    All hail King Mickey!

This DLC gave some much needed spotlight to many characters that didn’t get a chance to shine in the original KH3, and the gameplay enhancements + new boss fights are some of the best in the entire series, right up there with KH2:FM! Also, the photo mode is much more engaging and robust than I thought it would be, and it’s a lot of fun just to walk around in places like Radiant Garden and Destiny Islands again!

The only good Parts is the final battle with all characters and the super Bosses with Organisation 13. But until that point I already lost any interest in completing the DLC, after finding out that the final fantasy characters where just there for the Trailer. They are not relevant AT ALL. This game spits on everything that made it so beloved in the first place. I lost any interest in playing any KH game ever again.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is not a dlc. It's just the directors cut version of the last 4th of the original game. Definitely has no right asking for 30$. This did not fix any of the problems with the gameplay or clear up the story. It also did not even add to the story. Essentially you play as Sora on his journey to save his bae. But you're basically just playing through things you've already played through with a couple new scenes and some new lore. None of the fights are particularly entertaining or challenging. All the Fighting is separated by 30 minute cutscenes. Square really **** this one up. Expand

Yeah, just like Twilight Town: 2 areas, ridiculous and outrageous. Secret Episode is not an Episode like BbSFM's Secret Episode, but just a boss fight: thank you for scamming us. Don't buy this and save your money by watching what's "new" on YouTube. Do yourself a favour and love yourself. An incomplete add-on to an already incomplete game: marvellous! Expand

A complete ripoff at $30. The DLC adds new story content and super boss battles. The remaining hour and a half of actual new content was decent enough, but not terribly interesting. You get one small world to explore with no new enemies except the final boss.

The only real redeeming quality of this DLC is the new super boss battles, which are only going to be fun if you're into the challenge. Even if you like super bosses, it's hard to justify the $30 price tag to fight them. If this DLC was priced at $10 I'd feel a little bummed out about it for the severe lack of story content, but at $30 I feel completely roped off.

The story itself feels quite short and repetitive if you've played the original ending recently, as most of the scenes were already in the original game and are only extended. There are some new gameplay moments, some better than others, and some of them are quite good, even spectacular or memorable. But, as a whole, this DLC is not the big deal.

This is not a bad DLC, but it is really overpriced. You can complete the history of this DLC in 5 hours, but take into account that you already played 4 of them in the original game.. A fair price, for me, would be approximately € 7.99. Maybe I would even pay € 10 or € 15 if I really wanted to keep playing KH3. But not 30.

Simple fact is this, if you were to go back in time and make Kingdom Hearts without Disney properties and i was just a real time combat JRPG, it would have never had a third game. The storytelling is such absolute garbage. I am an Anime fan and often am forced to ignore garbage plots and dialog for the sake of getting through a series. However, KHIII -Remind is downright painfully stupid. Like, downright embarrassing to think about having someone walk into the room during it's many exposition dumps. I guess it's o.k. So I've finished the entirety of the DLC now, the data fights are really good and are closer to what I would have liked from the rest of the DLC, so I'm bumping my score from a 4 to a 5. It's not enough for me to justify the price tag - half a new retail game - for ~10 hours of content, a lot of which is rehashed. What interesting developments are added at the end of the DLC are dwarfed by the myriad problems of ReMIND. This should be $15-20 for all that you're getting, and all of my issues from the original review still stand.

    ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Simultaneously fills in the gap left at the very end of the game, explains some of the events, and acts as a slightly alternate ending? It feels almost entirely unneeded, as the events towards the end of the game felt like they stood on their own.

It's disappointing just how much of this is recycled content. There are a small handful of new segments and they were fun on their own, but for the most part you're just playing the end of the game all over again and the experience wore me down.

The new characters actually feel very good and were a lot of fun, it just felt weird rubber banding back and forth between my ridiculously overpowered Sora who melts bosses in mere seconds and the alternate characters having some difficulty with the fights.

