    This has got to be one of the most relaxing & creative games on the market. Although graphics are not a main feature of this game I think the fact that its like Lego for adults helps the cause. Just an all round entertaining game that improves every update. Cheap game also really fights its corner!!

    You know a game is good, when people come on and flood it with 0s just to make it look bad because the user score average is too high. The game is a mix of Skyrim, Harvest Moon, Don't Starve, and Legos all in one.

    If you want a challenge you will definitely get one on Hard. I've platinumed Demon Souls, and let me tell you, there's nothing more shocking than going to bed in a place you    You know a game is good, when people come on and flood it with 0s just to make it look bad because the user score average is too high.     If you want a challenge you will definitely get one on Hard. I've platinumed Demon Souls, and let me tell you, there's nothing more shocking than going to bed in a place you thought you had made safe only to have a creeper land on your head as you exit your house and blow up half your house, and now you have 5 minutes to get everything before they disappear forever, and if the chest was too close to the door that can be EVERYTHING you've worked for.

    You can be mining around on Normal or Easy and before you know it some spider knocks you into lava and you burn to death and lose everything you had on you. Which is especially stressful after a long farm session. There's a sort of magesty to coming into a cave and finding waterfalls coming from the roof, and so you swim up the waterfall being very careful not to fall to your death only to find that a Skeleton is now shooting at you from afar.

    You can loot houses, you can build up villages, you can cure zombie villagers, you can farm enemies of varying difficulty. Blazes that shoot rapidfire fireballs, Ghasts that you reflect their attacks back at them, spiders being ridden by skeleton archers, witches that can poison you making the Diamond Armor you crafted and the enchantments on it, useless, so hopefully you brought some potions of healing that you brewed... All so you can kill them and get more exp for more brewing and enchanting.

    The real question is, why aren't you playing it? Did some idiot tell you it was just building houses, with no enemies and has no end game? They've never been to the end, not even on peaceful nevertheless hard. Want to bump up the challenge even more? People make custom PVP maps. You have 2000 friends, you have room for some PVP buddies to have fun with.

    It's a game like no other. Did I mention they have higher resolution graphics textures in the store? Try some out with the free demo, the game looks so much better you won't want to play it with standard graphics ever again. Enjoy.    … Expand

    How is it that a game that looks SO bad and plays mediocre be so much fun? You can build pretty much and do what you want..its your world to build. I think that's the main reason its so highly addicting. I found myself building a mine and building steps thousands of feet underground. There is also something about finding a cave and seeing water falling from hundreds of feet in the air...also spending hours building your home is frustrating but when finished its an amazing feeling. I had a two story house with a basement. I used black blocks to make a TV and some to make a couch. You have to experience this,if you haven't, to really be able to put it into words.… Expand

    If you are a creative person, this game is for you. I had lots of fun making builds, as Minecraft never limited my creativity.

    this game is really fun you can build whatever do mods beat the game with your friends and so much more but in my opinion the game is much for fun with friends than it is to play by your self.

    I LOVE how Mojang and Microsoft handled the switch from Legacy to Bedrock. At no extra cost. I thought they were going to drop support like they did for PS3 and 360. Also, you can switch between Legacy and Bedrock. So if you want to play the free minigames in Legacy like snowball fight you can easily do it. The Bedrock version has some performance issues sometimes but 95% of the time it'sI LOVE how Mojang and Microsoft handled the switch from Legacy to Bedrock. At no extra cost.     Its the same addictive gameplay with controls that seem uncomfortable at first but are easy to get use to. The only real complaint is the interface just isn't as efficient on console as it is on PC. But not much the developer could do there. Its a game that makes you forget what time it is.     I've played Minecraft on PC for years, but on PS4 it just feels more like a game. Smooth, easy to control and fun to play. Minecraft was meant to be played via console.

    In my opinion the only thing wrong with this is that it is not like the PC version with unlimited world size it is nice that you can use the touchpad for going through you're inventory but in my opinion it should up to date with the PC version.

