    Un gameplay stupendo ma contornato da una storia e delle idee così stupide e pesantemente politiche che nonostante il gameplay non posso consigliarlo.
    Inoltre è lungo, luuuungo! Più lungo dell'attesa alle poste e non più divertente ad una certa.

    Il primo aveva una storia bellissima, le pecche stavano nella ripetitività del gameplay e di alcune situazioni, qui invece abbiamo un gameplay bello, seppur ripetitivo, ma mannaggia che stupido il resto e che personaggi odiosi.
    Una storia di vendetta in cui ammazzi tutti tranne chi se lo merita, e dovremmo empatizzare con la protagonista.
    Molto meglio la seconda protagonista per coerenza, peccato che anche la sua parte sarà brutta narrativamente perché in compagnia di 2 personaggi orribili di cui uno politicamente corretto.

    Игра вызвала у меня очень много эмоций, у меня много раз были мурашки по коже, даже сейчас когда я вспоминаю об этой игре. одна из моих любимых игр.
    Сюжет очень интересный, не хуже чем в первой части, мир интересно исследовать, записки, левлдизайн, атмосфера умершего мир, всё на высшем уровне, графика на моей слимке выглядит невероятно, безумно красивый саудтрек.

    есть я так доволен игрой, тогда почему всего 8 баллов?
    как сильно я обожаю эту игру, так же сильно и ненавижу...
    вторая половина игры за эбби, это ужас.
    её мотивы мне не понятны, она выглядит как танк, мне не жаль этого персонажа, у меня нет никакого сопереживания к нему, она просто ужасна.
    к тому же, после того что она сделала, играть за неё буквально не хочется, омерзительная женщина.
    но финал игры опять даёт кучу эмоций, на которых ты уже и строишь у себя в голове вывод о том какая это игры.
    в чём сюжет собственно?
    СПОЙЛЕРЫ!
    джоэл убил отца эбби задолго до событий второй части, чтобы спасти свою дочь в виде элли, потому что под конец первой части игры, он любил её как собственную дочь, заменив сару в лице элли.
    после чего эбби начинает искать человека который убил её отца, собирает команду людей, которые хотели отомстить, отобрав жизнь у джоэла.
    они таки свершили месть на глазах у элли, после чего уже элли готовит свой план мести этим людям.
    идя по их головам по голову эбби. после чего она решает встать на путь истинный, когда эбби даёт ей шанс, понимаю во что это может перерасти. в конце концов месть забирает у элли всё и она остаётся совсем одна.    … Expand

    One word, MASTERPIECE.
    I can understand that for somebody it may be a masterpiece and others not, but there is no such thing as this game has 5.7 by users, a game that deserves a rating between 9.5 and 10.
    Maybe, MAYBE, the only "negative point" is longevity, for somebody the story may seem a bit elongated, but not for everyone.

Toda a história construída para Ellie e Joel foram abandonadas, sendo o inteligente senhor que não confia nem na própria sombra para um bobalhão e morreu de forma alheia por um erro que jamais cometeria no primeiro jogo. O jogo não é focado nos zumbis e muito menos numa gameplay, as bossfights do primeiro jogo NÃO EXISTEM na sequência, uma mecânica de tiro qualquer, nada de grande. O jogo escancaradamente segue uma óbvia pauta, obviamente, não se deve proibir os desenvolvedores de colocarem pautas atuais, só que é vergonhoso ver a história e cutscenes perdendo muita qualidade por conta de alienação ideológica. Os momentos de tensão, na sua grande maioria de vezes, é desnecessário e não inclui no desenvolvimento dos personagens ou da própria Ellie, como a morte daquela cão que a atacou depois que ela caiu da ventilação. A piada vergonhosa do sanduíche e o "Oi, eu sou o Joel, esse aqui é meu irmão Tommy" mostram como o jogo se tornou, de um clichê com um amado protagonista e uma promissora lore, para um jogo que não foca nos zumbis e apenas num relacionamento estereotipado pela mídia mainstream e pautas idiotas que acham que podem interferir nas vidas de todos… Expand

    The Last of Us part 2 is pure trash, it's a story about getting revenge against the new character Abby for killing Joel and guess what it's a revenge story with no pay off in the end. Abby gets away because revenge bad and Ellie is to weak to carry it out. For a game that acts like it's a perfect master piece it sure doesn't feel like it more like The Last of Us is an overrated pile of pig S@^&.

