The only thing that maybe isn't so good is the addition of new characters that lack character, and also the death of Joel the best character of Naughty Dog, it's awful for someone like he, another tedious thing was to play with Abby because it's really hard to get her to feel sorry for her, but then it's a great game… Expand

    The game is solid. The gameplay is ultra smooth and fun, and the addition of prone stealth and proximity mines was very welcome. Not going to lie, the jarring experience of switching to Abby bugged me (both bc she’s been the antagonist for 14 hours-ish and bc her character progression starts completely over in terms of ability unlocks). To say that was a emotional ride would be an understatement.

    The payoff for playing as Abby came in the parallels between her and Joel, from craftable shivs required for stealth kills to the act of turning on her allies to save a child. I felt like she learned something about how her actions affected others.

    The ending was tragic. No other words really. But overall, the game was a very enjoyable experience and well-made.    … Expand

Uno de los mejores juegos de la generación actual, las mecánicas de jugabilidad son muy parecidas a la primera parte pero mejoradas visualmente fantástico te anima a explorar y disfrutar el entorno ,BRUTALIDAD en el sistema de combate ,mejoras de habilidades y armamento que te animan a explorar y obtener los componentes para mejorar ambas.

    La historia es su punto mas débil pues en la primera parte nos hacen encariñarnos con los protagonistas, en esta segunda parte rompe literalmentencon esto ,esto es al parecer un cierre ala historia de Joel y Ellie de las repercusiones de las acciones de Joel un camino de venganza de Ellie, y las validas intensiones de venganza de una co-protagonista Abi ,que si al final no empatizas con ella por obvias razones, terminas entendiendo sus intenciones.

    La Historia es bien contada un poco forzada en algunas partes pero nada que no te haga disfrutar y divertirte en el juego

    En un punto muy personal creo que no es un juego para fanboys que les gusta que el protagonista siempre salga victorioso y en un cuento de hadas ,esto es una historia cruda muy real ,brutal en la narrativa con tantas muertes, toca temas normales en la vida para personas abiertas que existen en el mundo real con cero mentalidad retrograda como LGBT, muerte de animales, muerte de personas asiáticas afroamericanas etc.y como parte central la venganza y sus consecuencias negativas.

    Es un gran juego y me atrevo a decir que a pesar de que los haters no les guste por lo menos estará entre los candidatos de mejor juego del año.

    Se la jugaron por una experiencia que sale de los parámetros de lo obvio en cuanto historia engrandeciendo con maestría el manejo de la potencia de un PS4 Felicidades Naughty Dog y a todos los involucrados por hacerme pasar un gran experiencia y sobre todo por hacer un juego mas humano y real.    … Expand

    Absolutely stunning, albeit heartbreaking. This game deserves a play through. Not many games attempt to pull off what Part 2 does, let alone do it successfully. While this game does not deserve the amount of negativity it is getting, the controversy surrounding the story is a testament to this game’s ability to truly evoke emotions within the player. Any game, movie, book, song etc thatAbsolutely stunning, albeit heartbreaking. This game deserves a play through. Not many games attempt to pull off what Part 2 does, let alone do it successfully. In addition, while I personally found the ending hauntingly and terribly beautiful, it is sure to draw a hard line in the sand for many fans.     Definitely not for the weak minded simply because it gets very graphically brutal. Story was solid but few scenes were a little slow so i started using my phone while listening to the story. I feel the political correctness was a little forced in this game as it kind of stood out. Other than that, I was fully immersed in the story, atmosphere, character developments. Well done.

    On gameplay alone gives this a 10/10 for me. It's super immersive, and seamless in its transitions between payable areas and cutscenes- the qualities of a perfect cinematic game. However, the storyline was a little depressing at times, and I felt like the characters were doing things I wouldn't do; in the context of roleplaying as the character, I was able to look past those grievances.