As of writing this I have yet to beat the secret chapter (Featuring fights 100x harder than anything in ReMIND), but this feels hardly substantial as a $30 DLC. It only lasts 4 hours, it's almost all stuff you've done before, and doesn't add much to the story. If you're coming for the story, just watch it on YouTube, but if you want the secret chapter I might wait for a price drop.

Will edit this after beating the final chapter, hope that gives me a little more bang for my buck.

Whelp, my patience couldn't hold out for a single day and I bought it right as it came out. I kept getting confused because I was playing the end of the game again for a couple of hours, though it looked a little different (due to the free, base game patch). Then I beat the game again, and load into a room with a few of the Final Fantasy characters, who give me some lame excuse to go into the computer and fight stronger versions of bosses I've fought before.

I LITERALLY only made an account on metacritic to come and say how this is the most expensive, most useless DLC I've ever purchased. Seriously, unless you just want a challenge, just watch the cutscene clips (super short) for the new stuff on YT. And even if you want a good fight, I wouldn't spend more than $5-$10 on this. I have never been so disappointed with cost-to-content in a video game!

Not only is the DLC mostly just the final hours with some cutscenes sprinkled in, you don't get to choose freely whom you play as. Sometimes you will have a choice between Sora and some other character... but only for their 'canon' fight. Some characters you can't really play at all unless you consider being stuck to one spot and pressing X and occasionally blocking as that.

There is so little gameplay outside boss battles that you can get it done in 10 minutes without rushing. The only "new" world is Scala ad Caelum, but it too is restricted to two tiny districts of one island. There is hardly anything new in this DLC unless you love battling tougher versions of Real Organization XIII members. Radiant Garden is present only as a tiny room where the Restoration Committee are.

I feel bad having paid for this.

Even if this was good, it's nowhere near the amount of content that one would imagine getting for 30 bucks. It fails on that alone, but also falls prey to the KH series worst pitfalls of story. Or lack thereof. Seriously how overly complex and inexplainable can someone make an E10+ game? This DLC confused me even more and made me care so very little about what’s happening to the characters now. This constant having to go off to save someone is getting tiresome. Yes Sora saved everyone and now everyone is off to save Sora. I’m assuming that’s the theme of the next game (seriously it’s taken 4 games to tell the main story?). But I digress and am moving on to my review of this pitfall of a DLC. Before starting this DLC, grab your notes and data charts from every single game before this. From the initial 40 minute cutscene at the very beginning that this is aimed towards die hard fans who have spent time analyzing the complex web of stories and breadcrumbs, woven and dropped into the overarching dark seeker saga theme. I even got that glazed expression as the scene dragged on. You start at the end of the game, having to go through the EXACT same gameplay with Organization XIII members. The plus? You are able to choose who to fight them as. The negative? Choosing anyone but Sora leaves you with a half powered sidekick who you barely get any time to learn their fighting styles. By the time you do get to feel the tendril of enjoyment utilizing a new character, the battle is over and you’re moving onto the next area. Rinse and repeat. Rinse and repeat. What would have been interesting is if the player was able to follow their chosen characters path all up until everyone came together. (My biggest gripe in KH3 is the ZERO enemies spawning outside of the boss rushes. This is the final world. In every game leading up to the final boss fights we had enemies spawning that made returning and running around the world enjoyable). Exploring the beautiful Scala ad Caelum was pointless beyond finding those pieces of Kairi. You could actually fight enemies here to my surprise and momentary glee. But so what?

Moving on. We get the one chance to play as Kairi and run into the same problem we had before. Could be fun but was kinda basic and short. Although I will say that it was nice seeing her explore different things with Sora. Her character has been so flat before and this is somewhat giving her a chance. Emphasis on somewhat. The only line I remember her saying is ‘this is so pretty!’ Even with this DLC she’s unfortunately a forgettable character. The guardians of light team up was one of the best additions to this content. Their partnerships were well executed and you can see their connections with one another. I enjoyed this part the most out of everything honestly. This was very well done and brought that thrill I was yearning for. For all of your work however you have to watch the same ending all over again... BUT WAIT. There’s more!

