
    C) You have scavenge and craft upgrades for the weapons and level the new characters skill tree all over again.

In short, I did not continue after 2 hours of playing Abby's part of the game. I could not bring myself to through play through the rest of the game as it is tedious and repetitive and also I don't play unlikeable characters that clearly does not deserve playtime or a complete story from beginning to end. As for the rest of the story I guess I'll have to watch the rest of gameplay as I can't stand to play over the game's leveling and crafting mechanic.

Joel, Ellie, the programmers/graphics team deserve so much better than this awful game. Expand

The story is I dont know. I dont care about all directions that they could have gone with the story. But the main theme of the game "Revenge is bad" is generic not unique, and they were trying to make us feel bad for some characters we killed like Nora or Mel, but for me honestly they failed. I left the game not convinced that revenge is not worth it. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. So, I finally ended the game. I understand now the feelings and rage about this game. Like Joel said if he can go back to that day, he make everything again. And I think, anyone who love somebody like he loved her, do the same. Like Abby tried to revenge her father too. But, the biggest (for me) error is they make us play too much as Abby and make us almost kill Ellie.
For me, this game was a 3rd game. For 2nd game, maybe a Ellie's journey to find out about herself, the fireflies, be angry with Joel, forgive him and more with Joel. Give us some background about her, about Dina. Show us how that small camp grows that big. Something without killing all main characters.
They make us love a man, a hero and just killed on the beginning in a non human way and worse, making Ellie see all that. Seeing a '' father '' be killed on that way, is brutal. But I have to say something good. 10/10 about graphics, gameplay, music, voice and movement acting, and much more. You can see those actors give life to their characters with love and passion. Ashley Johnson is brilliant and no one can say otherwise with reason. Seeing her passion for Ellie is everything. About Troy... Idk what he felt when he knew about killing Joel so early... But I bet he felt bad.
I loved that museum part, her birthday was perfect. You can see the shine in her eyes, and Joel was soo happy to see all that. I rated 2/10 about the bad feeling I have in all the game. Anger, sadness, disgust, chills and too much violence, blood and human/animals deaths. The Last of Us isn't about zombie survival anymore. If I wanted to kill humans, I get COD or something... False advertising, naughty dog's version COD in a good graphics = Tlou2
If they make another I don't want to play it... Ended with uncharted and tlou. Good!

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Big spoilers SPOILER ALERT. Joel dies Ellie chicken out at the end and so does Abby. You kill a lot of people hunting down Abby which means a lot of new enemies and families who will probably want revenge all to find and kill Abby. However at the end you don’t kill her I think it should have been a choice at the end were you could kill Abby or not. Me I would have killed her then restart from the last save point so that I could kill her again. But Abby is alive at the end you did not get justice for Joel. If you want to make a realistic game then do the realistic stuff in the apocalypse if someone kills your father or the man who was a father to you and you hunt them down and kill a lot of people on the way you don’t chicken out you kill them. As for Abby if you are going to make a character who will torture and kill you for killing someone who is important to her then have her be that way the whole time don’t change who they are. Her friends were killed and she just chickens out when she was about to kill Ellie and her girlfriend that is not the character I was shown in the beginning of the game. Another thing they dumped down Joel in the first game he was able to tell that it was an ambush and does not stop the truck but he can’t tell that something is off. If I was Joel no way would I tell someone my real name I just met them I would give people a fake name and change the fake name every so often they really don’t have pictures they new it was him because he said I’m Joel. Bottom line I was mad when they killed of Joel I did not feel attached to Ellie and did not really care if Ellie killed Abby or if Abby killed Ellie I just wanted the person I was playing was to kill the person who was trying to kill them I was not on ether side because I did not care if either one of them died. The game story did not keep my interest. In my opinion it is nowhere near the masterpiece that first game was. The combat is good and the groups are interesting one thing I will say is I like the crafting and how they do zombies in the most realistic way possible I think that the game is a winner how it plays and the world but the story is nowhere near as good as the first game. The game got into trouble on the day when everyone seems to be tolerant of each other, but at the same time, people hate any manifestations of “unconventional” views and, accordingly, people hate each other. “The game exudes hatred,” Druckmann said. People so hate a particular character in the game, as if he was the personification of true evil, and not just a woman with an appearance that does not satisfy 80% of cis male. "Make Abby More Feminine." Why should she be so good for you? When you look at such a reaction not so much on the game as on the characters in this game, it seems ironic that the “last of us” are people who are ready to see interesting things in script decisions and perceive the characters as developers conceived. This is a game, the best thing that has happened to the gaming industry of all time. The whole resonance from the game is caused by a feeling of fear that human hatred and prejudice to the game character says a lot about the society itself and the people with whom we communicate every day, without even knowing how cruel they may be in their opinion.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. As someone who was a big fan of the Last of Us part 1, coming into the THE LAST OF US PART II I had high expectations. Now, I told myself that, I am bound to be disappointed in some factors of the game. I mean, after all, its a game I have waited for for 7 years. I went into the game with an open-mind and having ignored all the leaks and spoilers, I had no idea what I was walking into.