    I don't know why this game is getting so much hate. You have to play it completely through to grasp the meaning of the story. Yes things happen that you may not like but that's how life is and that's what Naughty Dog did. They delivered a real game with real life scenarios.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Was hyped about the game since it was announced and I have forced myself to not watch a single trailer until I got to play the game to keep the entire surprise to myself.

    And what a surprise when I started the game to see Joel be beaten to death by this unknown character from an unknown group. I was taken by the guts and wanted revenge just as much as Ellie in what seemed to be a long-to be adventure to Seattle.

    However, where I was first disappointed was when I thought we would have a Ellie/Dina adventure all the way from Wyoming to Seattle filled with beautiful scenaries and interesting dialogs in a TLoU1-like adventure just turned into a teleportation all the way to Seattle. From there, it was just an overdose of gunfights with enemy and infected until the part where you control Abby for the second part of the game, to re-do a Seattle-through adventure but by another point of view, which is, also, excessively filled with gunfights at the point I was just forcing myself to play in Seattle Day 3 in order to get to know the end of the story.

    The end of the story, which was according to popular opinion, somehow completely rubbish was in my opinion really deep and relatable as to see Ellie's character which developed into the young lady she is now and all the terrible things she had to suffer and to see her completely, completely exhausted in the final fight with Abby and who just wants everything to stop and regrets going on such a revenge quest.

    It was just overwhelmingly sad to see Ellie, which I thought had somewhat of a bright future in Tommy's camp, forced to fight again and to lose everything and everyone she loved and lived for. And to see her going back to the farm where she left Dina to see an abandonned and emptied house was a very sad yet, to me, satisfying end to the game and made me feel so sorry for Ellie.

    She had everything, and this everything all went away in an instant and she lost so much more, including her soul, by going on a revenge quest accross the country. Which maybe, for some of the haters out there, could be something for them to reflect on.

    In conclusion : I really loved the game and I think the story was just amazing but I think in terms of gameplay choices, there was way too many gunfights and meaningless confrontations as long with an excessively long part of playing Abby for a player that wanted to know more about Ellie. Another thing to avoid such disapointment amongst players would have been to give to the players the choice to either kill Abby or not, and possibly, see the results of our actions on Ellie's mental health.

    If I would have one advice to anyone who wants to play the game after playing The Last of Us Part 1, just play it, but gradually, and just let yourself be carried by the story this game has to tell.    … Expand

Não sou nenhum profissional,nenhum jornalista,mas vou da minha opinião sobre esse jogo, já adianto que eu achei o jogo uma obra prima , eu só tive uma experiência tão imersiva como eu tive nesse jogo em 2 jogos : the witcher 3 e god of war PS4, agora eu vou falar do que eu acho que é 90% dos motivos que o jogo está recebendo notas baixas , o final , para muitos o final é decepcionante, mas pra mim, eu achei que o final foi fantástico , porque desligue um pouco do seu cérebro e pare pensar de pensar só na Ellie e no Joel, entenda a motivação da Abby para ela ter matado o Joel, o Joel assassinou o pai dela , então tente entender um pouco do lado da Abby , e eu criei uma relação muito forte com a Abby nós momentos de gameplay que eu tive com ela , eu amei a relação dela com o lev e a Yara , embora eu tenha ficado muito, muito triste pela morte da Yara, mas a relação que ela cria com eles dois é sensacional, Abby desceu um prédio de 20 andares coberto de infectados, foi no hospital epicentro da epidemia para a Yara conseguir sobreviver.     The way this game makes you feel guilt and remorse for your actions is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. The shifting of perspectives really plays with who you feel truly aligned with. I never though I would cry for a “Villain” but this game made me. I’m still digesting the ending and will definitely start a second play through immediately.

Judging by the metacritic score, even the people who hate this game clearly care enough to review-bomb it with this kind of passion. If nothing else, this stands as a testament to the lasting influence of the first game.

    While I disagree with most of the complaints I've read about this game's story, I certainly have a few gripes with the gameplay:

    The combat is thrilling, an asymetric game of cat and mouse that leaves me feeling both vulnerable and unstoppable. Every weapon feels devastating. Scrambling around each battleground diving for cover and flanking enemies never gets old. If the rumors of this game getting post-launch multiplayer end up being true, I'd be ecstatic.

