    Embora a história do jogo tenha gerado muita controvérsia, no meu ponto de vista foi muito bem escrita. Considero o jogo uma verdadeira obra de arte em todos os quesitos. Foi o jogo mais completo e original que já joguei. Boa parte das críticas ao jogo são de pessoas que gostam de clichê e intolerantes.

    Masterpiece. Don't read into the negativity. Keep an open mind when you play.
    Graphics, game-play are top notch.
    The story is grim, bitter, upsetting and heartbreaking but its a story they wanted to tell and its a brilliant one. This is the first game that crawled out the screen to give physical discomfort.
    Experience this game.
    I rate this game better than the first one.

    It is a fantastic game, it has transmitted a thousand emotions. The plot is much more complex than the first chapter which makes it a game not suitable for everyone. Graphically it is spectacular, every single ravine has blown me away. The music made me goosebumps.

    I've never felt such heightened emotion while playing a game that I'm quite literally screaming out due to stress, tension or fear, and my deep love for the characters causing me to cry. Neil Druckmann and the rest of the team at NaughtyDog really have mastered the art of modern video game-making. They have accomplished something that is astonishing in    What an incredible game.

Neil Druckmann and the rest of the team at NaughtyDog really have mastered the art of modern video game-making.

    They have accomplished something that is astonishing in today's overcrowded landscape of entertainment media, where it feels as though everything has been done before, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to stand out among the infinite resources we can choose from in this golden age of content.

    Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson return as Joel and Ellie, expertly portraying their respective characters in a performance that feels deep, rich and meaningful. Johnson, especially, really cranks it up a notch as an older Ellie, and I would go as far as to say Johnson is more talented her field than many popular actresses working in TV and Hollywood today.

    I think it's a remarkable achievement to introduce new characters that aren't dry, annoying or just not really worth caring for. It's an all too common problem in film, TV or games that I think we've accepted as normal and to be expected when sequels and spinoffs are made. However, I did find myself happy to see Jesse, anticipating interactions between Dina and Ellie and found myself growing to like Abby despite outright hatred toward her to begin with, which is not an easy feat.

    Everything in this game is oozing with genuine effort - nothing is lazy. The graphics, game play combat and above all the story is phenomenal. I'm blown away by what the team at NaughtyDog have been able to take from the first game, and improve and build upon it.
    The story is what seems to be making or breaking this experience for many people. It upsets me to see so many negative reviews when the years of dedication, love and care to create this game is so starkly evident.
    I really think that if you believe that the story was poor, you aren't understanding it in the slightest. You're missing the mark and failing to see the point completely.
    Many of the critic reviews do an excellent job of illustrating this point. Go and read some of their reviews.

    To give this game anything between a 0 and a 4 is downright wrong, because even if one did understand the story, and it truly wasn't for them, then fair enough - but you can't deny that everything else that makes up this game was near perfect.

    I'm also terribly disappointed in those reviews that stated the reason they were giving the game a bad score was because they were having 'politically correct, feminist propaganda' shoved down their throats. How will we ever have LGBT+ and/or strong female leads represented in anything if angry bigots shoot it down in the first instance, complaining that they have to see someone different to them on their TV screen? It's actually disgusting to see in the year 2020 just how many people are still stuck in the past.

    I know this phrase 'subverted my expectations' is so overused and practically a joke but it really did just that. I was always on my toes, unable to predict what was going to be throw at me next. I had a phenomenal experience all throughout the game, but somehow the last few hours just elevated the entire game 10-fold, wrapping it up so fantastically. I teared up a lot.

    I wouldn't be able to say whether ''Part I is better then Part II'' or vice versa, because they both have completely different feels to them that it becomes impossible to compare the two. I think the change in mood is down to the nature of the respective stories. Part I is about (fatherly/daughterly) love, but toward the very end it becomes what the second instalment is about - the (arguably horrid and wrong) things you do for someone you love unconditionally.

    I think you could choose to interpret that change in feel as a positive or negative, personally, I think it's a good thing. It needs to have a point of differentiation, something that lets everyone know it isn't it's predecessor. Or else, we end up experiencing something that feels like a cut and paste of the first one, with a few things jumbled around which happens far too often in the entertainment industry because it's safe and profitable. I think it's incredibly brave and commendable for NaughtyDog not to rely on the success of the first instalment, and it definitely pays off.

