    This is my favorite game of all time. Story is great, characters are amazing, the music and the environment is breath taking. The game is a emotional rollercoaster and gives me amazing vibes. It’s a masterpiece.

I finally played it and was already scared because I heard a lot of bad things about the game and knew about it's bad rating. Even though it's really tough to play Abby in the beginning (because I hated her sooo much) it made sense in the end. Her part was maybe a bit to long and for the most part I thought: I will kill you as soon as I can, but in the end scene I was really scared for both characters. It was a very bold decision to let the player play the enemy, but it showed that there are no good or bad, hero or villan in this story. I really liked it.… Expand

    What to say about this masterpiece, which is the last of us part two, without a doubt the best game of the ps4 generation, good gameplay, beautiful graphics, best facial expression ever made in a game, the story mode was pretty bold, showing two sides of the same coin the last of us and a work of art from beginning to end.

    The game is wonderful (in its characters, its story, its gameplay among others) its entire story agrees very well with its first installment and this one is incredible.
    I would play it as many times as necessary since it is very entertaining and satisfying, it also teaches us an incredible moral that helps and determines people.

    Definitivamente merecedor del juego del año, The last of us 2 es un excelente juego a pesar de la mala recibida que tuvo que de gente que a mi impresión no se tomo la libertad de jugarlo por (spoilers) la muerte de Joel que después de todo lo que hizo es bastante lógico que le llegara a pasar lo que vimos en el juego. La historia es muy buena, los gráficos exentes, el gameplay igual. LoDefinitivamente merecedor del juego del año, The last of us 2 es un excelente juego a pesar de la mala recibida que tuvo que de gente que a mi impresión no se tomo la libertad de jugarlo por (spoilers) la muerte de Joel que después de todo lo que hizo es bastante lógico que le llegara a pasar lo que vimos en el juego.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is a game that you only can criticise if you've completed the story. And that's what have gone wrong. How can people criticise the story when they didn't even know about the ending? Halfway through the game you play as Abby. I hated her as well. But playing as her and revealing that Joel killed her father was mind-blowing. The play style gives a perfect perspective of what Abby has gone through. Abby's father can die but Joel can't? Remember that they are both humans. And the impact of the story is absolutely soul crushing, and that is what a good story does, making an impact. The story is about perspective. Think about what would have happened if part 2 was the same style as the first one. It would be a repetitive mess. I feel bad for the developers seeing all the hate, while they did a fantastic job.

    Overall: This game is a well made sequel to one of the best games of all time. It's not a Disney movie for children

    Seguito strepitoso: non innova particolarmente il gameplay, ma immerge il giocatore in un racconto semplice ma avvincente, superiore addirittura a quello del primo episodio, con personaggi fantastici e colpi di scena continui.
    Uno di quei giochi che rimane nel cuore di chi ci ha giocato.

    I held off after all the negative press and avoided playing.

    That was a mistake. This is the best built, most polished game I have ever played. It is my new favourite game of all time, overtaking god of war and GTA5

    The plot lines are completely in synch and there’s no unjustified actions. Every decision has a consequence, and in this raw and violent universe, it’s no exception. Ellie had a motivation so powerful, she would not stop until she accomplish it, and when she’s about to, something has changed...

    By the end of the game, Ellie’s not the same girl she was at the beginning of it. You can discover that by playing the game you’re talking crap ab. I mean eventually, you even know the names and some sort of background cute story of the dogs you kill with Ellie.

    You can’t ignore the nature of the horrors that occurs in this game, but still it all appeals to humanity. And that’s strangely wholesome.

    I’m grateful for this narrative and the storytelling mastery behind it.    … Expand

    SPOILERS: Even though I disliked it at first, being able to play as Abby was incredible. Much like the writing in game of thrones I ended up understanding the perspective of who I thought had been the villain. The true villain in this game is the setting, forcing characters into terrible decisions.

