    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This my Mild Spoiler Free review for the game. Similar to ACG Reviews since I love that format. Graphics: 10/10 - Best looking PS4 Game so far. This is undeniable and I'm pretty sure most if not all will agree. The detail of this game is amazing. Sound Music and Voice: 8/10 - They really made the game lean more into Horror. The background sounds are scary when in dark spaces and the silence in some places makes you seem wary of everything. The first game has its horror moments but this game take it up a notch.

    Story: 8/10 - I rate the first game a 9/10. I'm one of the rare people who didn't thought the game's story was a masterpiece but it was good for what they did. The first story was basically an old dude who can't move on from the death of his kid after so many years smuggling a kid to a group. That's it. The main story's focus is literally about Love and the relationship between Ellie and Joel. And they use that in the second game to make you hurt. The Part 2 is a story about revenge and they utilize it well. I'm not gonna touch into too much of the spoilers. But the game has two Protagonist, Ellie (Protagonist) and Abby (Antagonist) both are woman are on a quest for revenge and hate for different yet justifiable reasons. A lot of the hate for this story is with Abby as abby does horrible **** and they let you play as them and make you do this as a player instead of a cinematic experience. They did this add context to what she does and why she does what she did. From a story telling platform this actually makes sense, since I don't think anyone one would have wanted to start 10 plus hours of the game at the start as a Stranger. Instead they give you chunks of her story at a time and chunks of Ellie's story. It's a little weird and to be honest I guess they could have just divided the two. Like an option to Play Ellie's story and Abby's story in the menu or unlocking Abby's story after playing the game. I'm sure this would have made the game a whole lot better for other people out there. For me, personally I don't have a problem with it though. The reason I only have it an 8 is because they did their job. They made us feel hate, violence and horror more than the first game and to be honest I kinda don't wanna feel all of that. The real world is a bit like that and I'm looking for something a little light hearted now. Not saying there isn't light hearted moments in the game, there is and they're one of the best moments in the game but I wish there was more of that. Gameplay: 9/10 - the gameplay is a 100 percent improvement. Basically it's the first game's gameplay with a few tweaks to make it feel more polished and action heavy. There's a Dodge system now that although not game breaking was a good addition specially when engaging with battle with multiple people. The jump mechanic isn't that new in other games but it's certain is for the Last of Us and adds more ways to traverse yourself. There are more items to craft meaning more ways to fight and you can tell the game is more action heavy than the first. Each encounter is like a chess match and you have to careful plan out your tactics or your toast. NPC's actually do some **** now compare to the first game. Talking about the companions here. The game is more open now too and you can explore the ruins of the cities unlike the first game. In the first game you can look around a bit but comparing that to the sequel is just crazy. Of course there are risk very reward choices as exploring this world might mean encountering more problems, infected and savages to fight against but would mean extra items and even some weapons or weapon mods that you would have missed. There are also collectibles too and the card collection thing was actually better than I thought. Disappointed that you can't play with the cards thought.

    Most of the people who hate the game didn't even beat or play the game. Not saying there aren't people who doesn't like the game after playing it but most didn't. There are a lot of people saying they hate the game and won't even play it because of some scenes?? The game got review bomb after only a few hours and it's cleared that they just saw some cutscenes without context and skipped to the ending. Which is pathetic.


    Fun factory: This actually depends on the gamer but if you love the first game you should definitely give this one a try. It has different stroke for different folks ;)    … Expand

    This game is absolutely fantastic. The story is amazing and heartbreaking. How an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. The one take-away I had was that combat was annoying, I like how enemies flank you, and get around you, but friendly AI will sometimes not react to such a flank, even if they're covering your back.     Strong, deep, emotional, dark, violent, obsessive, sad and powerful game. This is the best game i've played in my entire life, and ive played a lot lol. I honestly think this is way better than the first installment

