    Sony already explained that the purpose of remastering games is to give the people who didn't have PS3 the chance to experience some of the best games made for that console.
    In my case, I had PS3 but I couldn't play GOW3 so this is my chance and I'm not gonna pass it.

    This game is truly a masterpiece. Epic boss battles, fantastic set-pieces, great pacing and excellent level design and combat make it a must-have for anyone who has a PS4 and likes action games. This is easily the best game I've played on PS4.

    This is not just a lazy up res as some salty "gamers" who will never see anything more than a compressed YouTube vid will claim. God of War 3 Remastered is a must buy for those who haven't played, but also for those who have. The PS4 version does this game so much justice with the fluidity of 60fps combat and with the low latency ultra responsive DUALSHOCK 4 controller you will have a newfound mastery over Kratos The Godslayer. The new gauntlet weapon is a welcomed addition and a grappling good time, and with the improved visuals the boss fights come to life like never before, Poseidon is a sight to behold in native 1080p.

    This really is a fantastic experience on the PS4 and the game is more thrilling than ever. Even if you are a God of War veteran you owe it to yourself to experience the very best version of the most epic game of all-time, and if you own a PS4 but have never experienced the series, invest in a set of hinges because this game will blow the doors off.     La calidad grafica es indiscutible, si no se sabria q fue un juego de ps3 tranquilamente pasa por un juego de ps4. Los que se quejan de las remasterizaciones simplemente que no lo compren y se acabo, pero yo jugue a todos los God of War en sus respectivas consolas y aun asi lo compre por soy un fan de la saga. Muy recomendado.

    One of the best game the ps3 owners had now its remastered in glorious 1080p 60 fps gorgeous visuals epic battles and bossfights fun fighting and some replay value.

    This game is exactly what you would expect. God of War III. The 60fps is smooth to watch and with the gameplay God of War feels great. But the graphics, while nice to look at sometimes, just aren't that big a deal. $40 for this? No thanks. I'll just leave God of War on my PS3 where it should have stayed.

    Motivation to play the Game

    I've played this game before (or at least attempted to) and just didn't like it. Then this year, I played God of War (2018) and its one of the best games that I have ever played. So I figured that I should give this game another try. Why I did not finish the game I just don't like it, the story is a bad revenge story.     The cutscences aren't 60fps, but I don't have any complaints considering that I didn't get to play GOW3 on PS3, a day before the announcement of GOW3 Remastered on PS4, I was thinking that they would do it, and it happened.

    I did'n like it very much. The game starts with fighting enemy bosses? Are you serious? I Completed it with 51%, but I was very disappointed and a little bored. Try GOW 2018 witch is perfect.

The boss fights and stages are on a epic scale (the beginning titan is unreal), and it just gets better. Story is just fine as well. Other than that, it would be more disappointing to see a return of the Remastered (unless you happen to play from the beginning of the story to the end - which is God of War 3). EDIT: What I did not realize was for a fact that your controller changes colour based on the weapon itself that your wielding.     I don't give a rats ass about 1080p or 60fps, but the gameplay is... obviously, I fought God of War is just a slack of anger games, but instead it is not! Kratos was the reason why your mom wouldn't buy you a PS2, & other reason, Sex content! So now, you can play Kratos in your PS4 and ignored your mom ranting s*it, because you now, a grown up, to play this AWESOME GAME!

    It is a port, and to be perfectly honest, a pretty bad one at that.
    The plastic textures are not redone, the AI is left precisely as stupid as it used to be and the gameplay has not received a single much needed tweak.     Performance:
    God Of War 3 runs at 1080p 60fps... at least that is what we are told. The "60fps" does not dip, so much as it plummets into the 30s and low 40s and remains there for almost the entire game. Jarring screen tear ruins any possible gain of the resolution bump purely from the disjointed picture that is displayed on screen thanks to these horrific tears.

    Gameplay:
    The gameplay, which I can only assume is supposed to be violent is ruined by the goofy, cartoonish animations and controls, levels are repeated over and over again until you lose any challenge and just rely on the muscle memory as each mission is layed out exactly as it was before.

    Story:
    There simply is not any story here, Kratos must stop a god and- blah-blah-blah
    the exact same story as GOW 1 and 2.
    I'll put it like this, there is only so many times you can read a book, there is only so many times you can play a God of War title.

