    Realmente tenía al juego por las nubes desde antes que se estrenara, pero por dios, si van a entregarnos un producto háganlo bien. Quiero decir, la jugabilidad y una que otra mecánica están bien hechas, se podría decir que son excelentes, pero el guión y la historia en general es lo que no puedo tolerar:Una inclusión forzada, guión completamente vacío y sin saber a dónde quiere ir. Un claro ejemolo de esto es Sailor Moon, y con sus personajes lgbt, en ningún momento se sienten forzados y cada quién tiene una personalidad propia, otro ejemplo podría ser Life is Strange, con personajes mejor construidos y bien implementados.     The graphics and the voice acting in this game is definitely great. Though there is not a lot of improvement in gameplay, it was only a few new things that you can do. The story though started great, but after that one scene, it went all downhill. Overall, there are a few good things about this game that can't be denied, but the story makes it hard and unbearable to play.

All you do is kill. You kill for 30 hours! I could play WoW or Path of exile, kill for 30 hours and feel much better than after this game. Lame... Hope it fails tbh, games should feel good and rewarding for being played! Bioshock infinite had a better story than this attempt at a point and shoot game.

    Far cry 5 had a very interesting approach which made the player indeed feel odd and unpleasant, unfulfilled with the ending, but that was a charm, because up to that point the gane was 12/10    … Expand

    Overall it's not that bad of a game. A truly average one with progressive political bias, good graphics and good locations. A acceptable game, but a mock as the continuation of the first game. I would give a better rating if they changed the name of the characters and sold it as anything else but tlou.

    What a sad turn this franchise got. I don't see more future for it anymore.

    Solid gameplay. Excellent setting with an audience of people that love the first game. All ruined by mediocre writing and some of the least sympathetic characters you'll ever see in a video game. What's worse is that you're forced to play as that character and the writers seem to expect you to be all lovey dovey for them.

With Joel, the character killed off in a lazy way. Who is tied for 1 best character in the series. Hating Abby from the start, playing her the 1st time was annoying, playing her for half of the game made me hate her even more somehow. Wasting so much time on characters that literally nobody cares about was easily the most ridiculous decision I've ever scene in modern gaming.

    Having the primary climax of the game be from the perspective of a character I already hate was just pathetic. Ellie basically has no interaction with the Scars, no interaction with the trans kid whatever his name was, and we waste time reviewing backstory for characters the MAIN character already killed, levels upon levels upon pointlessness. Then having Abby beat up Ellie made me dislike this character even more somehow. Somehow they managed. And then Ellie doesn't even end up with Dina at the end of the game. I get having a gritty realistic story but this was 24 hours of pointless gameplay.

    Having us play as her with her dad was enough to get the player to empathize with Abby, did not need to play most of the game as her, who cares. Forcing these characters into the game mid sentence was the most infuriating thing I have ever scene in a game. Interrupt the most pivotal part of the story to shove new characters in, both of which are not in the least interesting, don't develop at all, and have no character traits other than a description of their gender and sexuality was a massive waste of time. They also get in the way of time that could have been spent with Dina. Ellie and Dina have great chemistry as characters and they are shoved to the side for what? Why on Earth you would build up some of the most beloved characters in gaming and then waste our time with this nonsense is beyond me.

    Joel's death led up to nothing, Abby's story led up to nothing, Ellie tracking her down across the country led up to nothing, and the new character's sister died and it led up to nothing. There was so much potential for this game and the strangest thing is that I was trying to be open first half of the game. Again, it is beautiful but cutting the first part of the game in half to waste our time with bloated, lazy, pathetic storytelling was such a stupid move. At least have Abby as a dlc mission and not cut away from the main characters relationship. I've never played a game with more of an identity crisis.

