If they story han been better told, the game would win many points.
The side quests are too boring, all of them are go de point A to point B a lot of times, they are desperate, besides the side quests of the remants are very very very slow, and you end up hating them. My advice, forget all side quest and only do the missions of the main history
As an exception the only side quests are good, are the ones that tell you about the hidden story of the riddley family, and a lot of times are more interesting than the main story.
The gameplay is the part where the game more advance respect the previous games, The new combat system, It feels more freedom, you must move aroud the enemies and it doesn´t work stay en same cover all the time, But the automatic cover system doesn´t work, and a lot of times you are out the cover without realizing. Other thing negative in the combat system is that you can´t give orders at yours partner for combine powers.
In summary if the game had a better rhythm, the story was a better told, and the side quests were more funny, the game would be much better.

Been a long time Mass Effect fan and while it has some frustrating aspects, it's still a stunning technical achievement and an awesome sci-fi game. Why there hasn't been more talk about the presentation, graphics, and especially the galaxy exploration mechanic is beyond me. The first time I started really exploring it was stunning and intuitive. Also, you more than get your money's worth in overall content, it's almost overwhelming at first how much there is to do and I'm a veteran of big open world games. The combat is great as well once you get used to it and figure out your favorite loadouts and skills. You can tailor all combat encounters to your own personal style and I love that.

The main negatives for me are the story which so far has been just cookie cutter sci-fi stuff, especially the enemy designs and the whole "aliens who left behind monoliths guarded by robots" thing. Really Bioware?? Also, the menus are so convoluted it makes you want to punch a wall and the intricate systems are not explained up front whatsoever. I don't remember in previous Mass Effects having to constantly research online to figure out what the hell I'm doing.

Overall, if you're a Mass Effect fan you will find something to like in the game and it will most definitely keep you busy exploring. It's on par with anything out there as far as graphics, exploration, combat, and sheer size. However, don't expect the greatness level of ME:2

Before starting this review i must inform that i have never played any mass effect game before andromeda, so i can't compare it with the original triology. This a review from an rpg fan who loves franchises like The Witcher, Elder Scrolls and Dragon age.

Mass Effect Andromeda is not a bad game, not a 0 game definitely, but it is just a disappointing game which had so much potential.

Let's evaluate the game in different topics:

-Combat: Combat in this game was probably one of the best that i have ever played, it is fluid and the cover system is very good too. The skills are diverse and some of them amazing (at least in the biotic tree). Firing the weapons feels very good too. However you can only equip 3 skills, you can choose between 4 loadouts, giving you 12 skills in total, but by switching between loadouts you will have a cooldown.

-Loyalty missions: For me those were the most interesting missions in this game, we learned a lot about the crew and they were a lot more complex than just go to pont A and kill the area or find some item.
-Main quest: Overall i the main quest was not bad, the missions were good, but i found the alien race, the Kett, to be very bland, they didn't have personality, i would like to have known more things about these aliens.

-Secondary quests: Unfortunately one of the most important aspects in an RPG was negleted here, the planets quests were boring, i didn't really find excitement in doing them, witcher 3 quests are way more interesting and have more depth. The people that lives in these planets and give you the quests are bland, and there are really no consequences to your actions ( an important factor in an RPG). I would like to have had more interesting quests with consequences that would affect the story of the game, however the impact of thoses quests here was very small (the ending just depends on 2 quests....)

Exploration: You use the nomad to explore the world, and driving it actually feels good, but my main issue in this category was that the planets were very empy, i rarely had interest in exploring the few caves that the game had. Overall the exploration in this game was just...boring.

Graphics: Overall the graphic in this game were great, the views in planets like Elandeen and Havarl were beautifull, however the facial animations in this game were bad, but for me that factor didn't really bothered me.

The crew: Overall i liked the crew, the best were Vetra, Cora and Drack, but others like Liam and Jaal were so boring, hearing Jaal speaking almost put me asleep. Peebee was ok. However i do not know why but i never really connected with any of the characters, in dragon age inquisition i really loved the crew and cared about them but here that didn't happen.

Character customization: very average , the character models are ugly, the hair styles are few, you cannot change your character eyes size and things like that....compared with the character creation in fallout 4 this one is leaves a lot to be desired.

The angara: The only alien race that exists in the heleus cluster besides the kett, overall i found them boring and uninteresting.

