    All the spoilers where true, avoid this trash like the plague.

    The cut-scenes are photo realistic awfulness, who on earth wanted this as a sequel ?.

    The original is a masterpiece, this makes it obvious Sony is the same dead duck that all modern A+ game companies have become, allowing Naughty Dog to make this and putting there name too it. Just sad.

    Игра влетела с двух ног в моё сердце и останется там навсегда!!! Для меня это абсолютная игра поколения PS4 и глупо оценивать её по 10-ти бальной шкале. Вряд ли в ближайшее время у кого-то получится сделать настолько пробирающую на эмоции игру. Блин, тут понятие «игра» носит другой характер: в игры играют дети, а в эту... взрослые люди с уже состоявшимся мнением, личным опытом и своими взглядами на жизнь в целом. Некоторые сцены, хотя нет, целые главы, настолько круто срежиссированы, что в какой-то момент мне пришла в голову мысль: «Хочу оказаться там, на её месте, и плевать, что вокруг разрушенный мир, а за каждым углом поджидает смертельная опасность»!
    Я полностью согласен со всеми поступками главных героев (игровых персонажей) и их спутников. Будь я на их месте, то поступил бы точно так же, не колеблясь ни секунды!

    Отдельно хочу сказать про звук: несколько раз брал приставку в студию и устраивал там ночные игровые сессии. Так вот, мои акустические системы позволяют выставить так называемую «референсную громкость». При её выставлении я ориентировался на человеческую речь: в настройках игры есть параметр «динамический диапазон» – естественно, в положении «максимальный». И вот когда я первый раз наткнулся на группу враждебных солдат, тут-то и открылись все прелести перестрелок в игре (которые и без этого шикарны)!

    – Выстрел из дробовика в заброшенном железном гараже отозвался жалящим звоном в ушах, чуть геймпад не выронил из рук, но времени на растерянность нет: теперь все противники знали моё местоположение.
    Поставив взрывную ловушку, я ринулся в ближайшие заросли и замер: противник уже в паре метров от меня, ещё один шаг и происходит взрыв!!!
    Опять звон в ушах, уже не только у меня, но и у моей героини!
    Ааа, адреналин зашкаливает: и страшно, и жутко, но при этом не покидает чувство восхищения от происходящего. Люди, чьих друзей я только что убил, орут, надрывая голос от скорби и злости, выкрикивая имена павших товарищей, и с ещё большей яростью преследуют меня!
    Геймпад мокрый, руки дрожат, секундная паника, смерть...

    Следом экран с советами и кнопка продолжить.

    П.С. В дальнейшем я семь раз думал прежде чем выстрелить и обнаружить себя!

    П.П.С. Играл на обычной версии PS4. Обязательно пройду игру вновь на консоли следующего поколения!    … Expand

    Infelizmente muitos youtubers tão passando pano pro jogo, só pq pegou antes ... vamo falar a vdd .. história muito lixo.. o final vai ser decepção pra todos... jogo cheio de bug .. se fosse Ubsoft muita gente já tava xingando é era cancelado . o primeiro foi foda mais pra mim esse foi o final. ainda querem fazer o terceiro kkkkkkkkkkk

    i just finished the game and, there is really nothing i can say the score and numbers speaks for it self ,the last of us part1 was amazing and i love it but this one it is actually just a video game filled with agenda

    Game graphics feel like an out of date game ,background setting glitches very often .Also no multiplayer .

    Was the longest 27 hours of my life, 27 hours I will never get back. This game doesn’t have the emotional investment of the first game, neither the writing quality!! The plot doesn’t make any sense. It’s feel like naughty dogs sacrifice the main lead of the first game for LGBTQ+ inclusion. Well, wasn’t a good representation after all. Ellie didn’t have a moral compass what so ever like in the first game, a Big shift I may add. She was the innocent factor in the last of us 2013, now she is just a strong and powerful woman that nothing can stop her killing spree?