    Gathering supplies, on the other hand, always feels like a chore instead of the treasure hunt I wish it was. It's something I'd like to skip, but the scarcity of crafting materials means you're always short on something essential.

    That said, exploration itself is engaging thanks to the environmental storytelling. There are so many details tucked away that flesh out the game's world. I recall one bulletin board post in Jackson City asking if anyone had a child's coat to spare, implying someone's child has lost theirs. Below that posting, on a yellow sticky note, is a message from Dina demanding that whoever stole this kid's coat better give it back or else. It's a great expression of her character that's easily missed, but if you pay attention, there are dozens of details just like it scattered around the world.

    Which is why it's really annoying when you try opening a door or squeezing through a passageway hoping to explore a side room, only to get railroaded into a cutscene that locks you out of the previous area. Everything in the game looks natural, which is great, but it means going down "the story path" is often an accident instead of a choice. The autosave feature activates frequently, meaning you have a chance of missing valuable supplies and collectibles through no fault of your own.

    Graphically, the game is gorgeous, which I don't think anyone really disagrees with. The animations, however, do so much work in fleshing out each character that I cannot understand those who argue that they're underdeveloped. The quality of the motion capture technology means every nuance in each actor's performance is portrayed beautifully in the game. Every facial tic, every sidelong glance, it all expresses a wealth of inner dialogue that simply wouldn't be possible otherwise.

    And that's about as far as I can go without talking about the story. The Last of Us Part 2 is, on the surface, a story about revenge. Every major action in the game is a reaction to some sin that came before it, stemming from arguably the greatest sin in this game's universe: Joel's choice to save Ellie and doom the rest of mankind. Those who played the first game know that, while they may not agree with Joel's decision, they know him enough to understand why he had to make it.

    In saving Ellie, Joel saves himself from losing his humanity. He also, however, robs Ellie of the meaning she desperately needed her life to have. Joel's lie to her, that her immunity meant nothing, was the key choice that made the ending so memorable. We know Joel has done something unforgivable. We know that the consequences for his decision will likely be devastating. And for seven years, we've had to live with the question of what those consequences would turn out to be.

    As of this writing, 47,676 metacritic users are upset enough about how those consequences played out that they're comparing The Last of Us Part 2 to season 8 of Game of Thrones: A conclusion so poorly executed that it retroactively ruins all that came before.

    And the thing is, it's hard to argue with that. My experience with this game left me depressed, exhausted, and haunted. The consequences of Joel's decision are as brutal as they are inevitable, and The Last of Us Part 2 asks us to play, often unwillingly, as characters who are unable to avoid ruining their lives and the lives of those they care about. Every sacrifice and victory from the first game is paid back in the second with tragedy and heartbreak. Even this game's few moments of brightness are overshadowed by the coming storm.

    And yet.

    I believe that everything that happens in this game could not have happened any other way. That The Last of Us Part 2 refuses to pretend that Joel's trauma would not somehow infect Ellie and everyone else around him is a massive credit in its favor. The story's job isn't to give Joel and his loved ones a happy ending. The story's job is to explore how that trauma is passed down through each character and whether or not they can escape it before it destroys them completely.

    I believe it succeeds in that goal. I give this game a 10 out of 10.    … Expand

    This a Quality game, the story may not be as good or creative as the first, but there is still a lot of passion in the story telling and overall pacing. Hey guys maybe think about WHY Abby killed Joel, I loved Joel as much as all of you but to say Abby is a **** character is a bit dumb. Ellie and Abby both go through tough scenarios and it makes for a story that heavily thrives on the events of the original, Also the gameplay is a HUGE upgrade from the first game's gameplay, and the graphics look pretty damn good too, I respect your decision to not like this game, the story was very subjective and more people hated it then they liked it. I liked it but I feel Naughty Dog should've thought things out a tad bit more to appeal to more people. Thanks for Listening    … Expand

