    Do I need to say? Same reason as the others.

    Lame game, lame politics and exploration. EA ruined dozen of games, but they can't get away everytime.

    If the mechanics are free-to-play like, then charge the game accordingly (better yet: Don't charge!)

    This is pay-to-win garbage. It's total BS. Don't believe anyone who is telling you otherwise - it's just bought reviews. This game is total crap. Do me a favor and pop down to Youtube and visit "Worth a buy". It's an eye opener.

    Basically its an Online Casino pretending to be an multiplayer shooter game. Its RNG on RNG on RNG for spending real money in exchange for a chance to pwn every living being at this match. If you enjoy this game mechanic - you're masochist.

    all these reviews right before the game launches should tell ppl not to buy the game. However. Ppl are the f'ing worst and EA knows this. So whats likely to happen? Everyone buys the game anyway, keeps complaining uninterrupted, buys 30 bucks in Micro transactions, then in 2 months they'll start posting "ppl still play this" even as they play it, and will say at the end they were part ofall these reviews right before the game launches should tell ppl not to buy the game. The reason is simple and its likely the same reason that SWBF2 will sell millions of copies and make EA a ton of money. That reason? That ppl today are worthless d bags who want everyone ELSE to boycott to get the problem fixed. Somebody ELSE should return their pre order. Someone ELSE needs to teach EA to respect its customers. But "I" dont want to have to be bothered. This is why things are the way they are. EA might respond to a real boycott, but they arent going to fix squat cause 600 thousand keyboard warriors on reddit started sobbing. Want to know how im right? Because they "fixed" your "outrage" by cutting the price of hero's by 75%. But why isnt that a fix you ask? BECAUSE THEY CUT DOWN ON HOW MUCH CREDITS YOU CAN EARN BY PLAYING THE GAME BY, anyone want to guess how much? EXACTLY......... 75%. So for those weak in math. If your bills go down 75% at the same time your pay gets dropped 75% your in the EXACT same position. EA just did the rope a dope and TONS of ppl are falling for it. If you REALLY want this game like I do, your kinda screwed. BUT, for those who must get the game, buy it second hand in a week or 2. At least then EA wont get your money. But if you EVER buy a microtransaction of ANY kind, YOU....... are not PART, of the problem. You ARE, the problem and i dont care what your excuse is. They have season passes, pre orders, even pre orders for season passes. All that crap is designed. DEEEEE SIGNED!!!! TOTALLY designed to effect your brain in a similar way that gambling does so that you will GIVE THEM MORE MONEY THAN JUST THE COST OF BUYING THE GAME. Notice I didn't say it was designed to make gamers have fun. Because it isnt. All that junk is gaming cancer being targeted at morons and unsuspecting innocent children. If sales dont come ANYWHERE NEAR what EA is projecting they will panic because someone is going to roll for it and maybe, just maybe, they'll stop this sort of greedy disgusting practices.     This game contains loot boxes in order to better exploit customer who have already paid full price for the game as well as the season pass. Do not buy this game under any circumstances.

    Smaller maps, Walker Assault > Galactic Assault, obvious P2W - anyone that has maxed characters will destroy you, Lightsaber glow is weird in this one, and they failed to ACTUALLY have a story from the eyes of the empire.

    Mitch Dyer should go back to IGN.

    I enjoyed the Access trial but sadly will not be buying it due to the pay-to-win system. Avoid this one folks.

    A thinly veiled gambling simulator targeted towards young kids with parents credit cards. Borderline illegal and EA has been busy making fake reviews to try to cover this up. Don't buy this game for your kid unless you want to introduce them to gambling

Looks like I'll be playing the real Battlefront 2- the one that came out 12 years ago with all the features and more. Minus the predatory, F2P mobile features that have no place in a full priced game.

    This game could have been so good and would have brought praise upon EA, restoring some of their reputation but they chose to go the opposite route. They need to be made an example of. Do not purchase this game. Do not support anti-consumer business practices. The game is utter garbage.

    If You have 60 dollars then just buy battlefront 2 (2005) on PC its only 10 dollars and online is back on there and you can use the other 50 on la noire on switch or some other star wars games on steam

    Not enough game here. Perhaps there's a great game behind the microtransactions, but I'll never see it. $2100 is what you'd have to pay for access to the full game. Unless you're a Russian oligarch this is not the game you're looking for.

    Delaying P2W strategy until later will not subside this terrible game mechanic. Nothing short of removing lootboxes completely will do anything for this smoldering garbage pile from EA. I suggest to not purchase this game nor any future games from EA until they remove microtransactions in a P2W style completely.

    I hate when the games has microtransactions, since the PSN was hacked I don't trust to add my credit card to my ps4, and now with this trend, I'll never add my card.

    The graphics for the game are awesome, but$60 for play a game that "suggests" hey add more money to made the game easy, come on I can accept that for a free game but not for a 60 game.     This not a $60 game. This is a $2100 game. You'll have to spend this much cash just to unlock the content of the base game. This does not include and future content in the $eason pa$$. This is a joke and a stickup. EA is literally trying to mug gamers by microtransaction assault.

    Blatant pay to win witha $60+ price tag. You have to grind for many hours just to use Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, and all of this is with random loot boxes. If you read this, I plead that you don't support this game in any way, shape, or form.

I totally disliked NFS: Payback for forcing me to grind money for take more and more parts for car every race I run, I really dislike grind in online games. I don't want to waste my time on too long progressing in this game. I want to get my 20 hours online and 6-8 hours in campaign. I don't need more than 40 hours of gameplay in any game I wantToo many lootboxes in the last EA games.     EA has literally destroyed one of my fondest childhood video games. Locking characters behind paywall or ridiculous grind is insane. Lots of people have schedules that don't allow them to grind for hours. I just want to hop on and have fun. This is not what this game is meant to be. You can straight up buy power from loot crates, watch any of the many vids on YouTube where people drop $100 and go on to prove the ingame advantage this gets them, especially in the space combat games where if the RNG gods are smiling you might get a +20%Pay to win garbage. They have even built in lockout timers to prevent you earning credits after 5 missions in a day, I was greeted with a 'come back in 6 hours message'. This kind of junk belongs in mobile Free to play crap and not in a AAA full price title.

    I hope people take a stand and do not buy this, the very future of games is on the line here. If you love games because they should be about fun, gameplay, pure competition and gameplay designed around genuinely rewarding a players effort and time, then please please do not get this trash that is designed around opening up your wallet by trying to grind you down through a combination of outrageous time to progress combined with an apparent willingness to matchmake you with whales who will destroy you due to the power they have purchased.

    Dice, EA, Disney and anybody who supports this should be ashamed imho, absolutely shocking that things have been pushed this far and they thought it was ok to release a Starwars game like this, but then it is Starwars so will probably sell in record numbers, and this will pave the way for a PTW future, I hope I'm wrong and that the public have the strength to let this game die at retail and send a signal that this will not stand.    … Expand

    No balance, no normal weapon behaivior, no fan, no balance, no content, no team work...

    Only paid lootboxes which make game more unbalanced.

    Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
