    Nice game for Marvel fans, for a Lot better after march patch. In fact Im Just giving a 10 because 4.9 is an unfair grade. More like 6/10.

    Wow, just finished the game.. This is honestly the greatest game I've come to know. The fighting is great, the story sucks, and the multiplayer has its problems. It doesn't make it short of a ride and amazing. Buy the deluxe edition 4 times and you'll get 4 receipts in your email. It's amazing, getting not one, not two, and not three receipts but 4 RECEIPTS from Playstation?! This gameWow, just finished the game.. This is honestly the greatest game I've come to know.     The negative reviews are like reading any comment section of any social network app out there. People love to hate these days. Is this game super deep like Skyrim or something? Of course not. It's not supposed to be. It is a very fun game to play! Kids and Marvel fans of all ages will love it!

Yes, it is not for gaming novices who are only able to master a single character at a time - if you don’t know your controller like the back of your hand, Avengers will make you want to put a hole through your TV. It is often very DIFFICULT. But when you find yourself looking at the too-long load screen too often, it’s simply a matter of having to change your strategy rather than cause for crying the game is broken. Occasional bugs are no big deal (I guess I’m not that nitpicky) with a game this size (there is A LOT to do), and nothing that made it unplayable or that can’t be fixed with a patch. If you love breathtaking graphics and stellar, lightning fast combat - Avengers is a solid addition to your catalog. Not mad about it.… Expand

MUA games were never that deep, especially the one on the switch. Yes, there are bugs, and yes, the levels can be repetitive, but it is still good because I knew what to expect.     Estou amando a história do jogo, por mais que a gameplay seja um tanto repetitiva, ela é divertida e você passa horas matando inimigos e aproveitando as dinâmicas de cada herói. Acredito que isso tende a melhorar ainda mais de acordo com que novos heróis cheguem ao jogo.

    I was very in the fence, but I am so pleasent surprised with this title that I decided to be very generous with my grade.

    Its for sure a 8! Just needs some polish and some FPS stability and we have a title to play super heroes and grind for gear and upgrades.

    Loving it!

    While the game has flaws they are quickly being patched out. The release was a bit buggy but this game has an amazing foundation, when all the kinks are ironed out this will go down as a triumph of superhero media

    Finally we got a great Avengers game!, really impressed how they managed to pull off the skills of every hero, very well done. The campaign so far it's been very cool. AVENGERS will last a couple of years, because is totally like Destiny 2, Square will keep adding new content and DLCs. For Fans is a must play, for the rest of the people is also playable, it's like a mix between unchartedFinally we got a great Avengers game!, really impressed how they managed to pull off the skills of every hero, very well done.     Skill trees, great looter, fun combat, each character plays very different everything I expected from this game, wat i didnt expect was how good the campaign story wld be it definitely surprised me, I wld of gave a solid 10 if they wld of finished polishing and ironed out the bugs, but its nothing that ruins the experience

    Actually, it's **** amazing, I love it with all the free DLCs released (and others coming). A lot of content to play, online with friends and people... A little bunch of bugs but well, isn't a problem :) I'm really happy with the game!

    This game is a lot of fun! Excellent campaign, each team member plays differently, more stuff to come. I don't really play multi-player so if that's buggy, oh well. lots to do, and it's just really fun. looking forward to seeing how it evolves down the line. Back to it!

    Let me start off by saying the campaign was much better than I expected, as a Marvel fan it had everything. A good story and villain, a unique protagonist and awesome scenes. There were moments where I could really relate with Ms. Marvel, who is a big fan of the Avengers.

The skill trees are    Let me start off by saying the campaign was much better than I expected, as a Marvel fan it had everything. A good story and villain, a unique protagonist and awesome scenes. There were moments where I could really relate with Ms. Marvel, who is a big fan of the Avengers.

    One of the core strengths of this game are the heroes. They are so well designed and unique. The skill trees are expansive and offer the possibility to customize the hero to you play style. There are also a lot of enemy types, and every one of them attacks with a different timing and range. So it will take time to master your hero and know when to block, vault or dodge.