    I felt sad at the end, but I respect the ballsy choices and I had a hell of a fun time playing it. I also felt like the characters truly developed (sometimes in horrible ways). This game is a story of a tragedy, and I know gamers aren't used to that. It would be better reviewed by a film audience I'm sure.    … Expand

    I can't write too much about the game without spoilers. In any case, it shows that there is not always good and evil, but that everything is a matter of perspective. Every single second of the game feels carefully thought out to me and the story offers so much depth. An emotional, immersive gaming experience that I will never forget.

    Stunning! Absolutely no expense spared! This is a prime example of pure quality! As far as the story, it's as true to life as it gets! Meaning, not everything in life goes the way you intend. Just as it doesn't in the story. Let the haters hate. That's what they do best! This game and its older brother (part one) are the best experience I have ever had in my entire video gaming history!

    My favourite game of the PS4 era. I liked the original a hell of a lot - but this felt way better to me. The combat this time actually felt fun, and it was so fun to take people out and stealth around. And look, I get it, the story was controversial but I really enjoyed it. This is in my top 3 games of all time, probably - it's not MGS3 but it scratches somewhat of a similar itch for me.

    I have played through Part 1 and Part 2 multiple times. They are both excellent. Frame rate is buttery smooth on PS5 at 60fps. The game is kinda dark and heavy though with no lightening of the mood at any point. It's not for everyone.

    Плюсы:

    1. Сюжет. Да, тут много спорных решений. Да, тут есть сложно обьяснимые (но обьяснимые все же!) моменты. Но это творческое видение автора, и в целом я остался более чем довольным, и произвела на меня игра сильное впечталение и даже чему-то научила.

    2. Геймплей. Он прокачался относительно 1 части, но ощущается иначе засчет эффектов и анимаций. Проходил игру на высокой сложности (в 1 раз) и было прям супер интересно, в отличии от приквела, где я мог просто засыпать. Прокачка оружия и персонажа умеренная, анимации - великолепные, не менее.

    3. Графика. Лучшая графика в играх на данный момент, однозначно, и максимально реалистичная.

    4. Дизайн локаций. Выполнено все красиво и стильно, отлично передает сеттинг (что тоже плюс, обожаю зеленые постапоки) и понятно, куда идти.

    Минусы:

    1. Транс-персонаж. Я ко многому спорному в плане леволиберальных идей отношусь нормально, но что в постапокалипсисе делает транс - я не пойму.

    2. Дисбаланс сложности. Что в 1 части, что во 2, играть на уровне сложности ниже среднего-высокого играть скучно.

    Итог. Игра, за исключением пары незначительных моментов прекрасна, и я очень надеюсь, что 3 часть будет на этой же, а то и планкой выше.    … Expand

Naughty Dog, this is easily your guys’ best work since Uncharted 2 and there is a reason why you guys are the top underdogs in the gaming business on delivering the very best experience as possible and I hope you guys get royally compensated for creating this incredible follow-up masterpiece. No wonder why HBO’s The Last of Us is happening with Neil Druckmann and Chernobyl’s Craig Mazin on-board for the live adaptation..… Expand

    Way better than the first game in my opinion.
    I got very emotional throughout the story and that really tells me when a game is well written and fun for me. The gun mechanics were better and more fun than in the first game, with aiming being more smooth and reliable to work with. I would definitely recommend this to someone that has played the first game.

Naughty dog again did an incredible job in storytelling, graphics and so on. You as a player really feel the way the characters feel in the game and it makes you think, trust me. With this story the player himself is animated to think about the good and bad. Is Abby really „the bad one“ for killing Joel? Isn‘t Ellie „the bad one“ because she wants revenge at all costs and even gives up her happy relationship for revenge? These are only some of the questions the player asks himself while playing and this is what makes the game absolutely incredible.… Expand

The combat is really fun and challenging and the story's also good. Dont know why people are complaining a certain character didn't get a "heroic" death.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Najlepsza gra poprzedniej generacji, równie dobrze gdyby została wypuszczona na ps5 bez zmiany grafiki rozwaliła by konkurencję. Ogrywałem ją 4 razy i za każdym razem byłem wciągnięty w tą fabułę i nie mogłem się od niej oderwać. Historia która przedstawia ta gra to majstersztyk. Zarazem remastered i part ll są obowiązkowym tytułem do ogrania na konsoli. Jestem wielkim fanem gier post-apo a ta trafiła u mnie w punkt. Jako naczelny fan serii tlou od czasów ps3 musiałem napisać recenzję lecz widzę , że spadł wielki hate na twórców gry za uśmiercenie głównej postaci w pierwszych 2 godzinach gry, początkowo nie potrafiłem się z tym pogodzić i przez tydzień nie wychodziłem z domu. Lecz musiałem się dowiedzieć co będzie dalej. I było warto.

