    Another grindy game concentrated on donation money. Very boring gameplay. Spiderman was so much better than this.

    Square used too much money to make this game. Sony making Spiderman exclusive was not a good move. The game is not fun at all.

    Awful repetitive Fanboy based boring game.. the only people who are actually saying they enjoy this game is just to piss off Xbox gamers LOL this game is worse than the destiny 2. It's soulless and I got my money back. Spider-Man isn't worth getting this game I'll wait for the real game

    By far one of the worst games I’ve ever played. Combat is pretty terrible. The campaign is single payer only, no multiplayer. Matchmaking is a joke. I sit in lobby for 2 hours to find someone to play with in multiplayer and by the off chance I find someone to play with, they are stationary at the starting point of the game. Think of playing Anthem or Destiny with no one to play with. The combat feels like everything is based on “Power Rolls”. You have 5 power? Enemy destroys you at power 6. This game is unbalanced, nothing like the trailers, you do not feel like a super hero. You feel like a noob for even thinking of purchasing this cash grab of a game. What a waste of an avengers game. Yea you can fly around as iron man, that’s it. Can’t complete the campaign with friends, can’t even find people in matchmaking to play the co-op with, which is 20 missions of the same thing. Ridiculous. What a waste of money. Worst game I’ve ever bought. Not even close to what the trailers show you. The trailer is literally the first level of campaign mode. Where you play all the characters by yourself. No crazy set pieces in multiplayer, just mundane fetch quests with enemies that are way to hard to beat for a superhero. This game had promise. It was meant to be fun. I honestly have no fun in sitting in a lobby waiting for other players to join then doing fetch quests leveling up my gear for the next fetch quest. Whoever made this game are complete idiots. This is the worst game I’ve ever played on a technical level, and I’ve probably played all AAA games ever made. Trust me this is not the Avengers game that you want. Graphics are outdated too. What a wasted of a brand. Go F**k yourself Marvels The Avengers. I hope you don’t steal. I hope you don’t steal money from anyone else. If you like this game you are a pleeb with no motivation or a brain. You can go f**k yourself too. You don’t belong in gaming. Just because it has an avengers “Skin” means nothing when the game is a wreck of bs fetch quests and no matchmaking capabilities . Garbage. 0/10

    Played for about an hour and got a refund, what a waste of time, graphics are dated, game play is sloppy, what a waste of a franchise game, could of made it so much better if they didn't pander to the woke/SJW's with a Mary sue type character like Ms.Marvel

    Stupid mobile game. Well, for Donat 60 dollars, please, for Donat, buy loot boxes, buy a combat pass, **** you major publishers. A 7-hour game?7 hours? What?Don't buy this garbage! Ghost of Tsushima you get a lot of content for $ 60+ another free add-on with a story co-op - all for $ 60

    as all my reviews for greedy in-game currency. This game is bad, in addition to the greedy in-game currency system, it's a very repetitive game that gets boring after a couple of hours of playing it.

    Anthem 2.0 .. Mind numbing repetitive missions, no loot satisfaction, button mashing boredom.. I don't recommend it to anyone, not even marvel fans.

    This isn't even a game, it's a glorified casino. If you want to get the entire game, DLC, mictrotransactions, pre-order bonuses, etc. You'll be looking at well over 1000 dollars. Save your money for a real game that's not so greedy.

    After 2 months this game is a massive failure. Nowhere near all the hype and EVERYTHING CD and SE promised will not be available any time soon. Copy and paste content. Repetitive mission type. Broken matchmaking, corrupted save games with real money credits not being addressed by the devs. Generic and overpriced skins. No roadmap nor new content coming soon.

    I’m an old guy so I’ve grown up with comic books and I have to say this is one of the worst games I’ve ever played and I’ve been gaming my whole life all of the characters are poorly written with very bad dialogue whoever wrote this game should be fired I could go on for way too long but I’m part Norwegian and I take extreme offense to how Thor was written and portrayed in this game thisI’m an old guy so I’ve grown up with comic books and I have to say this is one of the worst games I’ve ever played and I’ve been gaming my whole life all of the characters are poorly written with very bad dialogue whoever wrote this game should be fired I could go on for way too long but I’m part Norwegian and I take extreme offense to how Thor was written and portrayed in this game this younger generation is just a bunch of **** trying to push their agenda… Expand

    IP-wrangling exclusive content forced by Sony and allowed by Disney. Another GAAS game to waste your time. Free to pay cosmetic prices in your premium game. Bugs, crashes, performance issues galore. Local saves can be exploited or hacked so your progession is pointless.

    It could’ve been a great single player title. The publisher chose to go down the game as a service path though, and those who prefer to play solo need to tackle run-of-the-mill co-op missions. The multiplayer on the other hand is messy, chaotic and in the long run boring. When the developers manage to fix the most pressing bugs and find a way to bring more variety to co-op, this might become a solid game. Right now, I can only recommend it to the biggest fans of the Avengers. [11/2020, p.26]

    This is the perfect example of "Games as a Service" done right. Marvel's Avengers offers up a superb campaign story to play through that is promised to be expanded on in the future. The gameplay may be repetitive, but it includes just enough to keep players interested and invested in the endgame content that is available now to keep this game going until the next step in its roadmap. The possibilities and potential in the future here are hugely exciting.

    There have been plenty of moments during my time with Marvel's Avengers where I’ve genuinely had a great time. But this game keeps finding ways to drag itself down- at times it almost feels like it goes out of its way to do so. There’s just so much here that I can’t overlook, no matter how hard I may try. An unnecessary and broken loot system, a litany of horrible technical issues, uninspired and one-note mission design, and a story that fails just as much as it succeeds- it doesn’t matter how mindlessly fun the combat is, it isn't enough to overcome such a heavy list of problems.
