    Everything is just perfect exept two things: Characters should be more like they were in the first game and not politic correct: Just make them realistic and complex like you did in TLoU 1!
    And the second point contains spoilers:
    give the player at the start more time with yoel so that they can see how great the atmosphere, gameplay, story and characters are and then let abby kill yoel

    Kann gar nicht verstehen, warum das Spiel hier teilweise so schlecht dargestellt wird, ich vermute es sind Leute die einen Prinzip-Hass auf das Spiel haben, weil Homosexuelle Handlungen dargestellt werden oder die Geschichtserzählung nicht Ihren Werten entspricht.
    Nüchtern betrachtet aber ist das wohl eines, wenn nicht gar das, beste Spiel dass ich je gespielt habe!

It builds on the story of the original game and instead of giving us a story where we all smile and are happy, they delivered the most bold and ambitious story we ever could have imagined. The gameplay and level design are absolutely incredible. It really is an almost perfect game.     SPOILERS FOR PEOPLE THAT HAVENT PLAYED THE GAME

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------- First of all I want to say that of course there are people that genuinely disliked the game which is fine because what I'm about to say is just my opinion as well. So obviously the main reason there are so many bad reviews about a weak plot is because of how quick    SPOILERS FOR PEOPLE THAT HAVENT PLAYED THE GAME

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------- First of all I want to say that of course there are people that genuinely disliked the game which is fine because what I'm about to say is just my opinion as well.

    So obviously the main reason there are so many bad reviews about a weak plot is because of how quick and brutally Joel got killed in TLOU part 2. I am a big TLOU fan and I cant lie, I was pretty sad and angry when I first realised he had died and wasn't coming back. That the character we've played as for so many hours, that we've traveled across the US with, was gone and you couldn't do anything about it. But I think that this characters death alone makes people angry enough to think it's a bad game, is the reason why the game is so good. You feel the same way as Ellie, you can relate to Ellie when walking down that brutal, bloody path of revenge because one of your favorite characters got killed. I don't know about you, but in the beginning of TLOU part 2 I was happily killing everyone that got in my way to avenge Joel, but towards the end, and after seeing abby's perspective, I understood her point of view more. Imagine being abby instead of Ellie in TLOU 1 and some crazy guy with hundreds of deaths to his name killed your father who was trying to discover a cure for the fungus killing most of humanity for the past 20 years. I definitely still hate her for doing what she did, but I understand her reasons which makes her a great antagonist. The truth is, if Ellie killed her, someone else would have probably killed Ellie, and then Dina or someone would kill that person, and then another person would kill Dina and so on. But Ellie, realizing killing abby wont bring Joel back, and already traumatized by all of the countless people shes killed, decided to not kill abby, which would've probably haunted her for the rest of her life. This game is very **** sad, devastating and heartbreaking, but that's just the way TLOU's dark, gritty and realistic world is. It's not a game about flowers and sunshine. Sure, there are lighthearted moments (which I love they make me very happy), but all of the characters are forced to a violent lifestyle, if not to defend themselves from hunters, it's to be able to live with the constant threat of infected. Joel dying is probably one of the saddest moments in gaming but it's also what makes TLOU part 2 TLOU part 2. It immediately sets the tone and you're like 'oh **** that really happened. It's about to get really dark and brutal.' Basically what I'm trying to say is that Joel's death and the entire story with Ellie, who was once a little girl always joking around but now murdering people whilst traumatizing herself because of how angry and broken she is, is the saddest thing ever, but it also makes it one of the best games ever. All these emotions. It's amazing what ND have done with the sequel. Everything you've done and experienced, all leading up to this dark, depressing ending. It really makes you feel something.

    And that's just talking about one aspect of the story jesus I could talk for days about this. But other than the amazing story, you cant deny that the graphics, first of all, are beautiful. I mean, next time you play the game, take a second to look at the environment. The details. It all looks so real. It continues to amaze me how far games have come.

    Next thing I want to talk about is the combat. It's so **** flawless and cool, a perfect mixture of brutality and swiftness. This really makes any encounter feel like a movie.

    And then of course there's the acting. I literally cant find the words to describe how amazing and realistic the acting is. All these amazing and talented actors are what bring the characters alive. It's what makes a game better then lots of movies.

    And finally the sound design. I'm sure you've already noticed this in TLOU part 1. Its beautiful. That's all I have to say.

    All of that put together by lots of talented developers, programmers, designers and the rest of the people that worked on the game creates this amazing, emotional and beautiful game. Don't let one moment ruin this beautiful cinematic piece of art.

