    This is not a great game but neither is bad, actually is not bad at all, judging by my experience is an immersive game that will make you think, more less like red dead redemption 2 . It shows that not all storys have a happy ending. i absolutly recomend to play it at least.

    Эти игры Naughty Dog, давно уже не игры. Это 'интерактивное' кино. Причем это действительно кино с большой буквы, с сюжетом, который голливуду и не снился.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Amazing game. I have zero complaints about the animations of it. Yeah, some of the movements are a bit harsh. And the lighting can be funny at certain times but overall really beautiful game, thats just being nitpicky. I really loved Ellie’s character development and came to love Abby’s character despite what she did. The story came to a very nice end and I could even see a third game being made with this. Really well done, will play through again many more times just as the first one!… Expand

    I feel so sad when completing the game, just want at least another 10 hours to watch the beautiful story. TLoU2 is so far the most attractive game to me, I simply love every part of it. The plot, characters, graphics, music, the fighting system... I love Ellie so much and especially the love story between Dina and her. It’s so hard to hate Abby after the game forced me to put in her shoes.

    The Last of Us 2 is for me the perfect sequel that could’ve been made. The way that they connected the first game and how they make you see that every story has two sides defines a perfect storytelling for me. Unfortunately Seth conflict was absolutely unnecessary for me, but since it didn’t take a huge place in the game, I can forget it.

The graphics and gameplay is a 10/10 for me, while the story is a 7/10. To me the story starts of as 5/10, then it gets to a 7/10 and as we play as Abby it starts of as 6/10 and after some time the rest is 10/10. My main problem as I pointed out earlier was the pacing. It felt chaotic some times and I didn’t always feel what the scenes wanted me to feel. I personally loved Abby as a character. She had so many flaws (in a good way) and seeing her friends telling her that she was a piece of sh*t, and that her actions resulted in her losing almost everything and being tortured for months, I love that sh*t. I loved seeing her trying to get better and I loved seeing her grow as a person. Ellie to me was kinda boring at the start, but her story got better. Especially the last part, that sh*t was just greatness! Overall I understand why people didn’t like it, but I still enjoyed it and I hope the game will get the praise and respect it deserves for doing something bold as it did. As I said gameplay and graphics 10/10 and story 7/10.… Expand

    Now that I've finally been able to play the game entirely, I will say I really enjoyed it. The game is not only creepy but also beautiful
    and at times has some resident evil vibes going on.. the story line held up like the first game.

    I do think people would enjoy it more or would want to play it, if they were more open minded to things that are different.

    Don't listen to the bad reviews, this game is simply fantastic and ticked all the boxes. A masterpiece deserving of the high scores the critics gave it. What an experience!!!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I held off buying this after all the review bombing, making the assumption their pure volume meant the game had significant issues. But I relented and went in, eyes open to all the potential issues. Some of the story/dialog was certainly choppy ... but if you're gonna run a marathon, you're gonna have a few dud strides. I dont think the story is the mess some claim it to be. Abby's story and arc is quite good, if anything Ellie comes off as the more murderous. As others have said, the story runs too long and is overwritten but that's nothing an editor couldnt have fixed. It's not an SJW story and Lev is a thoughtful character. We also see the love and care Naughty Dog put into the game in every single pixel. The execution is superb. For that ND should be immensely proud. With a few cuts, the story could have been very strong BUT here's the main issue for me. This is the Last of Us 3, not 2. If we had another instalment with Joel and Ellie adventuring together as 2 then revenge to tie up the trilogy, it would have given players more time to come to the grips with Joel's demise. In any case, it's a good game and takes the player on a decent journey and is worth the price of entry.… Expand

    I don't understand the negative reviews. The story was intriguing and nuanced, mixing morality up to the point of not really knowing how to feel, but forcing you to feel regardless. The game-play and visuals are solid. Maybe I'm missing something, but I enjoyed the game thoroughly.

    Haters can hate all they want, this game was a thrill of a ride, it is really the peak of naughty dog imo. And if u didn't enjoy because of the decisions they took with the story, well suck it up.

