    I had my doupts regarding this game after I tried the beta, but damn was I wrong. The storry is a strong 8/10 in my opinion and the multiplayer is like diablo only with awesome combat. Been playing non-stop since release and still looking forward to get better gear and more skills

    Do not listen to these negative reviews, they are just here to bomb the game. Marvel avengers is an amazing looking game, with a nice combat system and great story telling. I can see this game lasting for a long time depending on how much content they deliver for us. If you liked ultimate alliance, you will surely like this.

    Pretty fun game, awesome storyline and gameplay, the heroes all feel unique with their own sets of skills and mechanics. I was hesitant but this game has surely won me over. It was well worth the wait. Some people may not like the GaaS mechanic but this game was never promoted as a single player campaign type game and shouidn't be shoved to the side because it's not!

    The micro transactions are completely optional. All currency can be earned in game. Each character you have to play different to match their style.     The campaign was good, not a masterpiece but it was better than I expected, also the combat felt good but sometimes it was clunky, but for me, the game was very fun even if I played solo and it had a good amount of content apart from the campaign that kept me playing for hours, maybe with the future content I will raise my score, but for now it still a good game.

    The game excels in what was proposed initially to be, a great brawler hero game, and it really is, the heroes are very good to play, they have unique gameplays. The History so far is also great, with great twists, and the modes are a blast.

    Im having so much fun with this game, and I really Recommend it.

    The lore of the game is just incredible compared to the beta simply the final version is fantastic in both technical details and fun Kamala really locks in a positive energy for the team =)

    Great, fun and Amazing. This game reminded me of what it felt to be an avengers fan. Kamala is amazing and her interactions with the rest of the cast are great. The story mixed with the co op has a lot to do and a lot of fun to be had. The combat is very in depth once you start leveling up.

    Campaign is a high point. Additional missions are repetitive and there are bugs a plenty. Technically what has been delivered is quite impressive. It could have been a lot worse yet people love negativity these days. DLC characters, more story, gameplay improvements and bug fixes to come so plenty to look forward to. 10/10 is just to off-set the drivel.

    Fun, realy fun, for someone that played marvel Nemesis rise of imperfects, the iron man games, captain america movie game, without a doubt best cap, iron man, thor game, hulk no, ultimate destruction was great, sad to see lot of people passing the game because of review bombing and opinion, great campaign, some technical problems with voice but nothing game breaking,

    Honestly, it was pretty much what I was expecting except for the story which was way better than I expected. The game still have some issues with Frame Rate but comparing it to how it was on the beta it is a big improvement. Can’t wait to see where they will go with this game.

    The Story is a bit on the dark side, the narration and motivations are well written. The Character Dialogue has it's moments especially when you bring certain heroes on a mission together. The voice acting is done well, not coming off overly cheesy.

    The True Fun lies in the difficulty, this game can be as easy or hard as you want but playing on Hard or Brutal with Challenge IV Modifiers makes for some intense, action-packed missions. The game rewards you based on how well you complete these missions, so the tougher and better you play the better your gear & rewards.

    Problems people may have with the game is that each hero has to be leveled & geared individually. This may make play redundant especially when you've already completed missions on your Main Hero. A Remedy is that there are Factions which reward you with gear & items as you earn Rep by doing daily and weekly missions. Building rep will make the gearing of alternate Hereos less tedious.

    To me, this game feels Diabloesque with you constantly getting loot drops & building sets to suit your playstyle. With more heroes being added along with DLC, the varied playstyles and your personal interests in Hero building will keep the game interesting whether single or Co-op for the foreseeable future.    … Expand

    The game is good, its give you a chance how to feel like an Avenger. The game have depth about character development, and it is have a potential future. I give 8/10 to it, but I score a 10 because of the xbox and other retards who underrate the game.

    I thought they did an incredible job capturing the story, it’s very cinematic but as a fan of the films it was like a film. In terms of the loot system, it’s not brilliant but I do really like the challenge cards which since I first played keep me coming back to unlock more for my favourite characters.     This is THE Avengers game is was waiting for, for years. I am so intrigued. There are flaws.... and there are problems at the moment, yes, but nothing game breaking, at least for me.

    The Story is nice, people complaining to not know Kamala and making her non-existent new character should really get more into comics ^^

    Looking forward to the Quantum Realm DLC this autumn :)

And on top of that all? It's fun! Crank the difficulty up and hop in with friends for some tense and tactical coop gameplay that will leave you wanting more.

    I see people complaining about the campaign...The campaign is a great experience, with set pieces and memorable moments to put a smile on your face. I see others complain about longevity and grind... I cant remember the last time I even considered opening up Spider-Man again once the story was done. No problem like that here.

