    The first game was good, but it was important to us all as it set the heights of what video games could achieve if care, attention and love was put in to a title.

    Sadly, the second installment of this game is more of an impostor, riding in on the coat tails of its predecessor. A politically driven mess of a story that eventually finishes on a completely pointless and flat note.     Yes, the environment is gorgeous. The character animations are second to none, and the gameplay is as good as the first albeit, not improved in any way.

    Neil Druckmann, you should be ashamed of yourself for this. How can this game receive stellar reviews from critics and such bad ones from users? Shady, under the table deals. That's how.

    I played Last of Us 1 on launch and never wanted a sequel. I was so afraid that they would mess up one of my favorite endings in gaming. I could not be happier with the sequel we got. It did everything I wanted it to and more. I have some small gameplay nitpicks such as being unable to switch camera shoulders outside of ADS and being forced to take some skills I wasn't going to use, but asI played Last of Us 1 on launch and never wanted a sequel. I was so afraid that they would mess up one of my favorite endings in gaming. I could not be happier with the sequel we got. It did everything I wanted it to and more. I have some small gameplay nitpicks such as being unable to switch camera shoulders outside of ADS and being forced to take some skills I wasn't going to use, but as a whole, I think they improved the gameplay of the first game in every way. The combat is brutal and shocking, the infected are terrifying, and scavenging is still rewarded with mini in-universe stories and bits of exposition that really heighten the experience.

    The story is incredible in my opinion. It is emotionally devastating and not easy, but very satisfying and really carry over the themes from the first game quite well. There are some small changes that I would make to the story as well just to help with pacing and unity but even these are minor.

    I did not see any of the negative reactions until after I had finished the game and I am so grateful I stayed away because much of the criticism seems in really bad faith to me. I think that there absolutely can be plenty of good conversations about what this game did well and where it fell short but unfortunately any discussion of this game is hijacked by bad actors and bandwagon haters.

    My recommendation is that you play the game for yourself, ignore anything anyone else says, including me and make up your own opinion.    … Expand

    The Spongebob game has better plot than this. Tlou 2 is more focused on lgbt and variety than it's damn story, what is gaming industry coming to.

    Это что получается? Что графика,механика,анимация и так далее все сделано на 0?
    Вы вообще не адекватные! Да,сюжет очень спорный. Но мне понравился! В конце тупо чуть не рыдал)
    Хотя в начале игры так же говнил на игру. И так же говорил WTF какого так предсказуемо и Джоел отупел(списал на то что за 5 лет расслабился, охотясь на зараженных и постарел)
    А потом понял что Дракман хотел показать месть и ненависть. И у него это получилось!
    Вот сидел на своем монике и тупо наслаждался графикой и о*вал. Сколько они работы проделали. Я работаю в сфере IT и понимаю, как же это трудно, вот это все сделать. Это не комментарии строчить в сети. То что сделала компания "игривый щенок" просто поражает.
    На таком запоре, завести такой графоний и скорей всего отлично оптимизирован код. Они походу жили в студии чтоб сделать такое.
    Я не могу понять нытиков, которые говорят что сюжет длинный?! Когда сюжет короткий ноете,когда длинный тоже ноете. Вы купили игру за 60$ или 4300 рубасов и ноете что сюжет длинный? Да она окупается за эти деньги что хочу вам сказать.
    По поводу сюжета я доволен. НО.. Я бы согласился посмотреть на 1 версию сюжета или сделать сюжет Эбби как DCL. С отдельной веткой. Чтоб избежать нытья о том "зачем мы играем за стероиды"
    В общем моя настоящая оценка 8.5 баллов. Эти 1.5 балла, я снизил за некоторые дыры в сюжете и пропаганду ЛГБТ,Трансов и так далее. В остальном все сделано на высшем уровне    … Expand

    El juego esta bastante entretenido aunque pudo haber tenido mejoras en la historia aún así la jugabilidad con las mejoras que ha tenido, entretiene bastante y dependiendo de la dificultad que juegues sufres la supervivencia al limite. Lo cual da una experiencia bastante satisfactoria al momento de tener éxito en lo que te propongas.