    This is a looter shooter, so gear is kinda important. But I cannot comment yet on gear as the game is only in early access since tuesday, but I can see it has a lot of potential.

    I absolutely love this game, but there were some cons. I experienced some minor graphical bugs and sound bugs, but nothing game breaking. The vaulting system to jump over an enemy has improved a lot since the beta. Which indicates to me that CD really is listening to the community and adjusting where needed. The dodging and blocking mechanics could use some more love too.

    I play on a base PS4 and had an overall good performance, there were some missions where I had frame drops, so I do hope they will keep optimizing the game on all platforms.

    With the announced operations and updates and much more heroes and content to be added in the future, I will definitely keep returning to this game and look forward to play it on my PS5 at the end of the year. If I could describe this game in one word, it would be FUN. Im really having loads of fun with it, and that is the most important thing, therefore I assemble a user score of 9/10!    … Expand

For those complaining about loot and gear grind... the grind is substantially less than games like Destiny or Warframe, and the new loot you do get and use, makes a meaningful impact into the way you can play your character or cause you to completely reevaluate the way you play and adapt to another playstyle. Yeah, you might be playing some of the same warzones or missions, but by the time you replay them, you’re more powered up, you have different skills, and different gear. No mission really ever plays the exact same and I just love every moment I play this game because I get to see all my superhero fantasies come alive with Hulk smashing his way through everything, Tony flying around and blasting enemies with his lasers mid-combo, and Cap throwing his shield and then throwing a few punches before it comes back to him. The only con I have is how pricey some of the cosmetic items can be, but there is in-game currency (units) you earn to be able to buy those so it’s not like you have to use any real money. It is a bit more of a grind to collect enough units for the real amazing looking costumes or emotes, but when you’re having this much fun, WHO CARES?… Expand

    Marvel's Avengers is absolutely a blast. Great combat, excellent story, good soundtrack and for the most part great voice acting. Travis Willingham is a very good voice actor, but his Thor can be hit or miss.

    As a "Looter" Marvel's Avengers does a very good job. I actually enjoy the fact that the loot doesn't change the look of your characters "armor" or appearance. I don't know how many    Marvel's Avengers is absolutely a blast. Great combat, excellent story, good soundtrack and for the most part great voice acting. I don't know how many times in other games that I have been frustrated by the appearance of a great drop, and opted to keep the lesser of gear because it looked better. The loot is diverse, and there are plenty of drops to go around. And there are a diverse selection of missions and content. This is not half baked!

    Honestly, it was pretty much what I was expecting except for the story which was way better than I expected. The game still have some issues with Frame Rate but comparing it to how it was on the beta it is a big improvement. Can’t wait to see where they will go with this game.

    Really enjoyed the story mode of the game. Ms. Marvel was a great choice to focus the game on. So far the combat has been pretty satisfying and love how each character is different. Voice acting is top notch but a few characters seemed a bit off. Honestly can't wait for the next content drop to see what's next. The game is getting a lot of hate that really isn't deserved.

    Great, fun and Amazing. This game reminded me of what it felt to be an avengers fan. Kamala is amazing and her interactions with the rest of the cast are great. The story mixed with the co op has a lot to do and a lot of fun to be had. The combat is very in depth once you start leveling up.

    Honestly this game is almost perfect. The story is interesting and adds a very underrated character in Kamala Khan, who adds a fresh perspective on the story. The biggest drawback to me is the endgame. It's a grind for gear that does draw rather long as it goes on

Campaign took me 10 hour on normal and that was a lot of fun the multiplayer is where bugs started to show up for me but nothing major happened and for the most part been a seemless 25 hour with way more to come for me… Expand

    I loved the games combat and story even though it was a bit short however I believe the additional free dlc will make up for it the combat is pretty good and you have 4 pages of skill trees which is neat

Combat in this game is something else you can tell the god of war director work on this game the game gets harder as you level up not cause of enemies having more health but because they are generally better fighting enemies you really have to parry.     I love love love the game. I like the graphics, the gameplay, fighting is very exciting. I have been playing Black Widow and at first thought her moves were limited but now that I have got her up to level 22, it's a whole another story.