The gameplay is much more diverse and refined than the first, and every aspect that was loved in the first has been improved. Combat is especially amazing, where every situation can be approached entirely differently. Environments feel more full and alive, as if people actually inhabited it before everything turned apocalyptic. Graphics are flawless and there were several moments where I questioned whether it was real time rendering or real life. The soundtrack is just as daunting and saddening as the first one, with tunes that fill me with both nostalgia and sadness. The performances by each actor is Oscar worthy and deserves many praises. Ultimately this game is flawless, despite what people criticize it for. The story is compelling and every choice has weight that left me on the edge of my seat. A definite must play for anyone who enjoys video games, and a game that will surely last a lifetime.… Expand

Como a morte do Joel logo no começo do jogo é muito triste e você sente como a Elie está dominada pela a raiva e como a morte dele não é em vão pois tem um motivo maior.     This game is truly a masterpiece. Seeing all the diversity in this game was very nice. The story is fantastic, the graphics are stunning, and the acting is incredible. There isn't a single part of the game that I don't want to replay.

    Incredible game. Just finished it and I'm still in awe. Although I initially didn't care much for the franchise to even have a sequel (and didn't plan on playing the game), I still did and don't regret it. I loved the first game and this one definitely gave me closure. Even though the ending was not satisfactory, it was realistic.

When I had to put it down for breaks I was thinking about it in my free time. I’m 30 this year and find it hard to stick out games and finish them completely but this masterpiece plays out like a 30+ hour **** movie. It’s tense, emotional, and just **** fun. I almost cried twice during it. I spent so much time just walking around slowly enjoying the games beautiful environments. If you own a playstation you owe it to yourself to see the limits of what this generation is capable of.

    My only recommendation is play on one of the last two difficulty settings to get the true experience of how intense and desperate these characters stories are. Easily one of my favourite games this gen.    … Expand

    Un juego excelente en CASI todas las categorías, buenos gráficos y gameplay exquisito que retoma y mejora mucho del primer juego, simplemente hubiese preferido otra historia o una mejor contada y estructurada y no algo forzada
    Pero de igual manera fue una buena historia con un buen enfoque.

    So far its the best game. The writer is very smart till a point where he controls your emotions toward any character! Gameplay + graphics + sound effects are insane.

Al inicio del juego al ver los gráficos, me agrado de inmediato, tan solo en la transición de cinemática a pasar a jugar Me pareció bien, no pude notar casi ningun corte en ese aspecto.
    Pasando a jugabilidad, me pareció bien las mecánicas que se implementan.
    Ya pasando a la historia del juego, no me pareció mal, deecho estuvo bien implementada, solo que no se especifica que este juego no es para todo publico, va dirigida a un público más maduro.
    Y por ultimo las cosas que en lo personal:
    1. No me parecieron del todo bien fue que joel muriera, claro, quiero pensar que a la mayoría no le agrado la idea de que el personaje principal de la entrega pasada muriese, pero es entendible, ya que sirve bien para la mecánica que tiene el juego de venganza, este es el motor que arranca la travecia de ellie.
    2. En lo personal no me gusto controlar a abby durante tanto tiempo, se entiende que el juego quiere que empatices y te pongas en el lugar de este, pero creo que llegue a empatizár mas con lev y yara, creo que si hubieran reducido a la mitad el tiempo de uso de abby y hubieran ido mas al grano sobre cual es su motivación y lo que había pasado esta, hubiera estado excelente.
    Conclusión final:
    En lo personal yo siento que este juego va dirigido para un público más maduro y que si bien no es un juego de 10 yo le daría un 93, ya que este logra su cometido al momento de que matan a Joel te dan la sensación de enojo y angustia,de hecho está muy bien logrado lo que quieren transmitir. Otra cosa es que siento que la historia la pudieron hacer más corta si hubieran ido un poco más al grano a lo que querían dar entender y ya por último para no hacer esto más largo el final al principio no lo entendí pero pero ya recapacitando durante un rato según lo que yo entendí es que ellie perdono a abby por que En ese momento tuvo un recuerdo de Joel en el cual él no estaba muriendo era como la parte bondadosa que quedaba en ella, Ya que si prestamos atención en el juego se muestra que ellie se siente culpable al matar a gente lo cual es muy diferente a Joel en el primer juego ya que el podía matar a mucha gente con tal de salvarla, ya por último cuando Elli vuelve a la casa que tenía con Dina ve que está vacía y se da cuenta de lo que perdió por querer cumplir con el cometido de su venganza, Al subir a la segunda planta ve que Dina dejó todas sus cosas incluida la guitarra que le regaló Joel y al no poder tocarla a falta de sus dos dedos recuerda la última vez que pudo hablar con Joel donde está le dice que no sabe si podrá perdonar, pero que le gustaría intentarlo Y así ésta se marcha dejando la guitarra que es el único recuerdo que tiene de Joel, En señal de que Ellie pudo perdonar a Joel.