    This game is the next step in video game story telling. No other game has invited the player to think about the meaing of its story like this one did. Its not a flawless game but its in my eyes a masterpiece.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It's hard to recall a game that made me as emotionally invested as the last of us 2. It's all down to a narrative that can only find it's true footing in video games, as it's predecessor the plot drives the story forward but it twists it's ending via character development.

    There are a few things I can safely say before spoiling any of the story so I will just point out a few characteristics of the game:

    Naughty Dog has improved once again on it's combat mechanics, the fight and flight approach has been enhanced and it's at the core of the last of us 2 gameplay. It gives you many tools to accomplish your goals and in doing so offers players many ways to approach combat. If you enjoyed the combat in games like Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us, the combat here will feel even fresher and better.

    I don't care so much about graphics, but this game is impressive in it's presentation. It pushes PS4 to it's limit and delivers environments filled with details bringing a sense of immersion to the player. The cutscenes are impressive and they help hammer the narrative home.

    SPOILERS FROM HERE ONWARDS

    It's impossible to speak about the story without going into spoiler territory so here it goes: From the beginning of the journey you find yourself in a revenge story, one of our favourite characters in gaming history, Joel, is killed by Abby a freshly introduced character that we briefly get to play. The game then sets you and Abby down an intersecting path, where you are pitted against each other for revenge. When you finally find her the game takes a huge break to set you in the shoes of Abby, we play as her for a long time and we start to understand her a little by little.

    Thanks to the unique ways that games can tell stories, we slowly see how Abby herself starts to grow on us, we see that much like Joel she is jaded and going through the motions after experiencing grief. Through saving a couple of scars we see her humanity and start to strongly empathize with her as a character.

    I initially doubted this was going to work for me, at first I felt so much rage playing through Ellie's story, but when I was in Abby's shoes she started to slowly grow on me, from saving Lev and Yara, seeing her relationship with her dad, going to an infected zone to secure medical supplies, beating a huge monstrosity; I finally understood better the side of her story.

    At the end I didn't want Ellie or Abby to die and I wanted each one to have a good life. I felt I went through a lot emotionally and it's all thanks to an ambitious narrative that pays off.

    To some of the criticism that I've seen:

    LGBTQ+ agenda: I don't think there is a political stand on this, the game is just portraying sexuality how it is. To anyone complaining that LGBT characters are only present in the sequel, I have to remind them of Bill who is clearly gay in part 1 and the DLC also shows Ellie's story and she's always been into girls.

    Narrative: I understand those who feel like Joel death was too much, I think that is the reason that the game set you emotionally on the same revenge path as Ellie and it worked incredibly well for me. Joel death is caused by his past actions, not only killing the doc and the fireflies but also the fact that he gets softer through the story of the Last of Us, through caring for Ellie, till the point that trusting other people causes him to lose his life.

    The ending worked incredibly well for me, the fact that the plot doesn't finish with Ellie killing Abby is a a great subversion of expectation, we as players don't want to see Abbie die, and it's Joel's memories that stop her. In the end because of the fight with Abby she loses her ability to play guitar, but it's maybe what she needed in order to learn to live with the past. In a weird way it's thanks to Ellie that Abby and Lev end up surviving and we are weirdly thankful for it.    … Expand

