    After undestanding the real meaning of the game you begin to realise that this game is actually a masterpiece. Still think there was no need to play so much time with Abby, but the conclusion is really great.

    This is a game that MUST be played to the very end to fully understand and fairly judge. If I were to have rated this game after 4 hours or 14 hours of gameplay, I’d give it a much lower score due to preconceived notions and dissatisfaction with the story. However, after completing the game, it gets a 9 out of 10 and it is well earned. In many ways, it is a masterpiece, but with minor flaws.

    Builds on what the first game created and gives you so many different ways to tackle most situations. It’s a significant improvement from the first game. GRAPHICS
    Scenarios look beautiful, especially at sunset. Character models and animations are also really well made. One of the best looking games in my opinion. SOUND

    Я не согласен со всем этим негативом в сторону игры, она явно не заслужила этого. Игра безусловно шедевр в техническом плане. Это самая красивая игра, которую я видел за всю историю видеоигр. Геймплей стал намного разнообразнее и динамичнее по сравнению с первой частью. Сюжет обычный. Я полагаю игроки, которые сейчас ненавидят эту игру, просто начитались спойлеров слитых и разочаровались,Я не согласен со всем этим негативом в сторону игры, она явно не заслужила этого. Сюжет... после титров первая реакция - как то оборвали и недосказали. Ещё пол дня в голове крутилось окончание игры. И знаете что, ребята, если после игры вы думаете о ее сюжете и о посыле автора - значит игра заслуживает похвалы!Только сегодня я прошёл эту игру.     I like this game. The graphics weren't really good, but the story is an amazing **** I play it for the second time to be able to judge everything from a different perspective and it is so difficult to play the game again. You have to kill nice people who ran into each other during the first game and it hurts .....

    I have a some of issues with the ending of the game's story, and I feel that naughty dog is annoying a lot of Elli's character throughout the story. But overall, enjoy the story .
    note : Revenge has terrible consequences, NAUGHTY DOG LESSON.

    Cheers from Russia. This game is amazing. Graphics, gameplay is awesome (especially at max/survival difficulties). I love the atmosphere and new locations as well. Yes, as a TLOU fan i was shocked and frustrated with SOME SCENARIO MOVES, but, at the end, i got it. Yes. This is game is almost a masterpiece, i would give it 9/10. Minus point for some agenda and some story desicions.

    This review will probably get lost in the other thousands here, but if any actual player is reading it: the game is great, not perfect, but great overall... I have 3 days with sleep breaks and back in the game with so many emotions that I really don’t get it why so many are upset.

    Movement and camera could have been a bit better and more fluid but it is what it is.
    Graphics are perfect on a HDR display, can’t advise on others.

    So for you who is reading this and didn’t play the game, as a player the game is beautiful, for those who are seeking frustration and negative feedback just to trash the game...I have nothing..    … Expand

    Its something new to the genre. If this game was the last of us 1 this would be epic. Hope in the future SJW and LGTBQ will not be in the videogames.

    Even after beating this game, it still left me thinking about it for weeks. Most agree that the first installment didn't "need" a sequel, but there were still some loose ends that left it as a possibility, and this game covers them in a satisfying way.

    The gameplay and visuals were absolutely phenomenal. It improves upon what made the first game great, and deserves its place as a next-generation continuation of a PlayStation classic. New features such as the ability to prone, tall grass that obscures enemy sight, and the dodge mechanic offers players more options to either cunningly stealth their way through well thought out maps or simply engage aggressively - there are several ways to approach every scenario but the game doesn't pigeon-hole you into one playstyle.
    Story-wise, this game has divided its playerbase in ways I've never witnessed in all my years playing video games. However, you shouldn't take this as a bad thing necessarily. This narrative does require you to come into it with an open mind. If you have rigid expectations coming this and aren't open to immersing yourself in the story that the writers were going for, you're doomed to hate it. Go into it understanding that the writers love these characters as much as the fans do, but fully respect the nature of the universe in which they exist - a lawless world where right and wrong are not determined by any singular mind or governing body. A world where you must seek your own form of justice when you are wronged.
    Personally, I absolutely loved the artistry and effort that was behind crafting this narrative. The writers have had many successes in their previous projects and they easily could've played it safe and followed a similar formula that guaranteed them another homerun, but they opted for a route that was riskier and explored darker aspects of human nature that other creators are either too afraid to explore, or missed the mark in their attempt. For that, I am thankful that this game exists.
    For as much praise as I am willing to give it, it does have drawbacks. There is a point in the game where it builds momentum and leads to what feels like a climax, then abruptly takes a sharp left turn and the pace grinds to a halt and the buildup back to a climax restarts. I don't think this particular narrative would've worked as well as it did if this didn't happen, but it did leave a sour taste in my mouth at the time.    … Expand

    I've waited to write a review until i had finished the game, and I have to say that it is a great game! It got compelling characters, a fair story and the graphics are breathtaking. A excellent sequel to the first one.