    Un juego maravilloso en todo su aspecto sin duda ,se los recomiendo a todo aquel q tenga un ps4 no se les puede escapar esta obra de arte .. le doy 9 xq en historia le faltó un poco más y han confirmado q no tendrá dlc , aún le falta el multijugador ...

    En mi opinión, es una obra maestra si hablamos de gráficos pero enfocándose en la historia esta no es la mejor, entendi el punto de vista de abby pero ella nunca entendió el de ellie por lo tanto no lo hizo con nosotros, hay problemas con lo que es el realismo en ciertos casos pero tiene buen potencial sin tener en cuenta lo antes dicho

    I didn't know how to feel about this game first... so I thought trough everything i liked and hated in this game and it became clear that this might just be one of the best games out there. So stop giving bad ratings to this game if you haven't played it! Play it, it is WORTH IT!

Overall I really enjoyed the game, the gameplay is enhanced from the first game and that is what's important to me. The graphics look nice too but that matters a bit less. The main thing holding it back for me is the story and the pacing, I hated the second half of it when I took control of Abby while the gameplay is the same it broke the pace by having us start over in progression and we have to play as the villain all of a sudden. To say it was a jolt is an understatement. I spent a good chunk at the start just killing her anyway I could. Knowing what she did I could not forgive her because she is a hypocrite. Her revenge is justified but Ellie's isn't. About halfway through playing as her I started to ignore it but I still couldn't get over it. Another thing that bugs me is the tacked on epilogue, the game should have ended in Seattle but it kept going, with Santa Barbra once again breaking the pace, and that is the main issue for me overall. However, I did enjoy my time with it and since gameplay is the most important thing for me in a video game I believe my score is fair.… Expand

You can play a second time and get a different experience than the first time solely on merits of the story. In a non-RPG game that is an exceptional achievement.

It allows fine grained difficulty changes rather than the usual "easy-medium-hard" which allows you to play exactly as you like. One of the protagonists is built to allow a more combat oriented style of gameplay, allowing you to experience the game mechanics from a different angle you may shy away from as the stealthy Ellie-Joel from the first game.

    It should be said that the subject matter is brutal and the story takes you to visual and emotional places that can be very draining. This world is harsh, but thematically it is a search for light in the darkness, and what constitutes that light.    … Expand

The Last Of Us Part 2 é o jogo a qual estávamos esperando, fugir da mesmice, te incentivar a ter vontade de jogar em um mundo de jogos vazios de Battle Royale, esse tipo de jogo de campanha single player é o que nos faz reaver o animo esgotado.
    Gráficos extraordinários para o console é claro, mas nota-se que realmente se esforçaram para quebrar a barreira de limitação e espremeram o potencial máximo do console.
    Áudio exuberante, detalhistas e realistas principalmente em bancadas para montagens de armas, passos, gritos e choros, chuva, rios, fogo, é tudo muito intenso, principalmente quando há certa concentração no jogo.
    A história nos faz refletir até onde você iria por uma vingança, você se arrependeria ? Iria até as ultimas consequências por alguém que você ama ?

    Just finished it. I’m literally in awe. Devastated. This is one of the most amazing experiences (and yes, it’s an experience cause calling it a videogame is too reductive) I’ve ever had the privilege to live. Please do yourself a favour and play it. Not only do they provide us with realism, they also don’t fail to take me on a rollercoaster of emotions. While adding the aspect of perspective it gives us a sense of what we need to see. Humanity isn’t just about hero and villain and they defy those expectations. There is never a real hero or villain in the world, there is only humans doing what they feel is right and doing what they need to do to survive. I’ve never experienced something like this before in a game because no one is brave enough to defy the boundaries of the art of gaming. I congratulate everyone who worked on this game and who gave everything to give us this amazing experience. I hope other developers can learn from this company and the people who wrote the game to start expressing much more inclusive and realistic experiences in their stories to give a players a feel of what a real game and experience looks like because most games these days, they tells stories of humanity and the paths they go on considering certain situation and it’s up to them to express how people would actually turn out after certain sever ya happen to the world. The story was very forced in some parts, I was disappointing, but in a very bad situation, Tommy and Joel trusted a person without even asking what she was doing there and arguing about, once Joel was or suspected, that doesn't change in a callous person like him, and Tommy in good faith, just like the beginning of one when Joel didn't want to stop giving a ride to a family when the outbreak broke out.     Lo positivo: TLOF2 mejoro notablemente el sistemas de juego de su antecesor , mejores y mas detalladas ambientaciones , mejores armas , maneras de jugar , nuevos puzzles , mecánicas , el lo nivel gráfico esta bien, pero no es lo mejor de esta generación, pero si me sorprende el nivel de detalles.