    Problems and misunderstanding:

    1. Joels death was painful to watch. You play as a character named Abby who is running away from a horde of zombies. You are then saved by the beloved characters, Joel and Tommy. They save you on multiple occasions and eventually you bring them back to your little hide out. Now the first issue I have here is continuity with character personalities (Characteristics/traits). Joel and Tommy are known to be survivors and it is clearly demonstrated in the first game. When I mean clearly, they literally show Joel being ruthless to a group of bandits that were pretending to be injured, knowing this, Joel goes straight through like a badass. However, this trait is no longer seen in the second game. He casually just walks into a room filled with people that are armed and unknown. He then introduces himself, eventually getting killed. You see Joel die in the most brutally and heart-wrenching way possible during the first act of the game (2 hours in). This is where people misunderstand the majority of why fans hate this. We are not upset that Joel died...its how he died. His death by the end of the game nearly meant nothing. His character is not the same character we grew to love. Nor was his death memorable or meaningful whatsoever. A lot of us understood the motive that was presented here for Ellie, and yes...it did make us angry and we too wanted revenge just like Ellie. But it was done in a way that was so lazy and poorly written.

    2. Playing as Abby. It was very obvious what the game developers were trying to do. They wanted to humanize the character. They tried manipulating the audience by using the whole animal trope where Ellie is bad for killing dogs, Abby is good for saving a zebra and is friendly with dogs. It is these subtle things that make me so frustrated with the game because these devices or elements that are used to get the audience to sympathise with Abby are poorly integrated within the game. I can say that after playing 10 hours with Abby with a storyline that hardly connected with Ellie's, I still felt nothing for her character. Even by the last fight between Ellie and Abby, I was filled with rage and wanted Abby dead so badly.

    3. Poor Character development. I didn't care one bit about any of Abby's friends. In fact, I was super happy when Manny got shot in the face. Owen and Mel's death was nice to see. For the matter a fact, Jesse and Dina were alright characters. I truly didn't think much of them at all, when Jesse died to a bullet to the face, I kind of just sat there and looked at him and shrugged it off. It was clearly just for shock value, and the characters in the game clearly didn't care either.

    4. Political Agendas. Yes...Abby may not be a transgender woman, but my goodness, she got dem guns. Basically, all the men die, woman live on! I never really cared because Ellie was and always has been the best character in the game (apart from Joel). I have always seen Ellie as a badass character. She can handle her own and take on just about anyone. That is what I call a strong, independent female character. However, it is clear that some of the games selling point has to do with the lesbian, transgender LGBTQ political point of views. I am all for these kind of things, if it doesn't affect the story...which it didn't to be quite honest. I was fine with Dina and Ellie being together because I already knew Ellie liked women from the DLC Left behind! But, my goodness, Lev was just a copy paste of trying to replicate the Ellie and Joel relationship with Abby and baldy over there. It just sucks because they could have made all these powerful messages about the LGBTQ into the game, but do it subtly and not shove it down our throats. In doing so, it makes it more impactful and meaningful in a way. LIKE WHY WAS MEL OUT IN COMBAT WHEN SHE WAS PREGNANT! WOMAN EMPOWERMENT? NO!

