    One of the best game I’ve played in years! I stayed away from any spoilers and leaks prior to playing and have certainly benefited from doing so. Very unfortunate that this game is getting review bombed from people who haven’t put in the time and effort that such an emotional journey requires.

    With Part II, Naughty Dog has outdone himself with some of the most meticulously determined levels and environments I've ever seen in a game.
    The story is extremely good. If it allows you to get involved from start to finish, like in a movie, it leaves you in shock. What game in history has never been achieved. Of graphics I do not tell you, look at it! And    The best PS4 game of 2020.

    Un juego excelente en CASI todas las categorías, buenos gráficos y gameplay exquisito que retoma y mejora mucho del primer juego, simplemente hubiese preferido otra historia o una mejor contada y estructurada y no algo forzada
    Pero de igual manera fue una buena historia con un buen enfoque.

    The game had a really good way of establishing that, in the World of the last of us, there are no bad guys or good guys, theres Just preople trying to sur vive, hence, the ending.     So far its the best game. The writer is very smart till a point where he controls your emotions toward any character! Gameplay + graphics + sound effects are insane.

    I do no get how this game is a political statement. If you think it is, it’s you, not the game. This game makes a message alright. But that of what it is to be human. What happens when two sides of the story get revealed. That’s all. This game is a masterpiece.

    I never wanted a sequel to The Last of Us. I feared any sequel would merely be a heartless attempt to cash in on the first game, designed to please everyone. I put this against any post apocalyptic revenge tale in any genre. The gameplay, the graphics, the challenge set inside a story this compelling, mature and engrossing isJust Finish the game.     What a beautiful game, full of incredible landscapes, realistic and brutal combat, and complex emotional turmoil. There aren't enough words to capture the epic details of this experience and I can only implore you to experience it for yourselves. Huge thanks to everyone involved in this masterpiece I will certainly be replaying this game over and over in the years to come!

    I like it, it's a greate game, with it's faliures (there's not a perfect game). Maybe it has its holes in the plot, like every game, even books I know until now. I believe this is not enough to say they're not marvelous (games and books).     Well, after resetting this masterpiece, I'm sad but the game is indeed perfect !! It's a story full of emotions, I cried a lot of times ... I got scared and I was afraid too. It addresses important topics in a way that I loved, it shows taboos about religious visions ... and it was in such a well inserted way, for I flowed naturally as some things were normalized (it didn't flow for thoseWell, after resetting this masterpiece, I'm sad but the game is indeed perfect !! It's a story full of emotions, I cried a lot of times ... I got scared and I was afraid too. The cycle of events and the main motivation of the characters closes perfectly and shows that in this world there is no side of good or side of evil. .. Everybody is a human being trying to survive ... The end took me out of sadness, but as there is a gap I am imagining that the following events would be good! I loved the protagonists, especially Abby, finally a game with feminine protagonism where the woman breaks zombie in the punch, survives and does great things without having to be sexualized. Good for those who did not like the story of the two one: 1 prejudiced little **** 2 does not enjoy stories focused on feelings and that do not have infallible protagonism and a happy or pleasant ending. and a grand finale, that things always work out for the guy, but surprise, that doesn't happen in an apocalyptic world of humans. The graphic is excellent, soundtrack idem. I only had about 4 bugs during the whole game and only one was hideous and made me reload !! 10/10… Expand

You have to play this game not being followed by the idea that the protagonist (Ellie) is always going to win and act like a killer

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game nearly broke me. I was so conflicted while playing. I couldn’t abide by the anger and revenge Ellie wouldn’t let go of. I was so livid having to start again as Abby. And overall it was just so **** harrowing and sad. I snot-cried at the end. But I FELT that emotion so many times throughout. Tension, excitement, glee, happiness, sadness, frustration, fear, sweetness. I went through all those emotions and more. I couldn’t wait to see what was next. And I loved the risks in storytelling. I loved the women protagonists kicking ass. I loved the Scars whistling. I loved the lush environment. I loved the gameplay and stealth (OMG did I love the stealth mechanics). Would have been fun to film myself for my gleeful reactions to vicious sneaky stealth kills and then right after I’m upset that I had to smash Nora and audibly yelling “STOP ELLIE I don’t want to do this” at the final fight with Abby. Clearly, this game worked and it really got to me. It’s a masterpiece.