    Story-telling and characterisation are way more sophisticated than its predecessor. The criticism that the story is full of severe plot holes or inconsistencies of character behaviours is inaccurate. A number of such details are conveyed through minute dialogues, micro expressions, Ellie's journal logs (I'm not sure how many people actually read through the journal) etc. One also needs to read between the lines to fully understand the implication. As long as one notices these details, it's not that difficult to appreciate the story. Nevertheless, I'm not completely happy with the narrative because I'm afraid some of the key messages are too subtle to get across.
    Technical aspects such as graphics and physics, though not flawless, are definitely top-notch.
    In terms of gameplay, it depends on one's personal taste. As far as I'm concerned, I enjoyed the gameplay pretty well, even though it's not my favourite.
    It would be a pity to deprive oneself of the opportunity to enjoy a potentially good, if not great, game simply because of the review bomb against it, not to mention that many of the criticisms are groundless.
    In my opinion, PART II is a solid 8.5/10. Considering how biased its current score is, I'd like to give it 10/10.    … Expand

    I have so much expectations going into the game. Especially the story of Ellie and Joel. I wanted to see the character developments of Joel and Ellie five years after the first game timeline. The dissapointments then came after the horrible sequence where we have to see the horrible story. Such a dissapointment. Лично мне не понравились первые два дня после первой половины Игры потому как в них не было никакого смысла с точки зрения цельного сюжета, мотивацию одного из главных персонажей раскрыли как то скомкано и то ближе к концу Игры. Тем не менее все минусы что я увидел не перекрывают того факта что игра очень красивая, интересная, трогательная и местами пугающая...Как игра абстрагируясь от первой ее части это 10 из 10, как продолжение 1 части это немного другой проект от которого многие ждали немного другого...Я крайне рекомендую пройти именно до конца, концовка игры может сгладить те шороховатости возникшие в ее середине.… Expand

Wenn man das Spiel unvoreingenommen spielt und die Charaktere auf sich wirken lässt, dann kommt man nach cirka 3/4 der Geschichte dahin, dass man Abby nicht nur versteht, sondern sie mag. Sie hilft den beiden jungen, flüchtenden Scars, distanziert sich von den Wolfs, lässt Ellie, obwohl sie 2 mal die Gelegenheit hat sie zu töten am Leben ... und ist einfach der nettere Charakter als die von Rachedurst zerfressene, mörderische Ellie. Ich habe mich gefreut, dass Abby am Ende mit Lev in ein neues Leben mit den Fireflies fahren konnte. Mich hat die ganze Geschichte gefesselt, mitgenommen und ... ständig zum Nachdenken über die irre Gewalt zwischen diesen ganzen zersprengten Menschengruppen gebracht, die in dieser beschissenen, apokalyptischen Welt nichts besseres zu tun haben als sich gegenseitig umzubringen. Das einzige Spiel das mich zuvor auf diese Weise bewegt und zum Nachdenken gebracht hat war "Becoming Human".… Expand

    The game is very well done, graphics looks realistic and really well made for a ps4, the animations are very smooth and make the gameplay feel so dynamic, about the story if you play it open minded of course it’s actually a good story for a game like the last of us, a raw world where tragedy is an everyday topic

The vibe in this game is unreal. Very realistic, recognisable, and immersive.

    The music is astoundingly good as well. The 3D audio is unreal, making especially the stealthy scenes extremely tense. Imagine sneaking through a dark, moist grotto loaded with infected, with no ammo and nothing but a weak flashlight beam and your knife. Extremely well done.