Limitcut is unlocked. Another maddening boss rush of over powered juggernauts that will truly test the battle hardened players. Most casual gamers will not complete this and traverse to YouTube. That said, My square button took a beating. Be prepared to see the game over screen many times. The outcome of overcoming this gauntlet and defeating (or being killed by) the hardest boss in this series is great. It alludes to a new chapter that will hopefully conclude this game that needed to end back at KH2.

But for all of that, this $30 DLC is severely cosmetic in its contents. It wows the player with dazzling visuals, heart pumping music and new photo ability, but underneath it all is a righteous mess of a convoluted story. TLDR
If you’re an avid Kingdom Hearts fanatic and must have every installment then this is definitely geared towards you. Others, not so much. It’s up to you if you see spending your $30 on a copy cut paste endgame with some added extras that provide little excitement. I’ve been a fan for a long time but this... It feels like Square Enix just sold me the rehashed ending at an overly inflated price. There’s no real value and overall this is why I rated it so low.

My opinion is based on what it offers for € 30, I don't care if the Limit fights are great or that the final part with the two fights and the scene of a certain character is the best thing they have done in KH3, all that does not cost the price that they have set, and less having paid KH3.

KH3 Re: Mind expands the story of the final stretch of KH3 by giving some "answers" in a way that Nomura loves, halfway. Do not expect great revelations in this part, that, as always, will expand it in other games and, surely, not even there will give a clear answer (See all the **** Unchained story arc that has already been four years and has hardly resolved anything).

His fetish with which we look at the box is almost morbid, I do not know if in Limit or later they tell you what is inside, but that reminds you at the beginning of the DLC itself that exists and that what is inside is super mysterious and then not tell you anything It makes me nervous (And remember that it is an element that has been seen since KH Unchained, so he has been talking about the box for three or four years).

Limit cut, subjectively, I don't like it because of the peak of difficulty they have put in, it gives me that it is because they are the same fights that they programmed in Maestro but taking away statistics, and that shows that the issue of difficulty in KH3 has been taken by EVIL since the beginning. At the beginning it was "an easier game for everyone to play and pass on the story" (said by a member of the KH3 team) but now, suddenly, that does not matter even if you play even in passive, Limit Cut does not You pass if you do not become a pro player, and there is story about the game so they comment.

Objectively it seems to me the best that the DLC has, fighting against challenging bosses that will let you squeeze your combos and skills as you had not seen so far, but that does not automatically make it 10, Re: Mind comes in this DLC and is a " fudge "to increase the duration and to be able to put in the trailer that you play with other characters (That removing one or two fights, it is not worth it).

I recommend that if what you want is history, you watch videos on YouTube, if on the contrary you want a challenge in terms of gameplay it refers (which is a bit sad that you have to pay so that finally a boss kills you in Expert ) I would recommend that you wait to see if they lower it, because that challenge is not worth the 30 they ask for.

RE:Mind is an alright DLC, but it's nothing particularly mind-blowing and mostly consists of recycled content from the final world of KH3. The main issue the game has is the price, as in my opinion what you get (two hours of cutscenes and a couple of old/new bosses) isn't worth the $30 price of entry.

The Story DLC by itself is kind of.... lets say lame. Like others already stated, its just replaying the ending with another perspective and some cool new battles. There are a few things about it that leave a bad taste. The additional playable characters for instance are a cool idea but not really playworthy because 1. You cant adjust their shortcuts and 2. Your sora is probably much much stronger gameplay wise. Soras strength is the next thing. The remind bosses are a cakewalk for people like me who did more than just beat the game and are overleveled with sora. Also adding more questions than answering is getting old.

Now the good things. The Remind part has some cool inscenated battles but what really makes this DLC shine is the limit cut episode. The bosses you encounter there are beautifully designed. Much better than I would have ever expected. Every boss got like 5 - 10 new Attack patterns and all of them have a strategy in mind. Their desperation attacks are hitting really hard and are long enough to force players to either learn how to block or on lower difficulties to at least make use of the kupo coin. They are all very intense on critical. They all also have new remixed battle music and some of them have new mechanics built in.

