    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I personally enjoyed the gameplay a lot, and felt it was a very good experience through the way Ellie must adapt to survive. I thought the dynamic between Dina and Ellie was awesome, I enjoyed the way the bonded together and all the exploring. The first half of the game was very good in my opinion, apart from what happened in the lodge and especially the way they did it (I felt the fans deserved better, I knew it was going to happen but not that early and in that matter) but other than that I throughly enjoyed the first half of the game. However, the second half was a bit of a disappointment, why would I want to play as her! Especially for that long - 3 chapters! Tbf, the story for her was alright but the fact that it was her made it less enjoyable, it felt like the developers wanted you to like her even though she has done what she has done. My biggest flaw with the game has to be the ‘boss’ battle, why the **** did they kill that character like it was nothing and especially why did they make you fight Ellie as her! A total joke in my opinion, I want to kill her not try and kill Ellie, I did not enjoy that battle whatsoever. The epilogue was a bit redeeming, with a nice revenge story, but I think Ellie should’ve finished the job, as I don’t want a Last of Us 3 to be about her, she’s a character that maybe is supposed to symbolise Joel and Ellie, but for what she did i think she should’ve have been killed.

    Overall, I think the game is a solid 8/10, the scenery and gameplay is top notch and some character bonding is nice to see, but the story at parts lets the game down, especially the ending.    … Expand

    Before I will explain why I enjoyed this game, if you yourself didn't or would like to understand the hatred this game receives, there is something at the end of my review for you. (Also this is my first written review for anything so far. I hope you'll understand my point of view tho)

    The dialogs and cut scenes are beautifully crafted and the mo-cap acting is phenomenal. The big strength of the game is the first half in my opinion. Unfortunately I couldn't fully connect with Abby and her agenda in the second half of the game, but there are some key moments in this game that just make it beautiful. The story itself is very complex in its telling but the player never loses the thread. The gameplay itself is visceral with improved AI behavior and engaging combat encounters.

    I think the reason this game is either loved or hated is because this games makes you FEEL so much while playing it and leaves you rather empty at the end. Most of the time you don't "enjoy" the game, because it gives you the bitter taste of hatred the characters feel for each other (but in a good way, if that makes sense?). But there is a very strong contrast between love and hate in this game and this duality is beautiful in my opinion.

    In the end, wehter you liked or disliked the games, I think we all can an agree that the game made us feel something and moved us (in what sense is up to you).    … Expand

    I just finished the game and it was such a beautiful journey!
    Unfortunately, the story got leaked before and so many people jumped on the hate-train without ever playing the game. This is so sad, because the story can only work, if you actually play the game. Além disso, o jogo mexe muito com o nosso psicologico e nosso emocional. Achei legal o fato de a Naughty dog ter humanizado muito bem o jogo, dando nome a todos os npçs e cachorros.     Frankly, the game is a masterpiece. Miles and miles better than part one, and that's no slight on one. I can't imagine being so deluded to think that artists owe you ANYTHING. Movies, TV Shows, Musicians, Authors, Game Devs... NOBODY OWES YOU A STORY. They could've made this a retread of part 1 where Ellie tracks down Dina's kidnappers and saves the day but Joel somehow dies at the end...Frankly, the game is a masterpiece.     I agree with Dunkey about this game. Maybe hype train was to big for some players, and some of them should play LoU 2 before criticizing it.

    I felt bad for the devs. You work on a game for years and some dumb ass kids who didn’t even buy the game gets in the bandwagon.
    Gaming is entertainment you either like a game or not. It’s simple. Those who **** on any game is pure brain dead.

    ellie says she can try to forgive joel and in the next day he gets killed by abby filled taken by vengeance because joel killed her father. Ellie sees joel last moments and gets mad obviously.
    She goes for a hunt for revenge almost loses her humanity on the hunt same as joel . Killing everyone who stands against her until she gets to abby to get her revenge. Abby gets filled with revenge again killing the people that are close to ellie. the game is a hunt for revenge from both sides. It has a sad ending showing that ellie lost her family and everything she had with dina by revenge Great game dunno why people are unliking it so much    … Expand

    The Last of Us part 2 is a stealth/adventure/horror game. Level design improved significantly. In the first one you could see when a gunfight was going to happen because the level design « spoiled » it, in this one not so much you can actually be surprised.     Naughty Dog has taken a big risk this time around, guiding you on a journey of grief, rage, and consequence from multiple perspectives. While many may not like NDs decision to pull the old MGS2 switcharoo, it is important to remember the themes of this title. I think I great deal of whether or not you will enjoy this game rests upon how willing you are to empathize with both Ellie and Abby.