    The Last Of Us Part II is a worthy continuation of a modern classic, and passes the game from being Joel's to Ellie's story of survival and love smoothly, even though they are beautifully and heavily intertwined with each other.    … Expand

This is my first review By far this is the best ps4 game exclusive I ever played. i Finally beat the game and i know i am a late reviewer because i have to experience the full game of it. I waited 7 years for this and let me tell you, it was worth the wait.

    Pro:
    The story is amazing. You feel the emotion and the heartbreak of the game, like an oscar winning movie.
    Gameplay is the best.
    graphic OMG beautiful.
    Sound amazing.

    characters of the game is great. Ellie and the newcomer Abby.

    Con:
    Nothing.

    I understand that this game is not like because of the story and what happen to Joel. And we have to play the enemy Which is Abby. The point is Yes Im sure what Abby did to Joel, My one of my favorite Character I got Hurt and Sad Of what she did. Made me Cry. but playing Abby story and her gameplay of it is amazing. and I understand why she did that because of revenge. you need to see her side of the story of abby, like said story is amazing thru out the game. and one more thing her weapons in the game I would say its better then Eille. But Eille is better in stealth. DONT Judge Or Make any Negative Things about the game. Because you did not complete this game Plan and Simple.

    Naughty Dog did an amazing Job. If you want survival action game, well this is the game for you and if you play the 1st last of us, this last of us part 2 is twice as good.

    So played part of the first on ps3 then ps4 announced and Sony tried to get me to pay 60 for the same game so I did not finish. I'm hapoy I didn't because it probably would've ruined part2. The game starts off a little slow but eventually it ramps up and I found myself taking out people in groups in some insane ways. They brought these characters to life, and at moments you forget that you're playing a video game. This game draws you in After the initial stages (about 1-2hrs in) the world is densely satisfying, and playing this on a base ps4, the graphics were beyond belief. I cant even imagine what next generation is going to look like.

    A must play especially if youre new to the franchise. Enjoy the survival horror game you never knew you wanted but happy that these guys made.

    From the technical point of view, ND is doing great job on the hardware they are developing for (and always did). Gamedesign and the gameplay is (as expected) fun, brutal, satysfiing and has its weight in players hands.

Let's start, the graphics are amazing, the gameplay is a huge step up (especially for melee and stealth), and the story is fantastic. A lot of people whining about the story are either upset about the LGBTQ+ aspects or they read spoilers with no context and were left enraged before playing the game. The Last of Us 2 is not the sequel I expected, but it is one that is true to its world and characters. The first game shows a man who is willing to do whatever it takes to get his job done, contrary to what Polygon thinks, the game is not about selfless actions or anything remotely about altruism. Joel has a mission, he became attached, and then he literally doomed the entire **** population because he didn't want to lose a daughter figure again. It is understandable, but also, if you came out not thinking Joel is a selfish man (albeit relatable) person, you didn't absorb the story properly and this game likely isn't for you as you entirely missed the point of the first one. Which you can see if you read Polygon's review, which honestly is an embarrassing review because the reviewer just blasted out that she played a game and didn't understand it even remotely. I think the hardest part of this game (for some) is that it really asks you to be a decent human who is capable of complex emotions and hopes that you can place yourself in the shoes of others while things are unfolding. It essentially asks that you go in with one motive and understand why you would possibly change that as events unfold and apparently that is asking too much for some 40,000+ losers review bombing the game. If you enjoyed the first game, play this with an open mind and don't become so attached to your own expectations that you get upset when the creators don't adhere to your every specification.… Expand

    What the hell with gamers that criticize this game. It really a great single player game, better than resident evil 2 or 3 remake. I have a great time with it. Those gamers better go play their animal crossing, pokemon or online kiddie stuff.

    It's a technical masterpiece with very good gameplay and a polarising story.
    I think that the themes and atmosphere of this are very much aligned with and build off the original. It's not for everyone for sure. The Abby section dragged on just a couple of hours too long for me. Especially since we left it on such a cliffhanger before that...
    It questions your loyalties and offers differing perspectives. Each character is flawed. Some more than others. But ultimately the game left me feeling dirty, conflicted, emotionally wrecked, with a touch of acceptance to wrap it up. Not quite as stellar as the first, but damn near close.    … Expand

    Really enjoyed this game. Dispite all the haters they couldn't be more wrong. If you liked the first, I doubt you will dislike the second. All i can say is if you have some unhealthy attachments to characters, or for some reason you cant stand a story that involve LGBT characters then i would say this game isn't for you.