Todo mundo esperando uma continuidade da história de Ellie e Joel e o que recebemos é este asqueroso pedaço de merda. E não tem nada a ver com preconceito com personagens LGBTQIA+ (ainda que a abordagem não pareça nem um pouco natural em um mundo pós-apocalíptico), ou por não aceitar a morte do Joel, mas sim com a maneira porca com que entregaram o jogo. Depois de tanto tempo, eu pensei que eles tinham uma ideia legal para a parte 2, aí aparecem com um plot genérico de vingança, escolhendo um parente de uma das muitas pessoas que Joel matou no primeiro jogo como protagonista? É sério? Além da história podre, o jogo não é toda essa perfeição técnica, não. Existem bugs na gameplay, a mira é MUITO sensível (mesmo ajustando), os clickers parecem te detectar de maneira aleatória, existem seres humanos com ossos largos que recebem flechadas no meio da testa e não morrem, etc. Enfim, uma fétida e grotesca obra da Naughty Dog.     For me this is an absolute masterpiece because of many things. First, graphics. It was the best game visually I ever played, all of the details are amazing. Second, history. The Last of Us 1 was extremely good and the second part was not behind. I just have to say thank to Naughty Dog for letting me have the experience of playing a game like this.     Visually? It's on another level, no one can reach it let alone exceed it. But... games aren't about graphics or else I would rather watch movies! It's the story, gameplay and characters, and the last of us part 2 was a disappointment in those aspects. No need for hidden agenda, we are here for games and fun.

    Awesome game. I was first put off by Abby, but the integration of different characters meant that they grew on me and in the end I cared about all of them. The game is long, full of incredible detail and is challenging enought to keep you on your toes. Apart from the slower start, I enjoyed it thoroughly.

    Amazing environments, animations, audio, accessibility features, pretty decent voice acting, passable gameplay mechanics. Absolutely abhorrent story & characters, the focal point of the game. Can't even begin to think how this happened, especially as a sequel to the excellent Last Of Us Part 1. Real shame.

    First of all I dont hate this game , but I dislike the direction that Naughty Dog (Neil Drugmann) did , because he literally did all that the fans didnt want in term of story and this is the mayor flaw of this game. The positives things are the gameplay that are better to his precessor in all aspects. I'm disappointed in how they chose to tell them-- In an impersonal way forcing the player to slog through hours of game play with no meaningful choice.     Not as good as the first game. The story is masterfully intertwined. You reject some story decisions at first but as you play you sympathise with all angles in this harsh brutal world. Game looks beautiful. The game pushes the boundaries of realism with in-depth reactions from the vast world, especially with the npc animations and voice lines when you are attacking them.     Desde una jugabilidad espectacular y disfrutable; a una historia llena de sorpresas, momentos de suspenso y angustia o también de alegría y felicidad, todo esto puede transcurrir en solo unos pocos segundos y que definitivamente deja atrapado al espectador.

    Historia:

    Este juego se atrevió a pisar un terreno muy peligros, destrozando algo muy significativo para los jugadores que disfrutaron enormemente (incluyéndome) la primera entrega de esta saga, lo cual genera una gran brecha en las opiniones.
    En los personal es algo original y arriesgado y el resultado final fue muy bueno, logrando una mezcla de emociones y sentimientos en los diversos personajes al entender sus situaciones.
    Talvez un punto bajo de esto es que al introducir personajes nuevos a esta entrega, esas emociones que el juego trata de que el espectador lo sienta no son tal fuertes o comprensibles como con los personajes de la entrega anterior, pero también es algo muy poco frecuente e interesante este tipo de situaciones.

    Arte:

    La música que interpreta el ambiente, los escenarios post-apocalípticos llenos de infectos, los barrios abandonados, o los diversos asentamientos de sobrevivientes, son simplemente hermosos y cautivadores.

    Gameplay:

    Probablemente la parte mas importante de un juego.
    La gran variedad de armas y mecánicas permiten distintos estilos de juego para enfrentarse con los múltiples enemigos, desde infectados espeluznantes a personas de varios asentamientos diferentes.
    puedes elegir el estilo dependiendo de los recursos disponibles o la situación en la que te encuentres.
    La inteligencia artificial de los npc's es difícil de vencer.
    La dificultad dependerá de los ajustes, puedes jugar con modificaciones como la munición infinita, o tratar de acabar el juego con solo un intento en la modalidad mas desafiante.

    para finaliza, lo malo:
    Hay algunas situaciones donde existen pequeños erros lógicos en el diseño del juego, como por ejemplo:
    - Cuando Ellie ataca a Abby cuando esta le persigue en el teatro con un bate en lugar de su escopeta.

    you enter a vast location and start your journey in secret, after killing one of the victims you may be noticed, then an action scene will begin, usually in stealth action games this is where the end of the battle begins, due to a shortage of ammunition you will not be able to kill all opponents and you will have to hide. The game gives you smooth transitions between action and stealth that many stealth action games don't have.
    The plot of the game is powerful, I can say that I liked the story and I do not see any critical disadvantages in it that completely break the game.
    Technically, the game is made superbly on PS4, there are no FPS drops and in general everything is played comfortably.