    5. Ellie learning her lesson at such a weird time. Wtf yo...I tried writing this review in a professional manner, but as you can see above, I have given up. What was the ending. Only after getting 2 fingers bitten off and killing maybe another 50 people she then realises she doesn't want to kill Abby??? How did she not learn her lesson the first time when she encountered her. She killed probably over 200 peeps and by the end of the story shes like nah girl. Leave with yo bald ass baby... Ellie lost everything, whilst Abby is straight drippin in gold. Joels death felt like it was for nothing and the story just ends.

7 years, we expect at least a mediocre story and game, but what we got was worse...

At the start they kill joel in the most unheroic way they could and he deserve more then that.
I think thatthe story was about revenge but why ellie needs to kill everyone exept for the one who killed joel only because joel would not want it.
Anyway... the game was not as the players expected him to be and the end was the worse ending it could ever been.
Graphics and gameplay are great and even the story is not bad but there are some places that the story makes you want to die.

    I liked the gameplay.
    Hated the story.

Not a feel good game. Not a story you want to remembe. Very bleak at times and the motivations for a lot of the violence in this game is hard to defend at times.
Lucky naughty dog have an excellent pedigree and I have loved every one of their games so far.

Not only were we deceived in the plot trailers. We were given the killer Joel, as one of the main characters of the game, this is disgusting. The game is good, but because of the dullness of the plot and the terrible ending, I put zero.

A near-masterpiece. While not as tight and single-minded as part 1, its peaks go above and beyond everything that part 1 offered. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'll admit it, halfway during the game I was ready to stop playing the game. Having to play Abby, who shattered Joel's head while Ellie watched, filled me with disgust. However, when I continued playing two days later, I came to the conclusion that Naughty did an amazing job. They had succeeded in me hating a fictional character in a video game! I felt so sorry for the way Joel had to suffer in his final moments that Abby genuinely disgusted me. Naughty Dog chose not to create an average game about revenge, but had the guts to make the players think about difficult emotions and urges and the ways people can choose to act when filled with hatred towards another person. This is truly a worthy successor to the first part and I'm really happy for Ellie to have found such deep live with Dina and JJ. I hope there will eventually be a third part, because the end of par two left me heartbroken. Expand

    H I S T O R I A

    J U G A B I L I D A D:
    Calificación: 9.9

Manejaremos a 2 personajes principales; Ellie y Abby. Jugar The Last of Us ll es toda una experiencia.

    A P A R T A D O G R Á F I C O:
C O N C L U S I O N E S: Lo que hace grandioso a The Last Of Us ll son sus personajes tan humanos. Gracias Naughty Dog. C A L I F I C A C I O N F I N A L: 9.9

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I will never be able to describe the feeling I had playing the last of us. The countless play throughs Brought me joy That other games could not.
Now I found myself playing part two just wanting to finish the game so I can get it over with. I’ve waited so long as so many other people for this just to be ruined by one person’s political/morale views.

STORY: Having Joel die for the sake of plot is such an lazy act of writing. I couldn’t even comprehend it happening while waiting for the game to release. As I witnessed his death I closed open my eyes and I had to takeoff my headphones and cried. I was crying for the fact that I couldn’t believe that this was actually happening I waited for years and supported naughty dog for them to sh** right in my face I balled out crying Knowing that the character i respected died like he was nothing. And for that it killed my enjoyment of the rest of the game. Having this take place in three days adds to the laziness. This game is very similar to uncharted in terms of how “action packed” it is in the span of time. It was very believable that Joe had that many encounters while traveling across America protecting Ellie, now Ellie fights a group of 20 people/infected every 10 minutes and is ready to go go at the next moments notice.

    CHARACTERS:
I do not care for any of the characters except for Tommy and Eli everyone could died and I wouldn’t blink an eye. Having me play as Joel’s killer felt like I was just spat in the face constantly while playing.I remember tearing up when Tess died I remember tearing up when bills lover didn’t want to be with him I remember tearing up when Sam died and his brother killed himself now I could care less. most characters are cringe or annoying. unfortunately the only non-annoying character is Jesse which people might call me sexist because he’s a male.