    I’d been waiting so long for this game and it didn’t disappoint. I’ll give it a 9.5/10 only because I felt as if the story was too short, I loved it so much that it would’ve been great if they had expanded it a bit more. The gameplay is amazing, it feels smooth and fun. The characters and their relationships are amazing, I had my doubts at first but they did an amazing job with them.     I honestly have so much fun playing this game i don't know why people are hating on it without even playing it first.

    The story is fantastic, Gameplay is great, looting could be better but it's fine for now, but other than that I have no complains so far.

    Campaign was much better than I anticipated. Coming from the beta I wasn’t expecting them to deliver as well as they did. They nailed the gameplay feel and personality of the characters. With a super generous dlc model I can’t wait to see where they take the game.

    This rating is based on the campaign of the game. The story of the game was quite impressive. Each character has their own struggle and depth. The level designs were cool and unique for each character. The combat was cool and fun to play. The acting performance was top notch. The only thing that couldve been better was the animations as they were simple.

    The microtransactions are pointless. After a few days I have around 12 skins per character not a penny spent. The story was extremely well done and felt like a Marvel Movie put in to game form. All the characters feel very unique and once you get to the hive missions and hit level 80+ the gear system becomes super important. I would 100%    For a game as a service this is one of the best.

    This is a really fun and great game. I actually made an account to review it because I liked it so much. How are people calling it trash, what are you playing? It was obvious this wasn't spiderman or a batman game you shouldn't have bought it if you were looking for that. They did a great job with it.

    Kicking enemy ass either with Cap's shield, Thor's Hammer, Iron Man's thrusters and so on is such a rewarding feeling and I can't get enough of it. I completed the campaign yesterday and I can see myself playing this for a LONG time to come.

    PROS:
    - The story is pretty good and I felt like I was watching an Avengers movie, but also acting in the fight scenes
    - The combat is fluid and you can set up your own combos pretty easily
    - The controls are easy to understand and responsive to execute
    - There are a lot of skins for you to customize and if you don't like the charatcers' appearence, most skins cover them
    - It grants you a good sense of progress
    - The campaign gives a lot of **** with everything exploding and on fire, so you feel like you have an important role in this
    - The characters are pin-point accurate and I love doing missions while listening to either an awkward Bruce Banner, a sarcastic Black Widow, a narcissist Thor or a witty Tony. Tony by far has the best dialogue in the entire game and I loved it.

    CONS:
    - Can be a bit repetitive
    - Not many maps outside campaign
    - After the campaign, it goes kinda downhill, where nothing is as exciting as the campaign missions, but I haven't done many warzones or raids yet, so I hope they bring it back up a notch
    - Kamala is written in a mediocre way at best, which wouldn't bother me if she wasn't the protagonist and the whole story revolves around her
    - There were a few bugs, from dead enemy models stuck in the air, Thor glitching when he flies and Cap when he throws the shield mid-air, he starts gliding until he hits the ground for some reason
    - Not sure if a looter shooter, or a looter "brawler" if you will, was the best choice for an Avengers game
    - The different items you loot don't show up on your character, which I guess is for the skins to make sense. Wouldn't make much sense to have gauntlets and belts be individual from the skins, but still a bit weird approach

    All-in-all, it's a very good game in my opinion. It gives me a good sense of "Holy ♥♥♥♥, did you see that?? I was amazing!" feeling and that has been something I have longed for in a game for years. I have played this since the 1st of September due to my deluxe edition and I will keep on doing so, seeing this is a game I can put up with my favorites. It might not be GOTY-material, but it's still up there to be nominated. This is easily a 7/10 at least. A pretty good game that held my attention for 21+ hours    … Expand