    Жестокость ради жестокости, заезженный и предсказуемый сюжет. Неинтересные и пресные персонажи, в историю которых даже вникать не хочется. Уже после 5 часов прохождения так и тянет закрыть игру, удалить её и забыть, как страшный сон. Игра просто скучная.
    Локации хоть и красивые, но уж слишком большие, их становится неинтересно исследовать. Муторно. Ну, там прополз, нашёл бумажку для подтирки. Клёво. Слишком мало возможностей. В первой части была прелесть в том, что там не такие большие локации, там было уютно.
    Я ожидала от игры чего угодно, но явно не тупые бабские разборки, секс и скатывания характеров персонажей на дно. Помните Джоэла из первой части? Суровый мужик, который никому не доверяет и выживает в условиях апокалипсиса. Что с ним произошло во второй части? Доверился незнакомому человеку, пошёл за ним, представился и просто стоял, ждал, пока ему пустят разряд в ногу. Он выглядел как типичный персонаж, который просто должен был сдохнуть. Очень по-идиотски слили персонажа. Во всех смыслах. Сделали глупым доверчивым старичком, пустив под откос все его прошлое, когда он был охотником и когда был контрабандистом.
    Лучше бы вторая часть не выходила вовсе. Она пустила под откос всю историю, превратившись в пропаганду ЛГБТ и феминизма. Не такого продолжения я ждала. Я ненавижу эту игру. Столько лет ожиданий псу под хвост...    … Expand

    Overall, a good game. Complex story but understandable as story progress. Hated Abby for killing Joel but eventually got to concur why she did. A masterpiece highlighting the cycle of violence and why Ellie had to forgive Abby to break that.

    First off I would like to say, this game is technically very impressive. Not only are the graphics and sound top notch, the production values are off the charts. Which was to be expected from a first party studio. Not only that, even the new character animations and rigging are also excellent. As for the controls themselves, this game hasn't changed much since the first LOU. However, the writing and storytelling are quite frankly just terrible. You can't build characters over the course of an entire game, and then just for the purpose of clunky storytelling, have them act in a manner that is completely contrary to their personality as we know it. It's so bad, that the game is just hard to play, and at times you just have to turn it off. And without getting into spoiler territory I will juist say, the ending is atrocious. Anyway I don't see any need to drag this review out any further than necessary. Because this game is so technically impressive, I would give it probably an 9.5 out of 10, based solely on the graphics and sound. However, the controls and mechanics begin to become a drag pretty quickly. Being a story based game, where the storytelling and narrative are such an important aspect of the game, that is what really brings the score on this down for me. I would literally give the story a 2 out of 10. If you really enjoy the basic mechanics of this game, and you are not invested at all in the world building or characters int this game, then you might get more enjoyment out of this. Or if you've never played the first game, these problems may not seem as obvious. I feel ok giving this game a 5 out of 10, again, because the game is so technically impressive in some areas. Despite the narrative flaws I find in this game. I've tried to go into this and be as objective as I can. For everybody review bombing this, quite frankly I think the game is more than a 0 to 2. That's is a bit disrespectful, and disingenuous. Perhaps it is also a bit disrespectful the way they chose to treat their established characters in this story. As I stated before, if you are not at all invested in this story or characters, this game might be a 6 to an 8 for some people, based purely on it's technical achievements.     Eu não ligo pra história de um NPC, muito menos tenho pena, joguei essas quase 30 hrs pra vingar o Joel, o jogo me tirou esse direito! Naughty Dog vocês são horríveis!

    Just finished the game and I gotta say that it feels soulless and dull.

    The mechanics are ok, but that's it, the story feels empty and pointless and the characters are just a little more interesting than a cardboard cut.