    If anything, this is a masterpiece and more than a worthy successor to Part I. This is Naughty Dogs most ambitious game thusfar.    … Expand

Los personajes, cada uno de los personajes formaron parte de una historia que crea un nuevo entorno y drama... han pasado años desde la primera historia y ahora continua en parte pero tambien se ha dado un giro drástico, pues asi son las cosas. En mi opinión como fan de the last of us desde el 2013 este juego ha valido cada puto segundo.
    3. La historia que es el punto mas odiado por los “fans” es algo que ver desde una perspectiva ya avanzada. Es cierto que no se hablo mucho de las luciérnagas o la “cura” para la humanidad como se baso toda la primera parte. Pero ahora las cosas han cambiado, no pueden aferrarse a una sola idea como era el objetivo del primer juego. Ahora la historia tiene características diferentes para mostrarnos la realidad de las cosas años después durante el apocalipsis. Los personas cambian, las relaciones tambien y cada puto hecho que ocurre en la historia es por algo... nos dejan pensando en los errores del ser humano y el perdon, o cambiar a ultima hora tus decisiones ya sea para darle un mínimo de sentido a la muerte de joel, como puede ser el perdon y el seguir adelante.    … Expand

    I love the the music, the graphics, and the story is amazing. Like, really. A game not only about hatred and vengeance, but also forgiveness and reflection. It toys with your emotions but you have to try and see the other side of things, and it makes you feel what it’s really like to live in the world of The Last of Us. Brilliant game.

    The Last of Us 2 its amazing game than a have to playing in this year, the history in the first game its about love, in this sequel its about revenge, brutal violence.... and the central two characters was connected for some reason to reflect in your lives in the end. This game its awesome!

    I am Russian and I am very far from the message of this game. I didn't understand the drama of the plot, I didn't understand the motivation of the characters. As I did not understand the prolonged boring gameplay. Good graphics, great animations, boring gameplay, AI has not changed since the first part, the plot is complete nonsense.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Que jogo meus amigos, cada detalhe muito bem pensado na história, no gráfico, na ambientação, estou sem palavras para explicar o quanto esse jogo me impressionou e ansioso para saber como o jogo ficará no PS5.

    Entendo que muitos não gostaram da morte do Joel, também não fiquei, mas achei totalmente justificável com as ações dele no final do primeiro jogo, a atitude do nosso querido Joel infelizmente acarretou a extinção da unica esperança de cura que o mundo teria. Eu teria feito o meso que ele? Sem dúvidas, mas não é de se surpreender que alguém queria mata-lo por causa disso, ainda mais a Abby que teve mais um fator de que o médico responsável era o seu pai. Ponto justificado da morte do Joel, continuamos a avaliação do jogo.

    O gráfico meus amigos, cada detalhe de movimentação, pequenas marcas nos rostos dos personagens, praticamente tudo nesse jogo é surpreendente a ponto de toda vez que você notar um detalhe sair espontaneamente de sua boca um "UAU".

    A profundidade que a história deu aos personagens, suas atitudes, consequências e até jeitos no andar deram uma humanizada absurda, a ponto de criarmos afeto ao personagem.

    Vale mencionar que o ponto de jogarmos com a Abby todos os dias em que a Ellie estava em Seattle foi uma ótima estratégia. Vimos que Abby no final de contas, mesmo matando o Joel de forma cruel, era uma pessoa boa a sua comunidade e lutava pelo justo, mesmo com a busca pela vingança de seu pai.

    As lutas que temos com a Ellie são de partir o coração, a todo momento fiquei pensando (mano, não quero bater nela, para com isso), mas novamente justificável por toda a trajetória que passamos com a Abby, novamente teria feito o mesmo.

    Gostei do jeito em que aprofundaram o irmão de Joel, Tommy, fiquei bastante feliz ao ver que o atirador de elite na passarela que não errava uma e usava a estratégia para parar Abby era na verdade ele.

    Sofri poucos bugs durante o jogo que não atrapalharam a minha experiencia, uma porta que não se abriu de primeira e renderização de poucas placas durante o andar do game, mas para mim é justificável pela grandeza dos cenários e detalhes programados, sem dúvida passaria um bugzinho ou outro.