Gostei do jogo, a campanha teve suas reviravoltas como são em alguns quadrinhos, no jogo cita algumas referências a outros heróis e tem colecionáveis que remete à hqs icônicas dos vingadores, um ponto negativo que achei da história e que em certos momentos que a história está rodando em tempo real acontece casos de cortes fazendo a cena perder um pouco do sentindo ou a emoção da narrativa, e muito bom jogar com os heróis que você gosta e não só isso, mesmo que você use um dos vingadores o jogo faz ter um certo desafio para seus heróis não serem tão fortes assim senão o jogo perder a graça de você não ter pelo menos um pouco de desafio, o jogo também conta com belos gráficos só que em alguns momentos os personagens ou alguma parte do cenário fica um pouco borrado, mas acredito que seja para ficar mais liso o jogo, a jogabilidade e bem dinâmica e você sente o peso de cada herói, agora vamos para alguns pontos negativos achei esse jogo muito focado no multiplayer talvez se fosse um pouco mais na campanha fosse um pouco melhor, a câmera muita das vezes atrapalha e você acaba morrendo nisso ou levando um combo, e o sistema de RPG que emplementaram achei bom porque cada item ali tem algum bônus, mas isso acaba se tornando muito repeti-vo quando você quer pegar um lendário ou épico específico.… Expand

    Greatest game I’ve ever played combat is great, the skill tree is immersive, great story, great characters, great villains, incredible graphics, and so many different enemy types. The one thing they need to fix is some bugs but other than that this game is great and you shouldn’t miss out on it.

    The premise is a mixture between Destiny and beat-em-up games like Ultimate Alliance. You start out as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel. A series of events have left the Avengers broken and disbanded. Your goal is simple - get the band back together and save the world. The reviews saying you are forced to play as Ms. Marvel the whole game are flat out wrong. You start with Ms. Marvel and can quickly use other characters as you progress through the story and unlock them. You can use other characters and level them up for pretty much most missions unless it's a specific character mission, but there aren't many of those.

    I've played a lot since it came out and still I'm only 58% complete with the story. Afterwards, you can play through various multiplayer "strike missions" similar to Destiny and upgrade your gear more and more in order to tackle harder content. Since the game is a live-service, more and more content will be released in the future. There are some bugs and gameplay hiccups that i assume will be patched out soon but i haven't encountered anything that would be gamebreaking thus far.

    All things considered, this is a good game. Graphics are good, the combat is fun, plenty of launch content and more will be released, new heroes are coming soon, and you can kick back with some friends to beat up bad guys as an Avenger. If you enjoy the gear grind of Destiny, enjoy getting loot, or just want some Marvel hero action you can jump in and out of then you should give this a shot.    … Expand

En effet la ou Hulk est lent et dispose d’attaques dévastatrices, Black Widow quant à elle est rapide mais fait peu de dégâts de zone on sent que l’on joue un personnage différent à chaque fois et c’est intéressant. Cela nous force a apprendre les combo correspondant aux différents personnages et à s’améliorer à chaque session de jeu. Alors OUI il y a des bugs et le jeu est parfois mal optimisé mais il faut garder en tête qu’il s’agit d’un GAME AS SERVICE et qu’il sera constamment suivi et corrigé (comme ce fut le cas de Destiny qui était loin d’être bon à sa sortie). Toujours est il que Marvel’s Avengers est un bon jeu qui correspond à un public particulier (ceux qui aime Farmer les loots et/où sont fans de comics) et saura je pense trouver son public et former une communauté sur la durée.    … Expand

    Comic fan game score. MCU can suck it. Thor is not an idiot, Cap is not a metrosexual. Marvel as it should be! Ms. Marvel is a great introduction hero for new to the lore.

    Square Enix's take on Avengers is a fun, silly beat 'em up with an interesting story. While the story's length is shorter than most (around 10 - 15 hours), it is a story that is going to evolve overtime with monthly updates starting with Kate Bishop / Hawkeye in October and November.

    I'm super interested to see how this will all play out in the long run.