    But of course that's just my opinion about The Last Of Us part II. (To all of the people sending hate to abby's voice actor and face model, how does it feel to be an immature full of **** disgusting unlikable person. Feel free to change.)    … Expand

    A very Intense game with some very emotional moments, some of the storylines will stay with you long after playing the game. Really enjoyed playing this. Worthy successor to the first game.

    You may love the story or you may hate the story... but what the game shows with perfection is that we are humans and we screw up (even in a "normal" world, let alone after the apocalipse). The game itself is a masterpiece. Amazing graphics, gameplay etc, Don't let bullies and fake news spreaders (90% of the bad reviews here who hasn't even played the game but are against a progressiveYou may love the story or you may hate the story... but what the game shows with perfection is that we are humans and we screw up (even in a "normal" world, let alone after the apocalipse). In real life, no one is entirely evil, and no one is entirely good. Everyone has their own motivation for why they are acting the way that they are.

    What i love about this game is that every character acts in a way that they think is justified. In doing so, conflict is created and characters in different groups all begin to hate each other. The game does a fantastic job of showing how even though we humans may split ourselves into different tribes and groups, fundamentally what we all want is the same. The game’s message is that violence is never the way to resolve conflict, as no one ever wins when violence is involved. Overall i would highly recommend you play this game. It had a profound impact on me, and it very likely will have a profound impact on you too. Don’t let the bad reviews discourage you. Allow yourself to come to your own conclusion about this incredible game.

    ***THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF MY SPOILER REVIEW!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!***

    At the end of the first last of us game, Joel made an extremely difficult and consequential decision. He decided to save Ellie, and as a result prevented the creation of a vaccine and caused the deaths of millions of people around the world and possibly doomed humanity to extinction. This act was incredibly selfish and could easily be interpreted as evil.

    This game deals with the consequences of that decision. It explores the paths of two characters, Ellie and Abby, characters who were on different sides of Joel’s decision. Joel kills Abby’s father, who was trying to create a vaccine that would save humanity. This is something that Abby cannot forgive him for, and so she seeks revenge and murders him. From Abby’s perspective, Joel is the villain and she is entirely justified in her decision to kill him.

    Ellie obviously loves Joel, as he saved her life. In response to his murder, she views Abby as the villain, and seeks revenge on her and her crew. She travels to Seattle and ruthlessly murders all of Abby’s friends in her pursuit of justice. She becomes increasingly deranged throughout her campaign, and you as the player are forced to do some incredibly morally reprehensible things as her. I found this to be incredibly thought provoking, as it demonstrates how one violent act begets another, how the cycle of violence is continuous and how it is very difficult to break.

    For the second half of the game, you are forced to play as Abby. She realises that killing Joel hasn’t actually made her feel any better about the loss of her father. She realises that violence will not make her feel better, and she refuses to join the WLF’s attack on the seraphites. She instead decides to save the lives of two seraphite kids who have been shunned by their community. This segment of the game shows how all humans, regardless of tribe (WLF or seraphite), are fundamentally all the same. The war between the WLF and Seraphites at the end of Abby’s journey shows that no one wins in war, and everyone loses. It demonstrates that violence is never the way to resolve disputes.

    Right at the end of the game, when Ellie confronts Abby, she realises that killing Abby won’t bring Joel back, and that Abby’s motivations are just as valid as hers. She spares Abby, and the game ends.

    While i understand much of the criticism directed at this story, and i recognise that it isn’t for everyone, i had an absolutely incredible experience playing this game. At its core, the game teaches us that violence is never the correct way to handle a situation. It does this by exposing the player to some of the most horrific violence imaginable, to demonstrate the severe consequences that it can have. If you have made it this far into my review, i just want to say thank you. I don’t normally write reviews for games, but this one stuck with me for a while after i finished playing it, and i had to get this off my chest. This game absolutely deserves all of the game of the year awards it received, and is easily one of the best games ever created.    … Expand

It’s an equally great if not even greater game than it’s predecessor. Everything from the mechanics to the graphics to the AI, variety of enemies, voice acting, facial animations, etc. is all perfect. The storytelling & its pacing are incredible & never dullIt’s insane that a game this good got review bombed. It’s obvious that the vast majority of these people never even played the game . It’s an equally great if not even greater game than it’s predecessor. Everything from the mechanics to the graphics to the AI, variety of enemies, voice acting, facial animations, etc. is all perfect.     Amazing game!
    The story is great, with unpredictable twists and I felt real attachment to the characters. Graphics are great and I did not experience any bugs. This has to be the best sequel to any game I've played.