    One of the best games I have ever played. Unlike a lot of others, I actually think the plot was a very good continuation of The Last of Us 1. The mechanics, graphics, dialogs and obviously the STORY was amazing. I would give it 10/10 if not for length of the game; could be a little more condensed in my opinion, but for many it is probably a benefit.

    Whether you like the story or not its a MATTER OF PERSONAL TASTE.
    The studio's vision definitely didn't match what I expected for a sequel, but it doesn't make it a bad thing at all, everyone is entitled to an opinion, and they could only make one story, from their own minds.
    The one thing I didn't like much is that they tried too much to pull some things and cause game to be boring at times.

There’s nothing wrong with a good revenge story where the main characters ambition is retribution such as God of War.     The anticipation waiting for the Last of Us 2 was well worth the wait. All the teasers and trailers that we have seen over the past 5-6 years set expectations high. Even though the trailers and teasers were a misdirect in regards to the direction of the story, the level great story telling, improved gameplay mechanics, graphics, and Ellie’s journey did not disappoint.     The gameplay is solid. The developers expanded on the gameplay, removed certain aspects that made the pace slower and not as fun like crafting shyvs to kill clickers. The shyv no longer needs to be crafted as we have one that never breaks. The stealth is better with more open areas to stealth through. The music is just as good as the first game.     The story is where everyone fails to see how good this game is. Everything in this games story focuses on the central theme of forgiveness. The game is heavy handed in showing how revenge destroys you as a person. It builds off the last games trope of characters making selfish decisions due to events that happened affecting each character personally. Joel dooms humankind to save a girl that reminds him of his daughter that was killed. His decision in this matter is completely selfish. In the sequel we see a new character abby make a selfish decision based off the act of another joel killing her brother. Much like joel's decision to kill all the fireflies in the first game. This decision affects ellie and causes her to make her own selfish decision that hurts others around her. Through out the game we see ellie grapple with the fact joel made a decision she did not agree with. Ultimately the story is about ellie forgiving joel. But really its about forgiving abby for her sins as well. Its a heartwarming tale about how even if the jury and the judge tells you, you have a right to hold a grudge, you can still forgive.