The soundtrack: One of the worst aspects in this game, basically theres almost just one soundtrack....the one in the main menu. There is a serious lack of song during exploration, compared with games like skyrim a and the witcher it is a joke, that is one of the reasons that i never really feeled immersed in this universe. The combat soundtrack is nothing special too. During emotional scenes there are times that there are not soundtrack at all, with the adequate song the difference would be huge.

Overall i still could enjoy the game but it is still very far from the level of other games like the witcher 3. When i finished the witcher 3 i felt an emptyness inside me because i spent so many good hours in that game that would miss a lot, but in this game that didn't happen. Still i had some good moments in this game and i spent over 80 hours in it.

This game is truly a masterpiece. While it does have notable flaws in the form of its character animations and overlapping dialogue, these are easy to overlook in the grand scheme of things.

The Graphics: Simply stunning. 10/10 Gameplay: Excellent shooting mechanics and smooth gameplay. 9/10 Open World: Multiple planets to explore with completely open environments. 10/10 Characters:

+ Ending went out with a bang. Really good way to set up for sequel, but could be better if there was more info on the Jaardan

    Cons
    - Main Story has pacing issues.
    - Scanning missions need more work to make it more diverse and deeper . Esp murder detective quests
    - Too many boring side quests
    - too many fetch quests in disguise!!!!
    - The activation of vaults was great and varied, but more potential to explore alien race culture
    - boring world to world scanning chores. Sometimes you get nothing from it. But I can see why it was added as a filler
    - Activating cryo statis pods could make the Nexus more populated.
    - Annoying travelling to and from the Nexus, Tempest for conversation for just simple tasks. They could vidcon instead of travelling to nexus to talk to Director addison or certain people sometimes and it made travelling feel like a chore.
    - The andromeda galaxy needed more alien cultures.
    - Ugly female and male presets in character creations.
    - Sara Ryder could have been prettier if not for those SJW's

I'm not as affected by the animation issues as I grew up with 90s and early 2000's gaming which had little to no facial animations,

But I also miss the cool drop landing in ME3 where you land from a dropship straight into battle. It was an epic feeling which you don't get in Andromeda. It's just the long and slow animations of flying off and landing constantly. It was cool at first, but gets tiring.

    - Story telling lacks a bit of length and main story is too short.

I have a confession to make, this was my first Mass Effect game so my opinion on the game may not be as polarizing as some. So for me, I don’t have the massive disappointment that Mass Effect 2 (regarded as one of the greatest games of all time) turned into this. For me personally, I am coming into this game fresh and so I did my best to keep an open mind about this game.

To start off this game got lambasted with mockery on how the facial animations looked which I don’t think that’s fair and I think its kind of tacky. I try to look at it like games like Uncharted 4 have spoiled us. I always try to do my best to not compare games other games because I don’t think its fair.

Normally I like to talk about the story a little bit in these “reviews” but for this game, I’m not going to bother because the story is forgettable. The characters themselves are also fairly forgettable as well. Although in traditional Bioware fashion, you do get to romance characters so that’s something you can do if you want to.

Right at the start of the game, your first choice is to pick whether you want to be the male of female Ryder. They’re twins so your choice is Scott or Sara. I chose the male, Scott because I’m a guy and I almost always go with the character that best represents me in these scenarios. I know its boring but that’s just the way I play games.

Bouncing back to the Romance options, the person I became most interested in was a character named Suvi. It’s not because the character was necessarily that great, I just liked her voice and more specifically the Scottish accent. Unfortunately, I discovered that Suvi can only be romanced by Sara so she was no longer an option. At that point, I switched focus and had to choose between a woman named Cora who was kind of manly and I don’t like her hair or Peebee who is an alien race and a very annoying character. I ended up going with Cora and as I got to know her a little bit better she kind of grew on me. I think it is important to note that the only reason I even did this was for the trophy. I don’t what it is but watching video game sex (or any animated sex) makes me uncomfortable. I think about the animators staying up late and working overtime just to animate the sex scene. It’s just weird.

Ultimately what kept me playing this game was the shooting. Its a very well made third-person shooter. The shooting is tight the action is exciting and I have nothing but positive things to say about the combat. I genuinely had a good time playing this game because of the combat.