    Vale mencionar que o fim do game, na minha opinião, deixou a Ellie sem um propósito, algo que achei um pouco ruim, mas espero que caso saia um terceiro ela encontre o propósito nos Vagalumes.

    Por fim, história 10/10, gráficos 10/10, soundtrack 10/10 e jogabilidade 10/10.    … Expand

    If there were a minus degree then i would've chosen it, because this game was ruined and has nothing to do with the original story. Don't get fooled by the critics ratings, they only recommended it since their work is somehow like **** work.

    I would say 4.5 because I love the audio, the visuals, the gameplay, but the story is just such a let down and that’s the main point of a game like this. This was my anticipated game this year and I am completely let down. I actually regret paying full price for game.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It’s saying something when the most enjoyable parts of the game are the 5 minutes of flashbacks with what SHOULD be the main characters. I couldn’t care less about the new characters they forced on us for half the game, and didn’t care if or when they died. Many of the events in the storyline just didn’t make sense, such as the countless instances where it seems like the characters are going to die, but then WOW! They somehow get spared! It was just an unsatisfying game, particularly the ending. No one waited 7 years to follow along characters we don’t care about after they immediately murdered Joel, one of the few that we actually care about, no matter his flaws or the “justification.” I understand the message they strived to send, but it was executed horribly. The only two things that save this game from a 1 or 2 rating are: the flashbacks of Joel and Ellie (particularly the dinosaur/space museum - absolute perfection), and the graphics/ gameplay. The story and its execution ruin this game. Sad, since the first is the best game I’ve ever played.… Expand

    Игра в целом хороша, но не без минусов в подаче и раскрытии персонажей. По моему мнению её слишком затянули, ну зато локации очень красочные и довольно большие. Ставлю десятку только из за того что она не заслуживает такой низкой пользовательской оценки. Концовка в контексте всего что произошло за 25 часов игры просто охуенна, change my mind. И я надеюсь обе девчули в будущем обретут покой, каков бы он ни был. 8/10. Отдельное спасибо за флешбек в музее    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This score is more because of the bloated critic score and based on the story, characters and their poor development with a lot of their portrayal and how much I dislike the execution of the whole story.

    If i were to weigh the story with the rest of the game, I'd give it a 7/10, but that's because a lot of my enjoyment is from the story of games. I've played most of the game and seen the ending as well and a lot of the remaining parts since I watched someone during the last few hours of the game as I played up to that point, it largely discouraged me from still playing it right now.

    The story and the characters were the worst of it for me. It really ruined my enjoyment of the game with the involvement of characters and how they want us to feel for some of them but they are just so largely unlikable. Ellie is OK but I don't like her nearly as much as before and I loved the flashbacks with her and joel but they made her not as enjoyable. Also the fact that she didn't kill Abby at the end really bugs me.

    The fact that they killed Jesse the way they did, one of the only characters I actually liked, made the game slog even more as well as Dina leaving but I didn't mind her as a character, I personally expected her to die since this was meant to be a tragic story, same with Abby, and have Abby kill dina. I really didn't care for Abby and their situation with any of them and I was glad to see Manny killed right with her. Ellie made sure to ruthlessly murder all the guys but didn't kill the final two girls for such a poor reason.

    The banter between ellie and dina got sort've old as did the flirting, them communicating is also often off where it's almost like ellie doesn't know how to feel comfortable or really talk anymore but she was always so enjoyable in the flashbacks, especially the museum. I enjoyed that. The way they are often judging and thinking they are so much smarter than everyone as well, often thinking their version of justice even when they know next to nothing was rather annoying and their view point.