    All developed as should.
    We already knew TLOU1 Ellie, but this Ellie, she was different. She wasn't the sane person Joel tried to "make". She was reckless, driven by fury with only one goal in mind. Revenge. She had the chance to get what she wanted, twice but deep down she knew that by killing Abby she was no different. But it was too late at that point. All was lost.

    Abby started as a character meant to be hated. And she was. The first hours as Abby were a punch in the gut, as if the story tried to make fun of the love we had for Joel. But...was she right after all? Was Joel's actions really the correct ones? Or was Abby right to act the way she did. The answer lies somewhere in the middle. Her motives were right but here actions, just like Ellie's were driven by the wrong reasons. She overstepped and she ruined the lives of many people including her own. She changed however. She had the chance to kill Ellie but because of Lev, the "thing" as Isaac described him, who he saved and who, in my mind, was a mirror of TLOU1 Joel and Ellie.

    Lastly, the irony of it all. The only thing that Ellie managed was to save Abby. And that completes a perfect circle in my opinion making this game one of the best storytelling experiences.

    I can't be bothered to analyse the next part but the only negative was the gameplay. The stealth mechanics were unchanged and boring and every time I came across Scars, or Wolves, or zombies, or in the end Rattlers, the game was more of a hassle than an enjoyable experience.

    Story - 8. The biggest problem with TLOU 2’s story isn’t the non-existent “plot holes”, or it’s supposed “wokeness” (gay people exist, cope), but rather it’s pacing. The pacing of TLOU 1 is flawless. The pacing of TLOU 2 is all over the place. This is because of the dual narrative arch’s and many flashback sequences that show how Ellie’s relationship with Joel changed since the ending of the first game. As far as the actual narrative itself though, it’s strong. Like tlou 1 the premise is simple, but it’s the characters that give the story depth. The way they emote, the way they say one thing and do another, they way can convey so much with just subtle glances. Tlou 1 did all these things before very well, and tlou 2 follows suit.

    Gameplay - 10. Massive improvement over part one. Anyone who says they are the same is being intellectually dishonest or wearing rose tinted goggles. Part 1 feels very dated in all aspects except story at this point, it’s nearly 9 years old. The ability to break glass, go prone, and jump coupled with open ended arenas is a big improvement over the first game. You can disagree, but you’re wrong.

    Final score: 9. Beat it twice, probs gonna go for a 3rd run when tlou part 1 is released.    … Expand

What started out as disappointing for me with the way Joel was handled and his demise, came round full circle at the end and left me feeling sad but pleased with how the story rounded out. This game is an emotional rollercoaster, there really is no other way to describe it and only at the end do you get the full picture. It's method of storytelling is creative, captivating and haunting all at the same time. The world Naughty Dog have created feels so real and terrifying. I finished wanting more, the way any great story should. I was hoping for a happy end for Ellie, I hope she returns to Jackson and finds what she is looking for.     It tears it all down to build it back up again. I understand some people don't like the fact that Joel died, but the previous story was done.
    This was a great continuation of the characters story, and the addition of Abby makes you see that the way we've been shown it's not the only way, and the same story always has two sides, both of them right in this case.
    Wonderfully crafted, it makes you care about the 'bad one'. If you're one of those who doesn't like playing as Abby because she killed Joel, push trough the initial uneasiness and you will see that she is also a victim as much as Ellie.    … Expand

    I want to start off that I was never a big fan of the original game's gameplay. I found it a bit dull and repetitive and it never really made me want to play it again. I only played my second play through recently so that I could have the storyline fresh in my mind before playing part II. The story on the other hand was very well done. It gets really boring when 40% of your gameplay is scrounging for supplies. I also think they should have had more development with the monsters. Whenever they stuck with that it was scary, tense, and fun. I think the most fun I had with the gameplay was fighting that big monster. It was different and it caught me by surprise. Fighting mostly humans got boring quickly.