    I think this game is meant to make you think and feel, and those thoughts and feelings will not be happy thoughts and feelings. This game will not make you laugh and cry. Por lo cual intentar hacer una critica a esta segunda parte me es de una gran dificultad. Por lo cual intentar hacer una critica a esta segunda parte me es de una gran dificultad. Debido a esta ola incoherente de malas criticas y de un abusos excesivos. Me dispongo unos cuantos días después de haber finalizado el juego a hacer mi respectiva y única critica a The Last Of Us Part II. Creo que Naughty Dog se ha arriesgado en este juego y es verdad que han intentado abordar temas complejos y poco explorados en los videojuegos. Pero he de decir que la resolución de estos añadidos arriesgados han sido de gran admiración. Sin ser pesados y siendo coherente los temas sociales e incluso políticos que están presentes en el juego son muy sutiles y en ningún momento abusivos. Se agradece y es de admirar que este tipo de creados se arriesguen con estos temas porque realmente estos temas tendrían que ser mas explorados y detallados en la industria.
    Creo que respecto a la historia se nota una gran mejoría con respecto a la calidad de esta como en la forma de contarla. Dejando huella en mucha ocasiones con escenas que se recordaran por siempre. Las mecánicas sin ser muy renovadoras y siendo muchas de ellas heredadas del primer juego. Están mucho mas pulidas y mejoradas también dando lugar a mecánicas nuevas que impactan y sorprenden. Con respecto a la jugabilidad mejora muy potencialmente con respecto a la primera parte y hace el juegos mas divertido y fluido. Tengo que decir que en esta segunda parte el apartado musical se queda un poco atrás con respecto a la primera parte. Esto no quiere decir que la música sea peor sino que el apartado musical destaca menos con respecto al papel protagonista que tenia la música en su anterior entrega. Pero este tipo de carencia lo compensa con unos increíbles y obsesivos detalles técnicos y artísticos tanto en el entorno del propio juego como en sus personajes. Alejándose en muchos momentos de ser algo ficticio a algo que roza la propia realidad señalando a su vez el gran trabajo tanto actoral como artístico Pero aun así creo que en este juego la jugabilidad no es la parte mas importante. The Last Of Us destaca por sus increíbles personajes, entornos e historia y en esta segunda parte se nota como en Naughty Dog trabajan verdaderos profesionales que saben crear y contar historias de una manera única. En definitiva no me quiero enrollar mucho con esta critica porque creo sinceramente que The Last Of Us Part II es en si una obra maestra y claramente esta segunda parte superan en todos los aspectos a la primera parte. Solo que para mi la primer parte tiene un significado añadido que hace que me decante por ella. Pero por favor dejar de atacar y criticar a un juego por una intención o porque moralmente no os agrade lo que veáis en pantalla. Recordar que los videojuegos los jugamos nosotros, pero nosotros no decidimos como se hacen.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. While I entirely understand a great deal of the criticism towards this game, I just don't agree with a lot of it.
    I mean it's obvious the whole "Woke game" criticism holds no ground, but some of the others are more reasonable. I see a lot of people complaining about being forced to play as Abby, which I understand and wasn't exactly too happy myself to be playing her but by the end of the story I understood why I was playing her and it made the end sequence very interesting as it's not something I've seen in a video game before. When you fight Ellie, it's interesting because obviously you don't want to "win" in a way that would leave Ellie dead.

    I will say there's a lot of this story where I wish this game allowed you to make some choices in the story. There are some points where you just want Ellie to stop. Granted I think the fact that the game so relentlessly forces you to go through with it makes your feeling against some of the stuff you have to do stronger.

    At some point in this game I feel like everybody(Even those who didn't like the game) just wanted the cycle of revenge to stop.
    There's a point in this game where you hate Abby. For some people that point never stops and persists to this day but for people who are more open to seeing her side you realise her journey of killing Joel was the same as Ellie's Journey to kill Abby.

    Joel killed Abby's father, Abby goes through a great deal and damages her relationships just to be able to kill Joel.

    Abby kills Ellie's dad(Maybe not biologically, but in every other sense), Ellie goes through a great deal and damages her relationships just to be able to kill Abby.

    I understand having been too invested in Joel and Ellie to care about what Abby went through.
    But if you look at it clear from bias it is literally the exact same thing Ellie is doing(Which by the end you likely want her to stop doing), so you should understand why Abby did what she did.

    Granted if you can't "forgive" her(I hate to phrase it like that because forgiving her isn't exactly the right phrase), I don't blame you, but if you've payed attention at all you should at least understand.

    Either way I think this honestly was an interesting experiment in some ways, seeing how people would react to and if they're able to empathise with someone who murdered a character they loved.    … Expand

Геймплей на 910, графика на 11, от сюжета порой глаза на мокром месте и не так много найдется фильмов которые были бы так же хорошо сыграны. В общем, если первая часть была лучшим что можно было выжать из PS3, то вторая повторила тоже для PS4. А всем ненавистникам советую сначала поиграть в игру а потом ставить оценки, ониНаверное лучшая игра из тех в которые я играл за последние годы.     I don't usually write reviews but this game doesn't deserve the amount of hate that it's getting. It's not a perfect game but also it's not the worst as the bad reviews are telling you. I finished it and I can say that in it's entirety it's a journey worth experiencing.

Si bien es cierto creo que empatice más con la historia del primer juego, puedo decir que este es muy superior en todos los sentidos quizás exceptuando la historia al primero, la jugabilidad, los gráficos, el apartado técnico es impresionante y parece un juego de ps5, te mantiene en tensión constante y logra superar cualquier videojuego del género que haya visto en playstation, yo en lo personal hubiera recortado la mitad de la participación de abby, un personaje con el que nadie puede empatizar y que está completamente roto, parece un terminator y creo que es lo único que no termina de encajar en el videojuego la nota la pongo como un promedio entre apartado técnico, jugabilidad e historia siendo la última el punto más bajo creo por tratar de alargar el videojuego más de la cuenta.