Did this decisions made game worse? No, they just fired up those who expected same story we were told once. Back then in 2013 we've got heartwarming road movie. In 2020 creators made a grown up drama about hatred, revengeDefiantly one of the best experiences I had this year. Emotional roller coaster.     I played the game around release, I knew of the story leaks but I thankfully managed to avoid the major spoilers. The story can be hard to digest, no question about that, but within the context of the game & the world built in the first game, over the 36 hours it took me to finish it (tried to find all collectables) there was nothing story-wise that felt out of place or forced.I played the game around release, I knew of the story leaks but I thankfully managed to avoid the major spoilers.     Personally I loved the game, it was visually beautiful, well acted by old & new characters, the music & sound design fantastic and mechanically it felt like an evolution of the original game but added a lot (including hand to hand combat that was greatly improved). And performance was solid throughout.
    But reading this you likely just want to know about the story, and why there is so much anger about it. One point of contention, gender and LGBTQ representation; you have a main character, a young woman that is a lesbian (revealed in DLC of the original game) and the main antagonist is also a woman, who has "masculine" physique. So while obviously not all, but some of the hate is certainly based on and directed towards those aspects. Not something that felt at all "heavy handed" to me, but for many that alone was enough. But it was what happened to the 2 characters from the original game, that I think brought out most of the anger. All I can say is, that while it's undeniably difficult to watch some of the scenes that were leaked, within the context of the game and this brutal world, it did not feel poorly written or out of place. In fact, I think the writing in the 2nd game is much more interesting and complex, and compared to the original game that is high praise.

    My only real complaint would be the length of the game, about double of the first. But even that in the context of Ellie's journey, the game length itself added to the themes explored. Both games often made me feel very tense during gameplay, with limited resources fights can often seem incredibly tough. But in the 2nd game, even cutscenes were tense as it felt like characters, even main ones could die at any point.
    I'll leave you with this, the fact that so many people are still writing 0/10 reviews on metacritic, that it has stirred up this kind of anger, that alone should interest you, as should any work that is polarising. You may not like the game, how it plays, the story etc. but in their campaign against it, those that hate the game & continue to post on any news article, any written work about it, any video, they are inadvertently continuing the conversation. And for me it is a game worth playing and certainly one worth talking about. People complain that games are getting boring, homogeneous. That certainly can't be said of 'The Last of Us Part 2', risks were taken and in my opinion paid off.    … Expand

I hated Abby for what she did and yet somehow the game managed to slowly convince me that she’s not a horrific person. I still couldn’t fully forgive her for what happened but that’s the whole concept of Ellie’s story ark! Druckmann said that not all people would be happy with this game. I was one of those people but by the time the credits rolled I was sat there still trying to fathom what sort of experience I had just gone through. I think In this modern era of video games that is something we should be applauding and not scrutinising just because of meaningless arguments over; transgender representations, lesbianism, plot holes and most notably the ending.

    At the end of the day naughty dog took a real risk and a lot of people didn’t like it. Myself, I’m not sure if I’m 100% happy but I really really enjoyed playing it and would recommend the experience to others!    … Expand

    To me the last of us part 2 is a 10 out of 10 first off and the most obvious points the game graphics, the aesthetics, the environment and the smoothness of the game. It is incredible how a game can be so immersive in those aspects.

