    For a game as a service this is one of the best.
    The microtransactions are pointless. After a few days I have around 12 skins per character not a penny spent. The story was extremely well done and felt like a Marvel Movie put in to game form. All the characters feel very unique and once you get to the hive missions and hit level 80+ the gear system becomes super important. I would 100%    For a game as a service this is one of the best.

    Crystal Dynamics nailed it, and it has only gotten better for me since reaching max level with my main. I can't wait to see what is in store for the future of this game.    … Expand

    This is a really fun and great game. I actually made an account to review it because I liked it so much. How are people calling it trash, what are you playing? It was obvious this wasn't spiderman or a batman game you shouldn't have bought it if you were looking for that. They did a great job with it.

    Overall a pretty good game, despite what I thought it would be. During the beta, you had a few missions and a few mini-bosses and I had my fair share with that, but then in the actual game, you get so much more. I constantly sat on the edge of my seat as every mission escalated from the last. It's hard to put in examples without spoiling anything, but all I can do is quote the infamous IGNOverall a pretty good game, despite what I thought it would be. I constantly sat on the edge of my seat as every mission escalated from the last. It's hard to put in examples without spoiling anything, but all I can do is quote the infamous IGN line: It makes you feel like those superheroes.

    Kicking enemy ass either with Cap's shield, Thor's Hammer, Iron Man's thrusters and so on is such a rewarding feeling and I can't get enough of it. I completed the campaign yesterday and I can see myself playing this for a LONG time to come.

    PROS:
    - The story is pretty good and I felt like I was watching an Avengers movie, but also acting in the fight scenes
    - The combat is fluid and you can set up your own combos pretty easily
    - The controls are easy to understand and responsive to execute
    - There are a lot of skins for you to customize and if you don't like the charatcers' appearence, most skins cover them
    - It grants you a good sense of progress
    - The campaign gives a lot of **** with everything exploding and on fire, so you feel like you have an important role in this
    - The characters are pin-point accurate and I love doing missions while listening to either an awkward Bruce Banner, a sarcastic Black Widow, a narcissist Thor or a witty Tony. Tony by far has the best dialogue in the entire game and I loved it.

    CONS:
    - Can be a bit repetitive
    - Not many maps outside campaign
    - After the campaign, it goes kinda downhill, where nothing is as exciting as the campaign missions, but I haven't done many warzones or raids yet, so I hope they bring it back up a notch
    - Kamala is written in a mediocre way at best, which wouldn't bother me if she wasn't the protagonist and the whole story revolves around her
    - There were a few bugs, from dead enemy models stuck in the air, Thor glitching when he flies and Cap when he throws the shield mid-air, he starts gliding until he hits the ground for some reason
    - Not sure if a looter shooter, or a looter "brawler" if you will, was the best choice for an Avengers game
    - The different items you loot don't show up on your character, which I guess is for the skins to make sense. Wouldn't make much sense to have gauntlets and belts be individual from the skins, but still a bit weird approach

    All-in-all, it's a very good game in my opinion. It gives me a good sense of "Holy ♥♥♥♥, did you see that?? I was amazing!" feeling and that has been something I have longed for in a game for years. I have played this since the 1st of September due to my deluxe edition and I will keep on doing so, seeing this is a game I can put up with my favorites. It might not be GOTY-material, but it's still up there to be nominated. This is easily a 7/10 at least. A pretty good game that held my attention for 21+ hours    … Expand

    This game is fun as heck and the campaign is just amazing. The amount of Skins,Gear,Mission zones are just a fun way to go. The people that were calling it trash must have to be eating there words. No the game is not bad and micro transactions are OPTIONAL.

    This game is a perfect 10. The level of detail with how much is happening on screen at the same time is a technical feat. The campaign is the best story experienced I've ever played through ever. Most people complain about story when it comes to games, but I doubt any one can genuinely complain about this story.     Great game with some very solid gameplay and story beats. The main campaign is extremely fun with some awesome character moments. Each hero is very unique however not all are made equal. I personally found Black Widow and Thor to be the most fun and interesting while Ms. Marvel and Iron Man left something to be desired.     First of all, graphic is awesome. I have playid it for a long time and would say, that this is the best game based on super heroes. Mechanics standart. Heroes standart. Black Widow game play is realy cool. That game deserves 8/10

    Solid game, looking forward to seeing what comes next. There's some minor bugs and I'm hoping for more diverse enemies. 8/10.. 10/10 to counteract review bombers. Each hero feels engaging and different enough that the gameplay doesn't get stale unless you're only playing one hero.