Never have I hated a player character so much! There are a whole lot other flaws, but this was the main one for me. The worst part is that it tarnishes what the first game built upon, so it's been replaced as my all time favorite now. This is just sad.… Expand

    Been a naughty dog fan since uncharted 1. Loved the last of us 1. I was waiting excitedly for the follow up. Unfortunately they ruined the story and I will now pretend the last of us part 2 doesn’t exist. It does however have pretty graphics though so a 1 instead of 0. I hope naughty dog gets out of this rut or they hand off the uncharted series to a game studio that will do it justice.

    If you liked the first game, you'll hate this one. If you haven't played the first game then the only reason you might want to play this one is if you're a masochist or if you want to support a really bad game developer that mistreats its fans very badly.

    The graphics are great as expected.

Complete and utter rubbish and an insult, I stayed away from the leaks that ND said was not true and guess what everything about the leaks that I have now read are true. Sony and ND lied to everyone and they just don't care, Neil Druckman even has a collectors card in the game that I found where he awards himself 100 for intelligence.

    This game butchers the LORE for TLOU universe, Joel, Tommy and Ellie are like completely different people.

    The animations on the characters are just weird especially when walking in a scripted section, that GTA5 speed up and slow down is present even tho people swore it wasn't.

    Game play is no different from the first outing, there is nothing new going on and lots and lots of boring fillers to pad the fact out there is no story, no engaging story anyway.

    Neil Druckman said ND wants to shock the audience do things different do what other studios don't, other studios don't do this because this NDs approach and story telling this time does not work.

    The death of Joel is a complete insult not just that this nobody who is so wooden and boring kills him, but that it's out of your hands and whole thing is a cutscene, oh and Abbeys BF spits on Joels corpse that's the BF who is Druckmans double.

    The sex scene i'm still haunted about as it is just weird!

    I could go on but there is no point, Sony and ND are dead to me, they have lied in the build up to release and completely insulted a loyal fan base that had seven years invested.

    Especially in 2020 gaming is good to escape reality especially with lockdown and all the misery in the world, this game will just make you feel worse with it's hard left agenda, within the first ten minutes the word bigot is thrown around, Sony and ND are big on double standards and their behaviour to any criticism with certain Youtubers that called them out is outrageous.

    Anyway i'm ranting but i'm burned, oh and if any of the journos that found fault but still awarded a 10/10 your dead to me, any wonder why people go off the user reviews on here and tomatoes these days, journos award 10/10 out of fear so the left don't go after them, lose their job and get called a Nazi for not agreeing.    … Expand

    - I enjoyed the atmosphere from time to time but as I said it was getting boring for me and other viewers.
    - Game play itself is nothing new. Stupid AI. Hard to move around. No new features were introduced since the first game. I shall remind you - it was 7 years ago, and this is 3A game.
    - PLOT. Classic revenge plot. Badly executed. If you would like to play a game with a similar scenerio check out Far Cry 3 - amazing game, still to this day. They knew how to handle this kind of story.
    Naughtydawg tho.... Not only they ruined what people loved in the first game but delivered poiontless game in which how it turns out you can't alteret evens in one bit.    … Expand

Once I got that out of the way, I went ahead and got the game on release. I started playing it with very critical eyes. I was prepared to hate the characters and the direction. Instead, I was disarmed and won over, a couple hours in. The performances and writing was masterful. I was instantly enthralled by the world I was thrown into. I had a lot of reservations about Abbey, until the last 10 hours of the game. I was pleasantly surprised by how it manages to shift your opinion of a woman who you are geared up for hating. A character that from the very beginning, is seen as a villain. You feel like a pendulum of emotions, as the game grinds to it's very emotional finale. I felt my own morale compass being put into question, as I felt guilty for siding with one character to the next. It was the kind of inward thinking that no game has ever evoked in me. And it's because of this, it's an undeniable masterpiece.

    This game without a doubt, has the most intense and exciting gameplay I've ever enjoyed. It manages to make you feel vulnerable and powerless, while giving you about a hundred different ways to kill enemies. When you get a killing streak, with near perfect flow, it can be the most satisfying thing. It reminds me of Hotline Miami and the brutal, fast paced decisions you have to make, while running through an arena of enemies. The crafting and looting are almost identical to the first game, with a bit more depth. I have to admit, looting is not my favourite thing to do in any game, but it feels necessary in this case.