So all in all the additional boss battles are the main thing I wanted and I got them, better than I could imagine plus new keyblades and plus new abilities that make sense (Keyblades and Abilities are added as a free update)

30 Euros might be a bit too much but everyone has to decide for themselves wheather they are ready to pay that much for some neat bosses and a new story scenario. I for my part think it was worth it.

I would rate remind an 6-7 on its own, just depending on how much of a fan you are. but as we delve into this, I want to point out how much I love the games free content instead of making us pay for it, so my score is higher for that. It is overall a solid positive experience, but it is not a perfect one. A good few of these reviews are from people who went in expecting the wrong things, II would rate remind an 6-7 on its own, just depending on how much of a fan you are. but as we delve into this, I want to point out how much I love the games free content instead of making us pay for it, so my score is higher for that. It is overall a solid positive experience, but it is not a perfect one. A good few of these reviews are from people who went in expecting the wrong things, I can say that much is certain. The main pull of remind was to fill in gaps for the kh3 ending, which it very much did. It added multiple bits and pieces to cut scenes, but not big ones, and let me play as characters that we have never been able to play or only were able in a previous title or two, but only one time. I was happy to play them, BUT, I wouldn't recommend remind that heavily. It only has a few new fights, and some fights where you get to play as a different character, which is very.. sparse in content.

    Im torn with this pack

Kingdom hearts 3 - Remind is a nice dlc, but its not stellar, and its price is a bit inflated. It feels like it should of been 15 or 20 USD, not 30. I loved seeing some of my favorite characters get a few interactions, and filling in some gaps, along with all the data bosses which adds difficult content the game desperately needed (now making it one of, if not the hardest game in the series along with crit being in the game), but that leads to my next point.

KH3 has done a beautiful thing, free updates. We got critical and multiple balance changes added that made the game SO much more fun. New keyblades too? Thats awesome! However, that is the issue. That's not part of remind, its all free. In a way im happy to support the company by buying remind, to show free content is good and I love them for it, and I recommend that people do that as well because instead of paying 60 dollars for all this, we got it all for free and the option for some extras for 30. Although if im judging just reminds content.. well.. Remind gives you around a hour of new cut scene content, 5 or so reworked / new fights, and then the data bosses (which are all unique and new to be fair), and finally a super boss. You can explore scala ad calem from the main game much more, but it amounts to nothing. Its not very big.

This was a mostly positive experience, don't get it twisted, I think the data bosses were amazing, I loved playing as Roxas and Kairi! I heavily recommend the base game (please do play it, the updates are free and amazing), but this? Wait till its 20 or under. If you're a huge fan like me, then get it if you like challenge and want more of the ending explored or want to support square enix for its amazing business practices in my opinion of all the free content we usually need to pay for.

While there is not a significant amount of story content, what is there is pretty interesting barring a slow start.
The meat of this DLC comes from the new boss fights in the Limit Cut and Secret Episode. Both of those are excellent if you are a huge fan of the gameplay in Kingdom Hearts.
However I will say if you are ONLY interested in the story you may want to wait for a sale on this

Lets review them all :D; all of the 15 bosses are some of the best boss fights i've ever seen and what i'm saying is very important because bosses are always the most important parts of games for me. Especially real time action games. All of the bosses are godly designed and some of them include some twists. All of the musics for bosses are really intense too.

Fighting same bosses with different characters has some weak and good points. Like some bosses became so much satisfying to beat because of the increased difficulty about those characters. But the weak point is that it wasn't the most entertainin part of the game.

Kh3's combat has been always one of the most satisfying part of the game if not the most. But it lacked something that was in the other games. Fastness of the combat. Yeah it was fast but not life the kh2. And with this dlc you're given some abilities that makes you feel like a god. It's so fluid now that i can easily say it's one of my best combat systems in games general. Probably close second to dmc5 which has a completely different combat system that is mostly combo driven. Kh3 is not like that.