There is only one drawback and that keeps me from giving it a 10, and that is micro transactions.     The Game is really fun and looks Good. The story is really well done and my only real issue with the game is the story feels a little too short. I have seen negative reviews saying the game is buggy, it is a shame it isn't perfect from release but it will be fixed that doesn't feel like a good reason to rate a good game badly

    Probé la beta de este juego y me encantó, quizás tiene cosas repetitivas o la historia es corta pero si se juega en coop con amigos se hace mas divertido además de las próximas actualizaciones, estoy consiente sobre los bugs pero todos sabemos que a medida del tiempo se arreglan esperemos

    The story was fresh and nothing you knew from the cinema. Admittedly the endgame is a bit weak on the chest, but if the constant content updates are well implemented, and not only throw a new hero into the round, the endgame will surely be better.
    I'm looking forward to seeing more heroes and will put more and more hours into the game. The only thing I    Marvel's Avengers is a good game.

    Fantastic combat! Each hero plays uniquely different and when they're fully upgraded feel truly heroic. Good story with all-star voice acting. The story mode is a bit short but sets up the multiplayer loot grind which is the real focus. Endgame grind/loot is a bit lackluster at launch and the game is severely lacking content but with time that shouldn't be an issue.

    So many people hating on this game without giving it a chance. I hesitated buying it because of that but after deciding to try it for myself i actually really enjoyed it for the story, cinematics and gameplay. I can see how with some refining of the multi-player and adding more content it could have a lot of depth too. But for the story mode alone, i found it totally worth the time and money.

I love the voice actors as well because they all mostly fit there characters in particular Troy Baker as Bruce Banner, it’s cool to see him in a role like this being more quiet then anyone he would normally play. Sandra Saad as Kamala Khan was one of the best part of this movie because she is a kid trying to deal with these powers and it’s amazing. But Nolan North is the perfect person to play Iron Man I mean he’s Nathan Drake, Deadpool, and so many other funny characters. I also like Lara Bailey as Black Widow who was Nadine Ross in Uncharted 4. Overall I love this game so much man, great story, graphics, great voice acting. Ranking Masterpiece.… Expand

    Expectations exceeded. Great story, 10-ish hour campaign, multiplayer is a blast. There's polish that needs to be addressed but the dev team is competent and communicative. Looking forward to checking in on this one every month to see the further developments with the story and trying new heroes.

In Marvel’s Avengers; players are introduced to Kamala Khan; a huge Avengers fan who is invited to be a Fan Fiction finalist and VIP at the massive A Day convention in San Francisco.

    What starts as a celebration for the famed heroes soon turns tragic and the game picks up five years late in a world where the Avengers and Heroes are no more. A corporation known as AIM has acquired Stark Industries and maintains their version of law and order through specialized forces as robotic Synths. It is revealed that a reactor powered by a new source was to blame for the A Day disaster and it has created Inhumans as a result.

    Kamala finds herself able to stretch her body and upon learning that things on A Day were not as the world has been set to believe sets off with AIM hot on her heels to unlock the clues and save the Avengers.

    Along the way players will play as several of the iconic characters and will encounter group missions where players may be matched online or assigned A.I. companions.

    Each characters has their own unique skills and timed special abilities which recharge after use and can be a game-changer as enemies become more numerous and difficult.

    Each character also has their own combat moves and abilities ranging from ranged attacks to close quarters combat. While The Hulk can throw objects; he is better suited to get in close and mix things up. Iron Man while capable of delivering punches is better used flying and hovering and blasting everything he encounters.

    Part of the joy of the game aside from the engaging story is learning new ways to defeat enemies including some team based body slams and other enjoyable moves.

    Players are based on a Helicarrier and there are plenty of things to explore and naturally numerous cosmetics, upgrades, and such which players can obtain via looting or at many of the vendors they encounter.

    Missions are assigned via a War Table and players have the option to select campaign specific missions or to mix in some side missions as well. Upon completion of the main game; players will have the opportunity to play more side and extra missions and can use a Quick Match open to play with other players as well.

    There were a few glitches along the way on my PC build but while a bit annoying a first they became less frequent as the game went along. Some people may have issues with the look of the characters as Tony Stark for example looked to me more like a young Ben Affleck than Robert Downey Jr. but with so many interpretations of the characters over the years this is a minor issue as I was enveloped by the gameplay quickly.