    In the days since finishing this game I haven't been able to come up with any other games I can compare the story of TLOU2 to, certainly none whose story has stuck and resonated with me quite like this one. It is extremely disappointing to see the vitriolic brigading leveled against this game, and I sincerely hope this doesn't deter Naughty Dog from taking risks like this in the future.

    So please ignore the avalanche of negativity from these user reviews, poorly written this game is not.    … Expand

    TLOU2 was a masterstroke in game development! The story is a phenomenal growth from the first (which I was also a big fan of) and the most emotionally demanding story in any game I've played. The game mechanics never faltered to support the story by offering a grittier and more difficult combat experience this time around. Honestly just a 10/10 game.

    Gráficamente es impecable, sonido y ambiente tambien.
    Tiene huecos argumentales muy notorios y la forma en que llevan la mano puede llegar a ser tediosa entre tantos flashbacks.
    Es un final muy agridulce. Cumple muy a medias pero no era un juego realmente necesario, pero no fue un desperdicio de tiempo.

    I've never had a game make me feel as much as this one. I'd give a 10/10 however I'd some issues with pacing. Storytelling was amazing, though I could see why it would upset people. Combat and environments were exceptionally polished and suspense was incredible throughout the game. Approach this game with an open mind and you'll love every minute!

The game play is far better than the first its smoother, movement is smoother, shooting is fun and the enemy variety is always fun. Realizing that the enemies you face have names and people that care about them and even the infected were people at one point is admirable. The absolute BEST part of the game is the world building. The environments are always fresh and even though you play the same 3 days in the same city as Ellie and Abby the city is always full of surprises and the areas are always breathtaking. The collectibles have interwoven stories to tell and all of them are worth the time of reading. I loved the story much more than the first, something I've come to love and respect about Naughty Dog is telling a story no other game is telling. Every negative review talks about how they disagree with the characters decisions. This isn't your average Ubisoft game, this a story about characters that live in a world that could happen at anytime, and those actions that they make are far-fetched because people "can't feel connected". Yet we see what happens every year on black Friday in the US, please. The emotions that the characters have and the voice-acting make me actually feel this world rather than just stare at it. Each protagonist struggling with fears and PTSD is incredible. Playing with Abby made ME afraid of heights in the game, i struggled with those parts and it was the best. Please don't ;listen to the negative reviews, open your mind, devote about 28 hours to this masterpiece and I promise you'll understand and see.… Expand

I can hardly think of any games that have made me feel these emotions so strongly. This story is controversial and everyone will have different opinions on it.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Shocking reading through some of the comments on here. The story makes an incredibly BOLD call in killing Joel so early in the story but if you stick with is and actually invest in the 25 hours of gameplay the story is incredibly rewarding.

    We're so used to seeing playable characters as the good guys but this is a beautifully balanced game where Ellie and Abby's story arcs transcends one another. Ellie's morality declines as Abby's rises. Abby and the WLF crew are incredibly detailed with strong, well thought out back stories. When I first switched play to Abby after Day 3 Seattle I switched my PS4 off in annoyance but got so involved with her arc that she is an incredibly likable and selfless character in the end.

    Graphics are amazing, the game play feels the same as the first (which does feel repetitive at times) and there are some genuinely horrifying moments (this is a survival-horror after all).

    Where the impossible task of coming close to such a fantastic original game TLOU2 does a pretty darn good job and is certainly worth a play through.

    A DLC to see where Ellie/Dina are in the aftermath would be very welcomed.

