    This is what videogames should be all about. Beautiful environment, amazing story, great character development. Gameplay is unbelievably awesome, you feel like a badass samurai or a merciless ninja all the time! Play this game!

    Truly an outstanding game. It feels like an assassin's creed game better writing. The story isn't anything new, but it is executed beautifully. Beautiful is a word that can be used a lot throughout the game, from the soundtrack, to the scenery and even the character customization. Suckerpunch have outdone themselves.

    this, in my opinion, is the swan song to the PS4's life cycle, it goes out with a bang, this is easily the best sony exclusive of the generation, and a contender for game of the year, I have no complaints about the game itself, I just wish the included commentary and art books were longer, and that there were more than 2 endings, with the choices you make along your journey determiningthis, in my opinion, is the swan song to the PS4's life cycle, it goes out with a bang, this is easily the best sony exclusive of the generation, and a contender for game of the year, I have no complaints about the game itself, I just wish the included commentary and art books were longer, and that there were more than 2 endings, with the choices you make along your journey determining your alignment from samurai to or ghost, rather than one, albeit emotional decision at the end of the main story, the only real complaint I have is that in quick and heated moments, sometimes I would try to change my stance and it wouldn't work all the time, but that's most likely my own fault, and my only other major complaint is that you can only climb on certain parts of cliffs, and only grapple on specific trees and buildings, I've been spoiled by Breath of the wild and the Arkham series in that regards,… Expand

    Deserves a much much higher average critic rating. Incredible Story, Characters, Graphics and Combat. The scenery goes ahead of its time. One of few games that I have felt real raw emotion for. A masterpiece in gaming.. a MUST play.

    Excellent game, on every aspect, environment, beautiful landscapes, combat, character depth, ultra short loading screens, random encounters, main history long enough and a lot of side quest, I don't think it can get any better than this. I just couldn't stop playing the game

    This game was super fun to play. The visuals are ungodly! The story is great, he missions are cool. There’s nothing I didn’t like about the game. I legit couldn’t stop playing it. 14+ hrs a day for about a week or so.

I had high hopes for this game, given who worked on it, and I was not diappointed. I know I'm beating a dead horse, but I agree that this game feels like what modern Assassin's Creed should be. This game takes the Assassin's Creed formula, gives it a cool setting that hasn't been done in that series, and gives you a reasonable amount of things to do. I think one of my favorite parts of the game was how they put a good amount of content into it, but didn't make the world feel barren or cluttered. That balance is almost always flawed in similar games, but I felt like this one really made sure to space things out in such a way that you weren't wandering aimlessly through the world looking for something to do, but you weren't stuck looking for 100 feathers and other useless collectibles, either. Almost everything presented to you as a player is designed to help you get stronger by playing the game and exploring. You feel much better by the end of the game than you were in the beginning, and with different play styles, why you are stronger by the end is somewhat up to player choice. I could go on about this game forever, but it's 2 in the morning. Please play it if you haven't already. This is my pick for GotY 2020, and with how positive the reviews for it look, I think many agree.… Expand

    This is by far the best game I have played since horizon zero dawn. The Witcher 3 b4 that! Just so many positive things to say about this game! Story was great & gameplay as well. Graphics pretty good & scenery of Japan was gorgeous. Just finished my first play through & about to start a second! Give this game a try & really experiment with the different tools/weapons to get unique kills!This is by far the best game I have played since horizon zero dawn. The Witcher 3 b4 that!     Full disclosure I haven’t beaten this game yet. But man oh man do I LOVE it! The graphics are amazing, the story is amazing, the voice acting is on point and it’s a fun play.

    Ghost of Tsushima is one of the best games I have ever played. It's story, graphics and sound plays very well together. The world is large but not too large, the main story is of course linear but you can divert from it at almost any point in time to just go exploring.     The game was absolutely amazing, the best way to describe it is like Witcher 3 with all the collectibles and discoveries and side missions but set in feudal Japan and with a much better combat system. The game is absolutely beautiful where I had to stop and say wow and take screenshots of the beautiful scenery.     Sucker Punch got to open up the PS4 generation and now they're closing it with a very worthy title. I'm really glad to see that there are still developers that hold true to what they promise before release. I have been excited for this game for years and had really high expectations for it. Ghost Of Tsushima is a respectful bow to Japan's flourishing, diverse culture and even though they took some liberties in regards to historical accuracy, it's all coming together in a fitting and immersive, bombastic experience of the Mongolian invasion during the kamakura period on Tsushima island. This is the samurai/ronin/ninja experience we've all been waiting for. I especially have to praise the many different customization options of the protagonist and a complete lack of in-game purchases. Ubisoft take note, this is how you make a modern Open World game .Wonderful title 10/10.… Expand

    The best samurai game in a long time and a great fun for all, who love action. Love for Japan and its history is a big plus, but its knowledge is not necessary to enjoy every minute of this beautiful game. [Issue#305]

    Ghost of Tsushima is a flawed, but fun, game. While the gameplay itself was solid, and the story was decent, I definitely expected a lot more from Sony’s final PlayStation 4 exclusive. It had enough to keep me hooked, but lacked the polish we’ve all grown to love from a Sony first party game.

    Ultimately, it feels like the game could have benefited from a smaller scope or a more linear structure. Focus on the duels could have created a more engrossing product, especially if it honed in on the narrative for a more concise and cinematic experience. But as it stands, Ghost of Tsushima is another AAA open world title and doesn’t seek to define itself as anything other than that.