    Missions are enjoyable and the timed jump sequences are not unreasonable and players looking for a challenge will be able to adjust the game difficulty to a setting that best suits their style of play.

    I first played the game at an invite only meeting during PAX West 2019 and after getting some gameplay time; the developers outlined to us some of the long-term plans for the game from new characters and cosmetics and so on. The game sets up further adventures well and I found myself enjoying the game and characters from starts to finish. The game does a great job establishing Kamala and building her character while giving players plenty of time as the classic Avengers and has more than a few nice surprises along the way.

    micro transactions and a big cost upfront (why div this?) Everything wrong with live service games all in one package. But the campaign is fun! For a time. Has a few moments of cool, followed by others of crappyness. Above average, hoping it gets better as these games sometimes do.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. FYI I was playing on a PS4 PRO with a 4K TV. I also have an upgraded Firecuda SSHD.

    If you were a fan of Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Marvel Heroes, this game is fantastic. I think the best way to describe this one, is Marvel Ultimate Alliance meets Destiny. You get much more character customization/depth similar to MUA, but you also get a new 3D world rather than a top down ARPG. Could it be more expansive? Sure.... But lets face it, we're on extremely outdated tech at this point, and this game pushes that hardware to its limits. In its current state, this game should get a 7 but with all the flat out hate for nonsensical reasons, I'm going to boost my score to 8.

    And all you 0 point reviewers out their... These guys put some serious heart and soul into this game and your dumping all over it. Sure it has its rough edges, but a 0? Keep acting like children, and there wont be devs to make "your" games anymore.

    CONS

    Lets first start by separating fixable problems that are only a temporary issue VS the actual game itself. This way in a month when most of the issues are fixed, people can those aspects into consideration.

    Fixable issues that NEED to be fixed:
    -Matchmaking is BAD
    -Super clunky graphics for movement/moving objects at times
    -We've also had some game crashes and frozen screens, as well as menus being stuck etc
    -More characters!!!!!

    Things that wont be fixed/changed
    -Micro transactions - Yes, there are cosmetic micro transactions but you CAN earn the currency in game, albeit slow. I personally could care less as long as its not P2W, and its NOT in this game.
    -Its not much of a single player experience. The story is actually pretty good, surprised people are complaining about it, although it seems most just disagree with the main character choice (This bothers me, because its preference. I like Ms. Marvel quite a bit, so I liked it a lot). But in the end, this game was made for a co op experience. (But this inst anything new if your a Marvel Ultimate Alliance fan)
    -Load times are pretty terrible. Like really terrible.

    PROS

    Honestly I think overall this game is really good, and its going to be an easy 8 or 9 after they fix the bugs IN MY OPINION AS A CO OP GAMER.
    -Although they can have artifacts at times, the graphics are actually very good on my PS4 PRO on a 4k HDR TV.
    -The game actually runs pretty well for being 4k on the outdated PS4. There were some FPS dips for sure though.
    -With the artifacts from movement, its apparent they focused on precise and responsive controls over graphical performance. I don't see that as a bad thing though, as this is nearly a fighting game and you rely on responses to enemy attacks. These will also likely be optimized over time, and go away.
    For the people who enjoy character customization (as in gear, skill trees etc) you'll be happy to know that each character gets extensive skill trees and gear options (with really cool modifiers we're used to).
    -Characters feel completely different from one another, even their basic attacks, So much so, im actually extremely impressed.    … Expand

    Then there's co op, where the game pits you with 4-players in a open environment to collect loot and help NPCs. Its a decent arcade style looter that can be fun in short burst, however It lacks content to really make this replayable, as all you do is mop adds, secure a zone, destroy and progress to an escape route, in random order.

    I REALLY dislike how the loot is pure stat based and the cosmetic is entirely separate - lots of separation here.