    Incredible piece of media. One that will outlast all this wild vitriol some of the Internet is tossing at it. The two games together are some of the best media i have ever engaged with. Thanks Naughty Dog!!!    … Expand

    It think it's safe to say that this game may win GOTY and it'll be hysterical knowing that all the cry babies will have to cry some more about it online again. ♡

    This game put me on a rollercoaster! I played through the first game with my friends that have never played and it then immediately bought the second to continue our journey. My friend knew about the ending and was expecting to be infuriated only to find that we understand the story’s purpose. If you want a game that has a purpose and will teach you a lesson then this one is for you

    This game is a masterpiece. It's story and the messages it crafts through it's narrative and the gameplay are important and could not be better conveyed via any other medium. The last of us part 2 also one of the most incredible examples of worldbuilding I've had the pleasure of experiencing. The manner in which Naughty Dog has realized post apocalypse Seattle is breathtaking.

He terminado el juego y pienso que cumple con las expectativas que se tenían de el ,si bien muchos no estamos de acuerdo de cómo murió Joel,creo que es algo que tenía que haber pasado debido a las acciones del mismo en el pasado,sinceramente llegue a sentir empatía jugando la campaña de Abby,hasta tal punto en que cuando Ellie se enfrenta a ella en la playa no me dieron ganas de asesinarl.
    A mi parecer la historia del videojuego tiene un buen balance entre momentos de tensión y tranquilidad,ni se diga de los gráficos.
    En cuanto a la sexualidad de los personajes,desde el primer juego se sabía que Ellie era lesbiana,así como Bill era homosexual,no veo una razón por la cual la gente se queja de ese aspecto.
    Estaría dispuesto a jugar una tercera entrega de este título    … Expand

    For someone new to the franchise this was an incredible experience. I am moved to write this review mainly because I highly disagree with those who rate it negatively. It's not unlike getting to the top of a great mountain vista and having your teenage son berate you for making you miss their Saturday morning cartoons. There's no accounting for taste but then again a refinement of culture does echo the divine. And there is something divine about this game for me. It's beauty it's attention to detail it's immersion. It's story. A lot of feeling people put a lot of work into this and I applaud their monumental efforts and appreciate how touching it was for me to experience. I mourn the fact that so many others for whatever reason failed to appreciate this for what I can only assume is a lack of depth empathy and intellect. I can maybe see where people were thrown off but again it seems to me to be just poor taste. The metaphor that comes to mind would be taking someone on a roller coaster ride and having them complain about the ups and downs and the fear they felt. While the reasoning is valid it is simply a failure to appreciate something that is wonderful to behold and to experience if one has an open and undefiled mental state. And the fact that so many people are playing this game and reviewing it seems to bespeak an underlying lack of awareness on the part of those giving it such negative reviews. Perhaps they like it more than they are even aware but for a few key ingredients that they are stuck on which didn't go as they wanted which would have made it a pretty white bread sequel in all honesty. In any case good art is appreciated and celebrated in its time by the masses but great art often goes undetected or is even ridiculed except for a select few. The fact that this game is so hype and so hated by so many may actually be a credit. Truly though it is a credit unto itself. One does not need to read the reviews to know it one simply has to play the game. And for people who aren't gamers cinephiles perhaps would marvel at what could be done with the medium. For this game truly played like a movie like a long uninterrupted epic with themes and motifs and tropes and the like. Maybe someday in the future they will have high school or even college age students play this game and its predecessor like you might read a book for a liberal arts class. For that is what this ultimately is - a genre defining work of art. I hope people come around to it and replay it for it is definitely as good if not better on the second playthrough.     It's a 25-30 hours game + 10 hours of cut scenes. This game had some VERY intense game play and jump scares. But nothing beats the deep story and messages in it. I loved every minute of it. Any fan of brutal fun extreme violence will have a blast playing this. Definitely not meant for children or people with low IQ.