    Its a great game, really nice graphics (depends on what console or just pc) its fun , the campaign is interesting and it shows you how the avengers got shattered after A Day i think that if your a marvel fan and want a really nice action adventure game play this

Gostei do jogo, a campanha teve suas reviravoltas como são em alguns quadrinhos, no jogo cita algumas referências a outros heróis e tem colecionáveis que remete à hqs icônicas dos vingadores, um ponto negativo que achei da história e que em certos momentos que a história está rodando em tempo real acontece casos de cortes fazendo a cena perder um pouco do sentindo ou a emoção da narrativa, e muito bom jogar com os heróis que você gosta e não só isso, mesmo que você use um dos vingadores o jogo faz ter um certo desafio para seus heróis não serem tão fortes assim senão o jogo perder a graça de você não ter pelo menos um pouco de desafio, o jogo também conta com belos gráficos só que em alguns momentos os personagens ou alguma parte do cenário fica um pouco borrado, mas acredito que seja para ficar mais liso o jogo, a jogabilidade e bem dinâmica e você sente o peso de cada herói, agora vamos para alguns pontos negativos achei esse jogo muito focado no multiplayer talvez se fosse um pouco mais na campanha fosse um pouco melhor, a câmera muita das vezes atrapalha e você acaba morrendo nisso ou levando um combo, e o sistema de RPG que emplementaram achei bom porque cada item ali tem algum bônus, mas isso acaba se tornando muito repeti-vo quando você quer pegar um lendário ou épico específico.… Expand

    I feel like some people got this game without reading what it "said on the box". The developers definitely mentioned that it would be somewhat like Destiny. People expecting Batman Arkham or Spider-Man from Insomniac - you should not play this.     Greatest game I’ve ever played combat is great, the skill tree is immersive, great story, great characters, great villains, incredible graphics, and so many different enemy types. The one thing they need to fix is some bugs but other than that this game is great and you shouldn’t miss out on it.

    Comic fan game score. MCU can suck it. Thor is not an idiot, Cap is not a metrosexual. Marvel as it should be! Ms. Marvel is a great introduction hero for new to the lore.

I’m impressed with how much Kate Bishop adds to the skill sets already present in the game, and I cannot wait for Hawkeye, Black Panther and Spider-Man being added to the game’s roster. The updates and patches really improved the game’s stability, and a lot of QoL improvements were made since its release. It’s a game with a heart and a great foundation for more Avengers stories in the future. Don’t get me wrong, Miles Morales is the better game and easily my favorite PS5 game so far, but Avengers is the game I’ll likely keep coming back to, it’s my most played game of the year and was done dirty by press reviews and stupid console and fandom wars.… Expand

    I played the Beta and was scared about what would be the game in the end. Now I am pleased to discover that it is so cool! I really don't understand the bad rankings. It is a service game. It will be better and better. We just have to be patient! I spend great times playing it and that is what motivates my good note.     Square Enix's take on Avengers is a fun, silly beat 'em up with an interesting story. While the story's length is shorter than most (around 10 - 15 hours), it is a story that is going to evolve overtime with monthly updates starting with Kate Bishop / Hawkeye in October and November.

    I'm super interested to see how this will all play out in the long run.

    The Game is really fun and looks Good. The story is really well done and my only real issue with the game is the story feels a little too short. I have seen negative reviews saying the game is buggy, it is a shame it isn't perfect from release but it will be fixed that doesn't feel like a good reason to rate a good game badly

    MULTIJUGADOR: Bueno aquí vienen los peros del juego, el multijugador a pesar de ser divertido al jugar con amigos y ganar recompensas, es muy repetitivo, las misiones siempre son lo mismo por lo que con el tiempo te aburrirás, ademas, que carece de propósito, te sientes vació al terminar una misión, eso a pesar de ganar trajes muy bonitos. Se supone que a futuro habrán eventos.