Personally I didn’t hate the story, it is not as impressive as the first one tho, I think the way to play as two characters that fight against each other in the end is innovative, by so I can see both sides and all the consequences. The theme of the sequel is obviously “vengeance is useless” to my understanding and what the two characters did in the ending just serves the theme properly, so there’s actually not too much to complain. The only thing I can’t take and not happy with is Joel’s death, not that Joel can’t die, just in the situation where Joel saved Abby, but what Abby gave him is torturing, humiliation and death, that’s just too brutal for everyone even those first timer, not to mention those fans of the first game like me.… Expand

    I have genuinely enjoyed this game! I stayed away from the leaks online when they happened so I could experience the story from the game. I haven't beaten it yet, but each time I start playing I can't put the controller down. Beautiful visuals, amazing game mechanics, heart-wrenching story, and fighting sequences that are incredibly intense! I highly recommend. I think most of the userI have genuinely enjoyed this game!     Gameplay- As expected ND blew it out of the park with the new enemy AI to thr way weapons pack the punch. Like for example shooting the pistol feels like pistol and shooting the revolver feels like a revolver with that heavy kick back and the harder shot. Just like that the arrows feel like they pierced the enemy. And traversing the world was pretty cool too. Felt really natural and the combat encounters were pretty tense and satisfying ( don’t know if it’ll be as satisfying if you’re just throwing bricks and stabbing from behind). which brings me to the ANIMATIONS! Boy oh boy this game has the best animations I’ve ever seen in a game. The only game that comes close is rdr2 but this set a bar for how animations should be. 10/10 gameplay Graphics- what can i say? It’s Naughty Dog so as expected they nailed it. The visuals look pretty af. I found myself walking instead of jogging/running because i wanted to look around and enjoy the views. Even walking through a dark corridor with the flashlight on is beautiful. And not to mention the facial expression while in game. Usually in games all the expressions and animations are only on cutscenes but in this even while playing the game we can see ellie’s face reacting according to the situation. 10/10 Visuals Soundtrack- Amazing. It really got the mood of the moments spot on. Even in gameplay going through a infected filled space feels tense and makes me lower the volume so if something jumps I’ll not get scared lol. Overall soundtrack was awesome. 10/10

Killing joel off like that was wrong. We all know how joel knew about the ambush in TLOU1 and how he don’t trust people easily. But on part 2 he probably got soft which is dumb considering the world they live in. So that’s a big L right their. Then after around 15hrs in we play as Abby- the women who killed joel. How in the **** would i want to play as Her when she molested joel like that? I mean if didn’t know joel then it’d be fine cause I wouldn’t care but i k ow joel enough so at that point i didn’t wanna explore much. I tried to cruise through as fast as possible although not gonna lie there were some pretty tense combat encounters which as i explained above was amazing. It’s just how they made me play abby after seeing her do that. I didn’t even wanna play as her. And at the end after going through all that the only person that lost more is ellie . Even her ****ing fingers! Are you kidding me??? And abby walks away lmao and the characters. Ellie,Joel,Tommy, the only people i cared about. Even after the credits rolled i gave 0 ****s about others. I just can’t believe they would **** up the story after the excellent story of uncharted 4. Overall there were some cool story moments but overall story was a L for me. Story 5/10

    Neil Druckmann took a hell of a risk at the beginning of the game, and the rest of it is the damage control to that thing in the beginning. I personally think that risk was worth it. Neil didn't give you the cliche happy ever after scenario, he shows you the consequences of an action, and what's lead to affect lives of the others. We got the new story of revenge, redemption and forgiveness in one game, and it was beautiful. The game cuts ou deep with the gritty story element, plays with your feeling, and leave you with silent sorrow at the end.
    I must say that is some work that they have done, overall game looks amazing, the story is actually fresh, dramatic and merciless. Naughty dog you done well, i hope people can appreciate what you did with the time. But for now i think that all this negative reviews are totally unfair. You cant say the whole game is bad just of the 2 hours of the story, you need to play and pay attention to what is happening there.
    And to those who's feeling got hurt by the story, i say good for you, it is what is supposed to do. Sometimes is good when your feeling got hurt, it the only way that you can learn something of yourself and look at thing with different perspective, and in that you can discover something new.

    I do understand why people dont like the Story, but my god...this was the most emotional Story i have ever experienced. The music is so good, the gameplay is so much fun and the enemies are so realistic that even if you dislike the story, the game in itself will blow you away!