    Grafica ottima, comparto tecnico ottimo, sceneggiatura superlativa. Il lavoro di Nauthy Dog è semplicemente scioccante, un ottimo titolo. Alla base del titolo ci sono i sentimenti più forti che costituiscono l'uomo come tale. 9 perchè la perfezione non esiste, piccolissimi bug e gameplay dinamico ma lineare del punto di vista della componente stealth.     This game is a masterpiece. It's story and the messages it crafts through it's narrative and the gameplay are important and could not be better conveyed via any other medium. The last of us part 2 also one of the most incredible examples of worldbuilding I've had the pleasure of experiencing. The manner in which Naughty Dog has realized post apocalypse Seattle is breathtaking.

It may not be as good as the first, but it isn't as horrible as everyone is making it out to be. personally, i'd say it's definitely worth a play through because its still hella fun and u might be taken by surprise if u play it urself rather than watch a streamer complain the whole time.
    That being said there are some issues with the game, mainly pacing and some story parts are kinda pointless - but it's better to experience it urself and come to ur own conclusion rather than some angry gamer ranting on the internet without true justification.    … Expand

The story being told here is one some may feel unnecessary after the pretty definitive ending of the first, however The Last of Us Part 2 makes itself feel very necessary with the simplistic story idea but the twists and turns it gives you with its 25 hour campaign. I would like to address the leaks as that is a major cause of the review bombing on this site (along with homophobes, transphobia, and those who believe Naughty Dog has some liberal agenda). A majority of the leaks happen very early on, and the cutscenes are taken very much so out of context. Playing through this game, Naughty Dog concocts a rich story and rich characters. Joel and Ellie aren’t how you remember them, they’ve changed for better or for worse. Joel has grown trusting and loving, Ellie, has grown more stubborn and angsty. Both of these things feel extremely natural after the ending of the first game. Many critique Joels death for him being too trusting of Abby but after the ending of the last game you get a good sense of Joel’s change. As for Abby being a playable character, having heard the leaks I was unsure of this. Playing the character who kills a beloved character? That sounds awful! But Naughty Dog does this amazingly well. You get a fantastic sense of Abby as a character and her motivation through flashbacks and the other characters she interacts with. Specifically everything with Yara and Lev were great for Abbys character and helping me like and understand her. The Yara and Lev plotline reminded me a lot of Joel and Ellie from the first game honestly. Ellie is ruthless in this game. Every action has consequences thanks to Naughty Dogs AI interactions. Screaming the names of other enemy AI or the enemy AI screaming in pain as the color drains from their eyes. It’s brutally fantastic and makes you as a player feel horrible. I loved it! It made me feel Ellie’s character arc even more. Many have said they felt unsatisfied by not killing Abby at the end and to that I say the message of the game was never truly revenge, rather learning revenge isn’t the right answer. Abby struggles and so does Ellie. They have a very similar journey. Naughty Dog has proven to be an innovator in story telling with every game they make. This is a masterpiece honestly. Do not listen to the review bombs. The fact that how many critics gave this such good reviews should say something. This game has a story that needs to be told. It’s heart breaking, uplifting and goddamn, Future Days by Pearl Jam will forever make me cry. The Last of Us Part 2 is a masterpiece in video game storytelling.… Expand