    JUGABILIDAD: Algunos diran que es un machaca-botones, pero no, porque junto con los esquivos y las diferentes formas de contraatacar con cada personaje, existe el arbol de habilidades, que no solo mejor el daño o cosas asi, sino, que agrega una gran variedad de combos. Sin embargo no es perfecto pues, no es un combate fluido, puedes estar peleando y al esquivar o hacer un combo que no combine con otro y te quedas ahi parado frenando la fluidez del combate, algo que se pudo haber hecho al estilo de los ARKHAM.

    BUGS: Demasiados bugs y errores con las texturas, en pocas ocaciones tendras que volver al punto de control para desbuguearte.

    TRAJES Y DISEÑOS: Los diseños y trajes originales de la historia estan muy bien logrados, mejorandolos de las primeras version, pero los trajes que se ganan en misiones o en la tienda son muy simples en su mayoria, pues no varian mas que en el color en la mayoria y para que hablariamos de los precios excesivos

    GRAFICOS: Graficos mas que aceptables, incluso con algunas pocas mejoras desde la demo del 2019, sin embargo, se pueden ver una gran variedad de errores de carga de texturas.

    CONCLUSIÓN: Marvel Avengers es un buen juego con una campaña y gráficos casi perfectos pero que su multijugador carecería de variedad, teniendo un sistema de combate simple pero efectivo aunque no muy fluido. Este es un gran juego pero no es perfecto, le falta mucho para eso.    … Expand

    Probé la beta de este juego y me encantó, quizás tiene cosas repetitivas o la historia es corta pero si se juega en coop con amigos se hace mas divertido además de las próximas actualizaciones, estoy consiente sobre los bugs pero todos sabemos que a medida del tiempo se arreglan esperemos

    The story was fresh and nothing you knew from the cinema. Admittedly the endgame is a bit weak on the chest, but if the constant content updates are well implemented, and not only throw a new hero into the round, the endgame will surely be better.
    I'm looking forward to seeing more heroes and will put more and more hours into the game. The only thing I    Marvel's Avengers is a good game.

    Um jogo simplesmente magnífico como a Marvel nos habituou nos filmes o problema é os bugs quando trocamos os personagens por alguns segundo mas isso não faz mal porque a campanha é muito boa principalmente para jogar com amigos e fazer lives para os criadores de conteúdo

    I almost didnt get it because of the negative comments but someone went ahead and bought it for me and thank God they did . I almost missed out. It's a fantastic game I have it on ps4 so I didnt experience the massive bugs folk speak of I reckon the PC folk suffer more of the bugs.     Fantastic combat! Each hero plays uniquely different and when they're fully upgraded feel truly heroic. Good story with all-star voice acting. The story mode is a bit short but sets up the multiplayer loot grind which is the real focus. Endgame grind/loot is a bit lackluster at launch and the game is severely lacking content but with time that shouldn't be an issue.

    Not as great as Marvel's Spider-Man, but it's a decent game, combat is really enjoyable, character models are better than i expected, campaign is fun but a little meh, hopefully the new DLC improves that, after testing Kate Bishop i can't wait for the upcoming characters.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It's a game that do have its fault due to its live service model. But it is unique, giving us a great origin story for Kamala Khan AKA Ms. Marvel and having some of the voice actors from the animated show Avengers (which was in the same universe as the Drake Bell's Ultimate Spider-Man and later Marvel's Spider-Man 2017. Kate Bishop's arrival into the fray has only made the game even better since we now have a archer on the roster after the previous one was missing on A-Day (but later found and is now in a coma and most likely the next DLC charcter) and the game can only get better. Luckily the combat is fresh and awesome and every hero feels unique and has unique abilities. Hulk is tank and has a rage meter where he is invulnerable for a period of time, Captain America has his shield and there is may ways to kill enemies with it and his special move where he would throw his shield when your fighting an enemy. Black Widow can turn invisible has different modes for her guns and can extend her escrima sticks into a Tim Drake-like Bo Staff. Kamala can enlarge and heal people. Iron Man can do a hyper beam, shield himself and get the famous hulkbuster suit. Thor is by far the most exciting with his hammer and lightning and depending what you use for the Bifrost special ability, you can either have the fire realm fire surrounding the Bifrost landing site or Jotunheim's frost or even Alfheim Light where your charcter and teammates can heal without orbs. Kate has teleportation and uses both her sword and bow and arrows. To say the least the charcters are unique as hell and if you aren't a fan of the story because of (iT's ToO SjW-ish despite comics like Marvel and DC having political left leaning topics since the 60's with the X-Men and Gaurdians of The Galaxy and Luke Cage and Black Panther etc) political reasons than the multiplayer elements which you can play offline will appeal to you since you will be treated with fighting enemies in various different missions and leveling up since it's basically a MMO inspired RPG.… Expand