    Once the niggling frame rate issues and (uncommon) gameplay bugs are fixed, we have a stellar super hero action extravaganza here, with something for everyone!    … Expand

Graphics are beautiful and environments are enjoyable the first time around. They did phenomenally well for this story especially seeing as how it could be screwed up so easy the characters and voice actors did great and similar to the movies. There's no need for major grind if all you want to do is the main story campaign which I recommend every marvel fan do the game play can be repetitive at times but it could've been way worse. I appreciate the occasional twist as well. I love marvel so this may not be for everyone at full retail price but when a sale hits or just borrow from a friend to have a great time with friends or solo with the avengers we've grown to love just for the main campaign and i dont believe you'll be dissatisfied… Expand

    Very fun! People will inevitably compare to PS4 Spidey, but that doesn't feel like a reasonable comparison since the games are so different. The grinding may be a bit of a drag at times but the varied gameplay mechanics and fun story make up for the smash-and-loot parts.

I’ll give it a 9.5/10 only because I felt as if the story was too short, I loved it so much that it would’ve been great if they had expanded it a bit more. The gameplay is amazing, it feels smooth and fun. The characters and their relationships are amazing, I had my doubts at first but they did an amazing job with them. If you're a fan of Marvel and the Avengers, chances are that you will enjoy this game.

    The premise is a mixture between Destiny and beat-em-up games like Ultimate Alliance. You start out as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel. A series of events have left the Avengers broken and disbanded. Your goal is simple - get the band back together and save the world. The reviews saying you are forced to play as Ms. Marvel the whole game are flat out wrong. You start with Ms. Marvel and can quickly use other characters as you progress through the story and unlock them. You can use other characters and level them up for pretty much most missions unless it's a specific character mission, but there aren't many of those.

    I've played a lot since it came out and still I'm only 58% complete with the story. Afterwards, you can play through various multiplayer "strike missions" similar to Destiny and upgrade your gear more and more in order to tackle harder content. Since the game is a live-service, more and more content will be released in the future. There are some bugs and gameplay hiccups that i assume will be patched out soon but i haven't encountered anything that would be gamebreaking thus far.

    All things considered, this is a good game. Graphics are good, the combat is fun, plenty of launch content and more will be released, new heroes are coming soon, and you can kick back with some friends to beat up bad guys as an Avenger. If you enjoy the gear grind of Destiny, enjoy getting loot, or just want some Marvel hero action you can jump in and out of then you should give this a shot.    … Expand

Every character feels unique, they’re all fun to use, it’s got a good story, and when all is said and done there’s endless multiplayer options available. There’s something for everyone here. I’ve had zero issues on my PS4 (vanilla) and can’t wait to continue on the PS5I was quick to judge the game when it was announced but after a few days playing through the story campaign I’m loving it. Every character feels unique, they’re all fun to use, it’s got a good story, and when all is said and done there’s endless multiplayer options available. There’s something for everyone here.     Amazing Game. Everyone should definitely try it. Microtransactions are not necessary at all in this game. And all upcoming DLCs will be free. The campaign will have a second part and the first one was more than amazing. The graphics and the gameplay are awesome !

    This game is the game every Marvel fan wished for. And I can’t wait for future updates !

    played the crap out of the beta and enjoyed it a lot. and from what ive seen from the full game, the story and dialouge looks incredible and the gameplay looks even more polished and fun than the beta i am really exited to see where this game goes!

Parabéns a Square Enix por ter conseguido trazer um jogo que nós fãs da Marvel, fãs dos Avengers conseguirmos jogar tudo aquilo que sempre quisemos.     Has some work to put in, but has a very strong base and an amazing story along with quite a few unique heroes. Could always be better, but you would be hard pressed to find a similar game with more or better content at launch.

I thought it was going to be extremely difficult to bring so many characters into one game and be able to specialize in each of them but I think they did a great first attempt . If they reduced the price by at least 70% for cosmetics then I would consider it . Overall it was much better than I though it would be . It honestly feels amazing to be an avenger and I was seriously impressed with black widow. Did not expect to enjoy playing with her character would be so satisfying!I would give it about 7 out of 10 but because of all the negative pointless review I had to give it a 10 . I think if they proceed down this path and truly expand the universe in a meaningful way this game could definitely become a masterpiece.     The game is a pretty RPG looter game, some people are missing this detail. Microtransactions are for cosmetics only and all the upcoming content is going to be free.

    I know this review has no substance but I couldn't in good conscious allow this score to be review bombed while metacritic did nothing about the obviously blatant hate based in zero reality. No properly played game is ever so bad that it deserves a zero, every game has at least one or two minor redeeming qualities.