    I wish they would've involved jesse a bit more, he was sort've killed off fast but he had such limited involvement and I liked him. Probably one of my favorites which isn't saying much but they killed him off with little actual interaction over all compared to most characters with dina and tommy. Especially given the fact that he was the first new character introduced in the game. I rather enjoyed tommy's involvement and wish we got more time with him and his view during the game. however, he was really dumb with saying his name to a bunch of strangers. They made it well known last game to not really address yourself as well as their history. He nearly instantly states his name and joels after things calmed down rather than being on defense. Especially with their history besides only the last 4 years. Also, abby showed no hesitation to start killing joel after he just saved her life? Terrible writing and build up.    … Expand

The storytelling is kinda overwhelming, not perfect but not completely sucks, being all honest here, we need to see the point of the story with a different point of view, it is not a cliche, sadly people always want the thing the way they prefer. It’s always good to be out of our comfort zone, to be amazed by another type of plot-twist. We are not forced to empathize with the characters (we are forced to play as them, and that’s a complete different thing) we decide to feel or not empathy. Whatever our decision is, the finale wants you to understand that you are not forced to forgive to heal. It matters how much you suffered, but you may choose what you think is better for you and in this case we decided to be different from the antagonist, we lost everything, just like her. La historia en si la veo digamos con mucha coincidencia puesto a que derrepente da la casualidad que Abby se encuentra con la persona que le tenía el mayor rencor, en cuestión de la muerte de Joel es igual fue mera coincidencia su encuentro con Abby pero digamos que podría pasar eso aceptable digamo, entonces sobre la muerte de Joeloues tenemos que saber que no es inmortal y que en este juego por más que sea el protagonista del anterior juego no es el bueno o más bien nadie del juego es el bueno ,como pasa en el mundo , simplemente quisiera que al menos se pudieran perdonar Joel y ellie, eso sí fue algo que dolió ya que cuando por fin empezaba a ir todo bien otra vez pues pasó eso que pasó , entonces con el gameplay me encantó todo , digamos que es algo realista o tiene en ciertas cosas ,por ejemplo cuando dina salvó a ellie, le dispararon y se cayó y se rompió el cristal , fue bueno el detalle que ellie se desatará con el cristal de dicha ventana , físicas también está buenas , obviamente nada del otro mundo pero si mejores que la mayoría de juegos (teniendo en cuenta que tardaron más tiempo en su creación que la mayoría de juegos que salen a cada año)gráficas igual no se si sean las mejores que se puedan en ver en consola pero se veía muy bien , ya después sobre Abby pues siento que si estuvo bien que la pusieran ya que pues nos hace ver todo de otra manera y obviamente si el juego anterior fuera de Abby pues todos quisieran matar a ellie al principio, lo único que quisiera que fuera diferente es sobre el momento en que pasamos a jugar con ella siento que ese momento todos estábamos con el odio al 100% y otros simplemente ya no quisieron jugar, otra sería al final del juego como ya no va a ver otra parte o eso supongo, que al menos tuvieras la oportunidad de matar o no a Abby , obviamente hay mucho hate por ser un exclusivo y por qué era básicamente el juego insignia de Playstation o uno de ellos, a mi me gustó ya que no es como lo típico que siempre gana el "bueno" como en las películas de Marvel, ya que la mayoría quisieran que fuera una muerte de Joel como la de Tony Stark o entre otras ,una muerte heroica, yo en verdad en cierta parte lo veo bien que fuera así excepto lo que dije anteriormente de que no se pudo disculpar, ya que en esta vida nunca sabes cuándo vas a morir y con mucha suerte podrías morir heroicamente, aparte estaban en un mundo apocalíptico con zombies, una persona que evito que el planeta entero pudiera volver a la "paz" obviamente muchas esperanzas de vivir no habría a menos que Joel sea un personaje que lo ayuda la historia ,en este caso no, me recuerda mucho a the walking dead en dos formas ,una en que este juego parece como las primeras temporadas de la serie en que la prioridad de la historia sean los humanos y peleas entre ellas ,la verdad eso pues no les gusto a muchos en la serie y pues aquí pasa lo mismo, pero se nota mucho que una vez que acabas sabes que si llega a aver una tercer parte que dudo mucho no será de humanos más bien de una cura por qué puede que Abby encuentre a los demás luciérnagas y tal vez alguien igual para encontrar la cura y al final no tener que sacrificar a ellie. Lo otro que me recuerda es a the walking dead el juego ya que el protagonista muere ,no se sacrifica ya que fue accidente que lo muerdan pero bueno.     Although the story telling is impeccable, the problem of the story is how every action led to the worst possible outcome for all parties involved. I would prefer a story of love over a story of hatred, despite that hateful desire for revenge was originated from love.