Not just the abilites made the combat better. The new weapons(keyblades) are one of the good points of remind.

Sometimes we see the other side of the cutscenes it was fun but again sometimes we just watch the same damn long scenes and it's probably the biggest minus in the dlc.

There some new moments in the story with new cutscenes and this just didn't solve storywise many problems in kh3 but made it a lot better.

yeah this is all i can say for now but i really really recommend this dlc. it's one of the best dlcs i've ever seen but probably not the best. remind dlc with it's new combat additions kh3's combatwise potential has been fullfilled and became so satisfying with new bosses and it's story became far more interesting and confident about itself.

Either we have critics who don't understand the monumental value of this DLC and just blasted through it, or we have people complaining about the price, and the ubiquitous "this should have been in the game to begin with!!!" despite the fact that this stuff is par for the course with Kingdom Hearts' "Final Mixes." Yes, I would've very much liked to see this stuff in the base game, but I won't knock the base game for it not including this stuff, and I especially won't knock the DLC for not being released a year ago, since that's just juvenile. So here's my take, since I think that 95% of these reviews are sorta dumb and are clearly missing just how crucial this DLC is.
OBVIOUSLY KH3 SPOILERS BUT NO DLC SPOILERS!
    ReMind Scenario:
In my opinion, the titular portion of the DLC is probably the weakest part of it, though that's not to say that I didn't enjoy it a lot. It added some much needed explanation about events that happened during the main game's story like how Aqua just gave up and died, though I don't think that some things like Xion's return needed to be explained as that's literally what the plot of the Toy Story's world was centered on. While the latter half of this scenario was bombastic and had amazing production value and left me very satisfied, I felt that the first two hours or so were quite filler-y. Yes, they added new playable characters which brought interesting twists to these battles, but one thing I really took issue with was that it made you replay the ENTIRE ending portion of KH3, cutscenes included. And since some cutscenes had new stuff while others didn't, there were many times when I sat through a cutscene I had already seen 20 times before, just because I didn't want to miss anything new. Overall, I liked this part, but it could've been handled better, so it's probably the only reason I can't give this DLC a 10.
    Limitcut Scenario:
This is single-handedly one of the best things to ever happen to Kingdom Hearts. Everything, from the bosses, to the presentation itself is superb. The design of the bosses and the process of learning their patterns is executed so well that it might just be on par with KH2's data bosses, if not even better. This is the most fun that KH has been in YEARS, possibly the most fun it's ever been. Osaka team really stepped their game up with these fights by giving everyone brand new move-sets and unique weaknesses that challenge the player in numerous ways while still being fair. The 13 new songs that Yoko Shimomura composed for these fights instantly became some of my favorite songs in the series from the moment I first heard them. The quality of these fights is just so ridiculous that I'm still recoiling from it and trying to wrap my head around the fact that KH3--the game that got panned by the community for being too easy, not having enough interesting boss fights and reusing too many old songs---is the same game I was playing throughout Limitcut.
Secret Episode (and some more stuff about Limitcut):
To be honest, I was kinda hoping that this would be more like BBSFM's secret episode, but it really just consists of the secret boss fight. Still though, the story that plays out throughout this fight is very engrossing and the secret boss itself is VERY fun to and is arguably one of the best-designed bosses in all of KH. Between this and the Limitcut Episode, I genuinely feel like we've hit a turning point in the quality of Kingdom Hearts' gameplay design and it's quite literally at its highest high right now. Seriously, the new fights they've added are literally game-changers, so much so that even prominent KH players who were critical of the original game are raving about how great these fights are. Not only will they take you a while to get through the first time around, but the replay value that's created by the depth of these fights is incredible. The secret fight alone is gonna keep people entertained for years and will go down in KH history as being immensely replayable and interesting.
    Concluding thoughts:
ReMind was about 5-6 hours, Limitcut took me a day on standard and I'm still not done on critical, while the secret episode alone took me nearly half a day. Not only that, but I've had a lot more fun with the new photo mode than I expected to as it's surprisingly robust. The new Fast Pass and Black Code modes have also added a lot of replay value to the main story and give a ton of opportunities to experiment with the game some more. I feel like $20 would've been a nice price point, but between all the new things and they've added, all the response to fans' complaints and arguably the funnest set pieces/fights in all of Kingdom Hearts, ReMind is absolutely worth its asking price and I really feel like most who say otherwise doesn't understand the significance of this DLC.