    Um dos melhores jogos que eu já joguei. Tanto o The Last Of Us Parte 1 quanto o Parte 2. Esse game transmite sensações que pouquíssimos jogos conseguem passar, além de ter uma ótima gameplay com gráficos, ambientações e personagens muito realistas e com diversos detalhes.

    Геймплей стал ещё лучше с 1 части, если вы играете на высоком уровне сложности. Так вы получите выживач с ограниченным количеством боеприпасов, аптечек, больше патронов на врага и заставит играть стелсом. Своими эффектами, боевкой и стрельбой это 10/10
    Разные мелкие детали, как физика коней, физика самого персонажа, звуки оружия, физика стекла, кровь, огонь - это просто невероятно.
    Игра шикарная, кто бы что ни говорил. Если вы ждёте тяжёлую, мрачную, серьезную, интересную историю, то покупайте и вы не пожалеете    … Expand

    Уж слишком засрана игра, если быть честным. Конечно, повесточку подвезли нехуйную, но чёрт его подрал, тех.составляющее, графон, геймплей - это просто низкий поклон.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The most intense Video game I ever played. I loved it for that. I can't say whether I like the first or second part more. They were just so different. The first part had this funny moments and this great story of Joel and Ellie and their relationship. The second one was not rewarding in that sense. It was dark, cruel and made you feel miserable. It was so tough to watch Joel die and even harder to see how their relationship was getting worse towards the end (since Ellie realized he lied about the fireflies).
    It was also so hard to start playing Abby (a character you want to see dead after torturing and killing Joel). I couldn't really appreciate the gameplay at this moment, since I just didn't want to play the last 4 days again as Abby. I had to know what will happen to Ellie in the theatre, and the 10 hour of Abby gameplay was just "in the way", always wondering if you would have to kill Ellie in the end. Now after finishing the game and knowing everything, these 10 hours were good, the story was good, the characters were interesting, he scenery was epic and Abby started to look less and less like a monster. It's just at the time of playing you can't appreciate it , you just want to know what happens in this theatre.

    In the end you can understand Abby somewhat, but still I couldn't really relate to her or find her likable. But personally I really liked the end. I think Ellie realized that Abby is to Lev what Joel was to her and so she didn't kill her.

    One thing I really missed in the sequel is Ellie's humorous character. Unfortunately she (the writers) totally missed this. This would have been important for me since the story and atmosphere is anyways so incredible dark, that would have lightened the mood a little.

    To conclude this: The last of us Part 2 is an absolute Masterpiece for me, but also mentally one of the most difficult games ever. I can't remember that a game ever made me think that much. The feelings this game generates are just immense, and it is really hard to handle them at times.    … Expand

    This game is spectacular great story line and gameplay definitely one of my favourites. This game is hated by a lot of people due to part of the story line but I found the twist in the game nailed it! I hope Naughty Dog makes a last of us part 3 I love this series so far!

The settings of the game are not only visually stunning but work perfectly with the story they are supposed to be a part of, it truly locks you in a makes you feel as if you are actually there. The story is one that brings all the emotions into play throughout it, joy, humour, rage, sadness, etc. While it is not a story that everyone appreciates due to their own opinions if you are able to appreciate great storytelling and set aside what path you had envisioned the story to take then you will truly love the story of this game the same way that I and so many others have.
    Overall for me, the perfect game with no complaints about it. I laughed, I cried, I sat and admired the beautiful world that I had been put into. The music choices for this game are so fitting and really just ties everything together with certain songs recurring at different points in the story but with different tones to them.    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