I’m trying to think if this is a game that I would recommend. If you’re a fan of the mass effect series and you like Mass Effect because of the story and interesting characters. Stay away but if you’re in the market for a good third person shooter. Then yes, I would recommend picking this up.

What really annoyed me though was during sidequests... someone would tell me to check my email.. then i'd need to go to a planet and talk to someone.. then i'd need to go to another planet and talk to someone else.. then i'd need to drive for ten minutes and then there'd be a battle.. then I'd drive back and talk to that person again. The quests are prolonged and dragged out unnecessarily. Towards the end of the game I was getting so tired of it. If I keep getting redirected from planet to planet so then i had to deal with loading screen after loading screen. It's bad game design and that's what pushed the score down to a 7 for me.
The combat is great and planetary exploration and terraforming is a lot of fun too. It's disappointing (especially the characters and story) but it's certainly not a bad game.

All in all, this game was a very satisfying experience for me. I am glad I bought and finished it. Andromeda definitely deserves 9. It is my favourite action-RPG game of 2017. The game is extremely detailed - you can learn a lot of things by reading journals and manuals, talking to locals, your crew members and other travelers. So you can get your head in the game.
The only more detailed game I played is Witcher 3. But it was too detailed, to such an extent that I was even bored at the end, trying to read everything and talk to everyone.
Andromeda really made me feel like I was exploring a different galaxy. And this is important. It is an atmospheric game - the most valuable game quality for me.
What strikes me about this game is that there is such a big amount of unreasoned negative reviews. How such a wonderful game may deserve 2-3? Impossible. Even if you don't like the story as much as I do, still it can't be less than 5-6. Developers definitely worked hard to make this game as good as it is. True, it is not as polished as it could be. But still, it is a decent game with many strengths. And like any other game, it has it's weaknesses. It doesn't seem like such a big deal, though.

Well, ok, impression is that Bioware was so bad on funds that they killed an amazing franchise with an amateur semi-AAA release to raise some basic funds. In short: combat is ok, crafting, new game plus, char develoment are quite bad. Beating the game leaves "what the **** impression. While i cant say that story or side quests are generally bad, they suffer sometimes. Voeld is pretty good actually, Kadara too.But general scenario/conception suffer big time. I ll give a credit to scenario team that you realize that you ve been ****ed only around game's end but well. Instead of giving the feeling of satisfaction the game exposes its weaknesses near the end.
Does it worth nearly 100usd/eu - yes definitely. Despite all the **** and all the failed expectations its still a very good game. Its a very poor extending of mass effect franchise nevertheless. But still the game as is with all its flaws is definitely a solid AAA release

The prospect of having a memorable space adventure is exciting to some gamers. Furthermore, many gamers crave action RPGs. One would think if you combined the two this would be an awesome game. Couple this with the storied history of the original Mass Effect trilogy and you’d be puzzled as to why Bioware produced such a disappointing game.

If you’re wondering what makes Mass Effect Andromeda tick then look no further. Stay tuned for this review of Mass Effect Andromeda.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is an action role-playing video game developed by BioWare Montreal and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.

    Story

Mass Effect: Andromeda begins in 2185, between the events of the second and third games in the original trilogy. The four Citadel Council races and the Quarians launch a strategy called the Andromeda Initiative. Each race sends 20,000 citizens on a one-way, 600-year journey to Andromeda aboard their own transportation vessel, called an Ark, and selects a leader, known as a Pathfinder. Shortly after waking from hyper sleep you take control of one of two twins: Scott or Sara Ryder. So begins your arduous journey to populate the new solar system.

    Gameplay

Mass Effect Andromeda plays well for the most part. As a third person action RPG you’re able to run, boots jump, and use powers called biotics. Unfortunately the clunky menus and confusing interface will have you confused. The player can adjust the look of their character, but any attempt will result in a weird mannequin looking monstrosity. The combat might be the best part of this game. The joy of linking your biotics together with your teammates is satisfying and beckons you to enjoy more. Unfortunately due to the lack of a crouch button, constant glitches, and horrible optimization destroys all joy you might feel.

    Graphics

By now the unanimous opinion on this games graphics is quite clear. Horrible is too nice a word to address this section. Bioware must have been asleep during facial animation classes. As of the time of this video the game has been patched, but still plays and looks like crap. Bottom line is the graphics should be the last thing a triple a title lacks.

