Sep 8, 2020Marvel has not payed me enough to make this a positive review.
Hey Disney 80 bucks and we can turn this 6 into a 9, how about that? -
Sep 10, 2020I don't like loot system and story base.I think loot and co-op system ruined the story.Story could be better.
But still it's nice to be playing Marvel Superheroes.
Finally combat system is great and perceivable. -

Dec 12, 2020After a beta that ended the game, and horrible mismanagement of the live service aspect. We are left with a game that has a fun, if underwhelming gameplay loop and a decent campaign story. Maybe a great pickup for the bargain basement bin when you want to get some of that marvel content in your blood (or watch the campaign played on YouTube instead)

Jan 24, 2021The gameplay, the fights and the graphics are cool, but it's so disappointing. Specially for me, that I'm a huge Marvel fan, I was expecting so much more. The only gold here is Kamala Khan as Ms. Marvel.

Mar 23, 2023Combat is above average. Unfortunately, not enough to carry this game riddled with microtransactions, bugs and a soulless grind.
When the game is set free in September, I imagine playability improves. -
May 25, 2023quite a underwhelming game i wish they put as much care into it as guardians of the galaxy
-
Sep 8, 2023for what i remember its not really a complete disaster, but its so forgettable that i can't bear to go back and play again to se if its as uninteresting it looked back then, pure waste.

Sep 5, 2020As a beta player, I was hoping to sit down and revise the game. But it's the same tough game as the beta. What is the use of the beautiful graphics and the good characters when I am annoyed by the same process?

Sep 4, 2020Cons: The game has several performance issues and bugs. There is currently no option to reset talent points, lack of variety of enemies.
Pros: You choose your gameplay the way you want. Ex: You can be ranger Iron Man or melee or mixed. All heroes have unique abilities which will make you choose your main hero to focus on the final content. Kamala Khan is the strength of the campaign mode. -

CD-ActionNov 16, 2020It could’ve been a great single player title. The publisher chose to go down the game as a service path though, and those who prefer to play solo need to tackle run-of-the-mill co-op missions. The multiplayer on the other hand is messy, chaotic and in the long run boring. When the developers manage to fix the most pressing bugs and find a way to bring more variety to co-op, this might become a solid game. Right now, I can only recommend it to the biggest fans of the Avengers. [11/2020, p.26]

Nov 2, 2020This is the perfect example of "Games as a Service" done right. Marvel's Avengers offers up a superb campaign story to play through that is promised to be expanded on in the future. The gameplay may be repetitive, but it includes just enough to keep players interested and invested in the endgame content that is available now to keep this game going until the next step in its roadmap. The possibilities and potential in the future here are hugely exciting.

Nov 1, 2020There have been plenty of moments during my time with Marvel's Avengers where I’ve genuinely had a great time. But this game keeps finding ways to drag itself down- at times it almost feels like it goes out of its way to do so. There’s just so much here that I can’t overlook, no matter how hard I may try. An unnecessary and broken loot system, a litany of horrible technical issues, uninspired and one-note mission design, and a story that fails just as much as it succeeds- it doesn’t matter how mindlessly fun the combat is, it isn't enough to overcome such a heavy list of problems.