    The flashbacks were fantastic. I honestly would have been happy with a shorter game where Ellie gets some sort of revenge, setting the bar low, but the timing was such a disgusting bait and switch. it was never said that Ellie wasn't in half the game. 0 out of 10. Neil is a great writer but I do not expect to look for creatives for political advice. Not a smart move to appease gaming blogs and ignore your actual fanbase. But hey, at least they love the game now because you have a trans character, a lesbianic couple, and an amputee Asian girl who looks slightly autistic. Thank God we checked all the boxes so we won't look like meanie racists. Man, that was close.    … Expand

    3) introducing Abby as a villain character for killing Joel after she gets saved by him and then forcing people to sympathize with her actions later on after the deed is done. 4)This entire story feels forced and not believable. How? Because there are countless moments that are not realistic and I'm referring to moments where Abby or other characters should have died but still manage to survive no matter what. Another moment where characters act out of character. If you think Joel's death was realistic then you're also saying that this game is only realistic for specific moments. Because if it wasn't the case then we wouldn't have the same story.

    5) rather than exploring other more interesting areas of the plot like ( Ellie's immunity, Ellie's mom, and how she got to the fireflies, finding out more about the origin of this virus, addressing Joel's lie at the end of the game. *I know that this was barely included but it wasn't enough at all. It was a flashback ffs*etc...) There are lots of directions they could have pursued but instead, we get to explore Ellie's sexuality by adding Dina, which doesn't add anything to the story or its characters. We also got rid of Joel just so we can transform the story into a generic revenge plot with no derivable morals or messages.

    Now, I'm going to propose some ideas that I think could have bettered this "sequel".

    Starting the game with the flashback sequences we got. This way we can see both Ellie and Abby's development. This way, we can understand Abby's decisions and reasoning.
    if the game starts with the flashbacks and have those sequences stretched out a bit then the actual start of this game in winter would be around halfway through the game and then there are some changes you could add like making Abby a more conflicted character by making her question her initial goal ( which is to kill Joel ) after she gets saved by him. This way, Abby becomes a multi-layered character with a complex personality unlike the Robot she is in this game. Still, even if after all that...she kills Joel, then people wouldn't feel shocked about it because they would be expecting it. The entire scene wouldn't be as abrupt or undeserved. They could introduce themes of forgiveness and hope and that would create a perfect emotional balance with the violence and hopelessness of this world. This would also achieve the goal of intriguing players on choosing who is good or bad. After all, isn't that what Neil wanted to achieve with his story. Well... He clearly failed cuz most players wanna destroy Abby and no one else. Finally, I would suggest getting rid of characters like Dina or Jesse. Because while they sometimes brighten the mood a bit, their role is practically non essentially to the plot progression nor for the development or growth of the characters. I would rather make them inflict changes to the story or impact/ influence Ellie in some drastic way causing her to act in a certain way.

    This is unfortunate...
    The last of us is more than this.
    I mean...we went from focusing on the emotional journey and the intimate relationship between Joel and Ellie which developed organically, to this meaninglessly violent story that bears no identity from the original game.
    I could slap a random title on it like" The Bigots Of Us" and I wouldn't even recognize it as a sequel to the first installment XD.
    The original game was special and bittersweet. Whereas, this one is just bitter, meaningless, and incapable of evoking those meaningful and striking story beats that the first game had.

    Man, I could go on and on about how much of a disappointment this is compared to the first one and Don't get me started with how they false advertised this game by replacing Characters and changing models just so they can deceive us into thinking that Joel will be alive at least throughout half of the game lol. And without addressing all the identity politics and feminist ideas that Neil introduced like deciding to create a manly looking female because he feels that female video game characters are sexualized... Anyways, the point is **** this game, and if you like it then good for you but honestly ... the only part that was genuinely enjoyable is the flashback sequences with Ellie and Joel. For me, those moments are a tease for the perfect sequel we deserved but unfortunately will never be able to get unless, by a miracle, this game gets remade.

    Watched the whole game on youtube, plot is just written badly (flashbacks from new Star Wars and the last season of the Game of Thrones). Poor character development, plot holes here and there, terribly stereotipic narrative (Spec Ops the Line, Far cry 3 - you can have better philosophy on this narrative direction there).

