    The gameplay is like the old one, nothing new, bad level design, enviroments are good, characters are crap.

    Naughty Dog director Neil Druckmann will hopefully never direct a game again after this. To take a beloved franchise and insert pandering political narratives that nobody cares about and to treat the two main characters the way he did is unforgiveable. I feel sorry for the dev team who painstakingly created such a beautiful world only to have it ruined by a truly awful narrative. OverNaughty Dog director Neil Druckmann will hopefully never direct a game again after this.     "Is this really happening right now?" is something I constantly kept thinking...in a bad way. The only reason Joel and Ellie are in this game is to trick you into caring about this completely one note standard revenge plot. A single point for being technically impressive.

    The graphics and gameplay are amazing, however the story and it's execution are a disaster. The characters are inconsistent with the first part, there are plotholes and making us play as a character that we will never like is a horrible choice. They force a story that does not make sense. They can only save the franchise by starting the next part with ellie waking up from a bad dream.

    A franchise killer. Ellie, the cute tough, funny kid is now an ugly, morose, bitter, whiney child. Joel, the tough jaded man who grew to love Ellie as his own is treated like so much trash.     I will never buy another game from Naughty Dog or anyone who worked on this project who worked in the department responsible for the story. Avoid this game just watch it on YouTube and see for yourself. Looks great plays clunky and the story is horrible. What an absolute let down

    Gameplay: the first game is already good but this is really a step up from the last game, further more improving a lot by adding new mechanics such as crouch, dodge, and new animations making the game feels fresh, I specially like what they did with the guns, it feels heavy and more powerful than ever, supported by a great upgrade system making the New Game+ feels worth it.     Graphic: One of the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen, the intention to details and the lighting everything is just perfect.

    Story: However this is where the game really suffers, Especially when it's a story based game, it is the core that makes the first game such a succes, it's just so bad from the incredibly weird plot holes, and questioneble decision that the characters make that really set so far away from their personalities from the first game, it's just like horror movies when the female character checks a dark room that makes weird noise with no protection whatsoever, it's just dumb.    … Expand

    Sooo, I liked the graphic and the level Design so much! Also the gameplay was also mir Bad. But I don’t like actually the Story, for me, it makes No Sense if u compare the characters with the First Game. So there are Many negative Arguments in other Reviews but there are also Many positive. But in my opinion it Is Necessaire for a story Game to have a Good Story.

    The character development is really bad, what an awful sequence of the game. In the trailers of the game, they lied about a lot of things. The plot has a lot of holes. The mechanics of the game is the same of the first game no improvement at all.

If anyone ever golfs Ellie, Joel would've killed every last one of them in the whole country. He would've become The Last Of Us. The fact that the story is so depressing to the point that leaves Ellie completely alone is beyond disturbing. Its almost a torture to play the game. I mean, there is nothing wrong making a game with a darker thematic, i say darker because it's actually quite gnarly and sick. I just feel sad for her and. I really don't care about the so call Agenda related issues. I can take it, but the general tone after "that death" is just sadness.… Expand

    The stupid dodge system has turned the game's fight mechanics into a rhythm game. It sucks. You can't even open a fight with a punch. You have to start with a dodge.

Если вы фанат первой части, то не советую вам покупать вторую , она не оправдает ваши ожидания. Такое чувство, будто разработчики ставили целью номер 1 пропаганду ЛГБТ и совершенно забили на сюжет.     Highly disappointed. Naughty dog should be ashamed of releasing this sequel to a fan base drooling for a game of this caliber. It's a disrespect and a slap in the face to anyone who knew and lived tlou franchise. My only regret is spending 80$ to preorder this crap.

TBH i don't mind killing Joel in the sequel, but at least make a good proper send off like making his a death an honorable death or sacrificial death for Ellie, instead they did him dirty. In the first game Joel never trust any strangers while in this game they made him a complete idiot, Plus WTF with all the critics giving this game 10/10? Violence was good, necessary even, until the end. It's Far Cry 5 all over again, no satisfying payoff. This game deserves a 0. The story's goal is to force an agenda, not to tell a story, and by that it deserves little to no recognition.