ELLIE: what made Ellie special was the relationship between her and Joel, having the father daughter bond or Having them travel across America and her seeing all these monuments and museums and asking these questions on how things actually were before and Joel knowing and explaining and seeing her in disbelief is what made these two characters solid, now when they go to a Monument, Museum or store they always say the same thing “I can’t believe they used to do this” or “I can’t believe they used to do that” haha hehe humans where weird. Now that the connection is gone I just feel like I have to be forced to care about there funny jokes of the past.
ABBY: Being FORCED to play as Abby during a big portion of the game was not enjoyable at all. The fact that they made her the “female Joel” made me want to stop playing immediately. combat was fun yes, but I did not want to play as Abby I did not want to see her story I did not want to see her feelings because I did not care. For some reason this game try’s to make you understand her, the only thing I understood Was that she needed to die.

    GAME PLAY:
Naughty dog always was good with game play, but in this game it waste so much time of you walking around during these “game play” cut scenes, That you find yourself bored and just wanting to get it over with. I’m actually kind of disappointed with some of the variations in game play stealth killing people is the exact same Animation over and over again no matter what character you play which is lazy and boring. I found myself having the same exact death animation as well ; getting shot in the head. I did not die any other way.

    Graphics: Beautiful but wasted.

This is such a forced game that I hope it bites Neil in his a** this is propaganda at its finest. I was 13 when the last of us came out I DO-NOT care that Eli is the main protagonist, so it’s not me being a misogynist this is Neil being a beta.

The graphics and sound effects are great but the story makes it hard to enjoy the gameplay especially when it cut to flashback after flashback that you have to play through and you are forced to play as the one who killed Joel. It wasn't fun. I am in my 2nd playthrough and I thought it would be enjoyable this time because I already know the story but unfortunately it isn't.

I will think again before buying this game because Ghost of Tsushima and Cyberpunk 2077 are on their way and you might enjoy and have fun with these games more than a game that was design to disturb you and punish you for loving the main characters of the first the last of us game. it really drains you and sucks the life out of you.

This game was hard to play. It often was not fun, was incredibly stressful, and felt unfocused in its plot.

BUT Act II really redeemed this game. It brought back the well-rounded characters, intimate moments, and relationship based narrative that TLOU captured so well. Also, this game was SO BEAUTIFUL. the graphics for this game were off the chart, and the sound design was spectacular.

I left this game questioning what i was supposed to take from it; was it a reflection on violence, love, vengeance, or the interconnectedness of human life, or possibly a critique on spirituality? Maybe all of the above.

Either way you may not enjoy playing this game, but it will likely make you feel something, which is why we all loved the original TLOU.

И всё это вместе делает The last of us 2 жестокой, с неоднозначным финалом. Joel, the main protagonist from the first game, is brutally murdered by Abby. Most of the characters from the first game act contrary from how they were in the first game. You are forced to play as Abby in a petty revenge story even after brutally murdering him. Ellie kills most of the group that hunted down and killed Joel. In the end, Ellie, after losing everything lets Abby go. This is so ridiculous. The story is one of the worst I've ever encountered in a video game. The marketing was also manipulated so that players thought that Joel was still alive and would play a bigger role in the game. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The downfall of The Last Of Us Part II is in its foundation. The developers thought that The Last Of Us was all about idealogy and philosophy. This is not entirely wrong as that aspect of the game was huge in the original. Although what really drove the first game was the relationships each character has with each other. Joel, Ellie, Sarah, Marlene, Tess, Bill, Sam and Henry are all connected naturally. The ideas the first game presents builds these relationships stronger. However in the second game the ideas it's trying to present compromises the relationships the game has; effectively taking away the game's essence. This is true as most relationships in the game felt forced. Majority of it felt like the developers were trying to reignite the spark they made with Riley and Ellie's in Left Behind. Sadly playful banters and meaningful scenes will not be effective without grounded reason in their relationship. The game did not show or explain why Dina liked Ellie or why Abby and Owen are in love; they just are. The Last of Us Part II also takes deaths and its shock value for granted as many deaths in the game were purely for shock value. Some examples are the deaths of Jessie, Owen, Mel and Yarah. I find it hard to see the reason to kill these characters apart from surprising the player. In the first game deaths of characters had meaning in them such as the deaths of Tess, Marlene, Sarah and Sam and Henry's. These deaths hold shock value but also holds meaning and reason to it. This shows the lack of priority the second game has for characters. If anything the game prioritizes Abby's character the most as her story tries its best to make her sympathetic to the player. Which I believe is the reason why many who play the game despises the character of Abby. Abby felt like she was forced to be in the game and that the developers were forcing the players to like her. The Last of Us Part II had a promising concept of seeing the sides of the people Joel and Ellie crossed agaisnt. This concept, sadly, was poorly executed. The community wanted a sequel to The Last of Us Part II. Which was supposedly a story now revolving on the choices the characters made in the original and its impact on the characters; especially Joel's choice. Although it was touched by the second game through its flashbacks, it really did not do anything significant to the main plot and was there to let the players feel teased of what could have been the true sequel. The best parts of the game were undoubtedly the flashbacks as it is the only part which really captures the essence of The Last Of Us. Despite having great graphics and ideal gameplay for the genre it is not enough to save The Last of Us Part II from having a low rating. As games like this are played for the story and not for the gameplay. Expand