There worst part is a terrible movie with a hidden agenda! I get enough of this junk when my girlfriend forces me to watch those low budget love storys with terrible acting on the Lifetime Channel. I spend my money to play video games because for they are fun or exciting and I like mastering the skills needed to get through a good game. This game has none of that. I wanted to root for Abby, I did root for her at the end of the game. That fact that Joel save Abby and then Abby killed him while also presenting no conflict is disturbing. SJW in the game didn't bother me, I just wish it didn't feel forced and the writing was better. Ellie knows why Joel died. Ellie states she will find out why they killed him. Ellie admits to Abby she knows why she killed Joel. Abby let Ellie live twice and Ellie tried to kill her again, instead of having some remorse while letting Abby down from the pillars. The purpose of the whole story means nothing. By the way you can't make a vaccine for fungi, at least not with modern medical advancements. If anything they could test her antibodies, or even have her reproduce and then have immunity through birth. This game almost seems similar to have Star wars creates the Mary Sue and nothing will have a positive male role model that the mainstream will bring out.… Expand

    terrible game, barely managed to finish it, stayed up all nights and barely slept just so i could finish it and the ending was just unsatisfying, it was like a punch to the face, the worst game i’ve ever seen and a waste of money

Explain to us how the game is literally all over the place with emotions. One minute you're fending for your life then two seconds later you're flirting with your girlfriend. And the fact that Joel the character that we've grown to love is killed off at the beginning of the game, and you force your audience to play as the killer, HOW?     Just finished it, I personally didn't like the gameplay from tlou 1, but I did love the story. Unfortunately tlou 2 had a terrible story that at some points made no sense, the original characters did not feel or seem like themselves, it felt more like a fan made spin off. Luckily, I got a free copy so I didn't waste my money.

    Do not buy this game. I simply don’t understand how it has such a high critic score. The 1st is faultless. This is garbage - a story that is incoherent and completely destroys character arcs. The 1st was defined by its story and character, with the visuals an added bonus. I was hoping this would be go on to be greatest gaming trilogy of all time, that dream is now dead.

I read the spoilers but I still kept an open mind going into the game. After beating it...I was speechless. The amount of laziness and pure balls the developers have to release the game like this is insane. Te whole plot makes 0 sense and they absolutely destroyed my favorite character of all time. How can they think this was going to make people happy? Not to mention all of the social justice warrior stuff. I didn't care until they shoved it in my face another million times throughout the game. The gameplay was amazing and brutal but the story made me regret wasting 20 hours of my life. If it was then the term has gone down hill. Even my husband who I watched play the entire game said it was a 7 just because of the ending, but for me it’s just a zero. The game destroyed everything that the first set up. Deconstructing characters and forcing you to play the character who killed Joel. It’s horrible story structure. The game play cinematography is amazing but the game play gets boring and is just the same as the first. 7 years for the same game play and a story that makes no sense. Characters making decisions that in the real world in a situation like that makes no sense. Traveling to kill someone then let them get away after 100's of people killed. Not to mention nearly killing you and biting your fingers off. What is this story. Seriously. And why was armor only a thing at the end of the game. The WLF faction easily looks like they could have body armor but for some reason some loser gang would have all this armor but not a highly militarized group at war. Makes no sense to me. Just this game. It’s not a 10 maybe a 5 but shill critics needs to review honestly instead of reviewing to stay in favor and get review copies.

    Cuando llegamos al final,despues de matar a una cantidad exsesiva de personas (lo caul es poco realista)de repente se les ocurre la idea de que asesinar esta mal, y lo peor de todo es que deja viva a la antoginista escapandose.

    The characters made choices COMPLETELY out of character for them strictly to force the new story points they wanted. A lot of people say that naughty dog seems to be pushing an LGBTQ agenda. At first I thought this was nothing but bigots being bigots. In reality they have a point. The first kiss and Elli's relationship had a place and a point. It seemed like it belonged in the story. Maybe even the transgender kid, but the forced sex scene between a transgender and a man made absolutely no sense. Just like a bunch of the plot holes it was just there. No back story, no reason to exist, just shoehorned into the story. The three main characters being two transgender and a lesbian seems a bit out of place as well. It isn’t representative of the makeup of our general population.

    This game left me feeling down, empty and thinking what kind of garbage was that? Not what I want to feel from a GAME. Sure a game can shock (especially story driven ones) but this was just one forced, crap execution of plot and character holes.     they Blow out the legacy of part 1, this is a story driven game so story is its prime strength and prime selling point
    part 2 has : an awful story, with very silly characters ( never compared to the lovable ones in part 1 )
    the Ending is a disaster