    Music/sound

The music in this game is forgettable and the voice acting is ten times as deplorable. Once again Bioware and EA must have out sourced these areas to drunken bums because that is the amount of care it seems they gave to this area. You’ll be better of playing your own music and imagining the dialogue.

    Playback

The good news is Mass Effect Andromeda is filled with things to do. From your main mission of populating the Heleus Cluster to the loyalty missions this game will have you busy for a long time. There are more than enough planets to help colonize and the loyalty missions help you flesh out and get to know your shipmates. This has been the hallmark of the Mass Effect series so there should be no surprise at its generous offerings.

    Summary Score

Many gamers waited years in anticipation for this new iteration of their beloved franchise. Instead they were given what some would call a shell of the old games. Marred with controversy, bad graphics, and empty promises Bioware has failed to deliver the Triple A Space RPG adventure many were promised. Mass Effect isn’t a bad game, but on the other hand nor is it an outstanding game. Many other games have faced the same woes, but not in such a huge combination of follies. Mass Effect Andromeda gets a 6.5 out of 10.

Once you get into the game you will occasionally find a questline that provides an enjoyable experience, but those are few and to often entirely missable. Few low quality quests would have greatly improved this game.

The combat system is fine and combat can be an enjoyable activity.

I am a huge fan of the previous Mass Effect installments, so much so that giving this game such a low rating hurts, but I can not love this game with so many obvious flaws. I have completed the game twice and reached level 80, and so I feel as though I can give a thorough review.

Firstly, lets delve into the problems with the writing. The story feels rinsed and repeated, following along with the generic layout of "big galactic bad guys want to destroy us, so lets get all the aliens under our banner and defeat them together." And it feels like I should care that the whole initiative is at stake but I just simply do not. Right from the get go the story is thrown onto your lap and you go from there, but there is no mystery or build up like there was in the original Mass Effect.
Not only this, but there is also the problem of all the bad guys in Bioware games as of late being unfeeling, generic 'super villains', which is the same mistake they made with Corypheus in DA:I. A long with this they missed several opportunities, they could have perhaps made the story more interesting by having the player be able to choose the race of their Pathfinder similar to their Dragon Age series, it would certainly have been interesting to play as the Turian or Asari Pathfinder and I'm sure many fans would have loved the opportunity to do so. My main problem with the main story is there is no compelling force driving the story forward until the mission before the last, and only then is a 'mystery' given to us that seems worthy of investigation, but by then I am sure many players had already put their controllers down and called it a day.

Story aside, there is also the problem with dialogue and interactions between Ryder and their crew feeling forced and unnatural. Talking to the crew feels like a chore, the characters given to us this time around just aren't as interesting as those in the previous games, and it's a real shame because with this being a whole new galaxy and a clean slate Bioware has missed several opportunities. It's the same "Turian, Krogan, Asari, Human male, Human female and Other" layout, and they all fall into more-or-less the same role as the crew of the Normandy. This, paired with the strange dialogue and writing choices makes for a boring crew. I often find myself pausing within a cut scene and thinking "wait, what did they just say?" more times than I would have liked. I have found a lot of the writing is juvenile and written so poorly it could have been easily mistaken for a fanfiction.

Take for example Liam's line "I think that one is mad at me. Probably because I shot it in the face." this quite literally sounds like something I would have said in middle school. Or perhaps Ryder's words in Jaal's romance line "I'm glad you can be so open and vulnerable with me." and his reply "You make me feel safe." if this cringe inducing dialogue does not sound like high-school girl level fanfiction to you, I'm not sure what else to say. And let us not forget Addison's ironic, yet infamous line "I'm sorry, my face is tired." These are but a few snippets of poor writing, which mixed with a generic and boring cast create a cocktail of 'meh.' The only redeeming quality of the crew is their loyalty missions, which is where you feel like you see a glimmer of something resembling an interesting character before they dissolve back into 'meh' once the quest is over.

But, aside from the disappointing cast and main story, the plus side is that the combat in ME:A is largely improved compared to the previous ME installments and is quite literally the most fun thing to do in the game besides space exploration. With SAM being so closely linked to the main character, the player is free to choose any skills and abilities they wish and is not limited to one class per play through, which creates a truly unique play style that you can customize to suit your preference.