    I love this game. The story is great and the fighting rewarding, great skill trees and the online mode is like Destiny on steroids. I hope they fix some of the bugs (why wouldn't they) and keep the online part with fresh content as promised! Very happy with this game!

    Like most games that involve trolls from the outside that do not even own the game for some reason they will review bomb it. Having played most of the campaign I can see without a doubt that this and Insominiacs Spiderman are hands down the best Marvel games ever made.

    Ms. Marvel is one of the best things about this amazing game. I find it interesting that some think she is a new character when she's not. Great game-play and a excellent plot. At least as good as Spiderman. Keep em' coming of this quality Marvel!

    I have wanted a marvel game like this since the first time I played spider-man on PS4. So much fun and if they keep adding new storylines with new missions and characters I’ll be playing for years to come! So much fun!

    Im 15 hours in loving everything about this game truly a top tier superhero game. Some of the best gameplay I've seen in a game. Story is fantastic just overall a very fun game especially for any Marvel fan. Don't let the hate ruin this game for you its a blast

    One of the best hero game I've ever played. The level of easter eggs we can find, the attention they put into details, and the amount of skills and history to come, just make me happy about buying this game. It was totally worth it!!!

    An amazing campaign with an amazing fan service!❤️❤️ Loved the campaign story. Have not played the multiplayer yet. Hopefully they will keep on adding new heroes and content in the future

    Skill trees, great looter, fun combat, each character plays very different everything I expected from this game, wat i didnt expect was how good the campaign story wld be it definitely surprised me, I wld of gave a solid 10 if they wld of finished polishing and ironed out the bugs, but its nothing that ruins the experience

This game has an incredible single player story where you play as all 6 characters. I have seen a lot of moaning and dislike to this game due to Ms Marvel (Khamala Khan) honestly she is a great character with a compelling story, she had always been trying to fit into society even before she was inhuman! And the way she acts around the avengers is relatable because everyone would fanboy Captain America!! The endgame content at the moment is enjoyable they definitely need more game modes with different mission structures but other than that this game is incredible.… Expand

    Is the game perfect? No. In particular, the matchmaking (at this time of release at least) takes longer than you'd hope, and there's weird little graphical hiccups here and there (on my OG PS4). But all-in-all I'd easily recommend the game.

    Crystal Dynamics seems really excited to take on the challenge of keeping the game interesting, and they're always asking for player input, which is super refreshing to see.    … Expand

    I loved the games combat and story even though it was a bit short however I believe the additional free dlc will make up for it the combat is pretty good and you have 4 pages of skill trees which is neat

Game was great, just beat it, the story was absolutely engaging (I’m a big marvel fan) and side quests focusing on hulk, black widow, captain America, and etc. repetitive missions is definitely the fault of this game as multiplayer missions can be literally the same mission over and over.     I've only played the campaign so far but I am pleasantly surprised at how good it is. The story, graphics (I'm playing on PC with a 2080 ti) are great! I'm only a couple hours into it but so far, so good!

But i decided to give it a chance and purchased the digital deluxe edition. I really enjoyed the story mode and some of the character’s combat feel/style.     The gameplay may not be the best, but the story and characters are amazing. The suits look really good, the story is really compelling, the gameplay is not bad. I really recommend this game

    I don't understand why so much rage towards this game. The campaign is very nice! I like playing iron man the most. After the first mission I thought that I made a mistake buying the game but I was wrong. It's a solid 9!

    It could’ve been a great single player title. The publisher chose to go down the game as a service path though, and those who prefer to play solo need to tackle run-of-the-mill co-op missions. The multiplayer on the other hand is messy, chaotic and in the long run boring. When the developers manage to fix the most pressing bugs and find a way to bring more variety to co-op, this might become a solid game. Right now, I can only recommend it to the biggest fans of the Avengers. [11/2020, p.26]

    This is the perfect example of "Games as a Service" done right. Marvel's Avengers offers up a superb campaign story to play through that is promised to be expanded on in the future. The gameplay may be repetitive, but it includes just enough to keep players interested and invested in the endgame content that is available now to keep this game going until the next step in its roadmap. The possibilities and potential in the future here are hugely exciting.

    There have been plenty of moments during my time with Marvel's Avengers where I’ve genuinely had a great time. But this game keeps finding ways to drag itself down- at times it almost feels like it goes out of its way to do so. There’s just so much here that I can’t overlook, no matter how hard I may try. An unnecessary and broken loot system, a litany of horrible technical issues, uninspired and one-note mission design, and a story that fails just as much as it succeeds- it doesn’t matter how mindlessly fun the combat is, it isn't enough to overcome such a heavy list of problems.