    After spending ~36 hours completing the game, I'd say that it's a great game, even though the story and pacing can be a bit slow at times. Other than that there's only a few key aspects of the story that I didn't really like, otherwise nothing to really complain about

    This game is not perfect, and it doesn’t have a perfect story. But in my opinion, it is a really good one. There is little character development, which kinda sucks; but I understand it seeing as Ellie knows everyone in Jackson, and has for years now, so I get it. Now on to Joel. We’ve all probably seen it, and it **** hurts when it happens. But it is not for no reason like everyone who hates the game says. They say that joel is too trusting and such, but you have to consider that Joel was barely getting by for 20 years, having to watch his back at every turn. He doesn’t now though. Because nobody in jackson has tried anything. And Ellie is so much like Sarah, that a wave of grief could’ve been swept off of him, as we see in the flashbacks that happen. His death is not meaningless, Abby is the daughter of one of the surgeons Joel killed, so she wants revenge. The way he dies is brutal, but Abby wanted Joel to hurt, so he did. All in all, it is a great game, and if you enjoyed the brutal and gritty nature of the first, you should love this one too.    … Expand

Дракман вытащил игрока из зоны комфорта, в которой он привык находиться, где есть справедливость и честность, он ясно дал понять-нет, приятель, у меня здесь взрослая игра и я не собираюсь с тобой цацкаться. Здесь герои - это бывшие злодеи, а злодеи - бывшие герои. Здесь все также люди продолжают воевать друг с другом, несмотря на угрозу заражения, но показано все это на этот раз в более обширных масштабах. С технической точки зрения-это фантастика. Игра в этом плане удивляет на протяжении всего прохождения. Художникам отдельное спасибо, работа проделана адская, в хорошем смысле. У игры есть проблемы в виде очень красивых, но пустых локаций, продвижение кое чего на букву Ф и Л, нескольких странных моментов в сюжете (субъективно), но в целом - это сильный проект, который никак нельзя пропускать. Люди, осудившие в ноль игру-угомонитесь и идите играйте в call of duty, pubg, gears of war и максимум witcher 3. Это ваш уровень, не выше. Без обид и предъяв. Кое что у вас не выросло ещё до таких проектов, как last of us 2.
    9 заслуженных баллов. Пройдя сотню качественных игр, ни одна не вызвала такой сумбур эмоций, как эта. Минус балл за указанные недостатки. По настоящему, повторюсь, взрослая и тяжёлая игра, которую будут обсуждать ещё долгое время.    … Expand

It takes time to digest everything that happened, no it doesn't leave you with a good feeling at the end but it isnt supposed to. It is supposed to make you contemplate what just happened and in the end it is about the cycle of violence and how violence begets violence. In this world there are no heroes and no villains, just people trying to survive and it gives you that perspective because in the end everyone thinks they are doing right unless they are just evil but all the characters in this game are just people none of which are evil and they all believe that they are in the right. So I beg you to just play the game and once finished let it sit with you before making your final conclusion on it, because in my opinion this game is phenomenal. The gameplay is awesome, the animations, the stealth, omg the enemies. When you are playing stealth and the WLF flank you and look for the people you killed it is intense. Anyway in my opinion most of these 0 ratings are people that didn't play the game or cant get past the fact that they killed Joel. "Joel is a **** person"(quote from Tess). And got himself in a heap of trouble when he murdered an entire militia group. PLAY THE GAME IT IS WORTH IT. You will feel so many things throughout, it is really remarkable how they manipulate you and the story to make you feel such intense feelings.… Expand

I think that even if you think the story is less effective this game at least deserves a 6-7 AT LEAST with the gameplay, visuals and worldbuilding. All the 0's are a clear overreaction and emotional irrational attempt to make the gamedevs feel bad about doing what they did to the player's beloved characters. I recommend buying the game and at least try to find the qualities I have found by accepting the premise they put before me and staying off the bandwagon we so easily end up on these days :)… Expand

    Its a damn near flawless game, from voice acting, graphics, action, gameplay overall visual and sound production. the only major thing holding it back from being a 10 is the story line. its just okay and sometimes its not all that compelling other than a few shocking moments.