    This game is near perfect in every way. Don't listen to the haters. Most of them lack the emotional and/or intellectual depth to fully understand the game. The people I know personally who were disappointed by the story or the structure rate it 7 or 8 out of 10. This is not a 1-star game by any measure.

    For me it's a cautionary tale that our mistakes can come back to haunt us; that no matter how much we correct our ways, some will focus on that terrible mistake, so be ready for the consequences.

    And at the risk of sounding preachy, that instead of letting our future selves be defined by our mistakes we should strive to be better regardless.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I don't get people. Many just crying for a better ending or a better story. Many are dissatisfied. How this or that would be much wiser to do blablabla. They want to erase this like that would solve anything, but that's just denial.
    I'm satisfied. I got a story, a story what the creators wanted to tell me.
    I enjoyed the game. The thrills it got me, the gameplay, visuals and the sounds. It all contributed to have a great experience, to involve me as much as possible to the world. The whole game is well thought out and well made. Lot of detail and work had been put into it, that's sure. The makers deserve applause for it.

    I also had problems with characters. I didn't like them at the time, but that's just life. You can't make everyone happy.
    (And you would not want that anyway. From a creator point of view you want to present your idea as you see fit, not as how others will like it.)

    I also had a character whom I liked and at the end of the story I was pity him for being stuck emotionally. Just like how Joel was stuck with her daughters death. Which is totally okay. But he haven't moved on after 20 years. He got a second chance from life and he took it. It had consequences which he paid for after all. Ellies and Abbys journey also had these consequences, but at the end Ellie made the right decision. She has grown. We get the moral of the story, at a cost.
    Thats why this game is so great. Its cold and warm. It makes you hate or like people in it. Makes you think. Life is just like that. No happy ending, just plain cruel reality.

    I think many of us who played the game liked it after all. It just happened that its unpopular to have a positive opinion about it nowadays and it makes it look like this game is trash.
    It's okay to hate it as well as love it.
    Just don't let others ruin your experience. I believe it's a MUST to play this game.

It features one of the most compelling enemy AIs I've seen so far, which generates an infinite amount of surprises. In its best moments the games challenges have the complexity of a puzzle which adapts and generates new combat situations on the go. It's the juicy emergent behaviour many designers strive for these days. At the same time TLOU2 features many questionable design decisions which carried over from Naughty Dogs old titles, but didn't age that well with the new game concept. I really dislike the choice of plants in such complex environments to indicate interactable objects. The inventory system doesn't hold up in stressful boss fights and looting is just a pain, especially chaotic environments like a hardware store. Also, the companion AI is really laking in many instances.

    It's saddening to see a bland incoherent title like Ghost of Tsushima get a user rating of 9.3, while a novel work like TLOU 2 gets a mediocre user score. I personally don't feel like I can trust user ratings on metacritic anymore. Whether there's a lack of trustworthiness in those reviews or whether I just grew apart from the common taste I can't tell. I certainly hope the former is the case. I also hope that the sales numbers of TLOU2 don't reflect this sentiment, because I really want to see more of this kind of work from you guys at Naughty Dog.    … Expand

    Regarding the narrative, which seems to have provoked a great deal of controversy, its not perfect. It seems Naughty Dog maybe tried to do too much as part of the narrative. A lot of it felt patched together. Its far from bad however. In fact, i think that its intention to reinforce that these characters, as interesting and relatable as they are, are essentially killing machines, feels like a continuation of point it makes at the end of the first game. One theme among those who dislike the game, is that they don't appreciate the depressing tone, but were we really meant to end the original feeling happy? Did we feel that the right choices were made by Joel; the character we're supposed to control? Should Ellie and Joel be anything like the people they were following the events of Part 1?

    Like the first game, we are led to believe that the choices being made and deaths that are occurring are worthwhile in order to survive, when in reality, we're killing all of these people without there being a worthwhile ending. Unlike the first the game, Part 2 is incredibly upfront about that fact, making it clear early, with *that moment*.

    The post-apocalyptic world is not forgiving. The human psyche is unpredictable and even nonsensical. The Last of Us Part 2 is thematically built around these two points with far greater confidence than Part 1, and it makes for one of the best games I've ever played.    … Expand

It managed to make me be able to sympathize with Abby who I really wanted to hate. It made me realize that the only reason we took Joel's side was because we played as him and saw things from his perspective. I felt conflicted when Fighting Ellie as Abby and vice versa, because I wanted them both to be able to move on. I did have a couple issue though. Once we got to the climax, the story rewound three days. I wanted to rush through that part because I was dying to know what happened next. I also feel like since Tommy and Joel had just saved Abby's life, she should probably have even a little hesitation before shooting him in the leg and murdering him with a golf club. I also feel like she got a little too lucky with finding Joel almost immediately and having the perfect reason to lure him back to her group.… Expand

I accidentally caught a few spoilers before starting, but even then was caught off guard by the numerous plot twists. I found the story compelling, all of the characters’ decisions are consistent with who they are as people.