    Graphics/Sound

    Graphically the game looks amazing. There is a cutscene where it shows Abby waking up and it looked so real I thought it was a video. I also like realistic violent animations they added. A lot of people complained about that but I loved it. I also loved the little touches of humanity they sprinkled in such as people yelling their comrade's name when they died or when Ellie sneaks a stealth kill and she whispers things like "Got you f**ker!" I chuckled every time after a kill when Ellie would say something like, "Dick!" . LOL It was so Ellie, I loved it. The sound of people gurgling and choking on their own blood as you sliced their throats, it was so creepy and awesome. Job well done on that front. The music was great and the guitar playing was also a nice touch.

    Acting

    Top-notch as expected. All of the actors involved are triple A VO and they even had Jeffery Wright who is a triple A Hollywood actor in a bit part. I thought that was cool.

    Story

    This is where the game falters, I think. The overall story and morale were good it was just executed quite poorly. A lot of the mistakes made by the characters were just so strange it made it hard for people to believe it. Even though I loved playing as Abby it just didn't feel right switching over to her character when you reached the crescendo with Ellie. I heard someone else say it might have been better if they alternated chapters and I agree. I think that would have worked. I also think they were quite heavy-handed with the debbie downers (depressing aspects). It's like the game's main mission was to make you feel as miserable as possible. I like a sad story but this was just a bit over the top.

    Conclusion

    Mediocre gameplay with little improvement from 8 years ago (which wasn't that great to begin with) coupled with a flawed narrative, plants this game firmly in Meh-sville.

It offers amazing combat, intricately detailed and beautiful graphics, and a very fluent gameplay. The game offers an extremely realistic experience, especially when played on grounded difficulty; zombies can hear you when you are near enough if you reload guns or if you open your backpack. The game brings a very dark mood, which in turn creates a fantastic dynamic for the revenge that Ellie is seeking. The game brings constant tension and keeps you intrigued at all times. It has been illustrated very clearly that naughty dog have worked very hard to bring insane details in graphics as well as each room in the game. It seems many people give overwhelmingly negative reviews just because they are in their feelings as Joel dies. As a big last of us fan, it killed me inside to see Joel die. However, I am smart enough to be objective and at least have the mental capacity to understand that naughty dog let Joel die for a strong reason. They wanted gamers to experience a crazy rollercoaster of emotions. They wanted you to feel the anger that Ellie is feeling. As a sympathetic person, I was able to let go of the anger once I played as Abby. The 10 hours of playing as Abby allows us to gain sympathy for her as we experience the terror she goes through during the 3 days as well as the trauma of her father’s death. To be frank, there are 2 segments of the game that I would have loved to have been different; 1.) I wish we would get considerably more hours of gameplay as Ellie, and 2.) I would have preferred to only play as ellie and Joel, but I believe it would have not been as much of an emotional and thrilling gameplay. To conclude, I recommend this game to anyone who is willing to have a holistic and objective approach. I truly believe this is the most amazing experience that any current game offers in terms of emotions, tension, and excitement.… Expand

    Everything about Last of Us 2 was crisp, immersive, and delightful. The Last of Us series is my favorite implementation of the survival horror post apocalyptic genre. The acting, the controls, the ambience, and the story are all 10/10. Would recommend this game to anyone.

A main character dying, strong emotions, villain being more human and understandable instead of “Muahaha” personality, bad unwanted unfortunate things happening like real life, not all happy, no over the top unrealistic hero personalities from the characters you love. All these original things we get, unlike most movies, tv show, and video games. We got something new. I was finally not bored and didn’t feel like I’ve seen this 1,000 times in every other thing I’ve watched and played. This was amazing, but unfortunately it looks like people like cliché. I might be wrong about that, but it’s the feeling I get when I see all the hate. I cannot stand all the new politics being shoved down my throat, in everything I watch and play now a days…but honestly, this didn’t feel that way.     Finally after a break from my usual gaming time, I felt ready to enter the post apocalyptic world of Last of Us once again. I had played the first title twice before, first time back in 2013, on PS3, blew my mind (and I'm sure everyone else's too) never have anyone ever experienced anything like that before (and then second time the Remastered edition on PS4).