    Don't believe the outrage. Play the game first, then make up your own mind.    … Expand

    Honestly, I didnt have the chance to play it, but I would realy love to. I think that it doesnt deserve the negative reviews. Even if the story took a very unexpected turn, the graphics are fantastic, the characters are well made and the mechanics are interesting. Naughty Dog really put effort in this game and it is very good. I love this game and I really hope I will play it

    It's one of the most beautiful and fluid games available on the PS4 in everything from the graphics, environments, sound design, etc. The gameplay is just polished and fun, if a little repetitive.

    I think the original did a better job of breaking up the basic gameplay with exploration, puzzles and "mini games" like shooting while hanging upside down or being a sniper with unlimited ammo. While those elements are all present in part II they are not distributed as well throughout the game. The main gameplay is still a lot of fun here though, and definitely better than in the first game.

    In the end I was torn between giving this a 7 or an 8. It's definitely an experience playing this game and I do recommend buying it but there's also disappointment because I know this game could have been so much better.    … Expand

    The Last of Us was probably one of, if not the best game of all time (in my opinion), so naturally I was insanely hyped for this game, probably the most excited I've ever been for anything in my life, even more than Endgame. I also made sure to avoid all spoilers and leaks as I wanted to go in relatively blind, apart from watching a few trailers. I pre-ordered the game as soon as I could, first game I ever pre-ordered in my entire life, so the second the game arrived in the mail, I immediately dropped everything and cancelled all my plans for the next few days to play it. I began installing it and jumped right in as soon as it finished installing. 4 days and 22 hours later, there I was, sitting on my couch processing what the hell I had just played. After a day of letting it marinate in my brain, I have come to the conclusion that this is one of the most incredible and emotionally brutal games I have ever played. Let me break that down.

    STORY:
    This is one if the best story games I have ever played. I love everything about the story and would change none of it. I think it stacks up perfectly to the first game and gives itself a reason to exist. It continues the game beautifully and smoothly, into a harsher, and more threatening world. It develops the complexity of its characters with writing and situations that is probably some of the best writing I have ever seen in a videogame. I have no complaints at all about the story.

    CHARACTERS:
    Now, I know this is a touchy subject so I'll do my best to not piss anyone off, but I think the choice to make Abby a parrallel protagonist to Ellie was an absolutely genius choice, executed flawlessly. It showed that neither of them was good nor bad and that they were both as bad as each other, as well as they were both the villains in their eyes. So at the start you hate Abby, but then learn to understand her and what she did by seeing her motivations and reasons. I think Dina and Jessie were well introduced characters and I loved both of them as well as most new characters introduced in this game (except Seth). The game also brought in old characters like Tommy and Maria in a smooth and satisfying way. I think killing Joel early in the game made it so the game could focus on Ellie and her emotional journey, giving Joel the backseat, save for a few flashbacks. The characters have incredible dialogue and development and I loved all of them, as evil as a few of them were.

    GAMEPLAY:
    The gameplay in this game is extremely similar to the first game, but more refined and a little less clunky. The controls were greatly improved and I loved the fact that Ellie had her own knife so I didn't have to keep crafting shivs. I also love the new fight animations and the fact that you can now dodge melee attacks. I liked how looting was a more central part to the game as well as exploration. The fact that they incorporated some more platforming elements from the Uncharted games but they didn't make it too superhuman, helped create immersion and made me love the world more than I already did. My only complaint, was that the stealth kill animation for Ellie's knife got pretty tedious to go through towards the end of the game. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the refined gameplay and controls as well as the new fresh elements introduced.

    GRAPHICS AND TECHNICAL ISSUES:
    This is one of the most beautiful games I have ever played, up there with Uncharted 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2. Every little thing is very detailed, from large, vine-covered, collapsing buildings to the tiniest blade of grass. Each character model's face had insane photo-realism and incredible animations. The acting was incredible and officially the best I have ever experienced in a videogame. The environments were amazing and very well thought out. I loved how the game would occasionally drop the player into open environments to explore and discover. I ran into a couple of weird bugs but nothing huge or game-breaking. The lighting, shadows and immersion were innovative and beautiful. I loved ruined Seattle and Jackson as well as Santa Barbara at the end. CONCLUSION:
    This is definitely one of the best games I have ever played and I just do not understand why its getting completely nuked by negative reviews. I can see the flaws but at the same time, I love the game for them. Final review: Play the game. Especially if you like the first game. You might not like it, but you should still have the experience to remember.

