Mar 3, 2020Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind is designed for true fans of the series, being the Final Mix that fans were waiting for. But its high price, even for the most loyal ones, is undoubtedly its weakest and most critical point.
-
Feb 19, 2020Overall, I wouldn't recommend getting the ReMind DLC for the story alone. It's just too short for its price. However, if the masochist nature inside you wishes for agonizingly difficult boss fights, this DLC just might be the thing for you.
-
Feb 14, 2020In terms of gameplay, the new boss fights are a huge chunk of the challenging content, and they're a ton of fun to play. If you enjoyed Kingdom Hearts III's combat enough to want to see it at its best, then Re Mind is for you. The Organization XIII fights alone are worth the price of admission in this case. If not, then $30 is difficult to justify for what amounts to a couple of add-ons to cut scenes that you've seen before and boss fights that you might not be able to beat.
-
Feb 2, 2020Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind is not surprising. No new Disney worlds or characters, just a repetition of the last world from a different perspective. When it comes to boss fights though, Re Mind really gets interesting.
-
Jan 31, 2020The main complaints about Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind are that it provides no answers to the questions the series left players with, and that it involves playing a lot of content that the player has already experienced. My positive spin is that it’s an extension of what was already a fantastic game ending, that provides multiple characters to use, and extra boss battles. My main complaint is that it came too late, or shouldn’t have been DLC at all. If one accepts Re:Mind for what it is, it should be a real treat for hardcore Kingdom Hearts fans.
-
Jan 30, 2020The Re:Mind scenario is only appealing to two types of fans: players that haven't played Kingdom Hearts III yet or those that already mastered the game and want to challenge themselves on the hardest bosses in the series.
-
Jan 30, 2020Nearly one year after the release of Kingdom Hearts III, Tetsuya Nomura and his team deliver a potpourri of various experiences, including a revisited version of the game's ending and the Limit Cut episode, in which we see again some cherished and familiar faces. In fact, the main complain we can address to the Re:Mind DLC is its expensive price.
-
Jan 27, 2020It’s quite difficult to put a definitive score on Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind. The lack of Disney content makes it pretty clear that this is aimed at the most hardcore fans, but even as one of those I found some of the decisions here are a little bit clumsy. If you're in it for the superbosses, you'll have no problems whatsoever but the awkward delivery up until that point does put a slight damper on things. At the very least, the future of Kingdom Hearts is looking even more exciting than before and maybe that’s enough. For me, it certainly is.
-
Jan 27, 2020A DLC for fans only, with some secrets revelaed and a bunch of new bosses.
-
Jan 27, 2020If you're not into super bosses, save the $30 and just watch all the cutscenes. If you miss the challenge that Sephiroth, Lingering Will, and the Enigmatic Man brought to the games, you're in for a treat.
-
Jan 24, 2020If you just enjoy the story, Re:Mind might be a bit disappointing. But if you enjoy the complexity of the combat system and extreme insanity that Kingdom Hearts Bosses can achieve, this downloadable content is like a dream come true.

-
Jan 24, 2020ReMind is a not fully successful operation - especially because of the price at which it is offered - but at the same time it's fundamental to clearing up the ideas on the complicated future of the Square Enix saga.
-
Feb 26, 2020While the DLC takes some time to find its footing, there are some interesting tidbits to be found. Unfortunately, the adventure comes to a close just as things get exciting. Fans can rejoice though thanks to the added boss fights that offer up a whole new challenge.
-
Feb 6, 2020Kingdom Hearts III ReMind is a dlc that offers the post game content (boss fights) and the difficulty challenge that was absent from the main game.
-
Jan 28, 2020Kingdom Hearts III : ReMIND delivers an enjoyable but short experience specifically designed for the hardcore fans of the game.
-
Jan 24, 2020Overall, Re Mind is disappointing. Between all the reused content and very few additions to the story, I felt like I wasted my time. Yes, a few new threads and pieces of info are there to unravel, but they are the tiniest of crumbs. The biggest revelation is in the new secret movie, which shows the series potentially moving in a strange direction that makes me more uneasy than excited. Ultimately, you really have to dig for the fun in Re Mind, because it’s buried in all this content you’ve already played.
-
Jan 29, 2020Re Mind rehashes so much Kingdom Hearts III that, when stripped away, leaves little new and worthwhile to dig into. The base game remains as fun to play as ever, but players don’t need to pay extra money to enjoy that. The new Limit Cut battles are a highlight that displays the complexity of the mechanics, but the other new additions aren’t anything special. Scala Ad Caelum and the Final Fantasy characters are deeply disappointing. The new cutscenes are nice, but they don’t answer many of the lingering questions. Kingdom Hearts III remains an excellent game, and Re Mind does allow players to jump back in for a few hours, but $29.99 is too much to ask for a DLC that barely adds anything new.
-
Jan 28, 2020If you are someone who lives and breathes the Kingdom Hearts series, Kingdom Hearts 3: ReMIND will be the perfect package for you — giving you an annual injection of the heart and spirit we love from the series. But for everyone else, I’m not sure that the confusing offerings will be worth the $30 entry fee.
-
Jan 28, 2020It’s not entirely devoid of meaningful revelations, but the questions left unanswered before Re Mind are still far more interesting than any of the new ones it raises.
-
Jan 28, 2020Quotation forthcoming.
-
Jan 28, 2020Kingdom Hearts III Re:MIND is a director’s cut replay of the main game’s finale followed by a series of absurdly difficult and often seemingly unfair boss fights, and fails to justify its hefty $30 price point.
-
Jan 27, 2020We expected much more from the first downloadable content of Kingdom Hearts 3.
-
Jan 24, 2020There are video games designed for the fans, and then there's Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind. The expansion is sure to satisfy die-hard fans as it explores what happens after the events of the game's ending in the most convoluted way possible, leaving its casual audience behind in the process. That appears to be intentional, making way for fanatics to enjoy tough, climactic boss battles they've been waiting years for. It's ridiculously difficult to fully understand, charming in all the right ways, and enjoyable to play in the moment -- there probably never will be anything like Kingdom Hearts.
-
Jan 27, 2020The first and last dlc for Kingdom Hearts 3 is just repetition with a lack of answers. The boss fights are challenging and worthwhile, but this package does not offer enough content for its expensive price.
-
Playstation Official Magazine UKMar 12, 2020Re:Mind could have been an additional world, or a new chapter to shorten the wait until the next game. Instead it’s more of the same, often literally so. A missed opportunity. [Issue#173, p.96]

Jan 27, 2020When it comes down to it, I didn’t dislike Re;Mind. I think it was actually a well put together DLC that fixes some glaring problems with KHIII. I just sort of wish that those problems weren’t there to fix in the first place.
-
Jan 27, 2020Even the true fans will retreat to YouTube to watch the cutscenes, because there's nothing to entice players here. Re Mind is a dud and a total disappointment for any KH fan.