    Now on Jan, 2022 I have just finished Part 2 (I couldn't put the controller down), oh man! What a crazy ride! The game is definitely one of the greatest games of our generation. A pure masterpiece and a masterfully crafted, visually stunning piece of magnum opus novel-esque gaming experience to have and to your surprise it leaves you thinking and pondering afterwards.

    No doubt, Neil Druckmann, is a master storyteller, and one of the volcanic persons in todays gaming industry (Good news that Neil is currently working on his upcoming live action directorial debut "The Last of Us" TV adaptation form HBO). Gustavo Santaolalla's music just adds another dimensional layer to the story.

    The story's dark emotional arcs leave you dry and devastated, while the enthralling gameplay, cinematically detailed rich and lush level designs, bone-chilling action sequences, massive scale of film like set-pieces will surely give you goosebumps.

They both killed each other's "Dads" I guess, but they both lost their partners, family, friends & peace... not to mention that Ellie loses her fingers so she's unable to play the guitar the way she could.

    I guess the point was to enlighten us on the topic of empathy, but here's the thing... we play video games to escape reality in a safe, healthy & entertaining manner. After I finished this game, I was genuinely depressed, I didn't feel to play anything after that... Fast forward 2 years later, I decided to play again but this time I had a "better" take on it. I appreciated the gameplay, the graphics, I noticed the amount of effort that went into making this game. This game is extremely well made & it plays so much better than the first one. The AI are almost impossible on grounded mode... But I also realised something else, there is no other game that can do what this game has done for me... the amount of rage that I felt for characters in a game cannot be replicated, so Naughtydog really knows how to "tickle" your emotions. If I never played it a second time, I would have probably given it a 4... it loses points for Joel's death but I think it deserves a 8 (extra points for adding Permadeath.) I think it all boils down to personal preference, but in my opinion... overall fantastic work Naughtydog/Sony, but story-wise, I think it could've been better told. I also like dark stuff, but I would like to see the person I've bonded with get to live & preferably not play as the person I want to kill. P.S. I'm currently trying to get the grounded trophy. It's very difficult, you should play through couple times to get all the other trophies before attempting this.    … Expand

The narrative was always emotionally compelling, and the emotional roller coaster was intense, heartbreaking, and enlightening. But, it failed to achieve for me what the game was trying to do. The immense complexity and depth of the characters was clearly evident, however the story tended to cut corners in unsatisfying and seemingly lazy ways. The biggest failure was the pacing. The narrative tried to achieve parallel plot structure but chose to go down both narratives one at a time instead of neck and neck, even playing sections of the game in the past which eliminated a sense of surprise in coming events. The verdict; The Last of Us Part II challenged me emotionally and followed a mostly satisfying narrative supported by incredible gameplay, but the narrative shortcomings and very poor pacing tainted the experience. Play the Last of Us Part I first, and then I implore you to experience Part II and come to your own conclusion.… Expand

    Top notch graphics, animations, AI Level design is good, but I think could have been better if there were more semi open world design and be able to freely travel into some of the sections, as majority of game is in same areas Cons: Narrative is not well written, bad pacing, lots of flashbacks and jumbled story    Pros:

The reason users give the game such a low rank is just, because they couldn't really undestand Joels character. He is no Hero and no Villan.He is an anti-Hero.     This game was review bombed to hell and back for no good reason, despite the controversial plot this game should never get a 0 as it has many things working in its favor plus the story is really not that bad, the only reason people think it's bad was because of the mob hatred for this game caused by influences saying it was bad even though critics agree that this is a must play

Практически вся повестка в игре обоснована . Все кто жалуется на смерть Джоэла , идите нахуй , это было нужно для сюжета и имеет смысл .     I really liked this game's gameplay, graphics and it really use the ps4 hardware on its best way, but as a huge fan of the 1st game, the story is really disappointing, Naughty Dog didn't made this game for the fans, but if they are going to launch a third game, I'm very worried about the history.