You think you are about to move on from missions but No you are not even half way through i felt utter boredom doing these and had to really force myself to continue. Normally with so much time invested in any game 6hrs plus i enjoy the story and characters i am with but this is soul destroying i feel like just switching off and watching paint dry TBH it is so depressing fams have anticipated this game for years since the last game and have been rewarded with this dross very disappointing from ND.… Expand

    My name is Elik, I'm from Russia. The last of us 2 is that game from not many games which takes for the soul! I have never experienced such a range of emotions.     It is just a big disappointment. Graphics and game play is better than the 1st one, but it is overall a boring experience. The story is the main problem. It just felt very forced and full of plot holes.

    It doesn't feel like last of us, I don't like the story at ail. Ellie is too brave in my opinion which is not real at all. People have too little to no background information. Graphic and music are nice but nothing else. Should be better than this.

The game / developer studios go with this game unprecedented terra in terms of storytelling and I have never suffered so emotionally after playing through a game and would stimulate thinking as much as here! The last of us is not a happy end universe and you have to face the truth that Joal in the first part with Ellie made huge **** in the end. The story is told grandly here on several levels and from the half with the twist, just wow and brave. But this makes the entire TloU universe so incredibly imersive and believable. The homosexuality of Ellie is already shown in the first part, so if you find that bad, you have to say that you don't like the first part. Most of the bad reviews were created on the day of release and are zero representative for me that the game has a minimum length of over 30 hours of play on the first run. Most people who rated it bad didn't even play the game themselves or stopped after the first few hours, so you can't argue with people on one level because the level of knowledge is not on the same level, so a discussion with such people is perfect senseless, they only let bad YouTube haters pull them along. Much in the world is explained in more detail through dialogues or letters and closes the often criticized "gaps in logic". Since not so intolerant as to sexuality and origin, it doesn't matter what the character likes or where he comes from. This only shows how limited there are still a lot of people in your head, grow up, because the game is only for adults! The game has a very good graphic and sound component. As for the plot, I think that the actions of all the characters are well explained and understandable, but as I said, the game came out very dark. If in the first part Ellie was the light at the end and we were sure that despite the ambiguous act of Joel, Ellie would live. Here at the end there remains only a sense of relax from the end of the game. Ellie in the first part was very smart and funny, and the harmony between her and Joel was the main asset of the game. And here she is only obsessed with revenge and there is no particular connection between partners. I think the storyline with Abby was too long and it was worth more to reveal the story of those two Scars.… Expand

    It's finally here! I've waited so many years for the sequel and I can say the wait was definitely worth it. TLOU2 improves on nearly all aspects of the previous game, which was already stellar. Strongest points are the incredible atmosphere, the gorgeous graphics, and the solid gameplay mechanics. The writing is good, the characters are interesting, and the entire game is an emotionalIt's finally here! I've waited so many years for the sequel and I can say the wait was definitely worth it. In this game Joel is just a background to the "story" although the trailers showing another thing. This is another **** that ND did, they lied all over the trailers, changing characters, its a really false advertising. The only good side of the game is the gameplay and graphic are absolutely stunnig, the best from this generation so far.     Un buen juego, obviamente no superó su entrega pasada pero aún así sigue siendo un juego que vale la pena, aunque en algunos momentos alargaron la historia sin necesidad nos entregaron una buena trama entre Ellie y Abby, el sistema de apuntado es algo incómodo al igual que algunas mecánicas pero el gameplay en general es genial.