    the bad. them taking a risk on killing a most beloved character in recent memory is one bold move that took such a negative impact on their part,
    the story switched to knowing about the infected and instead switched to hating and caring and understanding about characters. they praised so much about having for you to care about these characters, but felt drastically flat. i like jesse. but he’s was killed and never mentioned again. they made you think so much about these characters but the characters they try to make don’t even care about the people surrounding the game. it was an ambitious game, but the risk was just to high for this one. they should’ve stayed with short story with a multiplayer.    … Expand

The combat system seemed a bit better and refreshing from the first one. The thing that killed it for me was the story, it seemed to lose it's way and kinda jumped all over the place and tried to force a narrative that really had nothing to do with what made the game great in the first place. Overall if you don't mind a mind numbing story and the game doing beloved characters wrong then I think you will enjoy a beautiful world with with great back ground lore and a refreshing fun combat system.… Expand

    I would score the game 9/10, however I have completely different view on the game. I think the strongest point of TLOU2 is the story, and ability to understand two sides of conflict. On another hand I did not like the graphic and repetitive stealth killing. Wazzup!

Such a prominent release being brave enough to embody inclusiveness is obviously a respectable thing. So my rating is back up to a 5. That said, there are legitimate reasons for which many of us are disappointed with this game. Certain narrative/design decisions, while I understand to what they are aimed (those who condescend to people for not 'getting it' are just as annoying as those who generalize the majority for aspects of the minority), ultimately feel like punishment for anticipating this game for so long. And yeah, giving away those decisions in marketing would spoil things, but selling people the game they wanted, while providing something very different, is...not good. So all I'm saying in terms of understanding that it's ok to not like this game, is don't lump everyone who is disappointed into the category of the pejorative: 'hater.' Most of the people who are disappointed in this game are disappointed for legitimate reasons. Sorry but if you in your right mind give this glorified MOVIE a 10/10 you need your head checked. Lets not even get into how bad the story is compared to the first (the first few hours is literally spent watching a dating rom com) or how the game completely and pointlessly **** on a beloved character or the lackluster ending. No lets forget all that for a minute. It's just NOT a fun game to play, at all. It's a glorified interactive movie. Listen Druckmann, get you a deal with Netflix, and make a full fledged tv show/film it's clearly what you really want to do. It seems like the more advanced consoles are becoming, the less games are being games. If this is what PS5 has to offer, all the games just being walking simulators, then my hype has died down a bit. Find a new formula Sony. Every game being a movie is getting tiresome and old. I don't even feel I need to even talk about the plot, it's not even worthy of mentioning. I will just go on pretending this game never happened, erasing from my memory and only considering the original canon. Way to take a solid game, and completely **** on it's legacy. 10 years from now we could have all looked back at the original TLOU as a great quality game. Now everytime people look back, they will just remember how trash it's sequel was, great job Naughty Dog. Can't say i'm surprised though. ND first started dropping the ball with Uncharted 4, then it's spinoff. I guess we should have expected this. The only reason i'm even giving this game a 4 is because of it's good animations.     A fantastic game and a worthy successor to the legacy left behind by the first. I enjoyed every minute, especially the unique twists and turns the game took particularly with character direction.

    Very disappointed to see that the fans weren't willing to accept the unique route ND went with in this game. I hope it doesn't discourage them and other studios from doing the same in the future.