    La música es perfecta atrapa todo lo devastador, triste y cruel que es el mundo en el que se ambienta, el gameplay es demasiado bueno, si bien no revolucióna mejora en todo respecto al uno, la historia a mi punto de vista y muy buena te muestra todo el dolor y angustia que acarrean tus propios actos, solo tiene un defecto y es que no funciona como secuela del primero

    Story - 7/10
    The story is OK. Definitely not as good as the first game. The story was actually going pretty good up until the Abby portion. I know what the writers were trying to convey, but by us playing as Abby for what seemed like forever, it seemed to diminish the anger we had from Joel's death. And it wasn't because I started to see things from Abby's side. It was because we were focusing so much on her that I started to forget about Joel. Abby's story was kind of boring.

    I was hoping for a happy ending, but I understand why they didn't go that route and it doesn't affect my score. My score was affected by 2 things. The OK-ish story and the fact that they pulled an MGS2 on us.

    Now comes the easy part.
    Graphics - 10/10

Some aspects of the game seem forced, especially near the end (when we play as Abby/Ellie in Cali). However, that doesn't take away from the experience. It's a masterpiece.     With overwhelmingly incredible animations, acting, level design, music and attention to detail, The Last of Us Part II has cemented itself as one of the most incredible experiences I’ve had in video games. While the story has proved divisive, I found its departure from my expectations to be a positive and not a negative.

    First of all: awesome grafics and overall well done game
    I liked the story and the fact that Naughty Dog was brave enough to bring so strong feelings in both (positive and negative) directions into this game, I guess this is the point much people dislike, but for me this is the part that makes the game stand out

I think, according to my personal experience, that the game it is not quite shocking as the first one, but it still at a high level of narrative, graphics, playability, mechanics and other features. The plot is a perfect way to "end" the game and the fact that you can play with both, Ellie and Abby makes you wonder if you were truly being a hero or just a mercenary... I'm gonna tell you one thing....the game is awesome...forget the haters....just experience the game from beginning to end...every main character has good intentions....nobody is evil...the set pieces and the graphics is next level...best naughty dog game in my opinion...and better than part 1....it is a huge game...a lot bigger than part 1...i understand the hate game is getting but the game is about a **** world...just play the game...most of you are hating because of joel death in the game...but it is justified properly in my opinion...with the character development of new people...the only problem in my opinion is AI is bit slugglish...cause because of the underpowered cpu of ps4....crafting and weapon upgrading are vastly improved...and the graphics ohh my goddd!!!!!!!!!nobody can reach naughty dog animations in gaming...it has everything for everyone like ign said....please dont go into prejudice and hate this game...it is a really damn good game...i know it is not a popular opinion but story is on par with the first part and issue i had with the story is non linear screenplay...it made me confuse while playing continuously which timeline I'm in....i give story 9.5 out of 10 and gameplay 9.5 out of 10....it is really worth your 60$… Expand

    + Режиссура.
    Тут дело не в ВАУ моментах, в игре их мало. А постановке кадра, музыки, звукового дизайна, монтажа и общей кинематографичности геймплея и кат-сцен.
    + Сюжет.
    Для меня, он слабее 1-ой части. Но структурно сюжет стал сложнее и неоднозначнее. Он хороший, поставлен прекрасно. Насчёт SJW-повестки. Она проскальзывала в первый 10 минутах игры. 2 минутная кат-сцена. Он лишняя, мне она не понравилась. 2 минуты из 24 часовой игры.
    + Музыка
    Её можно отнести к режиссуре, но музыка в игре играет всегда в тему, она подчёркивает настроение игры в нужные моменты.
    Минусы:
    - Даунгрейд анимации
    Помню я был в шоке от первого показа геймплея. Графика, вроде на том же уровне. Но разница в анимации между тем роликом и релизом видна не вооруженным взглядом.

    Вот смотрю я на инфополе вокруг обычных игроков и поражаюсь глупости, ненависти и дезинформации. Это троллинг, постирония или искренняя ненависть? Мне всё равно. Когда Даниэля Вавру с его Kingdome Come обвиняли в расизме радикальные бойцы за соц. справедливость, я был на его стороне, когда Days Gone ругали за наличие «типичного белого персонажа», я был на стороне разработчиков, когда Ubisoft и EA пихают SJW – мусор только ради пиара. Где представители меньшинств были просто так. Они были болванками без какой-либо проработки. Но тут мы получили дорогую, качественную, ЛИНЕЙНУЮ AAA –игру, которая не боится расссказать серьёзную, жесткую и интересно структурированную историю. Её закидывают гнилыми помидорами незаслуженно. В игре нет микротранзацкий, багов, гринда. Люди, вы в своём уме? Вы сейчас ни чем не лучше SJW – скама. Если для вас так важна ориентация, то не слушайте музыку Элтона Джона и не смотрите фильмы с участием

    My emotions were all over the place every step of the way. I have spent the last 24 hours running the ending over and over in my head and I have to say, even though a lot of people didn't like it, it taught me something I wasn't expecting. Oh and the graphics are incredible.