    It's a good game, the graphic section is impressive, I understand that people are angry with the narrative, I personally liked it. I just think it's too long, too many fight zones, otherwise I enjoyed it a lot.

The cycle of revenge between either side was pointless and what I mean by repetitive. Spoiler Abby killed Joel. Then Ellie wants revenge. She killed all the group of the Salt lake squad. Abby finds out and went to confront Ellie. She killed Jesse and let Ellie go. Few months/Years, Ellie wants revenge again and asked Abby to fight her. After all, this happened, She let her go. So repetitive! Ellie killed a pregnant woman and all Abby's friend and she didn't kill Ellie? Because the scar child gave her a look? But she brutally killed Joel. We all know Joel was not a good guy. He was a smuggler and a murderer before he met Ellie. He didn't even want Ellie. However, there should be justice like Arthur Morgan in RD2. He is still a character we loved. I don't mind if he died really. All decision has consequences. Also, the fact that you are playing the person that killed one of the major characters that you love in the first game and tries you to feel bad for this person that you really don't care. I was on Ellie's side all the way. I get why she has to kill Joel but I really don't care about her which ruin half of the game. If Abby's story was a DLC then I probably wouldn't mind. I also like to point out that Ellie's storyline in Seattle was more of a generic video game story. Like you have to find and kill the other people of the group before you fight the main boss. That's a Basic storyline. What happened to the emotional storytelling for example when Joel fell from the balcony and got stab by a pipe or something. He nearly died. He was sick for a month and Ellie was captured by a paedophile and was about to get abuse. Joel has to save her but she's the one who killed the man. That was an emotional scene and a perfect example of great storytelling.

    Having this stated the games mechanics are great, an enhanced version of the 1st games mechanics, simply stunning.

The waaay in your face social justice bonanza with most named characters being either ethnic minorities or gay (the numerous letters you find in the game included)? Absolutely, very on the nose. Neil Druckmann wants to signal his virtue, and he wants to signal it *hard*, and yes, it detracts from the quality of the game which certainly does not need all this to call attention to itself. The soap opera bits aren't to many people's liking either, and I get where they're coming from. And most prominently, people seem to hate one of their favorite video game characters dying quite unceremoniously – not at the end of the game, but in its prologue.

    I hated to see him go, too. We were supposed to, obviously. But we were also supposed to get past that and realize why things happened the way they happened, and that this wouldn't have worked with, say, Tommy or some other character we weren't as invested in. This isn't like offing John Connor within the first two minutes of Terminator - Dark Fate, thereby negating all that's been achieved in T2. This is more like offing the main character Ned Stark of Game of Thrones in the first season – because he *needs* to die for the story to be told.

    TLOU2's story is very, very much in the same vein as the first game. Customers celebrated the daring move of killing off Sarah at the end of TLOU's prologue, the abruptness, the brutality, the senselessness. We were supposed to get our empathy working and believing that Sarah was most precious to Joel, since she just had a few minutes to grow on us. This time someone dies horribly, just like Sarah did before, but he's precious to *us*. We've spent countless hours with him, of course we don't wanna see him get beaten to death. But even in the first game he wasn't the pivotal character, even though for the majority of it we were supposed to think he was.

    Joel's death sends Ellie down a dark path peppered with experiences she'll never recover from. The way the game shows her descent into self-medicating her PTSD by become more and more of a monster and less and less of a person is masterfully done. Everytime when she reaches a pivotal point and has the opprtunity to stop and reflect and make a good decision, she decides to put up the blinders and continue on her path which thereby gets harder and harder to leave. The more she learns, the more she has to ignore those informations and concentrate on embracing her hate until it consumes almost all of her. What that does to that spunky little girl we got to know seven years ago is daring and expertly written, directed and acted out. We feel just a bit like her: We too want vengeance, but where most of us would eventually stop, she presses on and thereby forces us players to press on. At the end, we play a shadow of the person Ellie used to be. Gradually we lose our connection to the main protagonist, until we do *not* want what she wants anymore, and yet we have to enable her to achieve goals that aren't ours anymore, just by playing her.

