    My actual rating for Ghost of Tsushima is more accurately a 9.8. My 1 and ONLY issue with this game is that they should have portrayed Samurai primarily using long pole arms to fight wars and only use katanas as a last resort. Aside from that, this game is damn near a masterpiece.

    Superb art direction, a good narrative and attractive story. Iconic shots inspired in oriental classic films such as Rashomon (in the use of black and white, katana duels, etc...). The gameplay is also interesting, with some different combat styles that the game makes you to use in a quite intelligent way.     Absolutely amazing and breathtaking title. Love the world of the island of Tsushima. The sidequests, plot, characters, music, gameplay are all stellar and A++. This is one of the titles of the PS4 era. Highly recommend to anyone looking to try this game out.

    Really recommended. Perfect combo good graphics even on ps4 that looked shocking. The game’s price is so fair for the quality of the game cuz it has alot of things to do even after the story like dise missions and other. But one thing that had me annoyed in the game is the facial animations were bad but nothing so bad about the game really deserves a 60 dollars price

    The game Assassin's Creed should have been. The combat is incredibly smooth, and enemies don't simply tank hits for indiscernible reasons. The score is incredibly well done, and that's before we talk about how good the game looks.

    Fazia tempo que eu não jogava um jogo tão bom, poucos defeitos tecnicos, boa variedade de gameplay, bebe muito da fonte de Assassin's, o que é excelente, melhores gráficos que já vi (Só atrás de TLOU 2), cenários que serviriam facilmente de papéis de parede, historia muito boa.

    Overhyped in my opinion. The game is not bad, but it’s pretty forgetteable. On the positive, combat is pretty cool, and the graphics are stunning. However, everything feels bland. It gets repetitive, the acting is poor, the story isn’t that interesting and the characters are boring to the point that I don’t care about any of them.     Very well done game. Excellent world, combat, lore and armosphere.

    Occasionally the controller movement is janky during climbing down areas. Also during fights sometimes camera angles are messed up.

    Thensides content is immersice and interesting. I would give it a 9, but the scores below an 8 are B.S. it's an excellent game and I can't wait to see more.

The world itself is an accurate representation of the Japanese island of Tsushima, and you can tell Sucker Punch put their hearts and souls into recreating the island and its people as authentically and accurately as possible. The world-design itself isn’t special, some would even call it akin to “Ubisoft Formula”, but it gets hidden under the interesting and in-depth story, dynamic and purely satisfying combat, and the sheer beauty of the world. Apart from being gorgeous, you’re bound to find exploration and questing less of a chore and more of a reward than anything else, and sometimes you might find yourself purposely looking for enemies just to engage in the nearly flawless and extremely cinematic combat and gameplay. There’s also an online component, called Legends, that’ll have you competing in non-direct pvp against AI, or co-operative survival waves. These are fun but might get boring after many matches, and the lack of customization in this mode (compared to the main game that boasts a larger variety) is slightly disappointing for an online mode, but nonetheless I think the majority of players will find the mode meeting or exceeding their expectations. Sucker Punch have outdone themselves with this game, and I would be more than glad to see a sequel in the future. Easily would recommend!… Expand

The story explores the concept of “Honor” something very important to Japanese society and culture. It explores Jin Sakai’s struggle to try and balance honor and duty and his realization that honor is not one-sided, and it explores it well. However, this game does have some pitfalls; side missions are very repetitive and get boring fast. But, if you look past that; you will enjoy this game.… Expand

I prefer Playstation due to their focus on narrative games. For scoring, I’ll be using the Gameinformer review scale and of course influenced by my personal opinions.

    (10) Outstanding. A truly elite title that is nearly perfect in every way. This score is given out rarely and indicates a game that cannot be missed.

    I’m surprised Sucker Punch was able to write this good of a story since the infamous series seemed to have a mediocre story. The main character struggles with maintaining his traditions or to do what is necessary to save his country from being taking over. The only thing I wish the developer could have done different is to allow you to choose which of those two paths to take instead of forcing you into one path but I admit that would be difficult to write out both ways. The route they take you on will help you decide on your own morals. The combat was also well done in this game, providing a challenge for those that want one. Sucker Punch made this one innovation that every game should follow suit on which is how they guide you through the world. They don’t give you a giant arrow to show you the way. They let you follow the wind. Follow that bird or fox that you found in the game. I’m surprised it took this long for someone to think of this idea. It’s so simply.    … Expand

    Impressive game overall. Some activities may be repetitive but what game is not repetitive these days? Combat is amazing as well as the story. The visuals and the setting are great. This the only samurai game in recent memory and they did a phenomenal job.

