Jun 19, 2017The most disappointing game of the year so far. The game has superb gameplay, but the game has really bad writing, facial animations, and an average story. Not much I can say that hasn't been said already.

Apr 13, 2017I already completed this game twice and i give it a 9.5/10 the only bad things that i found in this game are some bugs, facial expressions and some secondary missions are kinda boring but other than that, the game is great one of the best i've ever played and i don't know why all the hate on this game.

May 5, 2017MEA turned out to be a great game even though I was disappointed and expected much more, the story may feel unoriginal but still has that Mass Effect feel. Afterall this was made by BioWare Montreal and this is their first major project. I have faith in BioWare and I'm sure MEA2 will improve a lot more as there is so much left to be answered.

Apr 21, 2017Couldn't finish it. I heard about all the bugs and the facial animations and as a long time fan of the franchise I thought I could see through it. But while the story is bad, the dialogue and delivery is even worse. All quests require you to run from terminal to terminal to terminal with very little interesting stuff in between.

Oct 19, 2017It might be the biggest, most complex and action packed game in the franchise, but Mass Effect: Andromeda is also the least convincing one. The dated facial animations, the inconsistent writing quality and the regularly occurring bugs take you out of the experience too often. On top of that, BioWare has not used the concept of a whole new universe to its full potential, which often makes it feel like Mass Effect: Andromeda has not left our Milky Way at all.

Playstation Official Magazine AustraliaJul 7, 2017While it’s underwhelming in places, there’s a lot to like as you venture into the weirder parts of Andromeda. Frequent technical issues hamper the experience a bit, as does an uninspiring main story. [June 2017, p66]

Games Master UKJun 6, 2017A welcome, if slightly patch return for Mass Effect. The script has problems, but combat is bloody brilliant. [May 2017, p.62]
