May be it's just not my cup of tea, but I found this game to aggressive with the story telling and action is a bit too much. Could not finish.

Flight sections on "Titan" are broken and unfair, so you get what you deserve, developers

I did'n like it very much. The game starts with fighting enemy bosses? Are you serious? I Completed it with 51%, but I was very disappointed and a little bored. Try GOW 2018 witch is perfect.

Before we start this review let me make this clear, God Of War 3 Remastered is NOT a remaster.
It is a port, and to be perfectly honest, a pretty bad one at that.
The plastic textures are not redone, the AI is left precisely as stupid as it used to be and the gameplay has not received a single much needed tweak. Performance: God Of War 3 runs at 1080p 60fps... at least that is what

It is a port, and to be perfectly honest, a pretty bad one at that.

The plastic textures are not redone, the AI is left precisely as stupid as it used to be and the gameplay has not received a single much needed tweak.

    Performance:
God Of War 3 runs at 1080p 60fps... at least that is what we are told. The "60fps" does not dip, so much as it plummets into the 30s and low 40s and remains there for almost the entire game. Jarring screen tear ruins any possible gain of the resolution bump purely from the disjointed picture that is displayed on screen thanks to these horrific tears.

    Gameplay:
The gameplay, which I can only assume is supposed to be violent is ruined by the goofy, cartoonish animations and controls, levels are repeated over and over again until you lose any challenge and just rely on the muscle memory as each mission is layed out exactly as it was before.

    Story:
There simply is not any story here, Kratos must stop a god and- blah-blah-blah
the exact same story as GOW 1 and 2.
I'll put it like this, there is only so many times you can read a book, there is only so many times you can play a God of War title.

Do yourself a favor, don't buy this game.

Uninteresting, confused, chaotic product of digestive tract I refused to waste my time with after 20 minutes of playing it.

Seriously, this game had me realizing that hack&slash games may not be my object of liking. The scenes are way too chaotic. I didn't even have time to realize where my character is located and trying to at least touch the enemy by hitting square frantically, I didn't even have time to watch HUD and enjoy the game in the end. The quick-time events are thoughtlessly sudden and provide very little time to react to. Controls layout is nonsensical yet disallowing to alter.
The dialogues I heard so far are naive and laughable.
The only positive I noticed until my nerves burst out and made me hit "Delete game" (twice! By the way. I gave the game second chance) were the graphics, level design and visualization of the ancient greek myths (of course violated to the bone).

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I bought a PS4 and i was tallking with my brother what should i buy for it. And i said, damn if GOW3 was on PS4 i would buy it instantly. After dinner that day, i went on my PC and found out that GOW3 is getting a PS4 remaster. Coincidence? I don't think so.Being a PS3 game at the end of the day, the remastered graphics may not be up to current PS4 standards, but they're still very good. Definitely acceptable. Graphics aren't the reason I like this game though. The gameplay is amazing, and fun. Boss fights are epic and even the general fighting is solid.
The puzzles could've been harder but the scenery/locations are pretty cool.
    It's a must play

This game is overall terrible. It's a hack 'n slash semi platformer that doesn't let you look around. This game is over all terrible, and the story is flat out bad

For me this game is a solid 10/10. The menu music along with the background were a sign of things to come. Destroying every god had their consequences, the boss fights are great and the combat was rock solid. I even played it on the hardest difficulty and got the platinum trophy it. A zero-hassle remaster of a great action hack 'n' slash. The combat system is still great, even if inferior to that of some Japanese games of the same genre, and the graphics have aged extraordinarily well. Still, as we said, a lot more could have been done in this remaster.

The fact that the Photo Mode is one of the emphasized features tells everything about how necessary this remaster was and how much effort was put into it. Yes, the textures are sharper, the lighting is better, but the difference is not breathtaking, because the game was already stunningly beautiful before. It’s not how I imagined Kratos’ assault on PS4. So why such a high score? Five years later it’s still an exceptional game and I envy everyone who is to experience this grand adventure for the first time. [09/2015, p.43]

A great game, and finally on a system that can run it properly.