Another good thing about the game is planetary exploration, and while getting to those planets may be boring and tedious due to un-skippable cut scenes, the worlds are unique and quite often breathtaking to look at and explore. The quests on each planet may often be watered down to fetch quests, but the planets themselves, along with the nomad to explore them in are quite fun to play around with, and you may end up finding yourself lost in some random quest on some far flung corner of the map and completely forget there was a main story at all.

Although I must also point out character customization is very limited, and I found myself wondering why I couldn't make my skin lighter than a tan, or why I couldn't adjust the shape of my eyes at all. It was very frustrating.

And finally, a flaw that I am sure many, many people have already commented upon is the facial animations and all the bugs that were present upon release, but I don't really feel like beating a dead horse.

I am now out of space, but overall I am disappointed. Very disappointed.

MEA turned out to be a great game even though I was disappointed and expected much more, the story may feel unoriginal but still has that Mass Effect feel. Afterall this was made by BioWare Montreal and this is their first major project. I have faith in BioWare and I'm sure MEA2 will improve a lot more as there is so much left to be answered.

Even considering the technical issues this is the best game I have played this year. The visuals are amazing and the graphics are great (PS4 on 4K LCD). Combat and game mechanics are intuitive and probably the best of any Mass effect game. The story is simplistic but the whole point of the game is to explore Andromeda and reset from the complete dead end the writers were left with after ME3. If you want to understand the depth of the story by learning motives and details about new species then you will have to spend a lot of time exploring, reading data pads and completing side quests. This game is by no means perfect and without so many overly critical reviews from people who want everything in the story spelt out for them, I would have been more critical. This game is clearly meant to be the opening act of a trilogy (just like ME1) and therefore is less fast paced and spends a lot of time establishing the narrative needed for later games. I would highly recommend this title, BioWare clearly dropped the ball rushing this out but having paid full price I am very content with the value for money having played more than 80 hours on my first play through. Couldn't finish it. I heard about all the bugs and the facial animations and as a long time fan of the franchise I thought I could see through it. But while the story is bad, the dialogue and delivery is even worse. All quests require you to run from terminal to terminal to terminal with very little interesting stuff in between.

My review for Mass Effect: Andromeda after I finished the game. I thought it was an irregularity, but likeable because the combat gameplay was one of positive quality, the RPG elements helped the balance within the game. Not the perfect gem that is Witcher 3 but still a great open world RPG. On its own, however, it's great. As for its political themes, Bioware has never shied away from such, but maybe some ME fans weren't old enough to realize this before? The story of refugees seeking asylum from a war-torn homeland may be unique to gamer, but it serves as an interesting reflection of today's cultural climate.... and that's one of the things sci-fi does best, places a mirror to ourselves and asks what if? The backlash against such a storyline is a sign of our political climate, not any change on the Bioware's part... regardless of who's the head of the writing team. Sure, day one had some hiccups, but the updates have patched most everything that drove down its initial score. One more note: the hoopla against the default female Ryder is ridiculously immature, and if adolescent gamers wishing to capitalize on the male gaze didn't know, you can customize the look and gender of your character all you want. In short, check this game out. It's not something that will hook you in the opening minutes (or even first hour), but given time, you'll find it being a great little itch you have to scratch. After all, the galaxy needs you, Pathfinder. Expand

I was glad to get the opportunity to play this game after a number of fixes have been implemented, I have not played pre-1.05 and have only experienced minor issues, most of which were resolved upon updating graphics drivers (Yes this game really does require the latest!)

My expectations were perhaps lower than average seeing as this game has come off the back of the remarkable achievement that is the original Mass Effect trilogy; however I feel that this game sets the foundation well to expand on in future installments.

I feel like the game could have benefited from more characters with more diverse dispositions and personalities, some of the playable characters seemed very similar to previous incarnations. As a new race the Angara felt more human than alien in everything other than appearance, which is surprising considering that Andromeda is a different galaxy entirely. It would have been good to see more cultural quirks come into play.