However, if you're into the combat, hard bosses, and memes then this DLC is made for you. The LimitCut bosses add 13 new bosses that super challenging, fun, and well designed. And I would say that they're more fun than KH2's data battles. They add what Vanilla KH3 was missing, challenging bosses. I have beaten them all on Crit and I can't wait to go back on my Level 1 file and do them again with Pro Codes enabled. Then the Secret Episode Boss is great, by far and away the best boss in the series, takes the crown away from Linger Will. Super fun to learn and to execute that fight, and the story elements that are added along with him are pretty cool. Plus there's EZ Codes and Pro codes, which offer some unique ways to play and challenges for players. And last but not least Data Greetings which is a meme machine. The amount of great memes and user scene creations I have seen come out of it have already proven to me it was a perfect inclusion in the DLC. All in all I couldn't have asked for more from the DLC even with the Remind story retread. However if you're a person who only wants more story and doesn't care about challenge then I can see how this DLC is not worth it for you, but $30 is a good price point for this DLC from my standpoint. However, in reality, half that time is 90% a repeat of the end of the original Kingdom Hearts, with a few extra scenes thrown in, that you have to play through AGAIN. It is very tedious. There is not much in the way of new content here, particularly in terms of gameplay; the little new gameplay that is present is mostly just a rehash of what you’ve done before, though there are a couple new bosses.

The game also tries to show off the rest of the keyblade masters who were with you, having them fight a bunch of Xehanort clones while Sora was battling with Master Xehanort. Unfortunately, while this is the most significant new content, it is also pretty bad; the mass battle is extremely simplistic and, while flashy, is not particularly interesting it terms of gameplay. Playing as Mickey, which should have been a highlight, is literally just a quick time event, and while I appreciated the chance to play as Mickey, this wasn’t the chance I was hoping for, as it wasn’t very good either.

Once you’ve fought your way through everything, the ending plays again, and is only barely different.

As the end of the game wasn’t great the first time, playing through it a second time (and in some ways, a THIRD time, as part of it was a repeat from the part that actually repeats in the MAIN GAME due to time travel shenanigans) was even worse.

The only good part of this was that the hidden motivations of a couple characters were shown off a bit more – but in the end, this wasn’t worth the tedium, and some of the “hidden motivations” weren’t really that hidden to begin with and just took up time.

After you’ve beaten the game AGAIN, the rest of the play time is fighting your way through 14 post-game bosses, 12 of which are, in theory, repeats.

In reality, these boss fights are basically new; while they do draw a little on the main game, the way that these fights play out is wildly different. These fights are designed to be hard and actually challenge your skill at the game, and they succeed at this; even at level 99, these fights will often kill you repeatedly. About a third could be beaten on the first attempt, and a few more in the first couple tries, but a number were quite hard, with three taking an hour or more each.

Two of the fights – Xion and the secret final boss – are entirely new, and not represented anywhere else in the game. These are also the two hardest fights, and were, in a sense, the most fun – though unfortunately, they were also the most frustrating, as they showed off some of the weaknesses of the combat system, like the item animations being interruptible and the fact that, once in the air, you only get one dodge, which means that it can be easy for enemies to combo you, making you feel helpless.

On the other hand, they do actually require you to master the game a bit, which is in sharp contrast to the entirety of the main story of the game.

Overall, all 14 of these fights are the best 14 fights in the entire game – they actually add mechanics to make each fight mechanically interesting, rather than the mostly boring fights with the keyblade wielders in the main campaign. All of them show off the various characters’ special powers, and the enemies feel distinct from each other in their attack patterns and the challenge they represent.

