    It is an absolute embarrassment that EA is releasing the exact same game year after year. They got sued in the 2000s for making the same game 8 years in a row, Madden 05-12, and had to settle a class action lawsuit because of it, and yet here they are churning out the exact same game again. If you are dumb enough to buy this game make sure you keep your receipt, that way you can be part ofIt is an absolute embarrassment that EA is releasing the exact same game year after year.     Everything about this game is bad. The game play is choppy, announcers say random things that make no sense, franchise mode is the same as its been for 10 years. It feels like they slapped new paint on 84 pinto.

    Seriously trash. Madden has fallen off for a while. There is literally almost nothing new of note in this game that makes it worth buying over Madden 20 or hell, even Madden 19. If you really need your football fix go buy one of those at a discount.

    Please give some love to Franchise. You can have your greedy ultimate team trash still, just try to make a game worth playing for the love of god.

    This game is absolutely trash. Defense is now slowed down to balance the bs from previous years and now it’s unrealistic. The franchise is the same as the last few years. The expansion teams have been literally the same for the past 5 years. But you want a 60+ every year for the same game? Horrible, they ignore the feedback from the community but makes changes that no one asks for. 0/10

Really wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt and try playing it, but I can’t anymore. Worst Madden to date, and that’s saying something. Can’t believe I wasted money on a trash heap of a game.

    I bought the game.. day one, can’t even connect to the servers.. EA help has had me try about everything I have even reset my Xbox multiple times and the whole reason I bought the game... can’t even play it.     The gameplay has so many bugs just as it did last year. You still cannot throw a fade route, Franchise mode is LITERALLY the same EXACT thing as last year. I played the game at a friend's house and I could not get over how bad it is, its worse than last year. Don't buy the game, The NFL should drop EA sports

    Another year of copy paste Madden, I’ve been playing Madden games since 99 as a kid and I’ve never seen such a complete and total disregard for fan requests and quality control. I can’t count on both hands how many times I’ve encountered massive bugs and I only have like 10-12 hours recorded playing.     For Years EA developers have become lazy and have not put work into this game. The truth finally comes out as glitches, bugs and more have destroyed this game making it nearly unplayable. After just a few days I’ve become so frustrated that I refuse to play the game until it’s been fixed.

    Unreal this billion dollar company can't learn. NFL should revoke their license, this game is abysmal. Franchise STILL SUCKS! Ultimate Team is completely pay to win, and the new mode is meh at best. It's the same every year with no improvements. ESPN NFL 2K5 needs to be the model going forward.

Franchise, commentary, and presentation are all exactly the same. Mut and super star are still whatever and the yard is now also here mainly for micro transactions as a way for EA to scam it’s customers out of more money.Game is not improved at all and does not even fee finished.     Extremely laggy. The glitches are unreal. Franchise mode allows you to cut players who are the same person. For example I had the option to cut any number of Devin Singletarys, all of varying ability and wage. I beat the Chiefs, go back to the franchise screen and apparently it was scored as a loss. Easily one of the laziest efforts EA has provided. Really regret spending the money on it

    Worst Madden I’ve ever played. Frame rate constantly drops, story mode is lazy and boring, franchise mode sucks, X-factors make players overpowered, tackle animations are awful, and plays feel like you have no control over them sometimes.

    This is a perfect example of what a monopoly does to the quality of a service/product. Focus is on micro transactions and “improved” gameplay, which is non apparent.     Literally the same game since 2015. Gameplay is scripted and boring. Background characters like the crowd and the props in the yard have textures from 2008. The yard was fun for literally 1 game then it got old very quick. Franchise mode is super shallow and gets boring after 1 season. NFL needs to drop EA from making their games. Just a huge cashgrab.

    EA once again shows how much they give about madden and developing it just like how the lions won as many games in their 2008 0-16 season. EA is milking the **** out of madden with packs and only focuses on that aspect, it’s insanity that they are allowed to copy madden 21 change up the scoreboard and slap madden 21 on a game that’s been the same since madden 18 just different skins

    I loved playing madden 17 back in 2016, that is also the last year they really changed anything.     In two words, Madden 21 is: slow and unpolished.

    From when you first encounter the menus to the graphics in the MUT "items" to the on field graphics to the kick meter... everything just has a feeling of unfinished. EA had a low bar given how popular this game is and what we've accepted every year as an "update" to the franchise. Sadly, they didn't even try to aim for it, let alone anywhere near it. If madden is a must have for you, you'll buy it anyway, but if your one of those individuals who can live without it, this is a must pass.    … Expand

    Save your money, do not buy this trash.
    I've had every madden since 95 and I played 1 game on this and turned it off, same **** year after year, the graphics in face of the franchise look like ps2 graphics and the game play is just pure ****.
    Get rid of EA sports.

I did a quick google to see that nothing has changed about the game. So I now own madden 21 and got it for free!!! Still too expensive in my opinion. I want my money back. lol… Expand

    Games trash. Player movement feels weird, open field tackling still doesn’t work, the user pass rush system doesn’t really work and qbs can’t run like they used to.

    I haven't played a Madden since 18 and its the SAME game! I bought it because Face of the Franchise seemed like a fun game mode. Plus they have Nebraska as one of the very few schools that you can choose from. However, its just awful no other words to describe it.     This game gets sloppier and sloppier every year. Franchise mode has been watered down, it used to have so much more. Even relocating franchises, something supposed to be exciting and new, is full of the same old stadiums you can build, a limited list of team names to start. Remember Madden 11/12 when you could be creative with moving a team in franchise mode?

    This game is literally a roster update. The glitches are still here. The ignorance of big modes that make Madden a "simulation" game like Franchise Mode. The animations are bad. They don't care about any type of level of detail to the point where I think they don't even care about this game anymore and just try and make as much money off microtransactions.

All the owners, the league office, and Roger Gooddell own this embarrassment of a product that is far and away the worst sports game attached to any major league worldwide.     Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.

    For NFL diehards, there remains hundreds of gaming hours at your disposal in Madden 21. These same diehards – much like players of EA’s NHL and Sony’s The Show – will be left with the impression they’ve played this game before, however.