    Also side note but, I saw a bunch of things talking about trans characters? I guess this may be referring to Abby, as from a certain angle she lookes a bit masculine but I never thought she was transgender. TL;DR: I love the story, love the characters, love the world, love everything. Please play this game.

Naughtydog's, The last of Us Part 2 can be easily categorized as a technical marvel and one of the best looking games of this generation. From the movement of the grass as wind blows to the splashing of water waves, this game does it all. The sound design can easily make one feel they are part of the world. The Last of Us Part 2 is a game that should be enjoyed with a proper headset. Danger lurks around every corner and even if you anticipate a jump scare, the game will make sure to startle you. The Story which the game provides can be some what polarizing and it's ending can make anyone feel dissatisfied. It gives a possibility that there may be a third game in the series. Unlike the first game, Part 2 excessively calls out for a sequel. Whereas Part 1 was a beautifully crafted and self contained game. But what The Last of Us Part 2 lacks in Story, it covers it up in gameplay. Hand to hand melee combat is refreshing and with the addition of dogs there is a much needed change in stealth gameplay. Gone are the days where you could easily hide in tall grass with the enemy standing next to you. The game shines in higher difficulty where the AI is much more responsive and you will have to think twice before taking a path to your next destination. Overall I would rate the game a 8/10. The game is no where close to perfect but still everyone should give it a shot if they are into linear story driven games.    … Expand

    1.) there are stories that aren't about straight, white men contained in this game. If that triggers you or bums you out, maybe play madden or something.

    2.) there are stories that don't have a happy ending for characters you may have grown to love. If getting non-happy endings triggers you or bums you out, play something else.

    Now that we've addressed the majority of the negative reviews (lol, right?) lets talk about the game itself:

    The Last of Us 2 is brutal. Absolutely brutal. Only a handful of games have made me deep sigh and look around the room to see if anyone can tell how devastated I am (TLOU 1 included). This game does a masterful job of conveying the human element of the incredibly tough choices that we make, and more importantly, why we make them. There is no clear "right or wrong" in this game (with the exception of the rattlers being a **** faction but they were tacked on at the end). And even when you think you might be doing the right thing, the game presents alternative perspectives that make you truly question your choices (forced or otherwise).

    Gameplay wise, the game is nearly perfect. Everything feels updated from the first game, and updated in a way that enhances an actions original purpose. In addition to crouching, we can lay and crawl from a prone position. We can set traps now, further adding a layer of depth to tense stealth standoffs vs infected and enemy factions. And the addition of things like bleed damage due to arrow wounds adds a whole new sense of danger and urgency.

    The level design is pretty great, albeit linear, but that is to be expected from a naughty dog production. The earth reclamation porn is on full display as you traverse post apocalyptic seattle. And boy, does it look incredible.

    The Last Of US 2 is a fantastic game, but I recognize opinions are subjective. If you can envision a pre-fargo cohen bros movie about the brutality of humanity in crisis set in a zombie apocalypse against a beautiful, overgrown, post viral pacific northwest backdrop, you should give this a shot (after you play the first one of course).

    And take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. A lot of people get bummed about stories that don't centralize around a straight male protagonist. So bummed that they take valuable time out of their busy day to log into a review site and crap on a game they haven't actually played.    … Expand