    Despite the stable 60 fps e and native resolution at 1080p, god of war 3 remastered not add anything than old last gen's version . The game is proposed for people who never played on ps3. The gameplay and also the fixed camera are old, . Whatever Play with Kratos is always a good experience.

    I never play God of War, - minus for me is this remastered not includes all Saga only III part. Game have very good gameplay with nice epic music. Its pity game lenght.

    they gave us what we allready have for 60$ and it the same but with 1080p resolution dont recommending it if u own the ps3 version of it buy another game like gta or mafia insted of wasting your mony

    Some the set pieces and atmosphere are amazing. Too bad you cant move the camera around that much to enjoy it more so. The action is gripping and exciting but somewhat repetitive after a while (ie same enemies spawned over and over in different waves).
    Last boss fight dragged on for too long but was still enjoyable and epic.

    Was good not as good as 1st n 2nd to me. Half the gods arent even true boss battles like and not many large bosses either. worth it to finish the trilogy...or does it???

    I just played it to get a head start for the new GoW game, and while it was fun, that fun was kind of mindless. The almost cartoon-like repetitive brutality doesn't cut it for me, and the graphics didn't age well, not even with the remaster.

I've decided to try 3 remastered I got for free in ps plus years ago, and was surprised so much. Gameplay is a bit aged, however, the game itself is fun and I think it's even better than 2018 :) They are different games, eras(ps3 vs ps4) and budgets, however this old gameI liked the 2018 God of war. After dinner that day, i went on my PC and found out that GOW3 is getting a PS4 remaster. Coincidence? I don't think so.Being a PS3 game at the end of the day, the remastered graphics may not be up to current PS4 standards, but they're still very good. Definitely acceptable. Graphics aren't the reason I like this game though. The gameplay is amazing, and fun. Boss fights are epic and even the general fighting is solid.
    The puzzles could've been harder but the scenery/locations are pretty cool.

    Speaking of compelling, the voice actor for Kratos isn't very good-especially compared to the fact that they have some really impressive actors cast as side characters. Kratos just seems to grunt his way through each conversation.

    The combat was decent. By the end of it I was mostly button mashing and they do throw an annoying amount of enemies at you.

    Overall, I'm glad that I played it, the game just didn't stand out to me like some of the other entries in the series.    … Expand

Destroying every god had their consequences, the boss fights are great and the combat was rock solid. I even played it on the hardest difficulty and got the platinum trophy it.     The ending where kratos shows his caring side, and travel through the river of sadness and find hope was impressive. The suicide really had an impact, and symbolically it was the end of the vengenceful Kratos.    … Expand

    After playing the game on the P.S Vita I wanted to finish the story, and what a remasted game this is! Great graphics one of the best in the PlayStation 4 and the game is easier for me but very enjoyable finale.

    Como siempre, hay que tener en cuenta que esto es un remaster, un lavado de cara del juego original de PS3 y hay que decir que le sienta genial en lo visual. Se ve como un juego actual y el lavado de cara aumenta exponencialmente la espectacularidad que ya de por sí es inherente al juego.

    Para los que no lo hayan jugado nunca, o conozcan a Kratos solo por la última entrega o por los constantes anuncios de Ragnarok, decir que esto es un hack and slash de la vieja escuela con resolución de puzzles, con una historia excelente y un diseño absolutamente magistral. Cada uno de los juegos es un enorme puzzle dividido en varios puzzles más pequeños. El combate es fluido y espectacular, hace parecer al jugador que es un verdadero maestro con el mando, alternando combos y magias ante verdaderas hordas de enemigos cada vez mejor equipados y poderosos. Mención especial para los combates contra los jefes finales, con esos QTE que ya son marca de la casa. La tercera entrega se caracteriza por ser la más retorcida y espectacular, si cabe, de los 3 juegos originales en lo que concierne a su diseño.

    La historia empieza arriba y sigue subiendo casi toda la partida, en el ultimo tercio se relaja un poco antes del subidón final pero el nivel medio es muy alto. El adjetivo que mejor lo describe es épico, te ves en situaciones únicas y espectaculares que suelen terminar de manera aún más espectacular.