    It's a 25-30 hours game + 10 hours of cut scenes. This game had some VERY intense game play and jump scares. But nothing beats the deep story and messages in it. I loved every minute of it. Any fan of brutal fun extreme violence will have a blast playing this. Definitely not meant for children or people with low IQ.

It's just not as perfect as the first, which of course is a high standard to meet.

    If you're willing to play it with an open mind (and truly play through it to the end. Do NOT stop in the middle), then I highly recommend it.

    Wonderful game. I love what they've done with the fighting and mobility. The graphics, of course, are amazing. The story is incredibly exciting. I was frustrated playing as Abby, but I really enjoyed learning about her side of that life. The ending was wonderfully satisfying. The characters seemed to grow throughout the entire game. I hope they e expand and maybe develop a dlc for Tommy.

It’s really shocking the way they make you think who is the villain, but then you realize that in that world there are no villains, just people trying to survive in a world sunk in decay. The acts of revenge and forgiveness are play a main role, they trigger all the events in the game. The ending made me feel miserable, just as Ellie, but that’s what’s supposed to happen, sometimes there are no rewards for our actions, even in our own reality. It makes you think “all the things that I’ve done, and where did they drive me to”.… Expand

Volviendo a lo de Joel, no había otra forma de desarrollar al personaje, creo que fue buena decisión matarlo además que no era la mejor persona que digamos, si vemos la historia de parte de Abby te das cuenta como era una mierda de persona ._0 A lo único que discrepo en ésta decisión es el como muere, estoy en desacuerdo total del como lo golpea Abby y como se confía tan rápido de ellos. The only reason I give this game a 9 instead of a 10 is because of the amount of political propaganda in it. I just wanted an outlet to post how I personally felt playing through this game. So, a few years back (2016) I picked up TLOA 1 for the first time and I couldn't put it down. I was completely immersed in the characters, the scenery, and the plot. I would go to class and think about this game. I was so absorbed by a video game that I would daydream about the next big event in the game during exams.... I'm surprised I even did that well during that semester. Anyways, what I'm saying is that I believe that the first game was indeed a masterpiece. I played through it twice back to back simply because I couldn't get enough! Fast forward to this year. Luckily my work keeps me busy and I don't usually search for updates on a game that comes out. I was spared from the leaks and spoilers throughout my journey in TLOA2. In fact, I had no idea there was such a negative backing on this game until after I beat it! Whoever is reading this is probably thinking "how the hell did you not see or read any of the thousands of negative reviews?" well... I'm really good at staying away from reviews I guess. I think that I understand why a lot of people are angry or upset, I mean the old main character died! Joel was a character you bonded with. You grew to relate to his feelings in TLOA, and his emotions became your own. It was so easy to become attached to such a beloved character. Yes, killing him promotes awful feelings and the ending of TLOA2 might have you thinking that it's all for naught. Ellie, who lost so many people due to the gripping effects of rage and revenge, chose to spare Abby. **** I mean I was certainly filled with mixed emotions about the end. I wanted closure! I wanted to avenge Joel's death! However, as I listened to the music and I saw Ellie play that last song with missing fingers... The flashbacks to Joel and her last conversation (well second to last. The last was just her pleading and begging him to get up before losing his brains to the she hulk and a golf club) made me think that the whole point wasn't to bring the player closure. This is some serious **** that real human beings experience. Ellie was so devasted by Joel's death that she was suffering PTSD. Holy **** Killing Abby won't make Joel come back. Revenge just brings on more revenge. Revenge feels so good at first... But it just brings out the worst in a person. I've had my own feelings of revenge, I mean I've never wanted to kill someone because of that feeling, but I think the premise is the same. I felt awful going through with it because even though the other person probably deserved what they got, was it really right for me to bring someone misery based on my emotions? Probably not.