    Whoa. This is one of Square Enix's best games, in fact, it's probably their BEST GAME of all time, and of 2020. I LOVE playing through the gameplay and looking at the beautiful character designs. Truly one of the best Avengers products ever, Laura Bailey did an AMAZING job developing this game and writing the story and planning out the gameplay. Buy this, not that Lego Marvel trash! I love the voice actors as well because they all mostly fit there characters in particular Troy Baker as Bruce Banner, it’s cool to see him in a role like this being more quiet then anyone he would normally play. Sandra Saad as Kamala Khan was one of the best part of this movie because she is a kid trying to deal with these powers and it’s amazing. But Nolan North is the perfect person to play Iron Man I mean he’s Nathan Drake, Deadpool, and so many other funny characters.     I understand the hate and I hated this game for 600 hours. Its really well-made for what it is. The bugs haven’t been game-breaking for me, but rather funny. It’s so much fun with friends and I want them to make another game like this but better. Stop the hate on this game. Thanks.

    Expectations exceeded. Great story, 10-ish hour campaign, multiplayer is a blast. There's polish that needs to be addressed but the dev team is competent and communicative. Looking forward to checking in on this one every month to see the further developments with the story and trying new heroes.

Ms.Marvel is like Mr.Fantastic where she can stretch and swing and being the main character in the story mode. Iron man is that one character where you should probably stay in the air lots of the time because the other characters asides from thor can't really get that much hits off of the flying characters. Thor is kinda like iron man but overpowered he's really strong with his lighting powers. Mjolnir hits hard and pins enemies down. But after the story, there are many missions to do in the online mode, and thats really fun grinding each character so you get them to the max is fun. But does get super repetitive like some missions get repeated and they just put (revisited) besides its name so you might think it's new but it really is not. And there are many glitches. The marketplace is like the item shop of this game with overpriced cosmetics that are not even that good at all but asides from the bad stuff that they should fix. the game is really fun and interesting and I would recommend to anyone looking to play a new game.… Expand

Hear me out, yes you do your basic light to heavy finishers, but once you start unlocking more perks combat goes to a new level. You’ll start mixing in stuns and long range and it just starts to flow like Spider-Man PS4. I like the loot. Simply because you can really make some awesome builds. Really make them your own.     It goes deep into the micro transactions. There are a lot and they are greedy.
    The loot. Yes I’m contradicting myself. I hate that the loot is only for stats. The best thing about any RPG is getting new gear and seeing how it looks and that’s not here. This is because they want to sell you skins and everything they can. Lastly it’s like Destiny. It’s a loot grind. The missions you’ll be playing over and over again. In conclusion, I do enjoy this game. The combat is a lot fun. The build possibilities are great. But I hate the micro transactions. I also hate that you can only level up the battle pass by completing quest. So you’re forced to play ass all the hero’s daily in order level up that battle pass. It really sucks.

Boss fights in the Villain Sector are also a bit weird. As of right now there are only two bosses (in multiplayer) and these boss fights are just 15 minute punching until they fall. I'm not talking about the campaign, boss fights in the campaign are a lot better. There are also some glitches that need fixing, I for example encountered two instances of being punched out of the world. But if they keep their promise and keep updatjng and stuffing the game with new heroes and new content, this game has the potential to be an Avengers game the franchise so badly deserves.… Expand

    I liked almost everything, what i didn’t like was: if you play with a character more then you play with others the only one who will get better stuff is the one you play with, i’ve seen lots of bugs (like hats walking on the ground alone) and graphics are good but sometime they get a bit strange (like characters talking without moving their mouths).

    Overview: Image Destiny 2 except instead of shooting things you are now punching things. With an engaging however, short story and lots to do after the game and free dlc updates there is enough to keep people coming back. The game is not without faults though. The repetitive missions and god tier grind fest this game might keep people away more then bring them in. Hopefully as dlc is added, once per month, there will be new enemy types and unique locations to visit. I feel that is the plan but they didn't add enough in the beginning.