    I initially wasn't interested in Ghost of Tsushima but decided to give it a shot at launch because I needed something to play. This is one of the best PlayStation games out to date and the combat is incredible. The PS5 Director's Cut is even better with the DLC and updated performance/visuals.

    Cara, fiquei com medo de jogar e me decepcionar, mas simplesmente não consigo pular nada nem sequer uma quest secundária. O jogo é gostoso de jogar, você pode platinar ele sem nem sentir.     Insane how some people think any modern Assassins Creed game is better than this. Y’all don’t respect yourselves. I won’t even elaborate, it’s simply an amazing game, just not a masterpiece. I’ve grown very critical about many games recently and have stricter standards, but this one? This is it chief. Playing the PS5 version is a wonderful experience. Definitely a must play.

The customization and progression systems are both great. The game has ngp which is also wonderful. The only negative to this game is the character Jin is not that interesting.     Finish the main story of the game and completed everything but the DLC. I did enjoy the games but it does have problems. No need to go into details but will recommend the game to anyone that loves action adventure games.

I played through most of the side quest I haven't even touched the story quest yet and i am truly amazed. The gameplay is so smooth and fun. There are many things to discover and learn. New techniques, new armour, upgrading your tool and much much more.Wow!! Just wow!! What an amazing experience. I am currently playing the game and i am highly addicted to it. I can't stop playing it. I played through most of the side quest I haven't even touched the story quest yet and i am truly amazed. The gameplay is so smooth and fun. If they can’t watch a 20-hour cutscene and they have to actually think at all, then they hate the game. Anyone comparing this to Assassin’s Creed should have their head examined and their mouth slapped.

    This is one of the best PlayStation 4 exclusive games I've ever played. Good graphics, the wind mechanic is interesting and very original, good combat system with bloody death animations on enemies, average story, good soundtrack, and the Japanese artstyle in this game is spectacular and original. The only bad thing about this game is that the missions/side quests like Haikus, CuttingThis is one of the best PlayStation 4 exclusive games I've ever played. Good graphics, the wind mechanic is interesting and very original, good combat system with bloody death animations on enemies, average story, good soundtrack, and the Japanese artstyle in this game is spectacular and original. The only bad thing about this game is that the missions/side quests like Haikus, Cutting Bamboo, Mongol Territories, Sashimono banners, Inari Shrines and Duels are repetitive which makes it feel a bit boring. But it is a very good game. I think this game is not made for everyone, I only recommend this game if you like games set in feudal Japan, in the bloody days of the samurai, or recommended if you like RPGs like Assassin's Creed or The Witcher.     Played this on launch, simply outstanding even with it's flaws. Stealth is smooth and logical. Combat is surprisingly fluid. Then there's the game world, even on a base PS4 it is truly stunning.

    I'd say the only flaw that might be annoying to a lot of players is how "gappy" the story can and could possibly have done with a bit more substance.

    This game is the complete package. I played PS4 version on PS5.
    The combat is extremely tight and responsive with enough variety and options to play to the style that you prefer. You can go and take on entire gangs or you can be strategic and use throwables to isolate and take down. You feel like an absolute badass by the later stages of the game.

    Graphically the game is beautiful and quite varied as you travel around the lush open world.
    On top of the main storyline missions, there are a huge amount of side missions to undertake and they're well designed and not overly repetitive. They also directly link in with the main storyline which I really like.
    The story is well written and the characters are memorable.
    On top of the main and side missions there are other smaller tasks to complete which are very well implemented and really help build the spiritual side of being a samurai.
    I would recommend this game to anyone.

    La versión de PS5 es una maldita pasada, no le pueden sentar mejor los 60 fps. Gráfica y artísticamente de lo mejor del catálogo de PS4 junto a the last of us 2, acompañado de una banda sonora espectacular. Un imprescindible.

    From the beautiful open world to the combat this is a samurai game which does it right, the combat isn’t to hard and can be challenging at times which allows the game to never seem to be too boring or easy.     It's amazing how atmospheric this game is, while not compromising anything.
    Good story with movie-quality cut-scenes.
    Fun mechanics with a reasonable learning curve.
    Simply amazing.
    I'm not giving it a 10 because the game lacks historical & geographical accuracy. I'm especially appalled at how the game completely disregards Tsushima's actual geography.

    I love this game. Exploring was really fun. And the graphics are very beautiful and there’s an breathtaking environment. Combat is like a Morris milliliters of game. The horse riding is very smooth. I also really enjoyed the story it felt like a high budget TV show and I would recommend it to anyone or the age of five

    This is a great game and I had a lot of fun playing with it. The story was good but I was disappointed with how linear the story was. However, I would recommend this game.