    The second point is game mechanics, of course the last of us won’t have the type of mechanics God of War has, Kratos is a God and Ellie is a simple human that doesn’t even have military training. The game tries to be as realistic and true as it can be. That’s why mechanics couldn’t be as fun as some people expected, the thing is it’s actually fun, violent and exhausting. The improvising factor is outstanding, every time you are in tough situations it’s incredibly rewarding knowing that you could’ve died but somehow didn’t. Responsiveness is not as great as the first game but it was meant for it to be realistic. Finally the most controversial topic is the story. The sequel is a gigantic rollercoaster of emotions. The start is slow but when you get to the 2 hour mark things get really spiced up. The game serves its purpose by making us feel those emotions in a way I’ve never felt or seen before. This game is not fan service at all and I don’t really know what people expected from this universe of tragedy and sadness with little glimpses of happiness. As most of us, I didn’t want many things to happen but the game forces us to do things that are morally dubious and maybe things that are correct we don’t want to do. No character deserves a good ending because they’re not special, they are not superheroes or characters from a love story, they are normal people, just like you and me. Whenever someone says the game is about revenge is wrong, they’re actually not getting the point. This game is about perspective and the path of redemption just as the first game was with Joel, from loosing his daughter and becoming a dubious moral person to becoming a loving and caring person. Abby’s path is a mirror to Joel’s. The fact that they save a kid and travel through America to find a destination is an example of it. I was an Abby hater even before she brutally and disgustingly killed Joel, I even let myself die a couple of times before knowing what was her motivation. Even after I didn’t like her, but as time passed I reflected and understood her, the fact that I didn’t want her to die at the end because, first of all, she spared Ellie’s life twice, seeing her point of view and making me feel empathy is amazing (props to the developers), even after killing the character we loved so much. Abby is not a monster or a completely terrible person. She is just as gray as Joel, or Ellie or any other character we know. Even when she was about to “end it”, you could see her face doubting what she was doing, hearing Ellie scream desperately. I’ve seen many reviews stating that characters are not true to themselves, but you know, 4 years passed and they were living a really normal life without even having to deal with others. Joel for instance became a softer and older guy, he actually didn’t completely trust the WLFs. Tommy lost everything at the end, literally everything (her wife, the possibility of saving Jesse, his brother, his ability to walk, one eye, his complete revenge, and the list goes on) Ellie had her PTSD eating her from the inside, with the impotence of forgiving Joel and not communicating what she felt or thought, these are some reasons that on why she decided to leave her really loving and stable family. At first I couldn’t get why she was giving up on all of that, knowing the consequences, but now I completely understand her and the fact that many of us don’t even know what it’s like to have such a trauma is near impossible to understand why they act in such a way, while developers conducted research, talked to experts and people that suffered from it. For what I can see people felt so empty and had a mix of emotions at the end, and that was the end goal of the game. I don’t think anyone likes it or expects it, but it is what it is. I strongly believe that if a Movie or a TV show or a video game makes you feel such strong emotions that’s what makes it so special and non forgettable. This game made people including myself, start yelling, hating, crying, even being violent. But also made them feel happy and hopeful in some flashbacks and sequences. My recommendation for this game is for you to have an OPEN MIND and don’t expect any fan service, to play it YOURSELF and not base your opinions on another person’s take. MAKE YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS.    … Expand

    Amazing game. I think naughty dog took a risk and came up with a great sequel. The graphics is insanely good, which made me wish I have ps4 pro and a 4k TV. Great characters and story as well. I think it gives players the opportunity to see different sides of a story and see the grey areas in this universe. Thank you to naughty dog and the team, congrats on the game.

    Apesar da gameplay se tornar repetitiva em alguns momentos, TLOU Part II é um jogo cheio de camadas repletas de muita emoção, sensibilidade e coragem ao contar sua história de forma um tanto inesperada. Um obra prima da Noughty Dog que vai permanecer nos pensamentos daqueles que embarcaram na jornada proposta por muitos e muitos anos.

    This game was beautifully crafted and had me on an emotional rollercoaster throughout the entire course of the story. Fueled with anger and hate at the beginning, then empathy and sadness in the middle, and finally peace at the end.

    I loved each character -- even Abby who I had initially hated. The relationships between each main character was genuine and amazing. This experience was like no other.

    I am very proud of Naughty Dog and the risks they took with this game. I hope they do not let the negative criticisms deter them from continuing to take similar risks in the future.

    This game is a must play to anyone who loves an amazing story. Way to go Naughty Dog!    … Expand

    I know there are a ton of controversies about this game but they are mainly based on ridiculous personal preferences or lazy thinking. This game is a masterpiece. From the visuals, to the gameplay, and especially the story line, it keeps you more than 100% invested the entire time! Easily one of the top 5 games and stories every developed. You’d be insane not to play this game!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'm giving this game a 10 because none of these haters want to give a proper rating. Let's get the easy parts away. This is the best looking game I've ever played and it's still on PS4. The music is a pure masterpiece, the voice acting, motion capture and facial expressions are so realistic. The combat is way better than the first game, we don't have Ellie from the first game literally running into the bad guys without being seen. And now, the story. People are still talking about it today because sometimes, the most controversial art is the most beautiful. The story left me speechless in tears, depressed for a whole month and no other game has ever done that to me.