    Second, I enjoyed the game play mechanics from the first game and this one plays the same. I feel like there were some missed opportunities to add more weapons and gear, but it delivers the same stealth/shooting/scavenging/crafting experience that I loved from the original.

    For a lot of people, minds have been made up before playing. But I encourage anyone who hasn’t played it yet to give it a chance, you might be glad you did.    … Expand

    The game is a masterpiece. Fun to play, challenging and with a great plot. It is about loss and revenge in post-apocalyptic world, not teddy bears in a park. The pristine quality of its storyline is rarely found in videogames. Some clearly did not understand it or had their feelings hurt because the story did not go the way they wanted.     Playability: it is better that first tittle (although is a sequel must do), introduces new zombies enemies and dogs (A good point for me, these enemies have got kill me many times), but human enemies are very silly, although i have seen that in levels more high (Difficult and survival) this is fixed (I have played in normal)

    Atmosphere: Jackson, Seattle and California feel alive and it can see the great game design.

    Graphics: The best the generation with red dead redention II

    Plot: Ok, this is the parth that i have felt a little disappointed, i`ve liked the Joel´s death (It is logic, respect the first game), but i think that could be better that we have known more later, Ok i explained:

    In this game we control Ellie and another caracter, Abby, who´s killed Joel, if Naugthy Dog wanted that we felt something by Abby, it shouldn´t have showed as soon Joel death´s, and theremore should have mixed the two stories, because when i started the Abby´s story, i felt to play another game, and is a cut action total, and the island part, i spared a lot, i don´t like anything Isaac, Lev and Hanna (In my opinion, this part is badly told.

The animations here are the best I have ever seen, in cutscenes that are acted brilliantly by the game’s cast, and also in the gameplay. Walking, running, fighting, grabbing objects and climbing looks and feels not only more realistic, but also smoother than in any game this generation. The soundtrack by Gustavo Santaolalla is amazing. The graphics, the details and the lighting create an outstanding overall presentation that makes you appreciate how much work has flown into it and sets the bar high for all the next-gen titles that will launch in the next five years.    … Expand

    La forma de contar la historia quizas es su punto flaco ya que es menos clara que en la primera parte , pero la gracia es que al final todo cobra sentido (siempre y cuando llegues a entender toda la trama).

    Los personajes los hay mejores o peores , pero los principales cumplen su función y sobretodo Ellie aqui tiene su desenlace,hay que entender que es un personaje totalmente roto por dentro , sin un proposito en la vida por culpa de Joel que a su vez es su figura paterna eso pone a Ellie en un gran conlficto interior.

    overall it could have a much better story and could have gone in a better direction but the last of us part 2 is a masterpiece which totally deserved GOTY 2020 a very few companies in the world can make games as great as naughty dog games.

    This is by far the best video game ever created for the PS4. The visuals outshine that of The Last of Us. The actual details (if you make Ellie go prone repeatedly on cement, she'll have scrapes on her forearms and wrists). The story is really great (although I feel like they could have made the game longer to expand on a few things). But overall I thought this was the best game I have ever played on PS4 from Naughty Dog. SO good in fact that I played this game 3 times in a row (not only to get the platinum, which was easier without factions), but because I just love the whole Last of Us world (and I waited 7 years to be with Ellie in her world again).

    I HIGHLY recommend this game. The quality outshines any other game out there. Naughty Dog created new tech just for realistic EYES!

I've seen a lot of comments that are basically using the same words, so I'm not sure they are bots or something, so this makes me think that Metacritic is not well administrated as we thought. Okay, I'm not sure why there is such hatred out there for this game but I felt like weighing in on the action, as I have a fairly different view to other people. I finished the game on the hardest difficulty (survival I believe) and it took me around 30 - 40 hours. Let me explain what I thought:

    Firstly the technical aspects of this game are incredible. The graphics are absolutely stunning, the sound design is fantastic and creates a very tense atmosphere, and the play areas have become much bigger and - considering it is a linear game - make it feel almost non linear.