    It is the same addictive game. If you are new to the game, the concept is, you have no goal, you survive the nights, build things and play with friends. The ps4 version has larger worlds than the ps3 and 360 edition. it also has a longer view distance. My main complaint with the game is the controls are not as customizable as i would like them to be. i would like to change the way toIt is the same addictive game.     There's nothing to say when it comes to minecraft other than "Here's a pick axe, go build something." truly a great game for the inner kid in you. This highly addictive game will bring you hours of joy and pleasure. even if you don't feel like playing just listen to the soundtrack. Its probably just the most soothing music ever created.     A very addictive game with probably the best value for money ratio on the PS4. Even though the graphic model is basic with it's pixellated and blocky appearance, it still produces amazing vistas.

    The only thing I expected more of is the amount of raw ores.     Fun, deep, varied gameplay. Minecraft is one of those games that can be played so many different ways, next gen just makes it a little deeper and look prettier. For the price it is any easy buy.

    If you can entertain yourself (i.e. you enjoy such games as The Elder Scrolls, Just Cause, Middle-Earth), then you will love Minecraft.
    Everyone knows about this game already, so I'll just tell about the PS4 version.
    It is very beautiful and colourful, so those who are afraid that it is subpar to the PC version must not fear.
    The PS4 version is complete and worthy.

    Although I'm not a fan, my students and my daughter enjoy this game tremendously. It affords them many opportunities for creativity and entertainment. Good enough for an 8 due to the number of people I know that love this game and it's enormous cultural appeal.

    Excellent version and better than the PC edition. The main reason is crafting. The ingredients are shown in the PS4 version so no more frustration and wasted time using trial and error. Looks great on a large screen as well. So what if it doesn't use all of the processing power of the PS4. A great game is great because of content not it's use of technology.

    I love Minecraft, it is one of the best games to come out of the last 10 years and it is especially good on PS4. Recreate Vegas or build the London eye, create a fantasy world or a underground city. Build under or over water, build in the sky the possibilities are endless.

    A fantastic game with a mesmerising soundtrack to add a lovely ambience to the worlds you are creating.
    Minecraft is the equivalent of having an unlimited box of Lego and an entire world to build in. If you don't already own it, I'd highly recommend adding it to your collection.    … Expand

    mój syn jest zachwycony, gra jest super, razem gramy sporo czasu, osobiście uważam że mincraf w wersji ps4 i xone powinien być w wersji HD :) aby pokazać moc nowych konsol :)

    On paper Minecraft is a novel idea, but in practice it is a brilliant platform to unleash your imagination one block at a time and the Playstation 4 edition, though not as complete as the PC version, still provides complex, engaging gameplay that will eat into hours upon hours of your free time if you aren't careful.

I had the ps3 edition so I only had to pay 4.99 for the ps4 version, worlds are huge and good quality, if you have a vita you can play it mobile and transfer worlds onto your ps4 so you can work on your projects any where!     While it is outdated as all console versions of the game, it has greater adventure, and improvements from the later versions. It also holds a warm feeling of accomplishment after I have created something spectacular.

    i have played on minecraft now since it was available on the PSN STORE i find it is a very relaxed game and also very fun to play with others when i first started i loved the fact it gave you help to tell you the basic understanding of how to play and what to make and since then i have put my head to it and created some picturesque buildings and sculptures i find it very fun and addictive.

    It was great seeing this game spread across multiple consoles for a more diverse audience of the gaming platforms. Minecraft does it's job in appealing to the adventurous and creative side in open world loving gamers. The constant updates for new and fun creations, tools, enemies, and overall material really adds to the possibilities in terms of creation for the consumer.     Overall, its hard not to have fun while playing this game, especially with friends. I can understand that the auto save feature may be a drawback when another player may destroy creations, or you die and lose all materials. I would suggest that this game has a server option for many players to continue a world they have made with friends, when the server owner is unable to host the map.     My favorite version of minecraft. I don't like the PC's control scheme or crafting system nor do I care about complex mods, I just want fun minecraft with a controller. This delivers.