    First of all, we're gonna talk about Joel's death. While I can understand why some people think it doesn't make sense, that Joel was given way too easy to Abby, coincidences, etc. I don't think that really matters at all. The death scene was absolutely ruthless, I was shocked and angry. But I kinda asked myself: "Why was Abby so angry at Joel in the first place?" and I wanted to give her a chance. Also, they are living in an apocalypse where everyone does good and bad things in order to survive. Joel's death was the main part of the game.

    Abby's part. People were quite angry they had to play as her. Naughty Dog never wanted you to feel sympathy for Abby or to like her character, they just wanted you to see her perspective and why all of this happened. This is the part where I realized the statement I made earlier that everyone does anything to survive and to keep their loved ones safe. No one is the antagonist in this story. In fact, Ellie and Abby are very similar to each other. I can find connection between Abby and Joel as well (caring about a loved one, Abby cares for Lev, Joel cares for Ellie). Abby wanted to risk her life and betray her group in order to save Lev, Joel made a selfish decision too by saving Ellie. We also realize that Marlene actually didn't want the surgery to happen. The doctor (Abby's father, who was killed by Joel) also didn't like it, but it was his only chance to try and develop a cure.

    What I noticed is how everyone was happy with all the brutal stuff Ellie did, but I think they missed the point of the game. I think Naughty Dog wants to show you how much pain Ellie caused (pretty much killed all of Abby's friends). Even though Nora was quite an **** I was quite worried for Ellie when she was raging while killing her with that pipe. As well as killing Owen and Mel, who was actually pregnant. Ellie even decided to leave, but Abby found her. The fight scene against Ellie was brutal and quite uncomfortable. It's just like the Nora part. Naughty Dog makes you PLAY the decisions your character made even though those decisions are really bad. It's a cool touch in my opinion. The fact that I had to choke Ellie while spamming the square button really shattered me.

    The ending. Finally, Ellie is seemingly in a good spot with Dina and her child. She is trying to live a normal life, but her PTSD is kicking in all the time. The only memory of Joel that pops in her head is Joel dying on the floor, beaten (notice how Abby used to have nightmares about her dad as well). Tommy comes in one day and tells her where Abby is currently at. Ellie refused to go but the next night she decides to leave. Dina was very disappointed and Ellie probably felt bad as well, but she couldn't take it anymore. She finally gets to Abby, who's also beaten. They get into a fight and then, one of the most controversial parts of the game comes in. Ellie lets Abby leave. A lot of people thought that the whole game was pointless because of that, but I disagree. Ellie learned a lesson. Ellie noticed how Abby was taking good care of Lev. While Ellie was choking Abby, she flashed to Joel, perfectly fine and healthy, for the first time. She remembered a conversation she had with Joel where she told him that she wants to try forgive him for what he's done. But in order to forgive Joel, she has to forgive Abby because they were all put in the same situation. Abby stopped having nightmares after she met Yara and Lev. She started caring about someone else and let her father rest as a good memory. There's so much more I can talk about this game, but I think that's all I wanna say right now. In this game there is a rising climax, and at the midpoint where the rising climax gets even bigger, in this game the rising climax drops down completely at the midpoint, and is like this for a good few hours, until it immediately rises back up again. It goes up and down a few time’s before the ending, making this game, from a subjective standpoint, bad. But, for some reason, for me that didn’t effect me. I was still engaged with this game, I still wanted to play it, I wanted to complete my goal as Ellie. I was utterly and completely hooked on this game. And, to this games credit, once I finished this game and the credits rolled.. I sat there, motionless. I didn’t feel sad, nor did I feel anger, happiness or anything of the sorts. I felt empty. I felt completely empty. And no other game I have played made me feel this. And, also this game is by far the most emotional i’ve been playing a game. I cried and sobbed A LOT, and if you loved the first game like me, chances are you’ll feel emotional all through out the story also. Another big issue this game faced was its pacing. It’s all over the place. Like I mentioned. At around the mid way point, instead of the action getting more and more, it dropped, and you became less gripped by the story. The first 10 or so hours of the game will have you gripped, and you won’t want to stop playing, but after that you dont feel as engaged as previously. I feel if the game was structured in a different way, it would have been much more fun to play, and have you gripped through out the whole story.