    People that gives it a poor rating either did not play it or expected a very specific ending. It's childish to rate something poorly because it did not end how you expected it to.

Guys, we need to take a deeper look at the situation and draw our own conclusions, and not duplicate someone else's opinion, which has been imposed for many many years.     I loved the game! To me, the uncommon structure of the game and its characters only adds to the overall narrative and ideas. At the end of the game, I felt deeply empathetic for everyone and I felt that I have a lot to think about.

    Es un juego increíble, no entiendo las críticas negativas, he jugado el primero justo antes de darle a este y es muy continuista, respecto a lo de Ellie, es bastante predecible si jugaron el dlc Left Behind. La jugabilidad y el nivel de detalles de naughty dog es increíble. Para mí es el juego del año sin duda.

    10/10, mejor en todos los aspectos que TLOU 1, aprendes a querer a los villanos tanto como a odiar a los heroes, solo me hubiera gustado que hubieran dejado mas para TLOU 3. Los comentarios negativos son hechos por gente fanatica de bajo coeficiente intelectual, ignórenlos.

    I had to scroll past 5-6 pages just to find a review that wouldn’t be a 0. That’s just a sign that this game continues to be “review bombed” by insecure, childish, immature, pervy, closeted, sheltered neckbeards who were clearly disappointed that the game creators decided not to oversexualize the main characters and make them a bit more controversial that what they are used to in theirI had to scroll past 5-6 pages just to find a review that wouldn’t be a 0. That’s just a sign that this game continues to be “review bombed” by insecure, childish, immature, pervy, closeted, sheltered neckbeards who were clearly disappointed that the game creators decided not to oversexualize the main characters and make them a bit more controversial that what they are used to in their sheltered, hateful lives. Same thing is happening with Horizon Zero Dawn 2, where the main female character appeared to have facial hair and that sent the “gamers” over the edge. I love video games, but the community can be really toxic. Oh, yea, the game…. The Last of Us 2 is a masterpiece. Period. If you believe what these user reviews are saying, just skip it and play some Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball. That will probably be more to your liking.… Expand

    People need to understand that just because you don’t like how a story goes, that doesn’t make the game bad. This is the best storytelling in any game I have ever seen, and has a great message which the player can reflect on. On top of it all, the game is beautful, and extremely realistic.

    This is a true sequel. Some might not like it, but it outclasses the first game in many ways. Even if you aren't super fond of the story (I personally enjoyed it), it is a technical masterpiece. This is a video game that makes other games feel like video games, if that makes sense.

    In the end I was absolutely blown away and felt it's an absolute masterpiece, from the animation and graphics and the story of Ellie.

    The game is absolutely beautiful in all aspects (story, gameplay, MUSIC!!!). Even though I didn't like some decisions and some acts of the main characters, it's still a hell of a rollercoaster. A masterpiece with outstanding musical compositions from Gustavo Santaolalla. Thanks, Naughty Dog!

    This game is absolutely amazing. For my money the best game of all time. Engaging, emotional, and powerful story with the best gameplay I’ve experienced. It has the most beautiful graphics ever in a game, it’s that f’n good.

Joel murdered Abby’s father the only person who can make a cure and people get upset when karma comes back on him - people need to grow up and realize that life doesn’t always go the way you want. The story is realistic and everything about the game is a masterpiece …if someone murdered your dad you would want revenge huh.?? Oh and btw Joel isn’t Ellie’s real dad - but it was Abby’s real dad that got slaughtered .… Expand

    This game was review bombed to hell and back for no good reason, despite the controversial plot this game should never get a 0 as it has many things working in its favor plus the story is really not that bad, the only reason people think it's bad was because of the mob hatred for this game caused by influences saying it was bad even though critics agree that this is a must play

    Simplesmente maravilhoso. Não consegui dar uma nota menor que 10 para essa maravilha de jogo. Comprei para o meu PS4 em dezembro de 2021 e adorei do começo ao fim. É aquele típico jogo que você não quer terminar. Tem que ser nota 10!!

    A morally difficult game, this game simply destroyed me, after the game I felt devastated. At some point, I forgot that I was playing a game, the characters of this game came to life for me. From a technical point of view, this game is perfect (Graphics and gameplay) the most detailed locations and a super beautiful post-apocalyptic world.

    Apenas o melhor game de todos os tempos. Não tem mais o que falar. Nada no mundo consegue descrever a perfeição que é The Last Of Us Part II. Xbox nunca vai ter isso.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