    After 10 years of waiting for the 2nd part I never thought they would manage to screw the story up. Gameplay is old and past its time. The grafics are nice but that's it. The story is stupid beyond belief. Characters are bland and boring. Not worth the price tag. Feels more like a walking simulation

    вы ведь могли вложить деньги в качество игры (и на зп разработчикам!!!), а не на маркетинг и на покупку шл* (кхм) критиков. Если игра действительно 10/10, то она сама себя разрекламирует, но за вашу жадность и непрофессиональность, и за ваше отношение к игрокам, я вынужден отнять 3 балла.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Técnicamente es de lo mejor de la generación. Pero tener buenos gráficos siempre me ha parecido que no justifica ser un buen juego. TLOU destacó por ser un juego que nos cautivó con su historia donde en cada capítulo querías avanzar más para saber que iba a pasar y La historia es lo que te motivaba a seguir jugando y avanzando. Esto no pasa en TLOU2..... Si nos centramos en sus características jugables no dejaría de ser un Uncharted con otra ambientación... por lo que la historia es clave en esta saga... El problema no es que maten a Joel (es algo que se sabe/intuye desde el primer momento que anuncian esta segunda semana parte ¿que puede pasar tan fuerte como para ellie abandone una vida tranquila y empiece una guerra?) el problema tampoco es que hayan lesbianas como muchos colectivos quieren justificar para victimizarse (las personas que argumentan que ls criticas a este juego son porque ellie es lesbiana me parece que no han jugado al primero, solo por recordar en TLOU sacaron un dlc cuya historia te contaba que ellie es lesbiana...por lo tanto, ya se sabía que ellie es lesbiana y TLOU no recibió las criticas que esta recibiendo la parte 2 ahora).

    El problema real de este juego, es que a nivel de historia ha bajado de nivel muchísimo. No digo que la narrativa sea mala, pero la historia lo que pasa y como pasa está cogido por pinzas... las argumentaciones que dan para justificar lo que pasa son de película serie B y la manera de desarrollarlo y terminarlo no valen para nada. Al final tras terminar el videojuego, me viene a la cabeza una capitulo de the big bang theory en el que Amy le dice a Sheldon que la película no tiene sentido porque las acciones de indiana jones no afectan a la trama... pues esa sensación he tenido con esta segunda parte...
    En mi opinión la muerte de Joel era necesaria, pero no me ha parecido el mejor momento de hacerlo ni la mejor forma de hacerlo... Quizás el problema ha sido como lo han organizado, quizás una mejor forma de abordarlo hubiera sido empezar con abby buscando a joel, conociendo a los lobos y por último matando a Joel y ya empezar la parte de ellie. O haber tenido dos campañas separadas....Quizás hubiera sido mejor dejar dos finales y que te dieran la opción de vengarte o no y hubiera sido opción del jugador hacerlo.... no lo se no soy desarrollador de videojuegos, ni guionista, sólo soy un consumidor de videojuegos al que no le ha terminado de convencer esta segunda parte de uno de los mejores juegos que ha jugado...

    El caso es que me parece un gran error como lo han abordado, me parece un error que maten a joel en las 2 primeras horas del juego, te hagan emprender una guerra, en mitad de un momento crítico te cambien de personaje (a un personaje que estas odiando fuertemente en ese momento) y empiece toda una campaña política para hacer que sientas empatía por ese personaje... yo simplemente no puedo... no puedo sentir empatía por abby después de ver lo que ha hecho, si primero hubiéramos jugado con abby antes de saber lo que pasaba con joel quizás hubiera sido distinto... pero así no.

    Si nos vamos al gameplay la primera parte en esa zona abierta antes de llegar a seattle es maravillosa... es lo mejor que tiene el juego... a partir de ahi todo decae... el juego se convierte una repetición constante de conseguir recursos en zonas vacías, matar enemigos, fin fase...

    Tampoco creo que se merezca el hate que ha recibido el juego, ni mucho menos las amenazas a los trabajadores y actores del juego, pero si que me parece que han convertido lo que podría haber sido una gran saga en un juego del montón...    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game dose have breath taking graphics and slightly upgraded game play but the story is absolutely unforgivable! It is worse than "The last jedi" and the "Game of thrones" final season. Yes it's that bad!!
    The much loved lead character from the first game Joel, gets killed by a extremely butch female named Abby who has a very narratively weak and petty reason as to why she commits said act. What makes it more confusing is that Abby kills Joel straight after Joel saved Abby's life. The narrative of this game was lazily written, full of plot holes, doesn't really make sense and has hours of boring drawn out filler to buff out this overly long 20 hour game. It is a revenge story with no revenge at the end of it. The ending is shockingly poor. The 2 main female characters (Ellie & Abby) are rebels without a cause committing heinous violent acts for no apparent reason other than self gratification. This game is basically 20 hours of mindless brutal killing. You are forced to play as Abby for 10 hours who is a new main character introduced in this game. She is empty and has nothing that anyone can really relate to unless you are a psychopathic killer that happens to be an extremely butch female steroid junky. Ellie the vulnerable innocent child from the first game is now the lead character as Joel is dead and has been transformed into an unstoppable all action super soldier. She is now a mindless killer who is out for revenge at any cost. Her sense of humour and vulnerability that defined her in the first game has completely been stripped away and we now have a basically brand new character unrecognisable from the first game. It is insane how over powered Elie and Abby are in this game. Swiftly dispatching men that are twice the size of them. This game is unbelievable and the plot is hard to keep up with.
    The only time I really enjoyed playing TLOU2 was during the flash backs but other than that it was a complete chore to play through. In my opinion this is one of the worst sequels ever in books, movies or games. It's definitely in my top 3. Avoid like the plague and save £60. Just pretend that this doesn't exist and go back and play the first game again. Thank me later.    … Expand