    Moving away from story. The gameplay in this is absolutely phenomenal. Every encounter you play whether it be against humans or the infected, you always have this feeling of dread or fear while you hide (or go guns blazing, depending on your play style) around the tall grass or under the cars as you try to get a sneak attack on someone, or something. The gameplay is like the first game, but better. This game flows much better, the gun play feels better, stealth has been built up on, and like the previous game, it gives you the feeling that you are in an apocalypse with little ammo.

    Of course, there is a moment that has divided the fan base. I won’t tell you what to believe, but all I will say is power through to the end, it way change your thoughts, or solidify your thoughts. If you’re a fan of this game, you’re either going to love it, or despise it. I happen to be the former, it’s a wonderful piece of art and one of my favourite games, as well as its predecessor. If this game wins GOTY 2020, I’d say that it’s well deserved. Well done naughty dog, you did it again.    … Expand

    Very good job. Really one of the best games I've ever played. If you're looking for a story about REAL humans — this is the best choice. There are no 100% good or 100% bad persons. You feel really sorry about everything and everyone. No, clearly, I clicked pause for a couple of times, because I couldn't help myself and cried and cried and cried.

    Fabulous game with very deep dramatic plot and complicated dilemmas, probably not for those who don't appreciate more emotional experience. Unfortunately, it has been subject to negative criticism from people who are unable to handle the emotional stress it puts you through. Naughty Dog asks us the hard questions about our own personalities even as we put ourselves in the shoes of each character.
    Joel dies guys, deal with it. I cried. But I didn't hate on the game because of that. It's amazing how you hate Abby in the beginning. When the turn happens in Seattle Day 3 and we are forced to play as Abby. I put the controller down and took a day off. I pushed myself to continue and that decision paid off. By the end of the game, I did not want to kill Abby when I fight with her as Ellie. I was rooting for Abby not to die. The same Abby that killed Joel. Now, that is the beauty of this medium we call video games. The agency and narrative possible does not allow a movie to achieve this level of involvement.
    This is why I think this game should be in the hall of fame of video games.
    A few other things I want to state is the amazing work the studio has done with every art in the game. Design, Mechanics, Animation. Everything perfected. The sound design and cinematography are top notch and better than most Hollywood blockbusters. It is certainly one of the best games of all time, but it is not a perfect game, as neither is. So there are flaws that may be able to improve in the future.

    Before anyone tries to invalidate me, I am a huge fan of TLOU 1, it has been part of my early adolescence and I'm still obsessed with the story and the characters, *especially* after this Part II.

    A lot of the complaints about this game are about how it ruined Ellie and Joel's relationship, but face it, everything that happened was solid and possible. Ellie is a character that's got nobody, she lost her best friend, she lost the only adult that cared about her before Joel (Marlene), she didn't have parents, and then the only loving figure she had lied to her and took away the real true meaning to her life (still on part 1). If you expected Ellie to become a Disney princess or to still see the world and Joel the way she saw in the first game, you are making a fool of yourself.

    People are also saying that they loved the first game and this part 2 ruined it etc etc, but people I am begging you to reconsider because you're missing the point. This game is about reality, it's about how life changes and people evolve, it shows the brutality and violence we have in ourselves and how this apocalyptic world intensifies it even more. The first game was also intense and cruel, we can't deny that, but this game really shows us the truth about our inner world, about how our love can make us do the most cruel things.

    About Abby. If you played and you didn't connect with her it's ok I get it, nobody has to like every part of everything, but if you couldn't build empathy for her after seeing the humanity in her actions, the love she had for those around her and then seeing her best friends and father dying one by one, did you even play the game? TLOU II really slapped us right in the face and showed us how our actions have countless consequences in other people's lives and their love and need for justice are just as valid as ours. If you just don't care about Abby and her plot, I sincerely think you're just close-minded and (in this case at least) can't see the world beyond your own perspective and notice how other people's lives are just as important as yours.

    About Joel. Joel is a great character, he is a father figure not just for Ellie, but I guess for everyone who connected with him, but he is not perfect and his actions were selfish. I'm not saying I can't understand because if it was up to me I would save Ellie too, but it was selfish and there's no denial. This may not had become the snowball it was if Joel had just told the truth, it's her life she deserves to know, and he didn't tell her until the situation got critic. Joel is great, but he is human, his death was human and his actions were human, there's no point in wanting Joel to die in a glorious way because this would've been fake. Joel created his own fate and died as everyone else in this universe: as a human. I personally love Joel and missed him this whole game, but he needs to be seen the way he is, and that's what this game is all about, Joel is not a hero nor a villain, he is just a person doing what it's best in his point of view, there's no point in glorifying his life or death because he just did what everybody else would do, care about his loved ones.

