Nov 18, 20171/10 because of Star Wars.
9 points removed because of extreme corporate greed from EA and having them think they can rip us off freely. Having to pay to unlock content after paying 60$ is just unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Having to play 40h to unlock one character (so you are forced to buy) is not acceptable after paying 60$. -
Nov 18, 2017When I open the game, I just see.,. Microtransactions... Microtransactions everywhere... So it may be a MACROTRANSACTIONS game. "This is for the zombie Players"

Nov 18, 2017I really wanted to buy this game beacuse SW is my second love but terrible P2W and boxes change my mind. So i will never buy this product. I will not spend my money on it because of this microtransactions. Devs can be proud of yourselves - they ruined their product.

Nov 18, 2017Do not buy, predatory lootbox based progression or so called "pay to pay to play" model.
Gambling advertised to children, hopefully this practice will be illegal some day. -
Nov 18, 2017Too many games made these days are trying milk gamers for all the cash they have and this game is at the top of that crap pile. The quality of the game falls to the side in favor for mechanics meant to manipulate consumers to part with their money.
A blatant free to play model in a full price tiered game.
Gone are the days you buy a game and get a game, now you just get cut up parts of a game. -
Nov 18, 2017To enjoy fully the game you need to buy these hated luchbox.Do please take microtransactions out of my favorite series. No boxes I'm not going to buy.!

Nov 18, 2017Stay away from this game. This thing wants drain your wallet as every game nowadays. EA is the worst game publisher. If it continuous to happen, the game industry won't survive.
-
Nov 18, 2017The game balance is terrible. It's based on loot boxes. Without them the game is trash, with them is trash as well. What EA needs to do is just rebalance the whole game, redesign the loot boxes to be cosmetic only. Just don't buy for now.

Nov 18, 2017I have played it within 10 hours EA Access trial. This is a game designed as Pay-to-Win. Just to discourage such a behaviour in 60$ game - I am giving it an 0 point user score.
I cannot accept pay-to-win approach in game I have to pay the full price.
I know that now loot boxes are TEMPORARILY blocked. So I am waiting for permanently removal. Then I am open to change my scoring. -

Nov 18, 2017The loot boxes ruin this game. EA tried to push the micro transactions to far. Gamers need to take a stand now or else future games will all be like this. I bet you the team making the next Battlefield is like oh crap guys. We need to change this system people are not going to tolerate it.

Nov 18, 2017EA I wish you would read all of these reviews because your a monster and you need to correct yourself. Why couldn't have LucasArts given the license to someone who actually loves star wars as much as its community, and not these corporate jabronies.

Nov 23, 2017I pledge to never again buy a game published by EA. I hope those working at EA realize that they're responsible for ruining games that could be amazing experiences and that could be remembered and played for years. Instead they only care about making a few bucks. You're the laughing stock of the industry EA, so get it together or get out. ------Pay $60 to read the rest of the review------

Nov 20, 2017EA must be stopped, this is the biggest dick move a company can make. go buy some indie games made by people who care don't touch this game, even though dice don't deserve to suffer, EA does!
-
Nov 20, 2017imagine a chess game where your opponent has queens instead of pawns.
image a versus fighting game where your opponent has triple lifebar.
EA : Is that really your vision of multiplayer game ?
People with money lead already real world. Now, they can rule videogame worlds too. -
Nov 20, 2017Microtransactions are getting out of hand, and this is an example of how it can be pushed further than I expected. Gambling has no place in gaming and I really hope that some rules are put in place to stop this happening again.

Nov 20, 2017Lootbox™ - the game. Lootbox™ - the game. Lootbox™ - the game. Lootbox™ - the game. Lootbox™ - the game. Lootbox™ - the game. Lootbox™ - the game. Lootbox™ - the game.

Nov 20, 2017This is the worst AAA game since Destiny. It's not fun it's a **** gambling simulator it is complete **** and this can't be allowed to continue. **** EA and **** Dice.

Nov 20, 2017EA shows, once again, that their greed knows no bounds. They destroy and suck every possible cent out of every title they release, and every studio they purchase.
2017, the year of the loot box.
Don't bother with Gamblefront II. -
Nov 20, 2017Gamer's need to take a stand with pay-to-play games. I was so psyched for this game, but as the release date got closer I got the details on the paid loot system. I am disappointed and will not pay for a game that encourages paid content in the magnitude that this game does.

Playstation Official Magazine UKFeb 6, 2018Excellent online action offers hours of Stormtooper-shooting fun, but the so-so campaign stumbles, while cynical loot crates leave a sour taste. [Jan 2017, p.83]

Jan 21, 2018Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.

Dec 29, 2017Although game has huge problems with p2w microtransactions, it is still a good and fun gameplay experience with stunning visuals.