    TLOA2 brings forth some serious questions and issues about how people process revenge and anger. This game isn't just a story about a post apocalyptic world, it's a story about showing some real emotional trauma that people go through in their lives. It's exaggerated of course. This game sent me on an emotional roller coaster from start to finish. The writing was great, the characters were well developed. Every death felt like an impact or a shock. It's like you knew it was coming but you didn't know how or when. That really puts you in a suspenseful mindset, or at least it did for me. I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Yeah I was sad that Joel died, but I'm not angry. I think it's dumb to be angry at a developer for making a decision in their work. What's the point of being mad? I'm very grateful to live in a time where a video game can create such an amazing experience for me. I grew to love and feel for the characters in TLOA2. Yes, even Abby had some of my sympathy. She lost her father, a hero who would have potentially found the cure to a 2 decade long apocalyptic disease.,for what reason? Joel wanted to value one person's life over humanity's future. So yeah, I understood her side. If someone killed my mom of dad, I'm sure I'd want to bring them to justice. Even if justice was through my own hands.... I'm only human. My heart would race when a difficult situation would arise, whether it be two main characters finally confronting or one of the main characters fighting for their lives against hulking enemies or infected. There was a lot of investment that naturally developed as I progressed through the game. I personally am very happy that I played the game. I actually popped open my copy of TLOA part 1 and began playing it from the beginning again. I've never had the incentive to revisit a game like I have with the TLOA series. This, I guess, is more of an explanation of my personal experience with this game and not so much a cold hard review. I enjoyed it immensely! As someone who avoided all the hype, spoilers, and leaks, I can say that this game was truly amazing. Playing through it blind was the absolute best way to play.    … Expand

    The story is phenomenal, heart-wrenching, and genuinely surprising. I was someone who had a few story beats spoiled from the leaks, and I can genuinely say it did not spoil the game at all. As for gameplay, this is a dramatic improvement over its predecessor, though the AI is not quite as smart as was touted in early previews. Still, the combat loop is fun. This is definitely Naughty Dog'sThe story is phenomenal, heart-wrenching, and genuinely surprising. Achei o jogo incrível eu sei que muita gente n gostou pq o joel morreu infelizmente o jogo não é perfeito mais os gráficos,trilha sonora e gameplays PERFEITO!!! eles realmente erraram um pouco na história a parte que a Ellie tava com a dina é Joel morrendo algo que não gostei muito é final muitos acharam "ruim" pq a abby não morreu etc, mais eu achei justo e ótimo vou zerar de novo pq achei muito bom essa é a minha opnião é claro… Expand

    Ignore the thousands of entitled losers who rated this game zero in the first few hours after release and therefore didn't actually have time to play.

    I've finished the game and in my opinion I have to say this game is a masterpiece. I thought the first game was the best game ever, now I think it's this game.

    Not having read the spoilers before playing, I must say this is a story with some questionable character motivations.

    That said, I think ND must be commended for taking the risk and took the characters down a (dark) path that they knew would be polarising. Score actually a 7 because it’s not a perfect game and leaves a really bad taste in your mouth. However it doesn’t deserve a 4.5 so    Not having read the spoilers before playing, I must say this is a story with some questionable character motivations.

    That said, I think ND must be commended for taking the risk and took the characters down a (dark) path that they knew would be polarising.

    It's a really polish and and well done game. The story is not that deep and powerful as the first one but is a game absolutely well done.

    This game was incredible. I was definitely hesitant at part and didn’t know if I would like the decisions they were making, but naughty dog has created something that is incredibly powerful and amazing.

Couldn't agree more and it's sad that other people can't see it, and the outrage wouldn't have happened if the plot points didn't get leaked. And regardless of story, it can't be denied the visuals, environments, acting and gameplay is superb.     The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