Playing abby in the second half of the game was honestly one of the hardest things i had to do. Yes it felt wrong. But the longer i played the more it really did make u realise that nobody is the good guy. And Ellie and Joel aren't good people. Watching Ellies downfall in emotion was tragic and in my opionion well paced. She was acting in the moment after Joels death and never thought twice about her motive. This was also enhanced by the fact that Tommy felt the same grief and wanted revenge aswell. It was an emotional rolercoaster and seeing Ellie crack and become more and more desparate was at times overwhelming. The flashbacks for me were well needed and decent. I actually like the fact that Ellie didn't kill Abby because she realised that the revenge just wasnt worth it. Losing Joel was hard enough and now she has lost the ability to do the one thing she had left from him (Playing the guitar). Also not killing abby was also similar to when Abby had the choice to kill Dina but Lev acted as her conscience and decided against it. Both characters have anger. Both want revenge. But Ellie became the better person (Even though she killed a lot of people) and let her good memories of Joel take over. I personally loved the game. Was it sad and depressing? Yes. Was it what i was expecting? No. But i can look past that and understand that not everything is made to make people happy with an outcome? Yes! And this game did that brilliantly!… Expand

    The most creative integration of narrative unto gameplay I have ever seen. Haven'y been this involved in a story since Metal Gear Solid 4 I think.
    On the technicolor level, game is arguably one of the best ever.
    There is seriously nothing to hate here. The story is not bad, it just makes you feel bad, for several reasons. It'a powerful message.

    I loved the game and it is awesome. I was tense with every moment, I loved the factions and how they are different. I loved how we could see how the WLFs lived and I was impressed with how big the game turned out to be. It is a must buy for me and I will always have it in my heart.

    Tanto la jugabilidad, la ambientación, los gráficos me parecen de 10.
    Hablando de la historia creo que es donde mas flojea, ya que creo que nunca conectas del todo con Abby, provocando que el final cuando Ellie no la mata no sientas que es lo que realmente Ellie haría haciendo que cuando las dejes viva no pienses en verdad que has hecho "lo correcto", algo que si pasaba en el primero, que tras salvar a Ellie sientes que es verdaderamente lo que haría Joel si fuera una persona real y aunque no sea "lo correcto", sientes como si realmente fuera lo correcto.
    Pero creo que este fallo no perjudica en casi nada en las emociones que nos quieren transmitir con los viajes de Ellie y Abby.
    Recomiendo este juego a todo el mundo y espero que lo podáis disfrutar tanto como yo lo he hecho.    … Expand

I personally never came across any major spoilers and when I actually played the game, I found myself become more invested in Ellie’s journey for justice and vengeance.     Excelente jugabilidad, graficos y detalles, el juego mantiene un excelente ritmo en las primeras 15 horas pero si pierde un poco al final Aun con ello el juego vale muchonla pena, es un hran trabajo pero la meta de superar el primero no es facil, para mi es un 8.5, le doy 9 para aayudarlo un poco con los haters que lo puntuan sin jugarlo.

    I thought this was a great game. I enjoyed the story, wasn’t super thrilled with ending though. I think the writers should have allowed you to have a choice instead of making it for you. The game was a big step up from the first game. The message that the delivers game by the end is abundantly clear. Overall a great game, not better than the first story wise but superior gameplay wise.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I have never experienced a game like this before and have spent countless hours sitting and trying to understand the feelings I have and the meaning behind the game.

    Firstly, The gameplay, graphics, and world are both amazing, that alone makes this one of the best games I have ever played. Never have I been so stressed about attacking an enemy or entering a new area. The game nails this atmosphere, it feels like I am in that world, each encounter with enemies is almost unwanted and frustrating. Infected encounters suck and really add to the experience of being trapped in this terrible world. Every building I entered for supplies, I'd have to evaluate if it was even worth risking running into infected, where in other games the mindset is to just shoot and loot.

    As for the story, I think the Abby gameplay could have implemented better, I have no problem playing as her, I just believe where the transition was placed, the game loses a lot of momentum and I found myself unmotivated for the first couple missions because of all the excitement of the Ellie story.

    That being said, when the two stories intersect with Abby and Manny taking on the sniper, I thought that was where the game really picked up the pace. That experience was amazing, I knew it was Tommy and I was so excited to Abby to realize the **** she caused when she discovered it was Tommy.

    However another gripe I have it the choice to play as Abby in the fight with Ellie, I think this was a total immersion breaker. There was no way I was going to wholeheartedly attack Ellie. In my playthrough I actually let Ellie kill Abby multiple times before I even tried to fight back. This scene is my biggest complaint, but it's only from a gameplay perspective, I think the actual scene was well executed and I understand the actions the characters made.