I think as a whole, the story works out to be very grippy, reasonably compelling and as mentioned above, rather smart in its execution when taken as a sum of its parts. It does not match the brilliance of the first game, but then again that's something it never could, and should be approached as such, with a fair chance.

    The gameplay has been improved upon and overall feels really chunky, with great heft and great and conveys the gruesome nature extremely well. It starts to get a little bit tiring eventually, but leaves a lot of room to approach encounters differently, so that might have been down to my choice of doing things. The game does start to feel a little winded by its climax as the formula never really changes that much. Ultimately, it does feel very satisfying to play.

    This is greatly reinforce by the best in class animation, graphics and sound design which honestly make for what I think is the most technically accomplished game of this console generation. Face expressions are now convincingly animated in game, be it in combat or conversations, and they look great. Seattle itself also serves up one shade of beautiful scenery after another and the presentation is impeccable. This is all backed up by excellent sound design which offers lots of customization and an option to enable maximum dynamic range in the sounds (meaning loud sounds are louder and quiet parts quieter, or as they were recorded, with no reduction in any direction) and if you have a quality sound system this game will reward you with a brilliant sound experience.

    Overall, I walked away impressed playing this game. As a huge fan of the first game, I approached the sequel with an open mind and while I understand where some of that criticism comes from, I think a lot of it is simply not justified and is just a jaded response by those who were not happy with the direction ND chose to follow.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. People complaining about Joel dying gotta know this isn't his game, neither was it intended to be. In my opinion, killing off Joel at the start just made the game so much more interesting and had me hooked to it to know what happens further.

    The ending is something I can see why people are upset about and that is really subjective. Being a mature person, Ellie made the right choice but her one FEAR of being alone forever came true when even Dina left her. Most negative reviews focus on story but I felt attached to most characters, even Abby's 'side' of characters, albeit not as much ofcourse because they weren't there in Part 1 as much.

    ISSUES: But this game does have some issues. First, I didn't like the character design of Abby. I don't think she had to be that muscular to be shown strong. Secondly, WHY doesn't she have a combat knife while Ellie has switchblade? Why do I need to find shivs to kill clickers with Abby who comes from a more 'militaristic' faction of those shown.

    Next, I do have a BIG PROBLEM with the story telling. I wish Naughty Dog had narrated the story more parallel to both characters instead of having one person's story play through. Why? Because there was no suspense about Ellie leaving Owen and Mel alive. I knew they were dead so even when Abby's side of the story was playing out, I wasn't too attached to them since I knew they would die.

    Gameplay wise, I see they took some points from Days Gone where they talk about the infected traveling as hordes and handful stragglers left behind plus the memories/reminiscence of Ellie/Abby's past every now and then. I don't see much of an issue with gameplay because LOU series isn't really that big on gameplay. Some encounters were boring but there were also a lot of adrenaline pumping encounters that got me excited and wanting for more.    … Expand

    I think it's an excellent game! I have one or two points of criticism about moral questions in the story, which in my opinion, despite the underlining of the importance of these questions, are not sufficiently addressed. All in all I can say that I find this part better than the first one. Especially because of the much more complex story.

    The game is good, and people who hate this game because you can see LGBT is dum , because you can see LGBT on TLOU2, only 10% of all game. Games story is 9/10, and graphics (games mechanics) is 10/10.

The writers weren't crap, they actually thought through the entire story, not just what they wanted to happen in this particular segment of it. What this type of writing did is force you into the perspective of someone you hate, to show you the pain of two characters who have had someone ripped away from them at the hand of the other. It shows what grief can do to you in a world that is out of your control, just like real life. Don't hate the game because a favorite character dies, love it for what it taught you, if you can get past that first heart aching moment.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is the perfect example, why you have to play a game by yourself. The Last Us Part II is a pretty spectacular Game with a lot of strengths and some flaws. Lets talk about the things I really like about TLOU Part II.