There were intense moments when I wanted this game to be over, or that something that was about to happen wouldn't. I felt emotionally drained at times and struggled to sleep when I played it too late.

    However, I knew I was going to play to the end. I may never play it again but it will make all other games pale in comparison. Without being too over the top, it is more than a game. It shows the potential for what games can accomplish, in a more impactful way than other media. I can't spoil it for you but it is truly innovative in the way it confronts you with its story. I've literally just finished so need time to process. But Naughty Dog have excelled themselves and brought the PS4 to a high point.    … Expand

    The game deviates from the very essence of the first game. What they have made to the character is unacceptable. Plot is very weakly written and its only made to support their agenda. Only positives in this game is the gameplay elements and graphics which gives the glimpse of next-gen. Naughty Dog needs a redeem themselves l.

The game makes you care about the character and their state of minds and does not allow you to simply think in black and white patterns of protagonists and antagonists. This game, like none ever before, makes you walk in your "enemies' shoes" to show you both sides of the coin. Ellie's vendetta takes you deep into her cracked and traumatised ego and lets you care for her. But the price to guide her through her walk of revenge is to enforce you an understanding that not all enemies are random murderers. They're troubled, cracked and traumatised beings, too. And just as Ellie cares deeply for Dina, the antagonists, too, are human beings and have someone they deeply care for and are human beings lashing out due to their grieve. This is a story so masterfully told it deserves Game of the Year and, check that, possibly Game of the Decade.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. this game is **** amazing! it gets across the point the developers and writers were trying to achieve with the cycle of violence being broken through both ellie and abby (both in their own ways and along their own timeline). they way that each timeline intertwines is absolutely thrilling and such good attention to the way the game works, as well as the story overall. It’s incredibly captivating and takes the players on an emotional journey, which proves to be one of the best i’ve ever played, at the conclusion of the game when all the emotions rush back in and are re-emphasised. Many people may not like how the game ended because you spend this whole time fighting people only to not achieve what would be perceived as the main goal, and that is a valid thought, however if that’s all you take away from the game then i’m sorry but you fail to see what it really is trying to achieve because, like mentioned earlier, the goal was to END this cycle of violence. the ending proves to show ellie’s contempt nature and how she has come to terms with both hers actions and joel’s as she is finally able to move on from this hate and revenge and attempt to live a somewhat normal-we life to what she had been. Now back to joel’s death, yes i do think it could’ve been better detailed and more stretched out as he was such a beloved character, although i think his death overall shows his growth and how he acknowledges the wrongs he has done and he doesn’t really need anything more in his life because he was ok with how most things played out. So overall, i think it’s a really **** good game if your able to understand the depths, themes and emotions which are meant to be instilled and evoked. Solid work !… Expand

    Is not a perfect game, but i have to say: is one of the best game of this generation, is like 2 videogames in one and i like how show two diferent perspective of what we consider bad guys, is a beauty and great game.

    Para mi, que fui fan, amante de la primera entrega, y que lo jugue y aun juego sin fin de veces, este juego esta muy fresco, la historia me gusto, el gameplay, cada escena emotiva como frustrante me mantuvieron enganchado , las mecanicas del juego se mantienen como el primero pero agregaron innovadoras , para mi y mis gustos este como el primero sale 10/10.

    The new writer is either a social outcast or a lunatic that hasn't interacted with people before - characters constantly do things that make no logical sense, the story goes from modertaly servicable to downright    Really bad writing.     Sony has done every attempt to mask the games flaws. The writer of this games is a comp science major, which probably explains the psychopathic behaviours of the characters we knew and loved.
    Gameplay and visuals were okay, an upgrade but nothing to write home about. Facial emotions and expressions are done very well. The only redeeming aspect of this game would be the accessibility options, it's got a ton almost enough to be complain about. Save your cash and watcha playthrough if you are interested in experiencing the story for yourself, but be warned, a high schooler could've come up with a better story than this,    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