    One of my favorite games. I even based most of my YT channel on it. Until I got bored of it. I was great at it. I always wanted to play with others, and the updates always help! I always built stuff, we even had what we considered the "Best MC World Ever" until it got deleted. I had a mansion, hotel, and everything. Then we got diamonds in 1 day and got to the nether on one world... justOne of my favorite games. I even based most of my YT channel on it. Until I got bored of it. I was great at it.     Minecraft is a very relaxing game and fun game to play with friends. You can build almost anything in the game. The game can get boring, but you can change that by making a building, or making weapons, mining, or going to the nether. A great simple game everyone can play.

    It is Minecraft, the classic but on console.
    Played it (and my 6th year old son as well) on PSP Vita and computer.
    This one is as good as the others and lot of fun to play.

    Wish i had a game like that when i was a young boy

While the PC version is, and always will be, way ahead of its console brethren in terms of content and community (including mods), the console versions, including this one, are rock-solid gaming experiences.     Sure, the game's status has gone sour over the last couple of years. But, this is one of the most expansive and fun games I've ever played. Tons of content, simple yet effective style, and tons of creative ways to deal with building. Sure, the combat is not that good, but everything else is just fantastic.

    Gostei muito da jogabilidade , o jogo ficou ótimo e parece até que tem gráficos agora , o sistema combinou muito com o controle do PS4 , o jogo também é bem criativo , quem não tem um PC que rode isso , pode jogar nos consoles , Minecraft é um otimo jogo , e combinou muito bem com o PS4

    Minecraft is a sandbox game that you have to learn to play. You can play in different modes such as peaceful, easy, normal, and hard. You can play by yourself or with a friend as well as online. I started playing Minecraft in 2014 when my family got a PS4. I have had experience with many different updates of this game.

    I came across Minecraft when I was 11 years old, when I was playing the lite version on a tablet. I decided to keep playing it because it looked fun and it wasn’t as difficult because it only had one mob, zombies. I continued to play this version until I was able to get the PS4 version. PS4 version gives you more mobs zombies, skeletons, witches, spiders. This has become my favorite video game and I will continue to play it throughout my life.

    Overall, my experience with Minecraft has been a positive one. I started from the lite version and now love the PS4 version. I would recommend this game to ages 10+ both boys and girls would like this game. There are books that you can use to teach you strategies to build and how to survive. If you love Minecraft so much you should go to the MineCon 2017 convention. The date is unknown for now but keep an eye out for it.    … Expand

    The online is fun to play and the people are awesome. You can build whatever whenever with whoever. Its as simple as that, fun and easy for everyone, it is that fun. The PC is a better version of course, that got a 10.

    A desint Port of the Game -Hardcore Mode and not being able to mod the game is also a downside or having fancy shaders but hey its a trade of for a NOICE port.

But... if you can, look for a PC version over PS4.     nada muito a falar exceto o fato de que o minecraft é uma obra de arte, e um dos jogos mais populares, se não o mais popular, da história dos games. até hoje, o minecraft ainda consegue ser um jogo esplêndido, a versão para PS4 (agora a denominada bedrock edition) consegue ser tão boa quanto a de pc.

    The music is great! The creativity is great! everything is great! Except you don't get servers like Hypixel or etc to play on. But overall 8/10 and PC version is 8/10 because of the stupid combat update and command block update.

    Minecraft is just a wonderful game to let your imaging run wild by constructing builds or you can survival the night on survival mode.

    This game is a good game to play 4 player split screen as you can all be doing your own thing. The game is simple in that you survive by fighting enemies and, hunger but if you want to a achieve much more you would be better off getting it for PC for mod compatibility.
