The story doesn't dissapoint, at all. It's interesting, complex and well presented. However, I can't say the same thing about the gameplay, which for me was rather disappointing. Very few meaningful decisions and very few scenes where you control the sitiuation. I felt like I was watching a movie, and nothing more.
I will count out the graphics, since the developers focus on the story,

GOT: Iron from Ice catches the true imagination of westeros. It seems you are looking a new Episode of the GOT series. Graphics are ok, but sometimes you could get exe cancer... But thats the Telltale way of Graphics...

Episode One could be little better and easier to understand, but great ending and some awesome moments in game gives 7/10. Hopes that Episode Two is outstanding like WD s.1

The first episode is an alright introduction, and it had some very interesting parts. I think the ending was really good, it's not something I expected at all.

I say it was definitely worth the money but I think it could be improved in some ways, there should be more gameplay and decision making. Some parts seem to get boring at times but it's good most of the time. I think graphics

I say it's not the worst TellTale have done, that "honour" goes to TWDG season 2 in my opinion (I have a lot to say about TWDG season 2, although season 1 of TWDG was amazing). I'm looking forward to the next episode of GoT as I am for TFTB and I'm looking forward to TWAU season 2. I'm also looking forward to seeing if TellTale surprises me with TWDG season 3 by making it much better than they did with season 2.

It's not the best game that could be developed from the best TV show ever.
However it brings an interesting story and keep a lot of GoT elements: blood, violence, politics, etc.
The graphics needs a lot of improvement but other than than I think Telltate Games can deliver the best GoT game ever in the near future.

I'm a huge fan of GoT, and have heard loads of great things about Telltale games. Unfortunately, this game wasn't what I expected and I found myself outright bored in long sections.

The characters feel like a BBC Sunday night fantasy/drama, rather than the rich and deviant world we are used to in the HBO series. The script is so-so and the voice acting is good. That said, it didn't

That said, it didn't feel like anything happened here at all. I played through Ep1 awaiting something important to happen, I finished and assumed I'd failed the game. So, I restarted it and made very different decisions, the consequences of which didn't change a thing. To me, this isn't what I was expecting and really flattened the experience on the whole. Very linear gameplay that resultantly left me bored and glad it was only £3.99.

I won't bother with ep.2 after this and just await the much loved HBO series to kick off again in the future

It's a nice game that captures the essence of the popular "A Song of Ice and Fire" world. The first episode isn't anything amazing or mind-blowing, even if kind of slow at times, but it serves as a good introduction to the storyline. The problem I see would be GOT is a drama above an action show, and that isn't necessarily an easy thing to incorporate into a video-game. The art style is way too pixelated, which gets very annoying, and even before I play the second episode I doubt it will get any better. I still had fun and they definitely managed to keep the feel of such a corrupted world that is Westeros. Expand

Overall, it feels like a very rocky beginning to a potentially exciting series.

An excellent adaptation that captures the core elements that has made its source material so successful and one that lays strong foundations for the episodes to come. [Issue#253, p.68]