    Now for the hard part, I wish the game had ended at the farm. I know it couldn't, but it hurt me more than anything else to see Ellie throw her life away for revenge. I feel the worst for Dina whose only mistake was to care for a person who like a drug addict couldn't care about anything else. I know most players were angry that Ellie didn't kill Abby at the end but I was just so mad that Ellie would even go to Santa Barbara that I wasn't even thinking about whether I wanted Abby dead or not. In the end I think the game made the right choice. If Ellie killed Abby I think she would have sat on that beach and realized that she didn't feel different. There is no way for her pain over Joel's death to end unless she grieves and she couldn't do that while dead set on revenge. While it sucks that Abby is alive and I know Joel would have stopped at nothing to kill her, Ellie isn't Joel and I don't think she needs that to heal. Killing Abby would have left Lev in the same way Ellie was left and I think Ellie realized that.

    Coming home to the empty house and not being able to play guitar devastated me. Ellie had talked about teaching J.J. to play guitar and now she couldn't even do that. But I think its symbolic of her free from Joel's power over her life. At the very end, she lost everything, but it was the first time that she could live the life she wanted for herself, independent of the choices others make for her. So people can be mad at what they want, but in my opinion, the Last of us is Joel's story, and part 2 is Ellie's. The whole game is her journey to coming to terms with her relationship with Joel and I think in the end that was executed very well even if it was so painful to endure.

    Like I said, I've never experienced anything like this and don't know if I could ever play through the game again, but the experience was amazing and I'm glad I've played it. I hope they don't make a sequel to Ellie because I like to hope she makes the choices she wants to give her life the meaning shes been looking for ever since Joel took that from her. Plus I love Dina and that baby and think Joel would be happy to see Ellie happy with a family.    … Expand

    I played TLOU 1 and was happy to play TLOU 2, this game is amazing.

    The Last of Us Part 2 is a worthy sequel to the the original last of us, that expands and improves on the gameplay in the original. The story and characters is enthralling and risky...... I love it.

    Part ll it’s such a great game, but i have to admit that is not the master piece that they said at first.
    The gameplay, animations, characters and other things are just fantastic, and this is enough to have more than a 4.5 rate... El único problema sería que la historia trata de empatizar con la que primero se nos presenta como villana, y al final tratan de hacernos comprender por qué hace lo que hacer dentro del juego. En mi caso no generó ese sentimiento hacia Abby, faltó una mejor narrativa para lograrlo.

    Similiar gameplay first one. Amazing visuals. Meh story. People cant handle story some reasons. But game is not garbage. This is just show us how gamers are crybaby. Great example for future gaming company. Always give what fans need. No need experiment. Or this mob come after you.

