    Kept off playing the game any further than the first mission after launch, hoping it would improve. Nope, I was wrong. It did not improve, and it's just as awful now as then. Huge fan of the first 3 games, but this is just bad.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. the game looks very good at first glance but it s story is very disappointing indeed. there is good thing about that actually and that is when you "beat" the game (or get beaten by it) it is not less fun as there is no "real" plot going on at any given moment in the game. aliens look absolutely ridiculous and i can not accept them like superior creatures even though it s just a game. planets do look rather nice so that s a plus and uncovering them is fun too . and that idiot Jaal when i played the game it went in direction that shouldnt have existed in first place where Ryder was hit by Jaals romantic nonsense and she ended up kissing him..OMG ..i skipped the rest of the cutscene ...maybe she jerked him off too AHAAHAAHAH ignorance is bliss sometimes but in my case i didnt last very long .in my further adventures in andromeda JAAL demands to have sex with Ryder ....awful ...just disgusting ....0… Expand

    I never like the combat in Mass Effect franchise because using gun in such futuristic setting should only occur in sarcasm movies like Starship troopers. If the game is good in general, a good combat system is a bonus. But the combat cannot change everything.     I was skeptical about this game because the ending of ME3 ruined the entire trilogy. I was so disheartened that I never play ME since I finished ME3. However, Andromeda's story is even worse right in the very beginning. The game was rushed so I tempered my expectation. I actually don't mind the graphical glitches because these issues can be patched eventually. But the story is so bad that I feel torn apart, even in the first hour. I was just speechless, after the first hour of play through, after three years waiting. I don't think I will ever want to play a mass effect game again.
    This is kind of the game that should never been released. Andromeda offers nothing innovative. A mediocre game has no value of existing.    … Expand

    Killed the ME spirit. The redundancy in the side missions, even main missions...so boring. Combat, decent. Graphics... insulting. I want my $ back and I'm gonna play ME1-2-3 again instead.

    Andromeda today in its current state is a fantastic game end of! Yes when it first released it was broken but today all patched it’s worthy alongside the previous trilogy. As a fan and bought each game multiple times on PS3/PC and PS4 any chance to revisit the universe is a pleasure. I accept the choices made by the design teams and just get on with enjoying the game they made for usAndromeda today in its current state is a fantastic game end of! Про анимацию и так все все знают - но для меня с релизом умерла надежда, что это отдельные сцены, нет - все сцены в игре такие. Кастрированный редактор персонажа, в котором, при этом огромный раздел "косметика". Персонажи, воплощающие самые заезженные клише. Да, в игре красивые пейзажи, да джетпак прикольный, и первое время перестрелки могут доставлять, но готовы ли вы простить игре, в названии которой "Mass Effect", полное отсутствие того, за что все любили эту серию?
    P.S. Такое ощущение, что ЦА этой игры - девочки 10 - 14 лет.    … Expand

Вроде в них пытались что-то заложить, но кроме своих 1-2 миссий, они никак не участвуют в сюжете и жизни гг. Понравились только локации планет, красиво, но уже на середине игры вам сильно надоест кататься по ним.
    Концовка сможет разочаровать даже если вы от неё ничего особого не ждёте. Это дно дна с надрывным пафосом и постоянным комментированием всеми всех наших действий. Никто не затыкается ни на минуты и говорят банальные фразы из самых низкосортных боевиков 90-х.    … Expand

This iteration struggles to replicate even the most seemingly basic aspects of what a mass effect game should be. Interaction in dialog is heavily reduced from the previous entries and the facial animations have taken a huge step backward to a point where the game is immersion breaking and unintentionally hilarious, however, when the game does attempt to be humorous with inappropriately timed jokes amid combat it makes even the most cringe worthy of disney jokes seem passable. Ironically the shallow linear based gameplay of mass effect 2 and 3 are significantly more enjoyable than the tedious exploration based gameplay of Andromeda.… Expand

    Card... CARD for upgrading/tuning your Car... what a joke and even the most lazy way i could think of... pathatic... the "Story" is cheesy I Hope someday EA will get bankrupt for the stupid s**t

    Симулятор космического бомжа. Таскаешься по системам чтоб собрать кучку материалов для апдейта винтовки. Анимация из систем симпатичная, но надоедает со второго раза, отключить нельзя только частично пропустить. Афрокомпаньён раз в 10 минут начинает дергаться как паралитик ну и т.п. плюшки. I played every game they produced, but characters are just simply getting more and more ugly. I don't understand why but I can't bear play any ugly characters especially the female ones. I didn't throw away this game disc because I was hoping one day they will beautify the issue but it seems they don't, so bye bye Andromeda and I wouldn't buy any bioware games before I see the characters in the future.… Expand

Though, the smoother combat couldn't mask the awful story, pacing, voice-acting, and characters, especially in contrast to what one may have experience in the original Mass Effect trilogy. Avoid paying for this at all costs, as there is little to no passion in this period of Bioware'sNo issues with the graphics or feel of the game.     I bought it in a bargain bin. Man oh man, this is a bad game on all ends. Terrible story, terrible gameplay. Nothing about it is exciting.

Never even finished it due to all the glitches I encountered as well as stupid AI, map markers that jump around, characters scream the same 2-3 things over and over and for the sizes of the maps it just feels extremely empty aside from a couple battles. The dialogue is cringey and awkward and they have ZERO emotional depth. There are also almost no weapons compared toThis game is trash.     Loved the Mass Effect trilogy (with the exception of the asinine "Citadel" dlc for ME3). "Andromeda", however, is an absolute steaming heap of tedium and unintuitive controls. A more appropriate title would have been "Lost in Space".

    One of the worst games ever made, EVERYTHING about it is bad. Broken, buggy, nightmarish looking faces and animations, awful voice acting and wokeness, bad dialog. Belongs on a trash heap.

    I’ve played for something like 12 h and stopped because this game is such a piece of s*** that causes me headache!! No dubbing in Italian (I’m italian) and that’s the first mess. The technical sector sucks, I don’t like the location, it has constantly framerate problems, too many same characters. It’s boring. I will definitely not buy a Game from EA and BioWare for a while from now. ReallyI’ve played for something like 12 h and stopped because this game is such a piece of s*** that causes me headache!!     This game destroyed the mass effect franchise and I hate it for that. It was boring as hell and the complete opposite quality of the original trilogy.
    I didn't even make it past the half way point, I was done with how boring it was.
    This game was also far to buggy and the AI also sucked.
    And don't get me started on the facial expressions.

    It might be the biggest, most complex and action packed game in the franchise, but Mass Effect: Andromeda is also the least convincing one. The dated facial animations, the inconsistent writing quality and the regularly occurring bugs take you out of the experience too often. On top of that, BioWare has not used the concept of a whole new universe to its full potential, which often makes it feel like Mass Effect: Andromeda has not left our Milky Way at all.

    While it’s underwhelming in places, there’s a lot to like as you venture into the weirder parts of Andromeda. Frequent technical issues hamper the experience a bit, as does an uninspiring main story. [June 2017, p66]