    Gameplay you should expect more of the same thing from the first game. Stealth focused with lashings of ultra violence when things go wrong. The ability to go prone, jump and climb add a little extra but are certainly not huge advances. Similarly the crafting and upgrades have been expanded slightly, but are not huge leaps forward.

    There were parts I did not like. I felt like the number of set pieces had been increased considerably from the first game, and that is where the gameplay is weakest. On the hardest difficulty there are very few supplies, and all the items you craft are precious, not to mention they can be difficult to swap between when you are being assailed on all sides by runners. This highlights the problems with the controls, for example you may dodge blows from an infected only for your hits to be directed in the direction you were initially facing, rather than to the infected you are now in a hand to hand fight with - hugely frustrating. One such set piece there are waves of increasingly harder enemies attacking you, beginning with runners, then runners and clickers, and ending with multiple shamblers and runners - there were no save checkpoints between waves which meant having to repeat the easy sections multiple times. The set pieces are then reduced to a trial and error approach until you know how to time your actions against the spawns - on easier difficulties this won't be such an issue, but it was very frustrating on survival.

    Another addition I did not like were the dogs. Dogs have a handler, as you'd expect, and once dogs have picked up your sent will follow it until they find you. This can be interrupted by stunning them in a variety of ways. There is one section in game where the amount of dogs and people patrolling make advancing very slow if you are trying to remain undetected. If a dog hits your sent trail though, you have to move quick, they will catch up fast and have huge detection radius on the hardest difficulty. Combine this with their handler and stunning them becomes almost an impossibility. In the end I just resorted to Molotovs before they had caught my scent, or leading them onto mines. It felt a cheap tactic on my part, but I couldn't find any other obvious option.

    Now for the story, where most complaints seem to lie. I thought the story was incredible, it kept me hooked until the end. Joel gets killed early on, but I didn't have a problem with this. We know Joel and Ellie from the first game at this point, and hopefully are invested in them. Joel is a bad dude though, I'm not sure if anybody remembers the end to the first game, but he killed a lot of people and ensured there would be no cure. I couldn't believe it in the first game while it was happening, and was shouting at my screen for him to stop. Ellie feels the same as I do, what Joel did was wrong, and their relationship has become broken down and strained as a result. I had no problem with Joel dying, most of our investment is with Ellie at this point (or should be, in my opinion) so killing Joel is not an issue. Joel is still a father figure to Ellie though, so watching him get beaten to death sets Ellie on a path to revenge.

    Abby is Joels killer, and you are forced to play as her throughout the game. To start with it feels forced too. I didn't want to play as her to begin with either. During this time though, we learn her motivations and we watch as she puts herself through the **** 3 days to save two children. By the end of Abbys section I found myself invested in Abby and Ellie equally.

    The final section of the game is played as Ellie, and I spent the whole time dreading the end. I did not want to reach the end of the game just to find her make what I considered to be the wrong decision, especially after Joel did in the first game. It is gripping stuff, which if you ignore the intricacies can sound very simple and disappointing. Is it just a tale of revenge? Mostly yes. Was the first game just the tale of smuggling a package? Mostly yes.

    It's not a perfect game, the story is slightly weaker than the first game, but the gameplay is slightly stronger. I'd say this was an equal to the Last of Us Part One: Technically incredible, slight clumsiness in controls, with minor gameplay improvements, occasionally frustrating level design, and a slightly weaker - but still great - sto    … Expand

    Thankfully didn't read any spoilers beforehand. All I knew was that people hated it and I wasn't sure why. I went in with an open mind and loved it. While not as good as the first game, it's still really good. Certain aspects caught me by surprise but just like life, things can come out of left field when you least expect them. Honestly, I'm still unsure why this game is getting so much hate.

It plays great on the PS4 Pro, I did notice some slight drops in FPS when a lot of water was present but aside from that the game is flawless and the HDR implementation is very impressive if you can take advantage of it.

    I feel this sets the benchmark extremely high for all other single-player narratives. I don't want to give anything away but the complexity of the story is excellent and keeps you wanting to play on and on to reach the next piece of the puzzle, with numerous flashbacks, and intertwining plotlines adding something very special not found in many other games, it kept me guessing and I found it very hard to put down, a few enjoyable late nights were had getting fully immersed in this post-apocalyptic world.

    I was a huge fan of the first game and feel that this sequel did it justice. I'm not so shocked that people review bombed the game, because I know that with controversial decisions there will always be a mixed bag of emotions and opinions but all that aside, I would highly recommend this game.