    All in all, 8/10

I also want toI bought a PS4 Pro in order to play MEA in all its glory. However the game failed to not only stand as tall as its predecessors, but also close to the minimum standards they set. Before going any further I would like to make crystal clear that I am extremely liberal with all genders and I actually favor equality among them. I just don't want gender politics in my games! I also want to mention that I usually have 3 tiers of scoring a game which I will explain below:

TIER 1 - How does it stand among all videogames - 4/10

MEA is a decent 3rd person shooter with many bugs and glitches as well as a childishly writen and mostly boring storyline that picks up pace and interest in the final 2 hours. NOT what you want from a ME game. It is a half-finished product that plainly depicts the panic the studio had with how almost all aspects of the game would look, from character appearance (yes the facial animations) to the entire story. Most importantly the game killed the main gameplay mechanic that made sense, the dialog wheel, going from Paragon/Renegade to "emotional development choices that in the long run affect your character". Never noticed that. Finally, and I will explain this more in later Tiers, the game is destroyed by amateur attempts to infuse it with sociopolitical propaganda, mainly feminist, something that was both unecessary and insulting to the gamer community. Studies show that people who play videogames are generally "Smarter" so why don't just go with that instead of cramming into our throats politics we already know and respect and that should ALWAYS stay out of the entertainment industry? MEA is Bioware's greatest missed opportunity, a poor game compared to many other AAA titles you can play.

TIER 2 - How does it compare to other games of the genre 5/10

ME 1,2,3 set a high bar. The trilogy however taught Bioware nothing of how important the story is to any game. Even if I took this out, the game fails to reach even the standards itself created. It was a game about exploration instead of an inwards-looking, character development storyline, ok let's try that I am game, I am open to new things. However the exploration part was reppetetive, uninspired and generic. I expected to explore a Galaxy and find at least 4-5 new species indeginous to it, same as ME 1. I got 3, and all boringly executed and writen mostly. The Agara could have been more fleshed out and less naive, the Remnant are interesting at first only to get squashed by repetitiveness and the Kett are an ugly and hilarious enemy to be against. I simply never felt threatened by them. With this fact us players were left with the need to look for entertainment in the characters and not the repetitiveness- emptiness of Andromeda. But the characters, with the exception of Peebe, Jaal and Drack were UNINTERESTING and most importantly, intentionally posing as feminist political cues. Simply put, the entire crew of the Tempest exists as a character empowerement of Sara Ryder. There are simply no powerful males in there. Drack is no A male, just a grumpy old man to respect, not antagonize, Liam is the less interesting, wining excuse of a human being, Cora is steel cold and irritating. Vetra is quicky reduced from a powerful female to a caregiver mother figure that overprotects her little sister, Gil is a guy that struggles to find his pace with a platonic relationship with his lady friend and so on. One could say that comparing them to characters like Garrus and Liara is unfair since we had 3 games with them and they grew on us. But that is not true, they were all amazing, even from the very first game. In ME 1,2,3 I wanted to go back to the ship and talk to my complanions as much as possible. In MEA I wanted to be out of the ship as much as possible in order to take breaks from conversations I knew I had to listen to because I paid 70 euros for them. That is not how a ME game should feel like. Finally, the Arks' storyline is a missed chance to flesh the story more.

TIER 3- What does it "do for me" as a fan? 7/10

Ok, let's take a breather. We waited for this game patiently for 4 long years. Let's take some of the good stuff out of it and remember it as a "slow" origins story isntead of a complete one. Peebe is AWESOME. I kept going back to the Tempest just to get as much out of her as possible. Incredibly satisfying choice for a romance as well, by far the most well writen and that says a lot for the rest of the crew. The Remnant story, although mired by repeating themes (the final 2 vaults were a chore, not a wonder) they open the game to sequels in an extremely interesting way. Drack was a laugh and Suvi and Kallo simply adorable. Ryder is descently writen and stands almost as tall as Shepard as a leader, fighting her way not only though a very bad storyline that does not do her justice but also an amazingly executed internal fight with herself, her family and the terrible truth of Mikly Way's ultimate fate.

It might be the biggest, most complex and action packed game in the franchise, but Mass Effect: Andromeda is also the least convincing one. The dated facial animations, the inconsistent writing quality and the regularly occurring bugs take you out of the experience too often. On top of that, BioWare has not used the concept of a whole new universe to its full potential, which often makes it feel like Mass Effect: Andromeda has not left our Milky Way at all.

While it’s underwhelming in places, there’s a lot to like as you venture into the weirder parts of Andromeda. Frequent technical issues hamper the experience a bit, as does an uninspiring main story. [June 2017, p66]
