As tantalizing as the superboss and secret endings may be, they're not nearly enough to justify Re:Mind's outrageous asking price and its sheer volume of retreaded content.

Even as a longtime fan of the series who adored Kingdom Hearts 3, it's hard to muster up any sort of enthusiasm for Re:Mind. What's more, Re:Mind made me understand Kingdom Hearts 3's story even less, which is a testament to how bonkers it really is. It's not all that surprising this happened; after all, it's Kingdom Hearts. Nevertheless, Re:Mind is an incredibly peculiar expansion that simultaneously falls flat and partially obscures the brilliance of Kingdom Hearts 3.

When it comes down to it, I didn’t dislike Re;Mind. I think it was actually a well put together DLC that fixes some glaring problems with KHIII. I just sort of wish that those problems weren’t there to fix in the first place.

Even the true fans will retreat to YouTube to watch the cutscenes, because there's nothing to entice players here. Re Mind is a dud and a total disappointment for any KH fan.

    All hail King Mickey!

This DLC gave some much needed spotlight to many characters that didn’t get a chance to shine in the original KH3, and the gameplay enhancements + new boss fights are some of the best in the entire series, right up there with KH2:FM!

The return of Final Fantasy characters was really nice to see as well.

Also, the photo mode is much more engaging and robust than I thought it would be, and it’s a lot of fun just to walk around in places like Radiant Garden and Destiny Islands again!

This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. 30 dollars for almost no new content, recycled cutscenes and fights. Scala explorable? Yeah, just like Twilight Town: 2 areas, ridiculous and outrageous. Secret Episode is not an Episode like BbSFM's Secret Episode, but just a boss fight: thank you for scamming us. Don't buy this and save your money by watching what's "new" on YouTube. Do yourself a favour and love yourself. An incomplete add-on to an already incomplete game: marvellous! Full Review »