    When the point of view changed and I found myself playing Abby not just in a flashback, when I realized that I would obviously have to play her for as long as I had played Ellie before, I was furious. Sure, I didn't thirst for her blood as much as in the beginning, but I didn't want to start the game over and play her. But within an hour or two I found myself identifying with her as much as I had with Ellie – and further down the road so much more. The way the game achieves this is manipulative, yes, but every game that wants to elicit an emotional response from the player has to manipulate them, and this game knows how to pull out all the stops. Maybe identifying with Ellie and her motivation we're all very familiar with – avenging a loved one is the plot of countless movies and games, after all – made many players see the code instead of the Matrix, maybe that's what made them notice all the tricks the game used to make the player identify with Abby, and feeling manipulated, they took on a repudiating stance towards her? But if you keep an open mind and accept that the game presents you with an "antagonist" who's morally much more wholesome and human than the protagonist you enjoyed playing before, you get Ellie's "what if" mirror image. Abby makes Ellie's downward spiral so much more heartbreaking because what Ellie keeps throwing away, bit by bit, until there's almost nothing left, is what Abby has kept: the last of us. First off, this game has to be the best looking game I have EVER played, along with having top tier animations and voice acting. No one can take away how visually appealing this game looks and how good it plays. Besides all these great things, there are many issues with this game that mostly come from the story and minor things that come from the gameplay. The gameplay was very fun as expected, but needed a little bit more variety due to the length of the game just to mix things up a little. So let's talk about the story... I can admit ND tried to create an interesting/compelling story which conveyed an important message, but in doing so they sadly fell on their face. Through trying to tell this story, you end up spending a lot of time with characters who you do not care about at all. I bought this game because I cared about Ellie and Joel and their relationship, not to play as new a character who I barely have a connection with. The harsh truth is we don't care about Abby and her backstory enough to play almost 12 hours with. The way I see it is, any story where you play the whole thing as either Ellie or Joel would have a much more enjoyable game to play.… Expand

I think it does have some flaws in story telling but they do just the same amount of things right as they do wrong. And I don’t think those bad things should ruin the entire game for me, and they didn’t. Fun and immersive gameplay. Stunning environments and graphics.

    The Last of Us Part II is a beautifully heartbreaking journey about two sides of the same coin. Ellie, the first main protagonist, seeks revenge on the second main protagonist, Abby, who had already gotten her revenge and is looking for her own purpose afterwards.

Ellie, the first main protagonist, seeks revenge on the second main protagonist, Abby, who had already gotten her revenge and is looking for her own purpose afterwards.

    Many people have dubbed this game as "poor writing", "pandering to an audience", and other negative remarks towards the story, but that really couldn't be further from the truth. The story challenges the viewer's perspective on good and evil, and has the player witness the chaos that follows an evil act unfold.

    Gameplay is significantly improved upon the first entry in the series by adding dodging, jumping, MUCH smarter AI, firefights that include both infected and humans, stealth gameplay that rivals Metal Gear, and much more. Beautiful sprawling environments don't feel nearly as linear as they have in previous ND titles, and every detail, from the lighting coming through a broken window, to the wind blowing through foliage on a grassy path, feel as close to lifelike as they ever have been.

    The gameplay feels clunky and it get boring pretty fast, the story is poorly written and for some reason they decided go full sjw propaganda with it, this is one of the worst game ever made.

    The game is great!!! I loved how they improved on the game mechanics of the first game. And the graphics are beautiful!!! It really makes you feel like you are truly there!!! The story is good, I would have change how some parts of the story were presented and I had some issues with the chronology but overall is a great game!!!

    Great game, I got the wow effect, just wow. It's been a pleasure playing it for 30 hours... Everybody would have played it!

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