    When its all said and done, the biggest hurdle Crystal Dynamics has to overcome is its consistent bug issues; clipping through worlds, camera running amoke and game break bugs that haults campaign progression. Avengers is exciting and you should look forward to it, but don't expect it to be a seamless experience, its not.    … Expand

    Really wasn't expecting to like this as much as I do. Story is cool, combat fun, looks and sounds incredible. But at the end of the day it's a live service game. You're either into these or your not. And you don't have to purchase micrograms actions, atleast I never do.

    You play through the story of a girl that become inhuman and sets out to make things right.. good vs evil story of coruse, this is a super hero game.. but youll play across this campaign as a variety of characters which is what I love most about marvels avengers.. its cast of charcters stop this game from getting as repetitive as it would have without them… the campaign is very linear feeling like an interactive movie with dashes of collectables for you to find, but again the gameplay isn’t deep enough for me to even care about that, I was focused souley on getting hrough the campaign, and I actually enjoyed my time.. getting to play as different avenger members, all with their own unique feel and play stylethis made fighting these repetive and boring enemies not so repetitive and boring, unlocking new abilities for my avengers, finding different items to equip them with to boost their stats… these things are all great.. sadly though the gameplay agin isn’t deep enough for any of it to really matter outside of leveling up and unlocking new moves.. so it really comes down to this marvels avengers should be viwed more as a single player experience with co optional content… because if you play this strictly for the multiplaer aspect youre going to be disappointed.. that being said.. the campaign wont blow you away either.. not a lot of crazy moments or cool levels, the campaign is definitely lacking on creativifty, but it does switch up the charcters enough to not overstay its welcome, and because of this, it was enjoyable, even the story was enjoyable and that’s coming from someone that hasn’t seen any of the marvel movies… so the ip isn’t all that made me enjoy this game…
    Marvels avengers is far from game of the year, but this is a nice refresh for the marvel universe in the gaming world,

But, what you get in return is a longevity, character variety and depth that are enough to keep you playing for a long time to come,    The mixed reviews look scary at a glance, but don't be put off. And on top of that all? It's fun! Crank the difficulty up and hop in with friends for some tense and tactical coop gameplay that will leave you wanting more.

    I see people complaining about the campaign...The campaign is a great experience, with set pieces and memorable moments to put a smile on your face. I see others complain about longevity and grind... I cant remember the last time I even considered opening up Spider-Man again once the story was done. No problem like that here.

    Once the niggling frame rate issues and (uncommon) gameplay bugs are fixed, we have a stellar super hero action extravaganza here, with something for everyone!    … Expand

    In it's current state I give the game a solid 8. It is very fun for me and it is the first games as a service or "looter shooter" game that has actually captured my attention. I am a huge comic book fan and I absolutely love the combat in this game. The game is a more adult take on Marvel Ultimate Alliance with refined controls and combat. They need to fix the bugs in this game and I amIn it's current state I give the game a solid 8.     It could’ve been a great single player title. The publisher chose to go down the game as a service path though, and those who prefer to play solo need to tackle run-of-the-mill co-op missions. The multiplayer on the other hand is messy, chaotic and in the long run boring. When the developers manage to fix the most pressing bugs and find a way to bring more variety to co-op, this might become a solid game. Right now, I can only recommend it to the biggest fans of the Avengers. [11/2020, p.26]

    This is the perfect example of "Games as a Service" done right. Marvel's Avengers offers up a superb campaign story to play through that is promised to be expanded on in the future. The gameplay may be repetitive, but it includes just enough to keep players interested and invested in the endgame content that is available now to keep this game going until the next step in its roadmap. The possibilities and potential in the future here are hugely exciting.

    There have been plenty of moments during my time with Marvel's Avengers where I’ve genuinely had a great time. But this game keeps finding ways to drag itself down- at times it almost feels like it goes out of its way to do so. There’s just so much here that I can’t overlook, no matter how hard I may try. An unnecessary and broken loot system, a litany of horrible technical issues, uninspired and one-note mission design, and a story that fails just as much as it succeeds- it doesn’t matter how mindlessly fun the combat is, it isn't enough to overcome such a heavy list of problems.