Awesome graphics and attention to detail in environments - felt really ripped off that I had to play a character I hated that was not advertised or promoted in any of the trailers. Really misleading marketing.
I got the platinum and finishing it the second time skipping cut scenes, I finished it half the time. there is too much padding that adds no value to the story or immersion.

Graphics: 10/10. Best of PS4 IMO

Now for the controversial aspects... Gameplay: 9/10

A lot of you talk about how this only had minor improvements over TLOU1. I ask you, nay plead with you, to watch Voyager's TLOU2 brutal combat video. If you are good at the game and tweak the settings to your liking, you can have a hell of a good time every minute of combat. Do it. Your jaw will drop. Story: 8/10
I actually really loved this emotional roller coaster ride. Yes, even the ending. Certain points in the story will make you upset, and that was the director's intention. You are supposed to be mad. I don't mind Joel getting done dirty. He massacred the fireflies... it's only reasonable that they would have their revenge at the first opportunity and it not need to be built-up. That's not how life works, people. Stuff just happens that we wish didn't happen in life and I like the game's brutal reminder of that. I'm docking the story one point because I don't quite buy Joel stating his name to business. Maybe if the game showed his five years in a safe town (even older now) as a means to soften his character, then maybe... But they should have given us more to fuel that logic. I've docked it another full point for two reasons in one: because there definitely was a bit of pandering. I don't mind inclusion at all! Some stuff was just too on-the-nose for my liking. I'm not actually referring to Abby, but Lev's arc. I actually did like Abby. She grew on me! She's very easy to initially view as ugly--- inside and out - - - (her hatred conveyed through her expressions... I'm not talking about her resting physical appearance). Also the sex scene wasn't necessary simply because I doubt they'd have made such a scene with a more... "conventionally attractive" person. It kind of felt like they were saying "Look at this! You SHOULD think this is beautiful.". I don't know what else to say besides it just felt forced. I got over it, though. I was considering docking this section a third point because I was having a hard time buying that Ellie would leave after killing Mel and Owen. But then I thought about it... she was in shock and traumatized after crossing such a huge moral line, regardless of intention. But then as we found out, Abby wasn't there yet anyway so they may have looked around for her for hours and realized she was gone. I was considering giving the story a 7/10, but I just thought the story was such an emotional roller coaster (that I mostly thoroughly enjoyed) that I can't in good conscience score it a 7/10. It's an 8/10 for these creative choices they took. If they handled Joel's death better and cooled it with the on the nose pandering, I would have given it a 10.

I, for one, absolutely loved how it ended. I don't mind the choice Ellie made. I understand why she made it. I understand it because I played the game thoroughly and I understood Abby's motivations. To sum the two games. TLOU1:
The main character travels far and wide to accomplish their goal, and intimately "makes the wrong decision" by changing their mind... For personal reasons.

TLOU2: The main character travels far and wide to accomplish their goal, and intimately "makes the wrong decision" by changing their mind... For personal reasons. Thanks everyone!

