Sep 7, 2020It's an ok outing featuring some of Marvel's most beloved characters. Enjoyed what was there, but throughout my time with the game, it felt like it could have been so much more at launch. I will say, however, that the characters are unique enough to differentiate from one another but despite this, combat and missions eventually feel repetitive.

Feb 22, 2021Entertaining story-driven game that reimagines the Marvel universe in interesting ways. Gameplay can be repetitive but it is beautiful and I really enjoy playing as the different heroes. I bought it on deep discount during the holidays and it has been worth every bit of the money and time I have invested.

Sep 5, 2020To be honest im having a blast as of right Now. It plays like a game from late last gen which is fine but its doesnt do anything amazing or different from other titles. Each Character plays Unique and each has there own

Dec 15, 2020good game but monotonous and it's a pity the graphics are not shining, I hope they will add content with time and create graphics with a ray on PS 5

Sep 3, 2020Has it misses fame rate needs work story could’ve been better no need to put in a character no knows about as the main protagonist. Online needs the most work to keep this game alive. Overall it was ok!

Sep 6, 2020Okay, it doesn't compare to Batman Arkhan and Maver Spider-Man, but it's not a bad game. His campaign is short, there are missions that are very repetitive, but there are legal missions and the story is good. It's not a big game, but it's entertaining.

Sep 4, 2020This game is defo not a 5 the reason i'm giving a 7 is because if they lower the prices for microtransactions and make it easier to get cosmetics i would rate it an 8, but the reason its get 5s is because spiderman is playstation only and people should know that spiderman is owned by sony so stop rating the game so low

Sep 9, 2020Aimed for a game as a service, this Avengers game seems a little different from a story-driven single player game.
-
Sep 4, 2020Overall a fun experience. The story is about 10-12 hours long its not too bad

Sep 23, 2020Pros:
+ decent campaign
+ good variety on heroes controls and skills
+ great iron man controls
Cons:
- buggy
- poor performance on base PS4
- poor enemy variety
- horrible level design
- gear doesn't affect looks
- game as a service is incredibly boring -
Feb 1, 2023I played the ps5 version. And I didn't think that I would like it at all, but if we leave the online part of the game aside, the story part was really enjoyable for me, although it was not at the first level, but it was the best game of the avenger series. In short, I can't believe that I enjoyed this disappointing game so much!

Sep 8, 2020The campaign is a fun and good story that kept me interested in the game. Each hero feels different but also the same. There are a lot of microtransactions for skins but they are optional.

CD-ActionNov 16, 2020It could’ve been a great single player title. The publisher chose to go down the game as a service path though, and those who prefer to play solo need to tackle run-of-the-mill co-op missions. The multiplayer on the other hand is messy, chaotic and in the long run boring. When the developers manage to fix the most pressing bugs and find a way to bring more variety to co-op, this might become a solid game. Right now, I can only recommend it to the biggest fans of the Avengers. [11/2020, p.26]

Nov 2, 2020This is the perfect example of "Games as a Service" done right. Marvel's Avengers offers up a superb campaign story to play through that is promised to be expanded on in the future. The gameplay may be repetitive, but it includes just enough to keep players interested and invested in the endgame content that is available now to keep this game going until the next step in its roadmap. The possibilities and potential in the future here are hugely exciting.

Nov 1, 2020There have been plenty of moments during my time with Marvel's Avengers where I’ve genuinely had a great time. But this game keeps finding ways to drag itself down- at times it almost feels like it goes out of its way to do so. There’s just so much here that I can’t overlook, no matter how hard I may try. An unnecessary and broken loot system, a litany of horrible technical issues, uninspired and one-note mission design, and a story that fails just as much as it succeeds- it doesn’t matter how mindlessly fun the combat is, it isn't enough to overcome such a heavy list of problems.