But it just isn’t worth it. Playing through the entirety of KH3 is bad enough, but fighting through the end of that game AGAIN is just tedious. And for that, you get 14 boss fights which are fun for people like me who enjoy hard games like Cuphead, but which many players will likely not be able to beat due to the high challenge level presented – and given how easy Kingdom Hearts 3 is, the game does a very poor job of preparing people for these bosses, and they may alienate players who find the main game to be of a more reasonable difficult.

I can’t really recommend this to anyone. People who are actual hardcore players will hate Kingdom Hearts 3 for how easy it is, making this DLC a moot point, and even people who played through KH3 will find it tedious and boring, and may find the bosses too hard.

I really enjoyed the dlc but I stupidly used my clear data for kingdom hearts 3 as my limitcut clear data because I didnt want to replay remind twice. reminds final battle is incredibly fun. the additions to scaela al caelum are amazing and the final battle with mickey is one of the most beautiful things youll see on the ps4. it looks like to deliver that level of quality they padded out the rest of the dlc. its not really worth the money but if you make it to the end the end sequence with mickey is really impressive. Kingdom Hearts III añade partes de la historia de Kairi y Sora en la batalla contra las 13 oscuridades, una banda sonora memorable al igual que el juego base, recomendable para completar la historia.

At first glance Nomura and Square Enix 's DLC for Kingdom Hearts 3 is a slap across the face to it's fans and gamers who purchased. Yet the more you dive into the ReMind DLC the more it expands giving you an experience you'll find no where else.

    Some minor DLC Spoilers ahead.

The first half of ReMind is essentially a retelling of the ending in KH3 with some minor cutscene differences and recycled boss battles with a twist, it also somehow manages to confuse you about the conclusion you already know in classic Kingdom Hearts fashion. This could be seen as both positive and negative since the ending of KH3 is by all means the best part of the game. On the other hand you could say this is Square Enix being greedy and lazy by not changing it up enough. So up until this point I was on the negative side, especially since I had just finished my second playthrough of KH3 the day before the DLC’s release and I was pretty much playing the same exact thing. Plus we can all just check YouTube to look at the new cut scenes for free.

However the second half of ReMind and what comes after is where you start to get your money’s worth as it honestly nails the conclusion to KH3. You get to explore new areas of one of the most beautiful worlds in any KH game and there are so many epic moments including characters who didn't get their moments in the base game. MOST IMPORTANTLY my girl Kairi is finally is given her time to shine in what has become my favorite boss fight in KH3 (so far). At the end of ReMind everything clicks to form a good DLC experience.

Overall the ReMind section of the DLC has some awesome high moments and annoying lows as well, luckily there’s more in the DLC including 13 epic boss fights in a limit cut episode that’s unlocked once you finish ReMind. This episode continues the story post KH3 and if you’re a fan of the Radiant Garden additional content in KH 2.5 final mix you’ll love the limitcut episode. I haven’t been able to progress any further as I’m playing on Critical mode and I’m only level 44 but I’m gonna grind those levels since I’ve been getting One-hit KO’d by the new data bosses… brutal, I know. This DLC is definitely not perfect and is a bit overpriced in my opinion, a $20 or even $25 launch price tag seems more reasonable so if you feel like waiting for it to go on sale I don’t blame you, but I don't see it going on sale until maybe the end of the year. If you’re a die hard Kingdom Hearts fan and or are looking to get back into KH3 this is definitely a must buy. It does a better job of wrapping up an already awesome conclusion and progresses the narrative of future Kingdom Heart games, but who knows when that’ll come out so for now enjoy the DLC.