    Jugablemente se siente como una picadora de carne. A diferencia del GOW de ps4 en este he sentido que era realmente un Dios de la guerra y así lo han sentido también mis enemigos con la gran cantidad de ejecuciones, agarres y golpes especiales que ofrece el combate. La variedad de enemigos y las distintas animaciones, ataques y finishers de cada uno no tienen comparación. Todos los combates contra jefes los he visto muy bien acabados salvo un par de ellos donde se podían haber pulido un poco mejor los hitbox o haber ajustado más la dificultad.
    La progresión es bastante natural, tienes mucha variedad de armas y ataques y los coleccionables están muy bien colocados. Los puzzles no son excesivamente complicados pero sí muy originales.

    Me parece un must play en toda regla para cualquiera que le guste el género y me da rabia no haber jugado la saga en su momento.

    I got this game free with PS plus. First, I thought after reading a few reviews that it would be a short game (8 hours or so) but I was wrong. It may sound cool for a few minutes but it doesn't make his character any likable. There was too much unnecessary violence. I felt that the game was violent for the sake of being violent. There were scenes when you rip someone's head off or cut off another one's legs or throw a girl into a crank and she gets reduced to a pool of blood. It's like the developers said: you wanted violence? well, here you go!
    So to summarize: The combat gets repetitive, the main character is always angry and yelling, and players can't sympathize with him, the game is just too violent for no reason.

    Finally got around to playing this one!! Was a great game. Combat is as great as it was in the previous ones, the story kept me interested. It’s a great mix of puzzles and complete chaos. I went in to this one with the intention of flying through it so I could move on to the new God of War. However I thoroughly enjoyed this title. I only have one complaint and it may be a skill/personalFinally got around to playing this one!! Was a great game. Combat is as great as it was in the previous ones, the story kept me interested. Maybe Helios or Kratos himself? It is worth mentioning that defeating each boss is really a challenge (if you play the game at least on normal difficulty).

    I finished the game in about 13 hours, so the game confiscated me for three in the afternoon. This is not bad at all and due to the non-stop action that is in the game from start to finish, you won't even like it like those 13 hours.

    This game really preceded its time when it was released on the Playstation 3. It was played on the Playstation 5 and I have to say just WoW.

    The game had only a few small cons. One of them, for example, some of the puzzles, or the system of jumping from harp to harp, also annoyed me several times.

    Having played the original GOW3 on ps3 10 years ago , i was just amazed by how the frame rate of this one is on my PS4. Anyways , this game in my opinion is a masterpiece with a satisfying conclusion to the Greek saga for Kratos before he moved to Midgard.

It really made me feel Krato's blood lust and anger. - Kratos was a relatable character to me.     - there were some awkward puzzles that weren't clear. There was one part where the climbing controls reversed as I climbed onto a perpendicular surface which caused my death.

    - Some of the areas were huge, and the camera is zoomed way out. This made certain parts hard to see as I was fighting a horde or enemies, or trying to platform.    … Expand

    Плюсы:
    1. Сюжет. Лучше чем в 2018, без шуток, проблема не в нем.
    2. Боссы. Интересные механики у них и поля битвы
    3. Атмосфера постепенно умирающего мира не лучшая, но точно на уровне
    50/50:

    Played this to get ready for ragnarok, I play almost all my games on hard mode. It might only haven't aged well but man it's painful to play even on normal difficulty. The game wants you to rely on blocks and parries but the enemies animations are so bad it's really hard to get the good timing. I stopped playing after beating the second boss. :(

    Game incrível que explica uma certa parte da vida de Kratos , várias habilidades/armas , combate frenético , tudo que um estúdio sony pode nos proporcionar.
    Apesar de ser um remastered entrega o que promete.

    on of best Games I ever play. God Of War 2018 is awsome and cool graphic and .... but I love God of War III Actions and fights more, more option to use

    A zero-hassle remaster of a great action hack 'n' slash. The combat system is still great, even if inferior to that of some Japanese games of the same genre, and the graphics have aged extraordinarily well. Still, as we said, a lot more could have been done in this remaster.

    The fact that the Photo Mode is one of the emphasized features tells everything about how necessary this remaster was and how much effort was put into it. Yes, the textures are sharper, the lighting is better, but the difference is not breathtaking, because the game was already stunningly beautiful before. It’s not how I imagined Kratos’ assault on PS4. So why such a high score? Five years later it’s still an exceptional game and I envy everyone who is to experience this grand adventure for the first time. [09/2015, p.43]