The only reason this game hasn't gotten a 0 from me is because of the graphics and design and gameplay which gets very repetitive (which is almost exactly similar to the first one). The plot ruins the entire game. Tbh, I knew that there was a high possibility Joel is gonna die. But the writers literally fecked his entire character to kill him in the most improbable way which is what ruined this for me. Don't think the ppl upset with this are just upset because a beloved char died. Most ppl aren't upset with the RDR series which have killed off loved chars as well. Joel in TLoU : "He ain't even hurt"
    Joel in TLoU 2 : Saves a person from zombies while running *away* from said zombies and goes to their base and says "I'm Joel, we live nearby" to a group of heavily armed strangers.

    They just changed his entire personality so that he could be killed at the start of the game for "shock factor".

    Not to mention the fact that this is a revenge story without any revenge. Ellie kills dozens if not hundreds of ppl to get to Abby and then spares Abby because ReVeNgE iS bAd. Basically a bs move to force bs philosophy down the players' throat. Don't even get me started on the fact that Neil inserted himself as a character in the game. And his character spit on Joel's dead body. Not only that, he had the most disgusting sex scene with Abby.

    Also, ND's backhanded schemes of misleading advertisements and their overall response has been pretty telling why this game was so disconnected from the fans. TL,DR: This game completely ruined the characters and character arcs from the previous game. Its a revenge story with no revenge. Its the equivalent of Game of Thrones S8. The creators don't seem to know the difference between "realistic" and just straight up torture/misery porn.    … Expand

    Such a beautiful looking game, production wise it's amazing, it's obvious that people really worked hard for it. But why they allowed such story writing to pass through to release is beyond me. Subverting expectations is the new meta it seems, it's so edgy and pretentious it makes me want to puke.

Я понял посыл Нила Дракмана про насилие, но я отказываюсь верить,что маленькая милая Элли выросла такой мудачкой . Причем я бы понял,если бы ее такой сделала смерть Джоэла, но она была такой еще когда он был жив и поступала по-мудацки с ним. Мне было не приятно играть за Эбби после того,что она сделала не смотря на ее мотивы. Я полюбил Джоэла и как бы они не пытались оправдать его убийство , проникнуться к персонажу Эбби очень сложно. Единственная прекрасная сцена-это сцена воспоминания Элли в музее . В главе с Эбби и Львом ,как я понял была попытка скопировать первую часть . Вот только Лев-безэмоциональное бревно .     A technically impressive game, if boring as sin, the beautiful combination of Story and Gameplay that the original put out, gets stuffed by political agendas and a silly "Revenge" story - violence is bad you guys - in the Last of Us Part II. My disappointment is immeasurable. Thank you Naughy Dog, for killing another of the franchises I love.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. 1.- La ambientación es muy buena, es realmente sorprendente como los paisajes te envuelven y hacen sentirte que estás ahí, una sensación que gracias a su poderosa calidad gráfica lo lograron, saludo y felicitaciones a los desarrolladores incluyendo por el trabajo artístico..

    2.- La animaciones y físicas de los personajes al momento de interactuar con algún objeto o NPC son exquisitas literalmente el juego se ve de la mas reciente generación, reitero, un trabajo excelente por parte de los técnicos.

    3.- Las misiones son buenas algunas en lo que cabe destacar, realmente es la misma mecánica de "The last of us" su modo de combate y sigilo, al parecer aquí si hubo un copia y pega de su juego antecesor por que realmente todo es exactamente igual sin mejoras ni si quiera en su crafteo de bombas o flechas. En lo que si hubo cambios es en la defensa a mano limpia, literalmente puedes completar el juego sin utilizar armas ya que con tus manos puedes combatir cientos de infectados y ojalá fuera una broma. Las misiones en algunas ocasiones tienden a ser repetitivas ya que es tan predecible que varias veces sabías lo que iba a pasar en ciertas escenas ademas de que las mismas también se repiten constantemente, encontrar balas y materiales en los muebles es lo mas común desde la primera entrega aquí continua exactamente igual.

    4.- Los personajes son totalmente olvidables, específicamente hablando de los amigos de Abby que es la razón por la que la tipa busca matar a Ellie y a quienes la rodea, teniendo así mismos unos agujeros gigantescos en la narrativa, no se sabe absolutamente nada sobre los personajes, no te hace empatizar ni con Abby ni con sus amigos en la media duración del videojuego jugando como Abby por que simplemente no sabes nada de ellos mas que lo superficial que son nacionalidades o personalidad. Han sido varias escenas en que los amigos de Abby realmente están plasmados en la narrativa como verdaderos tontos, hay varias oportunidades que pueden matar a Ellie y deciden esperarse para convenientemente ser salvada por alguien o algo para si mismos acabar muriendo. Lamentables los personajes. exceptuando a quienes ya conocemos Tommy y Ellie.