    Good: The combat is extremely fun. I actually feel I am these great marvel characters. Each character feels unique and different from each other. Marvel's Avengers is a game where it gets more difficult the higher "power" you are. It requires you master a characters abilities and combos to get rid of enemies as quick as possible. Story is really engaging and fun but the whole campaign last around 9 to 12 hours.

    Bad: It is ungodly repetitive there are around 10 different types of locations and only around 4 different AIM locations. Usually you are dropped in an open area with some discoverable to find then go into an AIM facility and are then seeing the same walls and same hallways over and over again. There are only 2 end game boss fights that you take one that follow the same style except you fight them on a helicopter pad or in an open room. Bugs are an issue although there are not many game breaking bugs and they are aggressively patching them. Loot is invisible they should have found a way to not have it invisible but some characters have odd loot you equip like the hulk who equips body parts?

    Microtransactions: I felt it was important to point this out as its own section. Yes there are microtransactions in the game. They are for emotes or skins. There is a battle pass for each character in the game however the first 6 are free. You also get plenty of currency by completing characters daily and weekly missions. I think there is a little but over 7,000 credits {Paid currency} to get from the 6 characters. All DLC will be free. I am personally not upset with microtransactions as long as all dlc is free. I understand how some are upset but in order to continue this game past the 16-22 additions of content they need to make money off of it. Also you can also get skins though randomly found patterns in game tho these are rare to find and I have only found around 10 in 40+ hours of play.    … Expand

The story is generic, it could be used in any kind of superhero story, but that doesn’t make the game bad, as someone who likes Marvel, I end up being happy to be playing with some heroes I like (I’m still waiting for the addition of content). The combat is the best part, it is not very challenging in story mode, but online it is more challenging and interesting,The game is just okay.     Unpopular opinion this game is no where near as bad as people made it out to be, now it is not even close to being perfect but it is a fun as hell game that has a lot of potential and I think if it is given time It could have a redemption like destiny 1

    So many people hating on this game without giving it a chance. I hesitated buying it because of that but after deciding to try it for myself i actually really enjoyed it for the story, cinematics and gameplay. I can see how with some refining of the multi-player and adding more content it could have a lot of depth too. But for the story mode alone, i found it totally worth the time and money.

    Gostei muito da história de da introdução das personagens. A possibilidade de jogar com diferentes personagens e cada uma ter as suas habilidades também foi algo de muito positivo.     It's really a good game, good gameplay, good soundtrack, VERY interesting story... It's good overall, but it could also be better, it took too long to fix bugs and now it's almost dead, the few playable content that they release it looks like it will be every 6 months which will probably end up killing the game in the next year. I'm pretty sure a good marketing campaign for the next 2/3 heroes could give it a good opportunity, especially if the story is as good as the both Hawkeye DLCs and those heroes bring new gameplay to the game (like Captain Marvel) or have a lot of fans (Winter soldier), but as i said, it looks like the development team just don't want this to work anymore.
    Anyways, it's a good Avengers game that can work without more DLCs, 11 playable characters, nice story and really fun ❤️.    … Expand

    It could’ve been a great single player title. The publisher chose to go down the game as a service path though, and those who prefer to play solo need to tackle run-of-the-mill co-op missions. The multiplayer on the other hand is messy, chaotic and in the long run boring. When the developers manage to fix the most pressing bugs and find a way to bring more variety to co-op, this might become a solid game. Right now, I can only recommend it to the biggest fans of the Avengers. [11/2020, p.26]

    This is the perfect example of "Games as a Service" done right. Marvel's Avengers offers up a superb campaign story to play through that is promised to be expanded on in the future. The gameplay may be repetitive, but it includes just enough to keep players interested and invested in the endgame content that is available now to keep this game going until the next step in its roadmap. The possibilities and potential in the future here are hugely exciting.

    There have been plenty of moments during my time with Marvel's Avengers where I’ve genuinely had a great time. But this game keeps finding ways to drag itself down- at times it almost feels like it goes out of its way to do so. There’s just so much here that I can’t overlook, no matter how hard I may try. An unnecessary and broken loot system, a litany of horrible technical issues, uninspired and one-note mission design, and a story that fails just as much as it succeeds- it doesn’t matter how mindlessly fun the combat is, it isn't enough to overcome such a heavy list of problems.