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Imagine you loved the movie Rambo and go to the cinema to watch the sequel and... What the hell? Summary:
-Two lesbian teenagers with fragile emotions decide to go they alone against a full army for revenge.
-A lot of mercenary women, more than men, and surely equally paid.
-A trans kid victim of a religious cult.
-And lots of depressing feelings, etc..
imposible to get your mind into the story. First one was simple and worked well. They had to go from point A to point B to save humanity and had to defend themselves through the way. Violence was justified. They had no option. Characters were credible, you empathize, you get into the game. Simple. This sequel is just ridiculous. A great example of how to destroy a franchise. Sorry for my english.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. the game is technically excellent. despite this, I can’t give a high rating due to the plot, namely, due to the loss of one of the characters that all fans of the series love. The developers should first of all focus on the fans of the series who buy their game, and not for journalists who may not play this game. and fans didn’t wait. 1 out of 10 Expand

Loved the first game, but this sequel tried to push its agenda through characters like Eillie and Abby rather than good story telling. By starting it the same way Terminator dark fate did. Beloved franchises dying is apparently the new normal.

Clearly Druckmann used a powerfull game to stand his flags in a exagerate way, please on the next time, do a new IP for this and see if your gains will be so good like this one. The bigger problem here was the interference on all the core of the first game and another unecessary ways to destroy relationships so beautyfully constructed.

This is not a game this is propaganda.
Every minute this game promotes its "children" views. This is not a post-apocalypse, it is a rape of common sense.

This game is good. It really makes you laugh ou cry sometimes. The characters are good and the gameplay is great (think I don't need to say that the graphics are incredibles).

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. SPOILER!! (Note: I am a massive fan of the first game)

I honestly came to love and appreciate the game. Neil Druckmann and his team did an absolutely stunning job with this game.

Yeah I also hated the fact that I had to play Abby but, throughout her play she reminded me of Joel. No, I don't agree with what she did to Joel and I hated her at the beginning too BUT I came to understand that she blamed Joel not just for her father's death but that there was no cure and that she was left without the Fireflies too. Like how Joel softened up for Ellie, she softened up for Lev and Yara. Joel tortured people in the first game to find Ellie and she tortured Joel. We saw parts of Ellie's, Joel's, and Abby's lives. We didn't see if Joel went after the military to avenge Sarah, Tommy said that he and Joel did horrible things and he wish he didn't survive those early years.

Personally, I believe you should not hate the game just because of Abby. The entire plot is about revenge and never knowing or understanding the other side of the situation. The game showed the true harshness of surviving in a post-apocalyptic world, that you do all that you can to survive and protect those you care about. Revenge is a game where you never win it all but, you can lose it all.

P.S. that last scene where Abby is carrying Lev and Ellie is looking at them from behind reminded me of Joel carrying Sarah.

If you're having Problems with the Story, you're the problem.
    Abby is NOT the problem.

But a big lack of empathy is whats wrong with today's society.
So it was kind of predictable. And Naughty Dog probably knew that.

This game is beautiful. It's amazing.
It's far from being perfect (In terms of game-play and length), but it's an amazing ride.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I never used metacritic, this account is created for this game, to let naughty dog know my anger. I need to announce at first that this 3 only gives to all developers who create this wonderful world and offer the impressive gameplay. Sorry I can't give them higher as it will raise the average, which I don't expect at all.

The reason of this low score is clear, the story. I can accept Joel's death even that really broken my heart to pieces. There are many other things to complain. For Owen and Mel, it was them try to kill you first, and they nearly did it. Why did Ellie feel something like regret first but not rejoice you still alive? Then Abby came all the way to Ellie's shelter. When I expected a real fight before I cut that gorilla into pieces, the story turned to the side of ABBY?? Do you know how I feel when I have to control someone I want to kill and forced to keep she alive? And it kept for hours! Nearly a half of the game! I come for Ellie and Joel, not Abby!

I skipped all CG of this Abby and finally finished all her story, the you just told me to hunt Ellie by Abby!??? What's wrong with you! How dare you! I played that far to see Abby's death and now you want me to kill Ellie? My anger raised up for every punch from Abby!

And the last part, I finally reached her and all I need is a bullet through Abby's head, but why Ellie put her down and let her go? She nearly drown Abby, but she released her after Joel flashed through her mind. What? Why? Why this? Why let her go? WHAT IS THIS GAME WASTED MY 3 DAYS!??

I know I really need to calm down, but I just can't. I guess it's exactly what you want me to feel after I played your MASTERPIECE. Now take my revenge, naughty DOG.

The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.

If you loved the original for its great characters and well-paced story – stay away from this game. However, if you’re aching to sink into the depths of depression, or just want to cut some throats and burn some zombies – Part II will deliver. [Issue#247, p.72]