    5.- La historia solo busca momentos shockeantes para poder proyectar sentimientos al jugador, sin embargo es donde falla miserablemente ya que muchos momentos shockeantes son sobre los amigos de Abby en su mayoría siendo mas de 6 personajes que mueren de manera miserables pero como repito están tan mal estructurados que no te hace sentir una emoción de tristeza ni mucho menos de enojo, solo dándote alegría por quienes mataron a Joel el personaje mas querido de la franquicia, muriendo de una manera horrible a la primer hora del juego, en si hay muchos agujeros argumentales como lo había comentador, Joel en la primera entrega es alguien demasiado cauteloso y minucioso, es una persona que no le importa nadie, mas que Ellie por ser la representación de su hija ya difunta y su hermano por ser simplemente de la familia, en ésta última entrega se vuelve alguien amistoso que se fía de toda persona en una época apocalíptica de una tipa que recién conoce, no tiene sentido el cambio tan drástico de su personalidad, Ellie en un flashback lo odia solo por que le salvó la vida, que sentido tiene esto? Encima busca venganza a quien continuamente estaba rechazándolo y repudiándolo como lo hacía Ellie a Joel, como buscaría venganza si ella estaba despreciando a Joel, para el colmo al final de todo el juego Ellie perdona a quien mató a Joel con un palo de golf, a quien dejó ciego a Tommy, a quien iba a matar a Dina sin piedad estando embarazada, a quien mata a Jesse siendo el padre del feto que tiene Dina en su vientre que es de los pocos personajes con quien generas empatía ademas de Dina y para finalizar le corta 2 dedos a Ellie. Así es Ellie perdona a Abby, la narrativa es mala no por qué la haya perdonado o por el trayecto de la venganza, si no por que cualquier persona que Ellie haya matado sin piedad contando gente inocente, NPCs que seguro tenían mas razón de vida que la propía Abby muertos por una venganza perdonada, ahí se resume la historia, una historia inconclusa que no tiene razón de ser, que todos mueren pero no muere quien realmente lo merece, Abby no tuvo piedad de Joel para matarlo ni mucho menos lo perdonó, pero Ellie si va a perdonar a quien en un principio por su culpa ocasionó que mataran a sus amigos inocentes? Ademas de otra cosa, el jefe del grupo en que está Abby se ve una persona segura, con mucha gente a su poder, cuando Abby lo confronta por ser desertora muere en 5 segundos, como repito la historia es muy mala.

    Así resumo el juego en conclusión, muy buenos gráficos, excelente animación e interacciones, misiones buenas algunas y otras repetitivas, los personajes sin identidad mas que lo superficial y la historia sin razón de ser.    … Expand

This is just a horrid game. The gameplay is just like the original, no real updates, it feels so outdated already, like I'm playing a PS3 game with some ducktape slapped on, and TLoU had some already outdated gameplay at the time. There are so many stupid "environment puzzles" where you just move a ladder or box, like in the first, but multiplied by a ton.

    The story has many issues which I'm not going to get into as I want to leave this a spoiler free review, but if you liked the first one and cared about the characters, then don't waste your money on this game that will spit on you and your love for the game, because you don't UNDERSTAND NEIL DRUCKMANN'S GREATNESS(Who forced out a woman, Amy Hennig, who had denied that she was being harrassed in the work place and said that men she worked with helped her and were nice).

    The "Critic" reviews are all paid for, I have to believe this, and I believe a heavy amount of the "Positive" reviews are bots after having read them(yet Naughty Dog, Neil Druckmann, and many of the cast are claiming the negative reviews are all bots made by MEAN PEOPLE). They all praise this game and story, saying it's great, when there are multiple issues with it as I said but can't get into to keep this spoiler free, praising the gameplay, etc... The Audio is good I will give them that, and the Visuals are really good too(although not the best out there right now, not close even, but still really good).

    Save your money and don't buy this. So disappointed I even borrowed this from a friend to play.    … Expand

Ellie's beloved position in the game is reduced to nothing but a vessel of hatred for a cliched journey of a "revenge goes nowhere" trope. Joel, the beloved father figure, the paragon of what made The Last Of Us symbolical in its powerful narrative and poignant themes, is nothing more but a wasted plot device, or rather, a cheap shocker.

    The skeletal frames of The Last Of Us are almost non-existent in its successor. The gameplay and graphics will be soon overshadowed by the soon-to-come games, and it's saving grace could have been its faithfulness to the original, but no. We were not granted that respect.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