I also felt that some character facial performances didn't come off as good due to the reduction in graphics quality, especially after they showed really good footage before the quality went down, but it made for smoother gameplay, so I'm not as fussed about it.     Sucker Punch, I just have to say you have crafted an excellent game, one of Quality, good Performance and Honour. and to be honest, you did something that Ubisoft for a long time could not do, and still, to this day, they have not done it.

    If you have a PS4, or PS5 or are just a fan of Japanese Samurai and culture, Buy the game and Play it ASAP.

    Let me Break down this game in detail.

    GRAPHICS: 10/10
    Insanely beautiful graphics and use of environmental effects and locations, from the wind to the clouds to the sounds, to the grass, trees everything in this world feels alive, calm, and beautiful.

    COMBAT: 10/10
    Satisfying, clean, elegant, and sometimes brutal.

    CHARACTERS: 9/10
    Memorable, used with great care, and well attuned to the plot and story.

    STORY: 9/10
    It is one about change, sacrifice, and Honor, Jin Sekai is mostly a subtle character but you feel this connection, a struggle that he fights internally.

    HONOUR: A Jin Sekai/10
    This game oozes Japanese culture, I love it.

    POLISH AND PERFORMANCE: 10/10
    I have never seen in my life how an open-world game of this size can load so quickly, especially on a PS4, Some dev magic was used and I like it a lot.

    Knowing Sony, they will want a sequel, I want a sequel, and the fans want a Sequel. I can only imagine what that looks like with the Power of the PS5. this game is a 9/10, but why you may ask if I'm gushing so much about it. It's the Quality of some cutscenes, they are not cutscenes at all they are just camera pans, combined with the Story that drags a little and the way the end boss fight was done it loses a point.
    Other than everything else is amazing, this is the Best Japanese Assassins Creed Game I've ever played.    … Expand

Most importantly, the sword-fighting feels so dynamic and realistic - as if you were fighting your self. Even though the game becomes repetitive after a while (the missions all revolve around killing mongols), you never grow tired of the battles.     best samurai game out there! Satisfying, addictive and brutal gameplay, not to mention the great story! Too bad it's a PS4 exclusive. I saw many videos of bugs but playing on my cousin's PS4 I barely had bugs that disturbed my experience in the game

    Сюжет - вполне неплохо, но не увау. По началу интригующе, потом по хуже, в конце прям кульминация, мое почтение. Сюжет прямо линейный, только в конце есть выбор, и признаюсь, я в конце минуты 3 просто смотрел на экран и думал что сделать, очень хорошо. Сюжет - 7/10
    Раскрытие главных персонажей - это как бы побочные задачи, но как бы нет, раскрыли очень хорошо 10/10
    Обычные побочные задачи - унылое, постное, неинтересное, с раскрытием главных героев несравненно. Было пару тройку интересных, поэтому 3/10
    Донатная система - её нет. Кто-то из юбимофт сейчас потерял дар речи, как нет доната? В игре много красивых скинов. Вы их получаете за цветочки найденные в открытом мире. Находишь цветочки и меняешь их на скины у торговцев, которые также находятся в открытом мире. Вообще нет доната, никакого, ни визуального, ни тем более гейплейного, можно было добавить море доната и это не сделали, дав игрокам возможность получить все за свой труд 10/10
    Мне не понравились кат сцены, на них сэкономили, но на этом можно было сэкономить 3/10
    Итог - игра классная, однозначно может называть себя ААА проектом. Ставлю 8 баллов за побочные задания, кат сцены и дальность прорисовки.    … Expand

    Ghost of Tsushima is the perfect example why an average gamer should not look into critics review to buy a game. compared to games like Elden Ring, Ghost of Tsushima is a head and shoulder above in every aspect of the game. There is a story, fun fights and difficulty settings that is suitable for everyone. The haptic feedback on PS5 is amazing even though this game was designed for previous gen.

    Ghost of Tsushima is a flawed, but fun, game. While the gameplay itself was solid, and the story was decent, I definitely expected a lot more from Sony’s final PlayStation 4 exclusive. It had enough to keep me hooked, but lacked the polish we’ve all grown to love from a Sony first party game.

    Ultimately, it feels like the game could have benefited from a smaller scope or a more linear structure. Focus on the duels could have created a more engrossing product, especially if it honed in on the narrative for a more concise and cinematic experience. But as it stands, Ghost of Tsushima is another AAA open world title and doesn’t seek to define itself as anything other than that.