    A mi me parece que nos dan dos prespectivas de una misma historia, la venganza, una con Ellie, que la está buscando aunque ponga en peligro a sus seres queridos, como Dina o Jesse, y otra de una venganza ya consumada y sus repercusiones, la historia de Abby. La razon de Abby para matar y torturar a Joel me parece que tiene mucho sentido, Joel dando su nombre a unos desconocidos me parece estupido pero tambien tiene sentido para mi, este Joel ya no es el mismo del primer juego, ya no es el contrabandista frio y desconfiado del mundo, ahora tiene una vida tranquila con Tommy y las demas personas con las que convive, volvio a tener lo que los infectados le quitaron, pero aunque salvo a Ellie, sus mentiras la alejaron y eso molesta a Joel constantemente, todo eso hizo que Joel se relaje y no piense que esos extraños quisieran matarle, ademas Tommy ya habia revelado el nombre de Joel mientras escapaban de los infectados. Y la cruzada de Ellie, ella busca a Abby y sin duda si la hubiese encontrado primera en lugar de a los otros lobos, la hubiese matado sin dudarlo, es por el viaje, por todo lo que tuvo que hacer, torturar y matar a los amigos de Abby, se convertía en alguien quien no era, Ellie no estaba a gusto matando a las personas, si, en la campaña nos cargamos a muchos lobos y scars, pero es porque ellos apenas nos ven ya nos disparan, pero cuando nosotros tenemos a una persona a punta de pistola Ellie solo le pregunta por Abby, hasta que intentan atacar a Ellie, todo esto se hara notar al final. La tan agridulce parte de Abby, yo cuando empece a jugar como Abby pense, me haran jugar como la asesina de Joel, que hdp, pero al final ya no pensé asi, la forma en la que muere su padre haria que cualquiera pierda la cordura, un tipo cualquiera viene, mata a tu padre y a muchas luciernagas y se lleva la unica posible vacuna en contra del virus que azota el mundo, para ella Joel es un villano total, solo nosotros los jugadores sabemos lo que pasaron Joel y Ellie y por eso los queremos tanto, pero lo que hizo Joel, ni Ellie pudo perdonarlo, en fin, lo que pasó Abby luego de matar a Joel es un infeirno, quien diga que Ellie y Tommy no se vengaron, no jugaron el juego, todas las personas cercanas de Abby murieron a manos de Ellie y Tommy, a causa de su venganza, Owen, Mel, Nora, el tipo al que Tommy disparo en la cara, creo que era Manny, asesinados a sangre fria, Nora hasta fue torturada, eso suena mucho peor a que Ellie solo mate a Abby, y sumandole lo que pasó en la isla Scarr, la muerte de Yara, Abby sufrió muchisimo a causa de haberse vengado de Joel, y aunque hubiese matado a Ellie y Tommy cuando pudo, Maria, Dina, Jesse y todo Jackson los buscarian y habria otra guerra con mas muertes, lo unico que le quedó era Lev, ese niño que la salvó, era lo unico que le quedaba, por eso no mató a Ellie cuando pudo, ya sufrió la muerte de sus amigos por la venganza, por eso no se vengó de Ellie, por Lev, tambien quiero destacar la parte del hospital que me tuvo con los pelos de punta y la parte de la pelea final entre lobos y scars, eso estuvo intenso y buenisimo. En fin, el final, para mi Ellie ya no odiaba a Abby, ella no podia vivir con ella misma por no poder haber perdonado a Joel, el se fue sin que ella pueda perdonarlo, y se odia mas a si misma por no querer matar a Abby, Joel tampoco querria ese camino para ella, Abby ni siquiera se iba a defender, Ellie la obliga a pelear, para mi el final nos muestra de nuevo las consecuencias de la venganza y del rencor, Ellie pierde a Dina, a su hijo, pierde los dedos para tocar la guitarra que Joel le enseño a tocar, y si mataba a Abby se iba a perder a ella misma, lo se, suena cursi o sentimental, pero asi son los humanos, y asi es Ellie a mi parecer, entiendo muchos fans esten decepcionados por que no la mato, matarla es lo que los fans queriamos, torturó a nuestro idolo Joel, aunque ya pago y con intereses por haberlo matado. Para mi, es final es eso, un final, no lo senti bueno ni malo, lo senti real, en la vida no todo termina de forma espectacular, y eso vemos constantemente en el juego, no le doy puntaje, solo dire que a mi me encantó, me sorprendió, no era lo que esperaba y me hizo pensar mucho en las decisiones de los personajes, en fin, un juego que sera odiado y amado, pero dificilmente olvidado.    … Expand

Да она немного хуже 1 части, но не критично.Мне игра не понравилась тем,что мы очень долго играли за эбби,я лично ни капли к ней не привязался,и мы билли элли. Как это понять вообще? я швырнул джойстик ,бить элли? вы бы еще заставили убить Джоэла . И само собой финал был нелогичным и смазанным,цель игры не была достигнута. Эбби заслужила смерть.     We all should be open to this new way of storytelling if we R gonna go through the new gen games with novel ideas..gamplay and graphics are cool.. as well as voice acting... story was emotional..it the game's story.. not sth we would order that would match our taste

    Most of the people who rate this based teir rating on the spoiler or just streamed it on YT. I can assure you that half of these people havent even played the game. Just because something doesnt go your way you would cry about it. They did Joel wrong I must admit but still the story and the journey of ellie is worth the experience

    Propels the future of gaming ahead in ways not unlike the first. Extraordinary performances, impeccable world building and stunningly rendered animation and action. Don’t listen to the triggered gamerboys. This “game” is extraordinary and filled with humanity and passion. We should be so lucky to have more like it.