    What this game did was brave. It destroyed the comfort zone and I'm so grateful that it has set such high parameters for storytelling and character development and it really did deliver an evolved and real story. It didn't have any fan service and I'm so thankful for this. For those who got the game, Naughty Dog really made us look to ourselves and see the real and brutal parts of our emotions, made us think about our relationships and how the best for us can mean hell for another person. I'm never gonna play a game like this in my whole life for sure, but I thank every day for what this game did for the gaming community. As a fan, I expected evolution, well developed characters, an interesting game, good combat, an incredible story, something that could really make this game unforgettable, and I received so much more.

    This money was REALLY well spent.

Alright have seeing all the massive negativity thrown this games way, especially on the DAY of the launch, I was expecting to a moderate level of story structure with character development and story arcs to be about the same if not worse. I was surprisingly wrong and not that shocked at the massive amount of negativity thrown toward this games direction. It's on par with the DMC: Devil May Cry game, when that came out a lot of people were just hating on the game and blasting it online. Now onto the giant elephant in the room with this game, Joel's death. That seemed to solidify a lot of peoples hatred for this from the get go which, again, I can understand why they were made but I don't understand why they couldn't look past their anger. This game is very much different in it's story telling then any game I can think of, it feels more a kin to an actual novel then your standard story in a game and that I think is fantastic. It shows Naughty Dog is willing to elevate and evolve the way we tell stories in games which is something that has to change. Many games now-a-days fall victim to the obvious flow and point system. For example, whens the last time you played a game when you were in your enemies shoes? When's the last time you played a game where you were running around and gunning down the people shooting at you then next minute you are seeing their actual day to day operations and camps that have men, women, and children just doing their best to survive a horrible situation. Now that's not to say all you get are sunshine and rainbows on the other end, you do see their darker sides, like the toture and suffering they were inflicting on the captured Seraphites. Or their real lack of compassion toward anyone that is not fully with them, that's an encompassing story. There's an author, Sherillyn Kenyon, who has done this exact thing with certain characters in her stories, not afraid of showing them at their lowest points and their highest. To me this game elevated from where the original took off and just kept reaching for higher aspirations.

    If you REALLY feel the story was bad, that's fine. But if your only major complaint is that Joel is dead and you have to play as his murderer and understand her side of the story. Then your opinion doesn't matter because what Naughty Dog did here was great and it should be respected as such.    … Expand

    Here my explanation, the story is full of desolating things even the ending is not a happy ending, and this is why I said that this game is not for everyone. This game want to deliver another perspective of gaming, a different point of view of vengeance and of course this game want us to feel devastated, sad even until the end of the game. From the beginning how Joel was dead until the last conversation of Ellie and Joel in the very end of the game. It was so devastating. That's why I think many people didn't like about this game.

    How the story made Ellie didn't kill Abby is one of good - weird things that the director wanted to share with us, I think because if Abby is dead, Lev will have a vengeance on Ellie and kill all Jackson people, and the killing never stop. And how the director bring that feeling is so wonderful.

    I felt like this story really bring another hard feeling in gaming, another story that made us speechless and even cried after we finished it    … Expand