    I've played a lot of games through out the years and this one will probably stick with me for a long time. It's easily one of the best games I've ever played and I can't wait to jump back in for a second play though. My advice is to play this game, knowing as little as possible about it. Ignore the haters and enjoy this game for what it is! The PS4 was made for this game.    … Expand

    You're honestly deluded if you think this is a bad game. Giving it a 1? Pathetic.

    It was a rollercoaster and it was amazing. Kept me guessing the whole time and I didn't know at what point the game was going to end.

    Frankly this is the worst game I have played. This game undoes everything you do in the first game while character assassinating Joel and Ellie.It tries to make you feel guilty for things the game forces you to do which is laughable. There is so much more to this terrible game but I dont even want to relive it. 0/10 Not a masterpiece.

To think this garbage story came from a AAA game company is laughable. Instead of a cohesive story and fun game play, we get non-stop pandering to certain agendas thrown in with awkward pacing and zero character development. They even decided to kill off fan favorite characters; characters who they featured in trailers and through deceptive marketing tactics made it seem like they were going to be a large part of the story. I've played games for decades. This is one of the worst stories I have had to experience to date. I am pissed I cannot get my money back from this abomination. I would have rather used my $60 to wipe my butt and then flush it down the toilet; I would have gotten more satisfaction from that. I'm an idiot for not looking at leaks before playing this game. Shame on me for trusty Naughty Dog. This will probably be the last Naughty Dog game I ever spend money on.… Expand

Also they try to push their agenda in the game. Thank you for that Neil Druckmann and Anita Sarkeesian. I hope you and the "new" Naughty Dog get fired and the old team come back. The gameplay was just the same and there's nothing really innovative in this game. Only some great evolutions in combat, i would say. The gun fight is a bit clunky for me. And i found several bugs in my 25 hours of playing, which is really annoying.

    And this game's selling point is THE STORY... IT'S BY FAR THE WORST STORY I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED IN GAMING HISTORY. It's like a big middle finger to the fans of the first game! If you messed up your story in a story-driven game, the entire game will be ruined, no matter how good the gameplay and graphic is. And it's just your basic fan-fiction level of writing. The ending is very unfulfilling and terrible. Fails so hard because Neil really trying too hard to make this game different than the first game.

    And there's no likeable character here. Almost every character in this game is weak! Joel being unaware, Ellie portrayed as a cruel girl overtime, Tommy being inconsistent, Lev's back-story being unnecessary and so much more. Jesse might be the only character that i could say, decent. Lack of logic in decision making, Character's inconsistencies, forced agenda, weak build-up in their storytelling really burden this entire game.

We spend only half the game as a beloved character and the second with another who they try to make us like but fail miserably. Unnecessary sex scene to boot and a WTF ending that’s just... woof. We don’t have sympathy for Abby and they try repeatedly to show that Abby is “good” and Ellie is “bad”, when nobody is buying that. They both leave a ton of carnage in their wake and then.... unsatisfying ending to say the least.… Expand

    What can I say, there is nothing interesting about the game. What made The Last of Us so memorable was the beautiful story between Joe and Ellie, and it sucks that they threw everything away.     An innecessary sequel, in past years, many people said how the last of us wasn´t need a sequel because all the circle of his story end, but with this second part, the game tried to give us some emotions with Abby(the real protagonist and principal character of the game) and that was the principal fail.

I wanted to see how Ellie had changed in the time since we last saw her and the first few hours give me that and I wish the game had stayed with her but instead the rug is pulled out from under us and we are forced to play as an antagonist that we as Ellie are supposed to be hunting down for what she did to Joel. Years of waiting and for nothing but disappointment from a development team I love.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