    Great game, Amazing graphics, improved game mechanics, gorgeous yet realistic cinematic sequences and a fabulous narrative . Keep an open mind on the story, it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea it’s a tragic tale after all.

    Graphics are insane,gameplay is on point,the story,especially the ending got me pissed off, but for any one who played through it all,Will know is about breaking the cycle of violence, its a masterpiece for me, reminds me of an old adage,he who lives by the sword, dies by the sword,something like that, so its a 10 all the way.

    7 years after the masterpiece that was The Last Of Us, The Last Of Us Part II was the perfect love song and sequel to its predecessor. Filled with vengeance, love, and loss, the sequel does more than keep you on the edge of your seat with it’s immersive storytelling, beautiful graphics, and twists and turns guaranteed to leave you speechless.
    Plot: within the first hour, Joel is tragically tortured and killed by a new character known as Abby and her group. It’s not clear who she is but you later find out that she and another accomplice are former fireflies and we as the player come to the conclusion that their act was simply a retaliation after what Joel had done back at the hospital controlled by the Fireflies. This sends Ellie and Joel’s brother Tommy on a warpath to avenge Joel’s murder and kill each and every last person that was present during the execution. Gripped by fear, anger, and a sense of guilt, Ellie’s journey through the story is met by hardships and heavy losses with nothing but her sheer will to settle the score. With the exceptional character development by the writers you learn that Abby and Ellie are just 2 sides of the same coin when you find out that Abby’s father was the lead doctor and surgeon that was gunned down by Joel during his shakedown of the hospital. Ellie and Abby’s final showdown is nothing less than a tear jerker knowing both of these strong female leads want nothing but to alleviate the heavy burden both of them carry.     Jogo sensacional, o jeito que foi mostrado todos os espectros do sentimento ódio/vingança mostrando as consequências de atos passados de alguns personagens enquanto mostra as os sentimentos e motivações dos dois lados foi demais, realmente visceral e impactante a maneira como esse jogo te induz a sentir oq ele quer passar, seja raiva, angustia, antecipação e em algumas partes medo, gosteiJogo sensacional, o jeito que foi mostrado todos os espectros do sentimento ódio/vingança mostrando as consequências de atos passados de alguns personagens enquanto mostra as os sentimentos e motivações dos dois lados foi demais, realmente visceral e impactante a maneira como esse jogo te induz a sentir oq ele quer passar, seja raiva, angustia, antecipação e em algumas partes medo, gostei demais do jogo e de como a história é desenvolvida e contada, gameplay ótimo e cadenciado expandindo tudo o que tinha no primeiro, e o level design nem se fala, ta sensacional.… Expand

    La verdad es que es un juegazo. No se a que vienen los comentarios negativas, nadie se a atrevido a llevar una historia tan arriesgada supongo. Pero lo que hace alucinante es el dolor que sientes por Ellie al ver que se esta autodestruyendo para vengar a Joel. Y el cambio de guion al respecto de que intentan que enfatices con Abby. Por lo menos, en mi caso logro enfatizar y me gustaría ver una tercera parte con esta HISTORIA.    … Expand

It seems the people who rate it above 7/10 can actually articulate why they have given it the score they have. The negative reviews just seem inaccurate, missing key points in the game that counter there own arguments. Or are just so in love with Joel they can’t move past his death. It’s a meta game, I hated what the leaks said, I also hated the game for the first 10 hours. Once I reflected on what happens, and how it happened. I love what they did. It’s not perfect, but rarely does a game come along that will burrow this deep under your skin. For good and bad reason. The game is a 9/10 for me, but given the huge amount of 0/10 by salty “fans” I’m giving it a 10 to try and balance it out.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