Многие люди считают сюжет второй Ластухи ужасным, многим не нравится, что нам дают играть за Эбби, непонятны действия персонажей и т.д. Но мне, наоборот, было очень интересно играть за Эбби, так как разработчики дали нам посмотреть на эту историю с другой стороны. Вначале мы ненавидели Эбби и сопереживали Элли. В конце, во время финальной битвы между девушками, я уже даже не хотел бить Эбби, она мне стала гораздо ближе, чем Элли. В этом и была главная задумка игры, как мне кажется. Меня сюжет и такое развитие персонажей очень тронули. 4) Эмоции. По эмоциям для меня вторая часть намного круче первой. Здесь я реально рыдал на финальных титрах. Очень эмоциональная, депрессивная концовка, да и музыка в титрах как всегда на высоте, в общем с точки зрения эмоций это наверно самая сильная игра, в которые я играл.
    Ну и минусы, которые нельзя обойти стороной, за что, собственно, 1 балл я снял: 1) Оптимизация. У меня проблем не было, но я видел очень много отзывов и скринов людей, которые жаловались на баги, провалы персонажей в текстуры и прочее. Думаю, с патчами это постараются пофиксить. 2) СЖВ-повестка. Она здесь действительно присутствует, но не в таком количестве, чтобы на самом старте продаж игры бежать и ставить ей толпой нули... Повестка есть, с этим спорить нет смысла, взять хотя бы Лева, который не мальчик на самом деле, а девочка, помню пару разговоров персонажей про лгбт, очень меня "порадовала" огромная страшная женщина с молотом, это чистый фем-продукт, конечно. Но надо признать, что лгбт-повестка игроку не навязывается и присутствует скорее для галочки. Без этого спокойно можно было бы обойтись, но таковы современные тенденции, к сожалению. Отношения Дины и Элли смотрятся очень органично и мило, тем более на фоне дополнения первой части. Также в игре есть беременные, поэтому повторю еще раз: пропагандой лгбт эта игра разумеется не является, просто она "слишком толерантна" и следует современным тенденциям, что многим геймерам не понравилось. 3) Тяжелый старт. Игра очень долго раскрывается, и, пожалуй, действительно интересной становится только с того момента, когда мы начинаем играть за Эбби.
    В общем, резюмируя, игра получилась супер противоречивой, супер обсуждаемой, супер странной, но мне понравилось. Очевидные минусы отрицать трудно, но полученные эмоции от этой игры для меня перевесили все ее недостатки, поэтому 9 из 10 я считаю справедливой оценкой.    … Expand

    Playing as Abby was extremely frustrating at first, but by the end I realized I actually cared about her character. This is a testament to the great story and character development in this game. I wanted Abby to die a horrible death at the beginning and by the end I found it difficult to fight her. That's how much my feelings had changed, which is rather amazing. This video game actually gave me a new perspective on not always painting the opposing side as the villain or "evil". This can be applied to relationships with people all the way to politics. There are things with the story that were tough to handle, but there were also great things done as well. I'm so glad I didn't listen to all these user reviews and actually played the game. There is a reason why the critic reviews for this game are so high and I agree with them. I give it 10's across the board for story, gameplay, graphics. Yes it might have a few narrative flaws. but no game is perfect and if you actually pay some attention and realise what the characters are doing and how they are acting you'll understand that its not your story to tell its theirs, there are not as nearly as many plot holes as people say because they just dont pay attention to the game..     Gioco più bello mai giocato, graficamente è next Gen, la storia è la più bella mai vista su questa generazione di console, anche se a tratti inutilmente allungata, i modelli dei personaggi sono qualcosa di incredibile come le espressioni facciali fatte da Dio.     This game (well, the story) is the most accurate example ever of a video game that is SUBJECTIVE.
    People keep fighting about this game, like, 50% hate it, 50% love it.
    Can we just all agree that it's okay to be on one side or the other?

    A game i had absolutely no interest in, being a die hard fan of the prior title and hearing nothing but the worst for this one. However, once i finally sat down and played it a dew months after, i was absolutely amazed at how brilliant this intimate narrative of love and loss actually was. The game is not perfect, its bloated and paced inconsistently with some bits of dialogue that feelA game i had absolutely no interest in, being a die hard fan of the prior title and hearing nothing but the worst for this one. The game is not perfect, its bloated and paced inconsistently with some bits of dialogue that feel like they needed a pass over in the editing room, but none of this even comes close to diminishing the immensely powerful journey that deals with incredibly heavy themes. Its absolutely not a game for everyone, and in fact I can understand so many players finding it hard to enjoy or sit with. The closest i can book piece of fiction i could compare it to would the works of author cormac mccarthy, primarily the road or no country for old men. In terms of film, the nightingale. Its a beautiful piece of art that not only depicts the bare face of human depravity and barbarism, but it also shows the resilience to find hope in the despair integral of the human condition. By no means is this a game i recommend everyone try, but i can hardly think of a game as emotionally resonant as the last of us 2.… Expand

    Story of the The last of us part II was so strong and difficult to digest, and as Neil Druckmann said this game is about hate, the story had the best ending. The game environment was very natural and alive.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