    Strength
    - Visuals and Realism
    - Sound
    - Gameplay
    - Lore

    It looks/sounds and feels so good to play this. It was me an absolute honor. Thank you for the most beautiful and realistic game out there. The overall gameplay, on higher difficulty's is flawless, this mix of hiding, fighting, surprise attacks, silent kills, and gunaction feels so smooth and clean. From a gameplay perspective this is, for me, even better than Uncharted 4. But I'd say it is not as good as games like Sekiro, God of War or Dark Souls 3. But for a 3rd Person Shooter it is probably the best I've ever played. One big plus is also the way of telling a story through the world itself. It could be more divers, with a lot of Notes you find, but it always felt like this world is realistic and alive. and there is a lot happening that you didn't see.

    Overall a fun, awesome looking Triple AAA title.

    Flaws

    Well, it is a hard part for Neil Druckman and the people at naughty dog. I think the story is pretty solid and I was not annoyed by Abby. However, the review bombing comes from a perspective of people who didn't want to see any other story, than the story of Ellie and Joel. And this people are **** up, because as a fan of them you're pretty disappointed with this one. I love both of these characters and I have to say it hurts, but i still can appreciate what Naughty Dog tried here and I really liked the way they are trying to show how hard this world and the decisions can be. They really try to ask what is the right and wrong of the First Part. It was a hard question after Part I and it still is. Playing Abby for such a long time, surprised me first, but I was ok with it after the first 2 hours. The story shows us how Ellie looses herself, because she lost Joel. There are parts in this game, giving me Goosebumps, like the scene in the Natural History Museum.
    But after the End this game couldn't touch me as the first part, because Ellie distanced herself so hard from me. And Abbys Story feels a bit forced and is basically Joel's Story of Part I. Which still is great performed and written. But I didn't liked both sides in here and that makes me feel a bit off.

    This didn't change the fact I had a lot of fun with this one and Naughty Dog is still a outstanding game company.    … Expand

Dont trust the negative reviews,the narrative of this game is good,little kids are mad about Joels Death and how did this happened.Haters of this game is saying that Joel will not tell to those guys his name-First of all when Joel came to them Abby already know that it is killer of her father,cause while Tommy and Joel where resqueing Abby,Tommy said to Abby that his name is Tommy and it is my brother Joel,and thats it Abby is already know that is Joel.Second-Why did he told his name to the company of unknown people-Cause theve saved his life and after 5 year pause of crimes and violence.Ok lets talk about the plot,in opnion it is Narrative Masterpice,all chacters are like live persons with own psyche and motivations,the game is divided into a two strory lines Ellies story line and Abbys story line,and what can i say,Ellies Story line is like Uncharted 4 Ellie sacrifice all her for friends for revenge like Nathan Drake sacrifices everything for a treasure,and Abbys story line is like a Last of Us Part 1 Abby meet two strangers they resqued het and she resqued them,but after the night with Owen she sees a dream where she sees them died,and she decides to help them,and in the end of abbys soryline comes best level of the game Seraphites Island,and when WLF soliders comes to an island and begin a war with seraphits the island turns into mess and chaotic place,so i love this level.After Abbys storyline she finds Owen dead with Mel and she want to kill the killers of her friends she find out the theater and revenge Ellie for her friends.And waht can i say about ending Ellie coming to Santa Barbara to stop Flashbacks Where Joel always dies ( Read for text book while u are in Santa Barbara and ull understand what im taking about) and when Ellie overcome Abby and nearly kill Abby she sees Joel alive playing on his guitar and she understands that revenge is ended and she wins,but ull ask to me why didnt she kill Abby because she dont to became a monster that killed mother(Abby) in front of daughter (Lev).And when Ellie sees last flashback with Joel one day before his death where she forgives him for accident in the Salt Lake City Fireflies Hospital and we see that Joel is happy for his forgivnes and after it we see that Joel will be not forgotten.
    Gameplay is super interesting and action elements are breathtaking,weapon customization,stels elements and character animation is perfect.It is a good exapmle of perfect Gameplay.
    Graphics is perfect i think dont need to say anything.

    Epic game from start to finish!! Graphics are a 10 game play is a 10 & the storyline well i will rate it an 8..has a few flaws but over all solid....TLOU2 is game of the year for sure, one of the best looking games if not the best looking game ever on the PS4.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