    Such a great game, The only criticism that can be made in my opinion is about how bold the story is. I believe that Tha last of Us 2 is like wearing glasses, you’ll only know if you actually like it if you try it yourself. And mine fitted perfectly. Congrats to naughty dog

    Wonderful game. I love what they've done with the fighting and mobility. The graphics, of course, are amazing. The story is incredibly exciting. I was frustrated playing as Abby, but I really enjoyed learning about her side of that life. The ending was wonderfully satisfying. The characters seemed to grow throughout the entire game. I hope they e expand and maybe develop a dlc for Tommy.

Foi o melhor jogo que joguei, chorei muito em várias partes, principalmente na morte do Joel e na luta final entre a Ellie e Abby, tava muito difícil concentrar na batalha já que tava tudo embaçado a vista. There where moments playing this game that I felt like utter **** the theater scene where you play as Abby ruined me, and the golf scene was truly brutal. And that's why this game is as good as it is, the fact that a game can make you feel this much emotion and true pain is crazy. On top of all that the gameplay is quite compelling, the stealth combat is great and the enemy AI is much more developed then most games I've ever played and the graphics are impeccable. I also love how they had the guts to kill Joel, and I find it's hilarious that so many people are mad about that, that's truly a brutal moment that many creators don't have the guts to do. On top of all that, the acting and animations in the game are incredibly well done and actors such as Ashley Johnson and Laura Bailey show incredible performances that honestly make me wish that actors like them got more recognition in the whole industry of popular media, seeing as what they do is often much more complicated than what a conventional voice actor from an animated film.

    I was shocked like everyone else in my first playthrough. But the more you get into the details like journal entries of ellie, conversations which you only listened to half of the time, it all makes kind of sense. I'm not 100% in on the ending, but it really shows the desperation such a world would create.

    The game is not "yeah lets bang em all dead cause we are the most badass survivors" and that is totally ok. There are enough other games like that out there.    … Expand

    Vivimos en la era de los ofendiditos, de la gente con piel de terciopelo y de la gente amargada por el mundo como si llevase un palo metido en el culo.
    Grandes personajes, me enamoré de todos los personajes nuevos, especialmente de ABBY Y DINA, sufrí por la muerte de Joel y de la perrita ALICE, Ellie me dejó bastante indiferente, pero todo UN JUEGAZO. Tiene mi 10 y porque no puedo ponerle más.
    La historia es espectacular, yo no vi ningún spoiler y todo me pilló de sorpresa, la muerte de Joel no me la creí hasta que vi su tumba y su casa llena de flores, me hizo llorar, me hizo odiar a Abby y a los Lobos de manera increíble, y por supuesto, después, tragarme mis propias palabras de odio cuando empecé a conocer la historia de Abby y darme cuenta que no son ni malos, ni buenos, son supervivientes, que todos tienen padres, madres, hermanos, amigos incluso aman a sus mascotas, por mucho que estas estén entrenadas para combatir y exponerse a muerte segura y es algo que hicieron aquí a posta al contrario que en su primera entrega, exponerte claramente que todos tienen su historia, no como el primero que anularon eso y ves como claramente el grupo de David son malos, son caníbales y demás cosas que te dan a entender, pero porque esta hecho así a posta, para que tengas claro quién es el bueno y el malo y estés acomodado sin un duelo interno emocional, también te das cuenta de las desigualdades que sufren ambas protagonistas en la segunda entrega y cuando estás con Ellie piensas que bien montado tienen el pueblo con sus viveros sus tiendas, sus bares y provisiones aún siendo escasas y aún teniendo a un homófobo mesero intolerante. Pero cuando manejas a Abby es cuando realmente te das cuenta de la superioridad de Los Lobos en todo prácticamente, tanto en la comunidad, como el lugar donde viven (un jodido estadio) como por supuesto en la milicia.
    Me dejaré muchas más cosas.
    Si claro no es nada progre que en primer juego haya dos lesbianas: Ellie y Riley, también un gai: Bill (el amigo de Joel) que la mitad de los personajes importantes sean personas de color: Marlene, Henry, Sam y Riley, que decidieran crear personajes femeninos independientes, fuertes y con liderazgo: Tess, María, Marlene y esta última como he dicho antes no solo es persona de color si no también líder de los luciérnagas. Que además en aquel entonces fueron (junto con Assassins Creed Syndicate) ser de los primeros juegos en incluir npcs femeninos tanto de soldados random como de infectados en este tipo de juegos.