    ReMind Section: 7/10
    Limitcut Episode: 9/10
    Overall: 8/10

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. KH3 ReMind is a pretty fine and decent DLC to have and it’s kinda overpriced wasn’t good or bad just pretty fine

ReMind Scenario: Lets dive into this one the episode is full of new cutscenes and soooo many reused ones and cool playable characters and just a rehash boss rush the first 3 bosses were dark inferno phase 1er, Anti Rehash Aqua, and Terra-Xeharehash, then we face the organization XIII again but some slight changes like playable characters, new team attacks, and new cutscenes, I pretty much all find that awesome but not the bosses that we have to redo it ok now we get on to Scala they one add area you can explore it was pretty awesome that we can explore it now but the bosses were small heartless joke, Darkside, and Xehanort Replicas again then again in Keyblade Graveyard but with the Guardians of light the 2nd one was **** sick and Mickey was the MVP for it, then we face Goatnort again but with a Sephiroth DM and 12 Keyblades behind him, then after that we see the ending but with Sora and Kairi overall all of that should’ve been there to begin with so I give this episode a 6/10

Limitcut Episode: when you enter the episode you get a cutscene with Riku and the way finder trio heading out to realm of darkness to find Sora then after that we get to radiant garden and see FF characters again if you hope they have a bigger role in this episode then you will be incredibly disappointed because they had small role cid was researching data to find Sora and Kairi is asleep, yeah moving on then we get the Data Battles these were incredibly fun and hard at the same time then after you beat all of them fairy god mother returns to tell Riku about his dream (AKA secret ending) and all that stuff I give this a 10/10 the data fights are soo enjoyable including the music

Secret Episode: Alright it begins with Sora waking up in the Final World meeting Yozora then we get to Shibuya to fight him and it was sooo hard at first then I got use to it and won and that good ending I was like “WAIT LUXORD!?” And then the kh1 opening line with Sora and Yozora the two endings show Sora for good and Yozora for bad in the Final World so yeah I give this a 9/10

Conclusion: Man the Secret Episode ending got me more questions about Luxord and Yozora and holy crap don’t know what to say now overall it’s a fine DLC is it recommended? Yes and No! Is it worth it? Yes and No Pros:
    New OSTs are fire!
    Playable Characters are fun!
    New Cutscenes are Cool!
    Data Greeting!
    Data Battles!
    Mickey!

    Cons:
    Rehash Bosses!
    Reused Cutscenes!
    More Questions!
    Things should’ve been in 2019

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The trailers really made it look like the Final Fantasy characters had a large part in this story, but really they have little screen time and almost no purpose in the DLC other than say that they'll help with the search on Sora. I went into this DLC knowing we'll be playing the last part of the game again, though I hoped it gave something more than just other perspective and a few tweaks on the final cutscene of the game. Don't get me wrong the ending cutscene is much more sad with the additional scene showing what Sora and Kairi did for all their friends then by the end Sora still fading away. Anyways, I think this DLC will be more appealing to the die-hard fans of the series, because by the end of the story you fight digital copies of the Organization XIII and the main end to the DLC is fighting Yozora, that might hint that he may be a huge part in the future of the Kingdom Hearts series. Overall it's not a DLC for a casual liker of the series, but great for the die-hard fans. I finished the story in less than 4 hours without even max leveling Sora, so imagine if you're playing a max leveled Sora with the Ultima Keyblade? Expand

I think the package is a bit expensive for what it offers. For 30 Dollars/Euros you get
    - like 3-4 hours of new story, which is recycling elements and bosses from the ending of the base game
    - 14 Superbosses, which are in my opinion very well done and super fun - A photo generator where you can place characters on maps how you want to do photos - ez/pro codes for the base game to add

I think the content is worth like 15-20$

I consider myself as a Kingdom Hearts fan, but this was a straight failure for me. Almost no new stories. Just recycling stuff from before + boss fights. Never been as disappointed to Square Enix. Now for the first time since KH1, they have to win me back.

So is it worth it… well clearly I don’t think so. I mean don’t get me wrong, it’s pretty, it sounds good and there is a charm to the characters… but the DLC really doesn’t add much to the main game and what it does add is kind of just punishment in one form or another. Maybe if you are a hard core fan and just want as much of this IP as you can get… otherwise, there are better things to spend your money on.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind is designed for true fans of the series, being the Final Mix that fans were waiting for. But its high price, even for the most loyal ones, is undoubtedly its weakest and most critical point.
